I have been thinking about how to phrase this all day and haven't come up with anything that gets close to expressing just how grateful I am. So, do bear with me, this is not perfect. I am honestly stunned and have been left speechless ever since the Jily Awards 2022 nominations came out. Thank you so much for all the love and support and to the people that read some of my work and found it worthy of nomination. I feel like an absolute winner and am so deeply honoured. The only thing I can think of when it comes to properly thanking you is continuing to create and I will try my very hardest to keep doing that! (Seeing as I've got loads of WIPs, I think we're good.) Congratulations to all the other amazing and fabulous nominees! When I see the incredible list of works that have been nominated, I can't help but feel warm and fuzzy on the inside. Hey besties!

I know I haven’t been around a ton these past few months because work has been taking up a lot of my energy along with some creative burnout, so I’m sorry for my absence. 

I just wanted to take a second and thank you guys for reading my stories and loving them enough to nominate 2 of them for 2022 Jily Awards! This means to the world to me! When I write a silly little story, I just think that me and 2 other people will read it and enjoy it, so finding out that maybe more people out there like it mean the world to me! 

Also I’m still working on Jily stories! Hoping DWOHT Chapter 7 and a short holiday story will be posted by the end of the year! I’m constantly thinking of new ideas, just don’t have the time to write them all out.

For transparency, some notes on voting:

The voting in almost every category for Round 2 was so close, Even if you didn't make it to Round 3, you should be exceedingly proud of yourself.

There were 79 total votes this round, and no votes were voided! There were a few people who voted for more than one creation per category, but I worked with those people to correct their votes.

My goal was to have 3 fics, 3 people, and 5 art in their respective categories for the finals. Many of the categories worked out to these number. There were several ties this round, and rather than try to break the ties, I just brought the additional fics into the finals. Angst, in particular, had a 3 way tie in 3rd place, so all five fics made it to the finals. Other categories with ties were: AU One-Shot, Drabble, and Smut.
