Finally getting some time to do this. Tagged by the lovely @treeffles
Favourite time of year - winter I guess , I love the 3 to 20 (Ty global warming) days of cold we get each year.
Comfort food - hot dog and milkshake
Favourite collection - my Shit Emoji paraphernalia collection. I didn't buy a single one of the 7 shit items I own, several different people just looked at lil Shits and thought "Julia is gonna love this" and bought them for me. They were not wrong.
Favourite drink - chocolate milk
Favourite songs - just gonna list a few I love and make me feel the things. Don McLean's "Castles in the air" and Ellie Goulding's rendition of his "Vincent", Elbow's "One day like this", Kansas' "The Wall" and Mike Oldfield's "Man on the rocks"
Favourite artist - van gogh and JMW Turner for art, Keane and Bowie for music, Douglas Adams for literature, Ben whishaw for acting, idk ??
Favourite fic - my favourite piece of fiction is Catch-22 by Joseph Heller which is also my fav book lol but I'm being facetious here. My favourite fanfic is probably that one sad fic about Felix and Sylvain from FE3H where Sad Felix adopts a child after the war, what was it's name (@grey-so-little knows, help me out here).. but I also love the Ivory Tower by @asaara-writes
I'll tag @grey-so-little @asaara-writes @roguequartz to do it if they so want

2 & 4 for the book ask!
Thanks for the ask!
2. Do you reread anything? What?
I very rarely re-read anything, but in saying that I actually re-read two books this year!
The first was The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid. I just felt like re-reading it!
The second was Fred Astaire's autobiography Steps in Time. I first read it as a teenager (cos I was very cool) and felt it was time to revisit it.
4. Do you discover any new authors that you love this year?
Yes, absolutely! I'm always trying new authors and so here are a few that were new to me this year after picking up one of their books:
Hernan Diaz (Trust), Leila Mottley (Nightcrawling), Julia Armfield (Our Wives under the Sea), Jennette McCurdy (I'm Glad My Mom Died), Rebecca F Kuang (Yellowface), Miranda Cowley Heller (The Paper Palace), Eliza Clark (Boy Parts), Colin Walsh (Kala), Celine Saintclare (Sugar, Baby), Maggie O'Farrell (Hamnet, The Marriage Portrait), Priscilla Morris (Black Butterflies), Alice Winn (In Memoriam), Jeanine Basinger (The Star Machine), Natasha Brown (Assembly)
