Genuine question: why do you tw for Pentatonix?
(You can DM me the response if it's more comfortable)
...i forgot that was on our official list lol. it's just a trigger/big squick of mine, mod Emri, so i added it fairly early on when iirc i was only mod + despite never needed to tag for it it's apparently still on the list

I finished Partitio's final chapter last night and I'm just here thinking about what it'd be like to be a journalist in that crowd lol
Like. Imagine: You're a reporter in the crowd, eagerly awaiting Roque Brilliante's latest announcement regarding the steam engine, pen and paper in hand. You're on the edge of your seat as he concludes, confident in your scoop
Suddenly, a mysterious man in a yellow coat arrives, waving a check he claims to represent 80 billion leaves from the famous Alrond Rondwell, and he insists on buying the rights to the steam engine. He and Roque start to argue like they've known each other for years, and Roque shoots down the man bcus he doesn't have the cold hard cash to pay with. And wow, you sure weren't expecting drama in your scoop today, but what a headline!
And then *Alrond himself* — who you have probably been trying and failing for ages to get an interview with — just swoops in on his *massive* ship, filled with *80 billion in cash*. He talks about how awesome this man with the yellow coat — apparently named Partitio — is. Then Partitio and Roque sign the contract to hand the rights to the steam engine over to the former. Your headline just got sm better
But then Roque is so mad about losing the rights to the steam engine and is suddenly snarling at you and the other reporters like a wild animal, demanding to leave him alone. And of course you can't do that, you're paparazzi! So you and a whole crowd of other journalists try to follow him. Next thing you know, the wall of the factory is run down by an *enormous train*, driven by *Roque*, and headed *right for you*. What even *is* a train? You don't know! You're running for your life!

gonna keep this in english in case it reaches germany-based users who dont speak german but
i hope everyone is aware of the upcoming 9€ tickets!
these tickets are for public transport (ÖPNV/Nahverkehr -- meaning not applicable to ICE, IC, EC, and the likes) germany-wide and last for one month. since public transport has suffered large losses during the pandemic (boohoo) this will be a trial run for the months of june, july, and august, to make people use busses and trams again. with how ridiculously expensive our public transport system is normally, hopefully if enough people use these 9€ tickets during these three months we can make an argument for cheaper prices overall.
these should be available in whatever ticket app you use! you don’t need to meet any requirements to get these. just remember you pay €9 for one month, not all three
source (german) (you can pretty much just google this though)

I'm tired of depression in media being portrayed as almost exclusively "character has lost a loved one so now they don't mind if they die" so here are concepts i find more interesting, either based on characters i ran into that ppl seem to not realize are depressed or based on real people i know
i mentioned it before, but a character being so utterly and painfully bored with everything and everyone. they do risky things or put others in danger just to see if it'll make them feel something
ambition as a cause for despair. a character so terrified of not achieving their goals it makes them feel like their effort is pointless, sending them into a depressed state (common trope i do see with this concept is a character working too hard to the point of self harm for example)
a more general version of this^, passion as a cause for despair. for example, caring so much about other people that they can't bear to see bad things happen, so they want to die just to escape it
character surrounded by people who love them, in an environment that by all means is designed to help them grow, but they simply can't love or care about anyone or anything around them enough to want to stay alive
character who survives a near death experience but firmly believes this was a mistake and they should've died (NOT survivor's guilt as in someone else did die!!! i mean an experience involving just them)
just the first few ideas that came to my mind. might add more in a reblog later, and ofc you're welcomed to add your own! uwu

seeing as december's a day away and that means ~holiday season~- i have a bunch of old binders of various makes & sizes (some idk origin, a few gc2b, anywhere from XS to L?, diff colours/types) that i wld love to give to ppl who need them. i can update this l8r with more details but ig i was wondering if anyone wld be interested or knows anyone in need? id be willing to ship within canada, maybe to the USA for small enough pckg. otherwise i'll just donate to a local binder exchange but i figured this way if anyone is in particular need it's nice to know im directly helping ig!
i also have some rolls of biege kinesiology tape if that's of interest either in itself or in addition.
peace n love on planet earth
