My latest offering for you, o mighty tumblr. Will I ever stop painting our lord and saviour Joanne Davidson? I hope not.
For real though, I can see why oldy timey artists often had a ‘muse’ they’d paint over and over again. It’s a lot easier to just focus on your technique when you already know the details of someone’s face. I’m trying really hard to make my portraits less smooth and airbrushed looking at the moment, as it’s a trap I often fall into. Tried to fix that here by only using textured painting brushes on Procreate rather than the airbrushes, esp for big bits of colour that look similar in tone. Tricky for sure, but worth it I think!

Awards for children-focused programs have been presented at the Daytime and Primetime Emmy Awards for decades.
In fact, it was at the 2003 Daytime ceremony that Shia LaBeouf won for his role as Louis Stevens in the category of Outstanding Performer in Children’s Programming. (Coincidentally, it was DCOM queen Kirsten Storms that presented it.)
youtube
As viewers continue to move away from traditional daytime and primetime slots, The Television Academy decided to give children’s television its own award presentation to embrace streaming and its non-linear content.
This year marked the inaugural Children’s and Family Emmy Awards.
Disney Channel/Plus received several nominations during the November announcement. Our paranormal recommendation, Secrets of Sulphur Springs, was one.

But it was the revival of Zoog Disney’s The Proud Family that had our attention.
The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder garnered 3 nominations in
Outstanding Animated Series
Outstanding Voice Directing For An Animated Series
Outstanding Casting For An Animated Program
And they made history at this month’s ceremony when they won!
Tumblr media
Congratulations, Proud Family, on your win for Outstanding Casting for an Animated Program.

Doctor Who: The Power of The Doctor – TV Review
Doctor Who: The Power of The Doctor – TV Review
TL;DR – While this episode looks back to the past, I feel it might have the ability to steer the show into the future while also getting to be a romp in its own right. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Rating: 4 out of 5. Disclosure – I watched this on ABC iView. Doctor Who Review – When it comes to Doctor Who, well, it is a history of highs and lows. Some of those early memories of the show linger in my consciousness.…
