Lead to a disaster! Well, not really. You're more of a disaster. Not as much as tweek tho. The fact that you're in love with both of them and that they're already a healthy and cute couple AND you don't know if whether they were an open relationship or not makes you overthink and the whole situation is overall overwhelming! Does that mean you'll stop? No! Will it be hard for you? Yes!

Since they're both ussually seen together you would be extra flushed and that certainly didn't help.

Even if they're both already dating you still had a bit of hope blooming inside of you, you were really in love with both of them and you're rather eager to date them. That would lead to you doing small helpful things to them to full on giving them a high-quality gift. On rare occasions you'd have to invite your friends to help.

Your very first step on getting closer to them is talking to them! You knew you shouldn't be direct and straightforward with it but how else are you supposed to get closer to someone?

You'd practice all day infront of the mirror and decided to test it out with your close friends to avoid fucking it up but guess what? You fucked up hard, figuratively.

The first time you tried to have a conversation with them didn't go exactly how you planned it to be, it was rather awkward and you almost always somehow fumble your words.

"gah! O-oh, hey Y/n" Tweek jerked his head to the said. He backed up as soon you appeared behind him. Of course he was beside Craig. Tweek seemed normal as he's just shaking and Craig had his usual poker face.

"oh uh- good morning... Tweek! And Craig..." you chuckled, obviously nervous. Your face started to heat up when both males just stared at you like they're waiting for something else.

"you want something?" Craig questioned in his monotoned voice.

"no..?" you replied confused. Well fuck, you've forgotten what to say.

"uh okay" He simply sighed and went back to getting things from his locker

"..." Tweek seemed to stop his twitching and looked at you. Waiting if you're gonna say something or not. It was dead silent and the only thing you can hear is chatting from the people walking by and lockers clacking.

It was so awkward you couldn't handle it, you didn't want to see them so it seemed that the best choice was to just ran away.

You closed your eyes as you sprint away from the scene, you could feel eyes on you. it was another fail and you're running out of time since summer break is nearing. You need to do something right now— well not now but now and quickly.

You decided went to put your mind at ease at the playground but one thing you hadn't realize was that tweek was running after you, it was—of course— surprising since tweek was always labeled as 'The paranoid' and 'overthinker' but a part of you was overjoyed that one of your crush went after you.

"gah- I'm sorry Y/n! It was just... I just wanted to... UGHH never mind!" Tweek shook at his mistake but was quick to discard it as he immediately went beside you.

"I don't... Really know how to comfort people but I'm sorry it was awkward back there...ahhh how do I say this?!" Tweek struggled with his sentence and rubbed the bridge of his nose, you did admit it was cute seeing tweek all annoyed. "oh right, uh- as I was saying it was kinda awkward back there but I er... Decided to go after you since you seemed like you wanted to say something back there..."

"oh... Well about that.... Er it's kinda embarrassing b-" as you were about to continue your sentence was cut off by Craig "Honey! You ran off without giving a warning what happened?" though the tone hasn't changed— and his expression was left untouched— you could tell Craig was genuinely worried.

"o-oh hey babe! Y/n was about to say something." Tweek signaled the other man to come sit with him. You'd be lying if you said you didn't feel jealous when they used pet names with each other.

Now that both of your crushes was beside you. Your face suddenly turned warm, you looked down and fiddled with your fingers. It would be even more awkward to admit your inlove with two people that are dating. The fact that they're beside you was a cherry on top.

"er... I guess...." your voice slowly became quiet. "uhm... How can I say this infront of you two..?" you simply crossed your arms, pretending to think.

"go on..." Craig was patiently waiting for your confession awhile tweek seemed a bit impatient but he tried his hardest to wait.

"I just... Yknow" you let out an exaggerating sigh and slowly turned irritated trying to think of a metaphor.

"fufk! Ok fine I'll admit it! I have feelings for both of you!" you felt overwhelmed that you straight up admit it without realizing. You audibly gasped and covered your mouth as soon those words came out of your mouth.

Both went silent. Tears rolled down your face and you wanted to die right now but then

"actually... We both feel the same way..." Craig broke the silent first. You didn't know how to feel

"What? What do they mean?" Was all you could think

"oh uhm... You see, we both liked you even before the... Yaoi situation, we sort off— didn't like each other since we both liked you and all but because of the Asian girls making fanarts of us we somehow ended up together. That didnt meant our feelings for you disappeared. " Tweek confirmed, his twitching seemed to calm down as he said that and you full on sobbed from happiness.

"it's okay Y/n, let it all out." Craig comforted you with his words and both continued to embraced you. You felt safe around their arms, you felt happy knowing that you weren't weird for liking both of them.

While you all weren't sure about revealing your relationship, you might as well risk it since it isn't the others choice for your relationship! While other thought it was weird they still gave you a nod of approve but some did object to the idea.

At the early stages of your new relationship Tweek seems to be more cautious while Craig was... Craig. But later on tweek seems more honest and a little more laid-back around you but he's still the normal tweek and Craig let's out more of his emotions with you.

Now that you were all together, you also needed to pamper tweek alongside with Craig. You gotta admit it was pretty tiring but you actually loved it.

While you give attention to both men, tweek is aware you were even a little stressed due to him being paranoid all the time do he would give you, Craig or both of you something that would help you calming.

Sometimes the item in question is something very random, mostly rocks since it's common. You would even join tweek into the rock giving ceremony

Ever since you became apart of the relationship you became aware of some things they've kept secret. This would be a weird thing to say but you've been married 20 times now. Apperantly ever since the girls made them marry in 4th grade it became a tradition to pretend marry at a certain time and date. Which you found funny so you played along. They seemed serious about it tho...

Let's just say you compliment each other's personality really well!

the zestiria timeline baffles me to no end because i know all the camlaan stuff takes place 17 years before the events of the game and i know it has to be that way because that's the only way for sorey and mikleo to have originated in camlaan. and yet. what do you mean heldalf has only been living with his curse for 17 years. what do you mean the celestial record is 21 years old. what do you mean camlaan has only been around for less than 30 years. in my head all this stuff takes place on a waaaaaay larger scale like heldalf should have been wandering the earth in solitude for at least a century right? you're telling me it only took him 17 years to give into the malevolence? what a loser. and the celestial record felt like an ancient book from a time long past when they were nerding about it in the beginning of the game. you're telling me it's barely older than sorey and mikleo themselves? and you can't just go around calling a village that existed 22 years ago and was lived in for only 5 "the origin village." like nah that thing has to have been around for at least 50 before you go calling it something as dramatic as that. idk. in the two-and-a-half-years in between playing zestiria i forgot all the lore and i had it in my head that shepherds were like a once-every-one-hundred-years deal and michael was from like ages ago and all this stuff was ancient as hell. and it feels so silly to me that it was all so recent

#again i get that it has to be a really crunched together timeline to get the sorey and mikleo origins to work but #i simply think it should have worked differently. whether or not it works as well narratively. stuff that feels ancient should be ancient #at least. UHMM this might be silly sorey i am not very familiar with your lore but is there a reason u stylize gohd of cannibalism like "gohd" other than aesthetic choices ?? also what is up with the funny art of this beast and vermillion .. like "the devouring of vermillion hart" i think that is very cool :3

oh my goodness gracious theres so much to them SMILE anyhow, gohd is spelled that way umm i suppoooooose kind of cuz aesthetic choices but also in my brainworld theres many many gohds but only on god, the gohds represent one thing specifically, typically a concept, and god represents everything. but anyways verm and his gohd :) so vermillion is the prophet of the gohd of cannibalism but he lies to people that hes the prophet of the gohd of love so that theyll follow him around n listen to him, this is also how he gets food. he doesnt kill people willy nilly cuz he HAS to eat the entire body of someone when he happens to eat, him and his gohd share a stomach also and anything but the flesh of others will make them both sick. vem does have a sort of meat locker of people hes killed who have tried to kill him yknow UMMMM they have a horrible devotional love going on but its not like "official" theyve just been together for a really fucking long time BUTTT that drawing you mentioned specifically is cuz vermillions story line ends with him dying after being poisoned and his gohd eating him, locking itself away in heaven from grief, and eating itself alive ^_^ its a big tragic thing that deserved to happen yaaay

Who is more likely to hurt the other?

Sorey... not because he would WANT to, but because it's unavoidable. He already hurt Mikleo multiple times in game, once because he thought he was 'keeping Mikleo safe,' and the other? Well, he had to sacrifice himself to save the world. Sorey is the purest, most selfless of beings, so if he EVER hurts anyone, it's because he, genuinely, thought it was the best possible option at the time.

Who is emotionally stronger?

Sorey. Even despite everything that was dumped on his shoulders, he suffered through it with a smile, often setting aside his own turmoil to help those around him. Sorey also has more of a duty to be strong; if the world is going to rely on him and believe he can be the chosen Shepherd they expect him to be, he can't falter. Mikleo gets a free ticket since most people can't even see him.

Who is physically stronger?

Sorey. Mikleo is definitely extremely strong, and when they armatize, he boosts Sorey's strength exponentially, but Sorey is the Shepherd. He is MEANT to be strong, both in resolve and physically.

Who is more likely to break a bone?

You know what? I'd say they're equal. Sorey is definitely more reckless than Mikleo, but we've also seen that Mikleo is a bit, ah... trap trigger happy.

Who knows best what to say to upset the other?

I'ma go with 'neither' on this. They know everything about each other, and could definitely use whatever they wanted against the other if they REALLY wanted to cause upset, but that's the thing... they wouldn't. Not on purpose.

Who is most likely to apologize first after an argument?

Sorey. Mikleo is definitely more stubborn than Sorey is.

Who treats who’s wounds more often?

Mikleo treats Sorey's wounds.

Who is in constant need of comfort?

I'd say Mikleo. Not because he wants to be or seeks it out, but this kinda feeds off the 'Sorey is emotionally stronger' thing.

Who gets more jealous?

Mikleoooooo, oh my goodness. It's shown several times in game (like when Sorey is interacting with Alisha, or when Sorey enjoys Lailah's cooking instead of Mikleo's).

Who’s most likely to walk out on the other?

Well... Mikleo walked out on Sorey once in game, even though it was because he was upset and thought he wasn't needed. I can't see Sorey EVER abandoning Mikleo.

Who will propose?

Sorey to Mikleo. :)

Who has the most difficult parents?

BOTH, LMFAO.

Who initiates hand-holding when they’re out in public?

Sorey. Mikleo isn't called 'Tsunleo' for no reason, after all.

I could see Sorey being a bit more of a blanket hog? Not on purpose, of course! He just looks like a big golden retriever who doesn't realize he takes up so much space in bed.

Mikleo. Hard not to when you have to watch your best friend throw himself into the line of danger endlessly to save the world.

Who is better at cheering the other up?

Equal! And they can easily tell when the other is upset, too, so it doesn't take much, if ANYTHING.

Who’s the one that playfully slaps the other all the time after they make silly jokes?

Sorey definitely slaps Mikleo, haha.

Who is more streetwise?

Mm... neither. They both had a relatively sheltered upbringing, so they're learning, at an equal pace, about the 'outside world.'

Who is more wise?

Definitely Mikleo. I think it comes with the fact that he's more mature, and was 'Gramps' right hand' back in Elysia.

Who’s the shyest?

100% Mikleo.

Who boasts about the other more?

We've seen Sorey hype Mikleo up SEVERAL times in canon (and his voice actor does, too, hilariously enough), so the crown goes to the golden retriever for this one.

Who sits on whose lap?

Mikleo would sit in Sorey's lap. He'd get extremely flustered about it, but it brings him an immense amount of comfort.

Finders Keepers: Draft #2 (first bit) / About Earlier

My grammar mistake checker isnt working so. We die like men until I get to my computer later. This is just a bit from draft 2, I'll prob finish it later, i just HAD to show this part i wrote hehe

Also, this is mostly a test for writing character dialogs and conversations!! sorey if it looks a bit scuffed :]

Scene Context: You and Sun come back to your house after a rather stressful morning out in town. Some things happened, and you are pretty pissed about it, so you go into your backyard to try and get it all out. Sun comes up to you to ask if you're ok and two talk about what happened some hours ago.

"Well, It's just that—" Sun interrupts himself as if he's rethinking on what he should say to you. There is a small pause before he continues

"I don't think this is a healthy way to cope with what happened, friend! ...Let alone safe." He says the last part a bit more quietly than the whole sentence.

The worst part is not that you are being lectured about how you should properly channel your anger; The worst part, really, was that he was right– and you knew it.

"I mean, I never really said it was— I- I know It's not really a good way to get it all out, but hey what can I do." you let out a forced chuckle in a failed attempt to make the conversation more light, but it doesn't work, In fact, Sun seems a bit more worried about your well-being now.

“Are you sure you’re feeling okay?” They come closer to try and get your attention, tilting their head only slightly. There are a few seconds of silence as you look away, thinking of a way to maybe change the conversation's subject.

You don't feel like talking about happened earlier, but given how Sun is just as stubborn as you in some regards, there probably isn't an escape from this interaction.

"I'm fine, it's just that..." you start, trying to find the right words to properly convey your thoughts.

"Remember the lady we saw this morning? The one met when leaving hardware store?"

Of course he remembers. Hell, even if he wanted to, they probably wouldn't be able to forget it. Neither of you would.

"Well, she's certainly a hard figure to forget– for a bit at least– She did says some rather... mean things." Sun's ray's shrink a bit while they start fidgeting with what's left of their wrist ribbons.

" Sun, she treated you like shit! for no reason at all!". You raise your voice, but as soon as you notice, you try talking a bit more lower to try and calm yourself down: "It makes me so pissed off, she just didn't care."

"Maybe she was having a bad day! People have those sometimes"

"It certainly didn't look like it, and even if she was, it doesn't just give her the right to lash out at you!" You turn to Sun with a bit of concern in your eyes. "Aren't you upset about it too?"

There is a short silence while you wait for their response. You dont know if the delay for his answer is because he's trying to figure out what to answer, or if hes considering to even answer the question at all.

The only thing breaking the silence is the almost unnoticeable clicks coming from their machinery

"To say that we aren't would be a lie, we are pretty upset! It's just that... we got a bit used to this by now!"

Sun saying that, with the unchanging smile of his faceplate makes you feel sad on the inside. He pokes the top of your head, slowly changing back to his cheerful tone. "You don't need to get your silly head all worried for us! We are fine"

"But I WANT to worry! This isn't okay, Sun! You shouldn't just be getting thrown around and treated badly just because people can! None of you." You protest, denying their request. "You have feelings and a life just like any other, they should know that."

"Why do you care so much? This doesn't affect you, it doesn't hurt you! Why do you care so much about us?!" They say, back with a less jokey tone and more of a serious one.

While Sun's question comes off a bit more harsh than they intend, you feel like there is also some kind of confussion behind it. His question is serious, because he genuinely doesn't get why you would care about their well-being at all.

"Because you are my friend!" You say, in the same tone—if not louder.

He doesn't answer, though the clicking sound seems to appear again.

"I care about you guys, and I WANT to care! You are deserving of love and kindness, even if you don't feel like you do sometimes."

Was sorting through my Zestiria merch and remembered I own the ufotable lineart books for TOZX and yeah there are still nice things in a vacuum to like about TOZX tbh. It fails as an adaptation and it fails as a standalone story, but it is still quite interesting for what it chooses to create anew.

Even though I don't think the anime used it very well (and it does have like way too much of a "suffering for humanity's sins" vibe) I liked that Sorey purifying malevolence basically puts him through what caused that person to become malevolent, and I definitely preferred that method of exposition to the Earthen Historia (which, yes, I know Berseria also did it and made it more streamlined, but in an anime adaptation that sort of fetch quest would not work).

If Alisha had to leave the party because of Sorey's blindness I definitely prefer the manga's take on it where she has more agency in doing so, but ultimately I still prefer Rose and Alisha's storylines in TOZX to what they get in the game because the focus is better placed on them having conflicts to deal with, especially actually treating Rose's murder thing as murder.

(Sure, we know she vets targets and has good intentions, but why should the party believe her when it's been established you can think you're 100% right about something and not generate malevolence.)

And I like that Alisha takes part in the final battle. I ~know~ there's a point to her staying gone in the game/manga but I'll take my silly power of friendship cheesiness in non-canon adaptation.

Like don't get me wrong, TOZX is a disappointing adaptation for sure, but TOZX wasn't a prequel or a sequel so if I wanted more of Sorey and Mikleo, game/manga canon was still there... Whereas we didn't really get much of Rose and Alisha interacting that way outside of the DLC.

Honestly I was just kind of "filling in the blanks" during most of TOZX imagining that the party were doing their usual party things while the focus was on Rose or Alisha, and you kind of have to when very little in TOZX feels "earned" through the continuity of that adaptation, you basically need to care about the characters via what you know about them from the game, but it's still nice to me to be able to see in some sense "what could have been".

(Hence, TOZX didn't have to be a faithful adaptation of Zestiria, but it was also not a good story as a standalone experience, so I imagine first-time audiences were very confused and existing fans were. well.)

But even if Eizen going back to normal was sudden (in an ending that was already over-the-top happy with everything neatly resolved), even if dragons can't be purified and they do it anyway, it's still a heartwarming thing in a vacuum, like how the Epileo and Sorey hug is still sweet even in TOZX continuity it's actually pretty fucking depressing confirming that Sorey is still human.

Like yeah, TOZX is a bad adaptation and it doesn't work as a story on its own either, but there are still small details I really like. I would have preferred an adaptation that was more faithful to the game lore, and I feel like they wasted a lot of money on it and probably should have just adapted Berseria instead since interest in Zestiria was dying already with Berseria's release, but for what we got it wasn't completely worthless.

Or maybe it's just because, to me, any adaptation is just free fanfic inspo to me and I just take the parts I like and ignore the rest.

#like im still mad at asteria but it's over now and i can just steal the premise of violet eyed elle surviving with victor!#i haven't seen much about tozx since i returned to zestiria fandom in 2021 but what i have is basically always negative and that's fair #but idk maybe it's because i already see flaws with zestiria's game story and i'm already nitpicking canon details to keep there #which is basically how i handle x2 because like. you just know they did NOT think it through #so to me it's really not that big of a deal that the adaptation is extremely unnecessary #tozx #zes #v #i don't have a negativity tag we're all gonna have to live with this

I'm gonna ramble a teensy bit sorey

4 years after I first had this thought and I am still angry that there is no Marianne and Seteth support chain. Doesn't even have to have an A support (would be nice though) I JUST NEED THEM TO CANONICALLY INTERACT. Marianne is a very devout (is that a word) believer so you'd think she'd have supports with a member of the church, right?? NO. She should've had a support chain with Seteth bc he's like. The church guy. Flayn is too silly in contrast to Marianne's canon depression, Catherine is also too silly and Cyril is Cyril. He's lovely but no. That only really leaves Seteth. There are no Rhea supports and Manuela and Hanneman do not care much about the church. Not to mention that she DOES have supports with Hanneman, but he's just asking about her crest!!!! I do think Seteth and Marianne could be friends cause Seteth is a very patient and understanding person and that is EXACTLY what Marianne needs. Obviously if they had a paired ending then it would be platonic. Idk what the ending would even be, just not something with "they got married and ran off together" or something stupid. Fe3h has some iffy paired endings in regards to some characters' ages sometimes unfortunately :(

Also just while we're here. EVERYONE is so so so mean to Cyril. In game and irl. He adores Rhea bc of [spoilers] and she takes advantage of that by making him do SO MUCH LABOR. This is also why all Cyril fans are also Cyril x Lysithea shippers. It's an objectively very cute ship. Also did you know his VA is called Griffin Burns?? Sick name. Griffin Burns has done a good handful of characters I like but the only one you know is Kai in to your eternity. That's sick.

3. What work are you most proud of (regardless of kudos/hits)?

What I'm really proud of is Two Souls, obviously... Well, more like the whole Mama Leo series, but specifically Two Souls.

It just really warms my heart how me and shy made a community around writing silly little turtles. I've grown from being a small baby writer that wrote shit for fun on a notebook to having people interacting with my work, even if it's only a fanfic.

I'm also real proud of it from how i improved, the word counts are in the range of 4k to 11k and i always have a lot of fun woth writing. Seeing it grow makes me so proud.

Aside from that, I'm also proud of my less known fics, like the oneshots i made for rc9gn and "The Classic Switcheroo" i made for the Encanto fandom. The imagery i made there really helped with my future works.

4. What work of yours has the most hits?

Obviously Two Souls lmao. The second is The Classic Switcheroo which... I am sorey for abandoning—

5. What work of yours got more feedback than you expected?

Again lmaoo, Two Souls.

I wasn't really expecting people to flock to it. I think the main thing that helped it grow is the screenshot inserts mama shy made for the fic.

It makes me tear up to see the amount of support it got. I got fanart, fanfics and animatics about it and it makes me so overwhelmed.

I'm still surprised and very thankful ya'll.

30. Biggest surprise while writing this year?

My biggest surprise is probably the positive response to my original villains.

As a reader, i don't really like ocs in fics because sometimes they're hogging up the spotlight for the real characters plus they tend to be written into the story very poorly or used for shipping (if you dont know me, i dont like shipping as the focus of a fic)

And usually I would kill off ocs if i do end up adding one.

But these three, these badass women plus Jester.

They strike fear, they keep the plot going, they don't hog the spotlight, they demand it. They take it from the characters to show that they're a serious threat. I don't ship them with the characters (beside i dont know how to write a good romance) and they just click. They fit in as if they're a part of the show and it makes me so darn surprised that most of ya'll like them.

I'm really thankful that ya'll like them.

8. What’s the worst thing about the canon you are writing?

that's a tough one since i'm not too nitpicky or critical unless i'm forced to be, actually (despite my degree literally being in communication studies but SHHH)!! i guess in terms of the game's story, the last act does seem... weirdly rushed compared to the other acts? acts 1 and 2 are AMAZING and i love the "forced road trip where everything goes Wrong" thing going on for most of it, but then the 3rd act becomes very "ok guys let's go to point A, now point B, point etc.". i guess the sidequests and extra dungeons make it less obvious, especially in ng+, but it's still noticeable.

this is just me being silly, but i'll never get over how they mention flynn was absolutely losing it over yuri's disappearance at the end of act 2 and then when they reunite it's like . never talked about by anyone??? njjng it's not even brought up by estelle again or anything. small dropped plot details like that confuse me -- imagine the potential DRAMA!!!

OH, also considering it's a game that focuses a lot on corruption and political bs, i think it would've been nice to see more commentary on stuff like that from a systemic POV instead of placing most of it on specific individuals! but the hints are there, so i guess i can't complain too much lol.

13. Are there any other characters from the franchise you’d like to play?

YES OMG!!! not really any other characters from vesperia, but definitely characters from other tales games. i have, like, a list i've been keeping track of in my brain for years:

pascal from graces (she'd be my #1 choice <3) or richard, mayhaps

leia from xillia (fun fact: i rp'd milla for like 2 weeks back in middle school)

sorey from zestiria

genis from symphonia (but i'd have to finish the duology first...)

i also haven't gotten more than ~3 hours into abyss because i lost all my data from the totally legal method i was using to do so, but i think i'd wanna play guy !!!

Sorry ti bug you but I was was thinking about him a bit and I was wondering what kind of archtype slyvester uses? If he would, Sorey if you've answered that before hut Ive alsays liked hoe the show blends a characters personality into it if that makes sense!(stupid silly question but do you think hed have a kitry side deck. Like just melffy catty and rescue cat. All kitty)

he actually uses a custom archetype! i haven't really nailed down a name for it even after all this time but its theming revolves around animal/human hybrids with an emphasis on the body horror it entails. the monsters often have human limbs or features that seem uncanny and out of place, and they generally are in some state of decay. one of the first monsters i thought of for it was a sort of zombie tiger with an extra set of human arms, as well as bones on its back that make it seem as if a human partially merged into it.

the archetype overall is representative of his relationship with his body. body of man and soul of beast, he exists in both worlds and yet functions as neither. there are also some elements of things he experienced or were common in his life. in universe, the cards were created for him when he became a dark signer, grown out of his negative emotions and experiences. they are grotesque because he is grotesque.

prior to that, he probably used some generic dragon deck based on whatever cards he could get his hands on. in satellite, you used what you could find, yk?

i've thought about sylvester using a "recovered" version of his archetype post canon. a version where the animal and human sides exist in harmony instead of fighting and hindering each other. he'd also get a restored version of his dragon different from his original signer dragon iteration. a way to show how he's reconciled his identity and taken full claim over it.

now to finally address the kitty side deck question, yeah he would lol. even if it isn't a full playable deck, he'd probably keep all the cat cards he could get stashed somewhere. might keep a battered copy of rescue cat in his pocket too lol.
