The Clothing of the Woman In Her Prayer
Q1: I heard on a religious show that it is prohibited for a woman to pray with her feet uncovered; what is the ruling? A1: They replied: The woman is required to cover all of her body when praying, including the feet, which must be covered. As for the face, it should be left uncovered if there are no non-maḥram men nearby. If she offered some prayers in the past in which her feet were uncovered, then she is pardoned, in shāʾ Allah, due to having been ignorant of the ruling. And Allah is the source of strength. May Allah raise the rank and grant peace to our Prophet Muḥammad and his Companions.

For some sisters out there...
What's the point of your jilbaab or even niqaab if you end up applying mascara or even beautify you eyebrows (except kohl since it's sunnah)?

"Should a woman cover her feet when she prays?"
Shaikh al-Albaani says:
"It is not permissible for her to pray with her feet uncovered, indeed it is not permissible for her to walk in the streets with her feet uncovered, because the feet are part of a woman's awrah based on Allah's Statement: “And let them not stamp their feet tó make known what they conceal of their adornment”. [Surat un-Noor 24:31]
This means that the feet used to be covered. Because of the jilbab that the women were commanded to cast down from over their heads, according to Allah's Statement: “O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their outer garments (jilbaabs) close upon themselves.” [Surat ul-Ahzaab 33:59]
And it is mentioned in the authentic hadeeth that the Prophet ﷺ said one day during a gathering in which there were also women: Whoever drags his garment out of pride, Allah ﷻ will not look at him on the Day of Resurrection. One of the women said: 'O Messenger of Allaah, then our feet will be exposed! He women lengthen (their garments) by a hand-span! She said: 'Then a wind will come and uncover (their feet): He is said. 'let them add another hand-span, ie. (a total of) orie cubit, and not go beyond that!' [Saheeh at-Tirmidhi 1731]
In this manner, the jilbaab of the Muslim woman - at the time of the revelation of the above-mentioned verse: {to draw their outer garments (jilbaabs) close upon themselves} - used to cover the feet since the socks that are widespread nowadays among both women and men were not widespread at that time. The woman used to cover her shins and feet with the long jilbaab that resembles the abaayah. Therefore it is not permissible for a Muslim woman to uncover her feet while she is on the street, and it is even more impermissible for her to pray with her feet uncovered."

Colourful Hijaabs?.. Not if they cause you to stand out
Question: The Jilbaab of the Muslim woman must it be specifically be black or can it be of other colours?
Answer: The clothing of the Muslim woman is not restricted to being black, and it is permissible for her to wear any colour of clothing so long as it covers her awrah (that part of the body which should be covered according to the shareeah), does not cause resemblance of men, is not close-fitting such that it delineates the shape of her body, is not thin and transparent such that is reveals what is underneath it, and does not provoke fitnah (temptation).
Abdul- Azeez ibn Abdullaah ibn Baaz Abdurrazzaaq Afeefee Abdullaah ibn Ghudayaan Abdullaah ibn Quood [1/5089 p181 vol 18 - The Hijaab and clothing of women from Fataawaa Al-Lajnat-id-Daaimati lil-Buhooth-il-Ilmiyyati wal-Iftaa]
Shaikh Ubayd al-Jaabiree
Question: I have read some narrations concerning the Mothers of the Believers that they used to wear hijaabs and jilbaabs that were coloured red and yellow, so is it permissible for me to wear those colours?
Answer: O my daughter, these colours that were worn by those women at that time were colours that were known and that they were acquainted with during that time, and the intent behind that which is mentioned in these narrations is not colours that turn ones attention, but indeed it is the likes of red or black, or for example a mixture or combination of red, black and green. So do not envision that the Mothers of the Believers and their sisters from amongst the Companions or the Taabiiyaat used to wear Jilbaabs or Khimars so as to turn the attention of unrelated men towards them.
[Answered by Sh Ubayd in Madeenat-ul-Munawwarah on 14th May 2007. Based on translation by Aboo Hakeem]

Sisters attend Eid Prayer but wear Proper Hijaab/Jilbaab
Shaykh ‘Abdul-‘Aziz ibn ‘Abdullah ibn Baaz (رحمه الله تعالى ورحمة واسعة) said:
"...It is authentically reported that when the Prophet (ﷺ) asked women to attend Salat-ul-’Eid (the Festival Prayer), they said, "O Messenger of Allah! One of us might not have a Jilbab (loose outer garment with no front opening)." He (ﷺ) said, "Let her sister give her one of her Jilbabs to wear." Related by Al-BukharI and Muslim.
It can be deduced from this Hadith that the women of Sahabah (Companions of the Prophet) used to wear Jilbabs when going out. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) did not allow them to go out without a Jilbab, in order to block the means leading to Fitnah, protect them from corruption and purify the hearts of the people, although they lived in the best of centuries, and the men and women were honorable Mu'mins (believers). ..."

POISON THAT KILLS MEN
Once upon a time, a beautiful girl got tired of her marriage life and wanted to murder her spouse.
One morning she ran to her mother and say to her " mother, I am tired of my husband I can no longer support his nonsense. I want to kill him but I am afraid Law of the land will hold me responsible, can you please help me mother?"
The mother answered:
- Yes my daughter I can help you, but, there is a little task attached.
The daughter asked "what task? I am willing and ready to assume any task attached in order to get him out"
OK, said the mother,
1..You will have to make peace with him, so that no one will suspect you when he is dead.
2.. You will have to beautify yourself in order to look young and attractive to him.
3.. You have to take good care of him and be very nice and appreciative to him.
4.. You have to be patient, loving and less jealous, have more listening ears, be more respectful and obedient.
5. Spend your money on him and don’t get angry even when he refuses to give you money for whatever.
6. Don’t raise your voice against him but encourage Peace and love so that you will never be suspected when he must have died.
Can you do all of that?
Asked the mother.
Yes i can. She replied.
OK, said the mother.
Take this powder and pour a bit in his every day meal, it will slowly kill him.
After 30 days the lady came back to her mother and said.
Mother, I have no intention of killing my husband again. As of now I have grown to love him because he has completely changed, he is now a very sweet husband than I ever imagined.
What can i do to stop the poison from killing him?
Please help me mother.
She pleaded in a sorrowful tone.
The mother answered;
Do not worry my daughter. What I gave you the other day was just Tumeric Powder. It will never kill him.
In reality, you were the poison that was slowly killing your husband with tension and dispassion.
It was when you started loving, honouring and cherishing him that you saw him change to a nice and sweet husband.
Men are not really wicked, but our way of relating with them determines their responses and feelings towards us.
Women if you can only show respect, dedication, love, care and commitment to your husband he will 100% be there for you.
If you are touched by these words kindly share ❤

The Best Place for the Woman Is Her Home
Qays reported that the wife of ʿAbd Allah b. Masʿūd (may Allah be pleased with them both) said to him: “Will you not get me a jilbāb?” He replied: “Sufficient for you is the jilbāb that Allah the Mighty and Majestic has covered you with: your house.”

I feel terrible for it because I know they’re mostly or probably harmless but if someone comes up to me, particularly someone who seems a little louder or not quite all there, and TOUCHES me all thoughts of actually conversing or talking to or helping that person goes right out my head
It’s not that I’m unkind it’s that I realise in that moment how deeply discomforting it is for someone to touch me without me being aware of them, let alone a stranger
And I feel a little bad because I can’t talk or do anything then but I’m not trying to ignore them or be unkind, I’m simply resisting the urge to scream and run.
That happened just now at the bus stop and I automatically walked a bit sways to move away from the woman who then YELLED about me moving away
And not in a cruel way I don’t think she was neurotypical or at least didn’t seem so, but it was deeply unsettling and I couldn’t bring myself to try to speak to her
I feel like this is the sort of situation people typically feel bad for afterwards since I know I do, but I also think it’s equally true and fair that I am upset and disturbed and as long as I don’t react cruelly I’m entitled to that distance and my own problem of wow I just had a boundary crossed and I’m really not okay about that

Al-Albāni on the Niqāb of the Muslim woman, whether it is wājib or not, the permissibility of uncovering her face and hands―and the danger of displaying her beautifications in public.

In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy.  All praise is due to Allah, Lord of all creation, and may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family and all his Companions. The majority of the jurists hold that the ‘awrah of the woman that should be covered in front of non-mahrams is the whole of her body except for her face and hands―meaning that…

Umm ‘Atiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) said:
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) commanded us to bring them (women) out on (Eid) al-Fitr and (Eid) al-Adha, and to bring out adolescent girls, menstruating women and virgins, but the menstruating women were to stay away from the prayer, but were to witness goodness and the gathering of the Muslims. I said: “O Messenger of Allah, what if one of us does not have a jilbaab?” He said: “Let her sister lend her a jilbab.”
