As parents, there was no such thing as having a favorite child.
Humans knew it.
Na’vi knew it.
Jake knew it too.
But that didn’t stop the fact that he did have moments of favoring you over his other children.
How couldn’t he?
You. His first child was born into his new world. His first sign of a fresh, beautiful start. His firstborn. His first little flower.
Eywa must have thought him worthy enough to bless him with a child that was a scarily accurate mix of both him and Neytiri, although there were moments where Jake swore Tommy’s face had shone through. Like how your eyes would shine up at the prospect of learning something new, something hidden. The inner science nerd in you wanting to find out more.
You were also a fighter. One of the more anticipated young warriors of the Omatikaya clan - whispers of the elders following you with praises of being a worthy daughter of Toruk Makto.
And Jaked hated that word. ‘Worthy.’
None of his children had to be worth anything to be considered his own. They were a result of his and Neytiri’s love, and that was all that mattered to them.
Yet being Toruk Makto had put a heavy burden upon his eldest children without him having a say in it. You made sure to take most of the responsibility of being the oldest, yet a lot also fell to Neteyam being the oldest son. Jake tried his damn best to be a fair dad. An equal dad. But when he had been gifted kids such as Lo’ak, Jake was certain it was Eywa’s way to even the odds of calmness and serenity in their growing family.
You and Neteyam had been the dream babies. Calm and demure, who were easy to handle and feed. Kiri had been a little bit fussier when joining the family, but nothing they couldn’t handle.
But Lo’ak?
Damn, he had been the true nightmare for all parents. He came screaming into the world and was now walking through it with the word ‘troublemaker’ ingrained in his DNA.
And Jake wouldn’t change it for the world.
Although you, his oldest baby girl at now sixteen years old, would always have a special place in his heart no matter how many muttered scoldings he had with himself of not having favorites. You were starting to mature a bit too quickly to his liking, shedding away the last layers of your baby fat and awkward limbs, growing into the beginnings of a beautiful, young Na’vi woman.
You reminded him of Neytiri, just a few years younger and more outspoken, mixed with his crude earth humor and language.
Yeah. His mate had not been happy with that development.
Though he had managed to blame Norm and Max the first time you had accidentally let an f-bomb slip at the age of nine.
And then there were times like now, where his anger was boiling over and coiling together with the fearful worry in his gut after seeing his two idiotic sons on the ground of the raid, and not in the sky, where they were supposed to be.
‘Dad, it was my fault. I should have been more alert of their positions.’
They all knew it wasn’t your fault. But that was what you did. Take the blame with your shoulders high, and face unchanging.
‘Y/N, you-’ your name came out in a slightly agitated growl from Jake, but the relentless gaze in your eyes stopped him from taking it further.
“Just go get patched up - you stay,” the last part had been directed at his youngest son, as Lo’ak swallowed nervously. Although Jake could see you hovering behind the others before deciding to ignore his orders and remain only a few feet away.
Fearless, he thought to himself annoyed, just like your mother. That was the difference between you and your younger brother. Where Lo’ak was a troublemaker and reckless out of sheer curiosity and innocent spontaneous decisions, his stubbornness was not intended. Your stubbornness was the opposite, all willful and directed at him with a purpose that tired him out endlessly.
As he finished up scolding and grounding the stupidity incarnate that was his son, Jake didn’t miss as you walked up to him and shared some low whispers enough to make the frown on Lo’ak ease up slightly, tail giving away his better mood as he went on to tend to the ikrans.
You caught up to your dad easily enough, not saying a word and only accompanying him towards the tent of your grandmother despite the simmering anger still apparent in him.
Your younger brothers didn’t fear him, rather their respect for him was so immensely high that it automatically made them want to earn his approval in every single way, including following his orders like perfect soldiers. Or at least Neteyam did. Lo’ak, although holding that same respect was more prone to follow his own spontaneous choices.
There was a difference between you and them.
You respected your father. Of course, you did. But you also refused to become one of his soldiers because you knew better. You were not afraid to speak up against the mighty voice of Toruk Makto when you could see the faults in his choices, an ability that your mother had as well. That included many moments of unfair scoldings towards your brothers.
But he hadn’t always been this way. Your dad was carefree before the sky people came back to Pandora and declared war on your people. He had been affectionate, patient, and funny, even. You had been old enough to understand that by the return of the humans, Jake Sully had been forced to come back into his past military persona, showcasing a side that none of his children had ever been exposed to before - but were forced to adapt to with war right at their feet.
“Dad-”
“I am sick and tired of you taking the blame every time your siblings do something out of their own making!” His outburst was full of anger and frustration, and although his volume wasn’t loud, they were spat with a harshness that would usually send most people cowering away from the Olo'eyktan.
You, however, stood firm in your place. Chin raised and spine straight, waiting for the harsh breaths of your father to subside before putting in your own two cents.
“As the oldest sibling we expect you to be responsible in your choices, and as a good role model that includes knowing who’s at fault and taking the right responsibility.”
His stare was basically penetrating you. The yellow, intense eyes which were smaller than that of true Na’vi’s turned more intimidating when narrowed.
He was waiting, you realized. For you to soak in his words.
“Can I talk now?” You finally spoke, careful yet not meek.
At the incline of his head, you let your own drop slightly before letting out a sigh.
“I am really sorry, dad, ‘Teyam didn’t do anything wrong, he was just trying to stop him. And Lo’ak just wanted to make you proud, even though it was a stupid way of doing it,” you knew the way to soften his heart as his shoulders got less tense by your words. “I know you want them to take responsibility, but as you said; I’m their older sister. Is it that terrible for me to stand for them? If I can’t protect them from the sky demons directly, the least I can do is shield them a bit when they choose to do stupid things.”
Jake’s heart was constricting, memories of a past life flashing before his eyes followed by his feelings of regret and the old grief wanting to claw its way back out.
It was as if Tommy was speaking directly to him. His brother had always been the more caring sibling when they were young. Acting as the older one, despite being twins. Taking the fall for Jake’s younger self's mistakes and being the meditator despite his own harsh words of not needing help being spat in return as a show of gratitude.
The mighty Toruk Makto didn’t know if he was being punished for his past sins, or rewarded by basically getting Tommy’s personality reincarnated in you.
The anger melted away in seconds as Jake found himself simply staring at his oldest baby girl. You had a gift for softening him up in seconds, different from Tuk’s childish innocence and Kiri’s witty comebacks.
“Come here.”
Without hesitation, you stepped into his open arms and sank into his warm embrace as your dad kissed the top of your head affectionately.
“I take it you're not mad anymore?” You mumbled with a slight smile, as you felt him huff.
“Oh, I am still frustrated, flower. But you made a really good case for yourself, so how can I?”
You realized how long it’s been since your dad had actually hugged you like this. All warm, gentle affection. The last year has been hell on earth for your family, snuffing out most of the moments when the family used to cuddle together at night with laughter and sparkling eyes as your parents told stories of their past before Pandora was ruined by the sky people.
As the oldest, you had easily handed over most of the affectionate moments for Tuk to have, being only a child and needing that contact. You had convinced yourself that you were now old enough to not rely on the hugs and kisses of your parents to get through a harsh day.
You had clearly underestimated the hugs of your dad, as you gripped him tighter around the waist and nuzzled your face closer against his chest - not wanting to let go and return to the rest of the family just yet.
Jake noticed this easily. “You okay there, flower?” he murmured softly, not letting go.
“Yeah…” was your muffled reply. “Just…missed this, I guess.” Although honest, the tips of your ears turned slightly red in embarrassment.
“I suppose it’s been a while since I’ve given my oldest baby some cuddles, huh?”
“Daad,” you couldn’t help but whine, glancing up to see his familiar mischievous smirk from when he used to tease you all the time. “I’m way too old for that.”
His narrowed in a mock glare as you let out a startled squeak as his fingers suddenly tickled your sides as you tried to jump away, but he was quicker in holding you back and continuing his attack, prompting peals of laughter to fall from your lips.
The tickle attack didn’t last long fortunately before he was stepping back with a fond smile and looked you over with his larger hands cupping your face and pressing a soft kiss against your forehead.
“I love you, flower.”
“I love you too, dad.”
Jake didn’t have a favorite child.
But sometimes he couldn’t help but cherish you a little more when it was needed.

summary: kiri is your best friend. but despite that, you still can't seem to stay away from her dad. he's just too irresistible.
˙ ❥˙
You slowly step into Jake's hut, a sad sigh coming out of you with a frown across your face. You make your way to his cot and climb onto his lap, straddling him caressing his face. "Oh, Jake.. I missed you so much baby..." Jake wakes up as soon as he feels your body above him, sitting up straight in his cot and looking at you with a concerned expression. "Hey, what's wrong? What's goin' on, y/n?" He speaks in a worried but soft tone, cupping your cheek.
You close your eyes at his gentle touch, heart warming at his supple concern. "I just missed you. I-I'm sorry for showing up like this.." You frown at him, adjusting yourself on his lap. Jake's eyes soften as you explain and pulls you into a tight hug. He speaks calmly and soothingly. "Oh, baby girl.. it's okay. I'm here now." He rubs your back and plants a tiny kiss on your forehead.
You smile, tilting your head and planting a kiss on his forehead too. You can tell that he feels conflicted about you showing up unannounced, you were just lucky that Neytiri was out hunting late. "Don't worry.. nobody saw me come here." You place your hands on his chest, massaging it up and down. You lean back a bit and start to grind your hips on him, Jake chuckles and nods at your point. "Oh, I get it." He says in a playful and affectionate manner. He feels a buldge start to grow in his loincloth. "Alright, I know what's on your mind. I can't say no to you, can I?" Jake smirks at you, grinding his hips into yours as he grips your plush thighs.
"Mhm... I'm so glad you understand daddy." You giggle and come closer to his face, licking your lips and giving him a passionate kiss. You start rolling your hips on him again, feeling his slight thrusts meet yours. Your hands are now rubbing down his body. Feeling on his muscley arms and large shoulders.
He grins while watching you take the initiative. As you kiss him, he wraps his arms around you, holding your body closely as he gives into the kiss. You bring your hand down to his loincloth, tugging on it and signaling for him to take it off. He sighs and pulls away from you. "Use your words, girl." He says in a demanding tone. "Ughhh, don't make me say it—" You start to whine but Jake stops you before you can say anything else. He firmly grabs your chin, squeezing it and positioning your ear to his mouth. "Don't be a bad girl.." He whispers in a seductive, melodic tone. His low voice sounded like paradise. "Y-Yes Jake.." You reply and he lets go of your chin. "Tell me what you want."
"I-I want your cock, sir." You admit. A flush wave of nervousness filled your body, his dominance turned you on so much, and it made it even hotter knowing how wrong it was. "Good girl, baby.." As he hears your subtle words, he unties his loincloth. His cock springs out. Purple veins pulsating as precum oozes out of his tip. "Fuck.." You say under your breath as you hurriedly take your loincloth off as well, untying it from around your perked up tail.
You quickly bring your hand to your mouth and spit on it to create lube. You rub your wet hand on your cunt and look look down at Jake's member, watching as it grew harder. "Oh fuck Jake.. how are you this hard?" You speak, holding his cock and rubbing it against your clit. "..must've missed me, hm?"
Jake lets out a breathy chuckle. "I may have missed you a little bit.." He responds. "A little bit? Your dick says otherwise.." You lift your hips, slowly lining yourself on his cock and prepping your body. Jake grows impatient. He groans, and holds onto your waist. "I'm sorry baby" He says before pushing your body down, forcing you to take his cock whole "Oww! F-fuuucckk!!!" You wince out in pain, leaning your head back as the pain from his cock fills the lower part of your womb.
"Oh, I..' Jake lets out a breathy moan, feeling your tight walls close in on him. A whimper filled with pain comes from you. "Hmh.. is it hurting you?" He teases, slightly lifting his hips up to brush against your cervix. "I-I'm fine,- Mmph!" You let out a staggered moan as the pain begins to fade away. You grind up on him, feeling the pleasure start to build. "I just don't want this to e-end. F-fuck! Who knows when we'll be able to do this again?"
"Yeah.. you're right. We should make every moment count while we can." Jake breathes out. As you bounce faster, he places his hand on your breasts, moaning as his cock hits sweet spot. "You're a slut who likes fucking your best friend's dad, aren't you? Hm? Say it, bitch."
He kisses your neck, sucking and chewing on your deep blue skin. "I-I'm a sl-ut! Oh my- Uh! You feel so good, s-sir!" You follow his orders, eyes rolling back at the amount of pleasure you're in. Whimpers and breathless moans escape your mouth. "Yeah... That's right dirty girl." His hunger grows for you, cock throbbing inside of you and inching towards release. Jake cups your mouth after hearing how loud your whines are getting, muffling your mouth to hide the noises. "Keep your mouth shut. Don't say a fucking word."
"Ah.. haah, I'm gonna.. cum! Ohhh fuck daddy!" You speak through his palm. He makes eye contact with you as your body subconsciously grinds, desperately craving more friction before cumming. "Are you close Jake? Pleeaase.. I need your cum inside of me.." You lean down and attack his neck with kisses, leaving a trail of purple hickies. Jake gives you a deep stare. He pulls you back by your neck, squeezing your airways and forcing you to look into his eyes. "Never been closer baby.." He softly moans and focuses on on his thrusts. Fast paced, but still deep and sensual.
"J-Jake I'm cumming!" You moan louder, arms coming down on his chest as you makes eye contact with him, griding desperately, craving more friction before your release. "Yeah, that's right! Cum for me, let it all out." He smacks your ass and you immediately squirt on his cock. Your slick dripping onto his tummy and thighs. You let out a relived moan, bowing your head down and sighing. "Oh, no. No no no, we're not done here. Not until I fucking say so." Before you can respond, Jake lifts your body up and slams your back onto the cot. You gasp, pupils widening at his actions. He pumps his cock a few times before aligning it with your soaking pussy.
"Jake, I just came.. please, I'm s-still sensitive." You plead with him, but he gives you another cold look. "You think I care about that? This pussy is mine, belongs to me.. I use it when I want to. Got it?" And with that, he thrusts his dick inside of you. Bottoming out and groaning as your velvety walls adjust to his length. "M-mhm!" Your moans get caught in your throat, resulting in staggered whimpers and incoherent words. Jake chuckles at the sight and begins to move, looking down at how easily his cock disappears inside of you.
He comes down to your ear and whispers. "You want me to cum inside you? Huh? Fill this perfect little cunt with my seed? Knock you up like the little slut you are?" He grunts while the build up in his stomach grows, feeling how close to the edge he is "Y-Yes! Yes, Jake! F-fuck!!" Your body shakes as you cream on his cock. His cock twitches inside of you and a spurt of warm cum flows inside of you. A soft gasp escapes your mouth as you cling onto him. "Oh great mother..!" You moan out one last time before your body becomes limp under his.
Tumblr media
Jake bows his head down, still breathless. He wipes the sweat from your forehead and slides out of your cunt, laying his body next to you. "Did I do good daddy?" You ask, facing your body to him. He nods softly, still slightly panting. "You did more than good, y/n. You were perfect." His praise instantly makes your heart flutter, you smile while sitting up and tying your hair into a ponytail. "Thank you.." You give peppered kisses along his jawline, meeting his intimidating gaze.
"C'mon, kid. We gotta get you cleaned up before the sun rises." You stand up from the cot, bending down to pick up your loincloth and slipping it back on. You nod in annoyance as he sits up on the cot and looks at you with a warm expression on his face. "Yeah, yeah.." You hated how to always had to leave after sharing such an intimate moment.
Jake grabs your arm, stopping your hand from tying the cloth around your tail, you look at him in confusion. "I would keep you here all night if I could, you know that? I just- You know how it is, with Kiri and everyone else.." He explains with a hint of sympathy in his tone.
You playfully rolls your eyes as you finish tying your loincloth. "I know, I wish I could stay with you too.. " You sigh and plant a quick but meaningful kiss on his lips and ruffle his hair. He chuckles at your response and smiles more at the kiss that you give him. "Hey.. I'm glad to be yours, just as much as you're glad to be mine. I promise we'll have more nights like this, okay? "I promise."
"Okay.. A promise is a promise, don't forget that." You respond, kissing him one last time before walking toward the door. "Goodnight, Jake.. I'll see you again soon." You wave your hand, dipping your head and walking under the curtained door, hips swaying as you walk away.
"Goodnight y/n, and be safe. See you in the morning, beautiful." Jake's eyes watch you as you walk, and he can't help but admire you. He hates to see you leave, but loves to see you walk away. Letting out a deep breath, he lays back in his cot and closes his eyes, drifting off to sleep.

You Always Make Things Better
Jake’s favorite days were the days he had off from his Olo’eyktan duties. Some days he would go off with Neytiri and just run around the forest not paying attention to anything else besides the thrill of his freedom from daily tasks.
The best days, however, were when he would get to spend time with his kids. Doing anything with them was so special, and could immediately make him feel better on a bad day. He loved being with them, even if he was just watching over them while they played amongst each other.
Today was one of those days, and he watched as Kiri was chased by Spider and Lo’ak across the stream, while Neteyam played by himself off to the side, building a little house with sticks.
Someone was missing though, you, little (Y/n).
You weren’t in on the action or helping Neteyam which is where you would usually be, but instead you sat across the stream with your knees pulled up to your chest. You were obviously upset and it pulled on Jake’s heartstrings as he watched you sulk.
He had to do something, so he got up, crossing the stream over to you. You looked up at him when he stood over you, but you didn't do anything else.
He sat next to you, “You okay, kiddo?”
You huffed, just making an unpleasant noise, so he asked another question, “Are you having big feelings?”
As a response to him you just nodded your head, not saying anything. Now that Jake was closer he could see the look on your face better, and he knew that face, you were angry.
Even though he knew how you were feeling, he and Neytiri were trying to let you and your siblings express yourselves, to communicate what you were feeling instead of them assuming, “Okay so what are you feeling?”
If smoke could come out of your ears it would be, and you scrunched up your face before yelling at him, “I’m angry!”
Jake kept a calm demeanor about him, being mad at her for yelling at him wouldn’t help them work through how she was feeling, “About what?”
You frowned, crossing your arms over your chest, and looking over to your siblings playing, “Lo’ak! He stole my toy…”
Jake looked over to where you were watching Lo’ak chasing Kiri, an ikran toy held in his hand, “Alright, let's talk about it then.”
You shook your little head in resistance, “I don’t want to talk about it.”
Jake sighed, trying to reason with you, “But we need to talk about it.”
You shook your head again, flailing your arms this time, “No!”
Jake thought about what he could do to solve the situation, “Okay… I can get you a new toy if you’d like.”
You were growing visibly frustrated now, your anger not simmering down with it, “No, I want that one.”
Jake hummed, “Let's ask Lo’ak for it then. Explain how he made you feel.” when you continued to sit there and look at him he gently pushed your shoulder, “Go ask, then tell me what happens.”
You sighed, loudly, dramatically, “Okay daddy.”
You stalked over towards Lo’ak, shouting for him to stop and come talk to you. He obliged, stopping his chase on Kiri, while her and Spider continued without him.
Jake couldn’t hear what you were saying from where he was, but as you spoke your face started to become happier, a smile on it now. Lo’ak nodded his head, yes, every once in a while, and responded verbally when you would give him a chance, and soon enough the toy was back in your hands.
You rushed back to your dad, a wide smile on your face, “He gave it back!”
Jake couldn’t hold back his smile as he patted you on the head, “Good. Now go play.”
“I’m gonna help Neteyam with his house!” You proudly informed your father of your plan.
He laughed, “I’m sure he would love help. Make sure you don’t knock it down though.”
You were turned away from him, about to run off, but before you did you turned back around and gave him a hug, “Thanks daddy, you always make things better!”

deserving child | dad!jake x daughter!reader
Sypnosis; Whatever had your father done before you were born had nothing to do with you today, but Quaritch didn't care. Children or not, you were Jake's.
Contents; angst little comfort, typical avatar violence, drabble? extreme depictions of gore?? Jake's pov, no use of y/n,
Dictionary; sempul - dad/daddy, sa'nok - mother, tsurak - skimwing, kuru - queue, uturu - sanctuary
A/N; I hate this but anyway
Tumblr media
Jake Sully. Failed life on Earth, dead brother. Paralyzed from the waist down, out of service. Sent to replace his brother on a military mission, Pandora. Falling for the forrest, the culture, the people... Neytiri. Even though he had taken everything from her, her sister, her father, her ikran, her people... Neytiri had faith. She fought with him. His beautiful mate... His children. His firstborn son, Neteyam, and his twin, you. Oh, how life had betrayed him. Or had he betrayed life? After all, he betrayed an entire race. Was it unfair? Had he done the good thing, or was he selfish?
Jake still remembers a quote from the Bible he had read years before his 20th birthday. Before his brother was killed on the field.
"For am I seeking the approval of man or of God? And if I am seeking the approval of man, will I still be a servant of grace?"
As Jake sat still onto the back of his tamed tsurak within the seas of the reefs, hundreds of vengeful Na'vi in the same position behind him, he thought back to fifteen years ago. He could've left with Quaritch. Be could've surrendered. Saved thousands of innocent lives and give his own. But he didn't. He chose to stay and fight, but for what?
He could clearly see your distressed faces kneeling and facing him on the Demon Ship. Quaritch and his men held you and your siblings tighly in place and the gun pressed to your temple that digged into your skin harshly.
Jake chose to stay and fight. It brought him here. His children about to get executed right in front of his helpless eyes, unable to do anything but to weep to himself like a coward.
The sound of Neytiri's distressed pleas in his ears made them ring, but he couldn't hear a single word.
Jake could see in his head the faded image of your brains splattered onto the pavement of the ship and for a brief moment he pondered if this was all a dream. It wasn't, however, you were still alive. The choice was his, he knew it well. Would Neytiri even forgive him? Would you? Would Tuk be able to pass her own Iknimaya without her father?
The freezing cold metal pressed firmly against the side of your head burned like dry ice. You had seen your father use similar machinery on the field, but you had never seen it be pointed at someone else. Even less had you thought you'd be the one in this kind of situation. Quaritch had your kuru thigh in his unoccupied hand, pulling whenever your kneeling stance faltered. You could see the outline of Jake, Ronal and Tonowari from your place on the ship and the way your father's eyes drifted from you and your siblings to his weapon. Was he really considering letting himself get captured for you?
Whatever Jake was thinking was passing fast. He had no plan and you knew it. The simple look of despair on Tonowari's face told you everything. You knew not to scream out because the Avatar had warned you when your brother tried.
"One noise and I'll shoot ya', kid."
Kid. You were just a kid. Your brother and sister were just kids. And Jake stared at you like it would be the last time he'd ever do. It was ironic, really. You came to Awa'atlu seeking uturu and had to end up murdering the entirety of its residents.
Jake felt the cold breeze against his damp skin, the breathlessness of Ronal on his right. His children are about to die. You, their big sister, dying to protect them. His babygirl. The one that lit up his life when he felt he was no Olo'eyktan, no Toruk Makto.
Right. Toruk Makto. Jake is Toruk Makto. The sixth rider of Last Shadow, the one who brought the clans victory against the Sky People. He killed Quaritch once. Can he really do it twice?
It's strange to think about it now, but in this situation he wishes he was more of a father and less of a marine. Lo'ak would never forgive him. The way he treated his children like soldiers... The pain he brought upon Neytiri and the people.
Quaritch's voice brings him back.
"Clock's ticking, colonel. What's it gonna be?"
The hand that rested on his gun lowered and Jake instructed his tsurak to swim forward slowly. He doesn't want to die, but he was ready to give his life up for you.
Quaritch did too.
Payakan thought otherwise. The large beast had felt Lo'ak's anger throughout their bond. Payakan had forgotten all about friendship, but Lo'ak had brought him a sense of serenity he had just about never felt before. Seeing red as he threw itself onto the ship, Jake saw the opportunity.

should I do a part two? seems opportunistic tbh

spider " hello kiri and lo'ak"
y/n " clam down both of you and let him collect himself and speak"
neytiri " it seems like we have missed a wonderful moment and you have a mighty ikran"
spider " thank you aunt neytiri"
Tsu'tey " you all most tell us what we have missed when we were gone"
y/n " sure"
mo'at " today bring good news to the clan as we are all back together and now spider can walk among us" Everyone was happy to finally be reunited with each other, the metkayan clan had become happy to have the avatars and humans with them. The time being apart in the forest was over but that didnt mean the fight was over, with the RDA the war was still on but now they will fight together and not apart.

What if…? (Sully family x reader)
As you know I made ‘the chore’ and ‘once innocent’ series, which I suggest you read first! This is story however is What if…? Y/n never made it out alive. What would Tuk do? How would Neytiri and Jake feel if they knew their daughter was gone for good?…ENJOY! 💞
My name is y/n, like goddess of the moon! I was 14 years old when I was murdered…..on a day only meant for spotting.
As I watched my father not hesitate to leave me, regardless of loak's words telling him I was hit as well….I could feel my own body start to give up on me too.
I tried so hard to push through, the burning in my heart hurt. The longer I stayed here the more I'm in risk of being hit. As I was getting up, I was hit with a gunshot right through my arm and somewhere else but I couldn’t even tell…I was losing blood quick. It gave me the push to jump on my ikran…..adrenaline was fully taking over. It could only last for so long, I'm not going to see Tuk anymore if I don't make it to Tsahik.
I was so tired, my body felt so heavy, I was losing control of my ikran... tried getting closer to the ground before I took a drop.
My body was numb...I couldn't feel anything below my chest. However I couldn't ignore the fact that an old piece of a broken plane was piercing through my stomach. I began screaming out for help…hoping someone would listen to me for once…no one can hear me.
Coughing out blood.
Last breath coming out.
Burning in my lungs.
Internally bleeding.
“h-Help! Please! N-no..”
I tried shaking away the tiredness but my eyes were getting heavier…
I was bleeding out and I died in a puddle of my own blood.
*
I know dad was upset at Lo'ak and Neteyam for not following rules but Y/n was nowhere to be found... where was Y/n?
After dad stopped yelling at my brothers I rushed in to ask him about Y/n.
"She's fine Tuk. She'll come soon." He gave me a reassuring smile and pat making me fully satisfied in his words. Maybe y/n was just cooling off ?
Eclipse came in and Y/n still wasn't home. When I had mentioned it to father he only said “She has extra duties tonight. Y/n needs to put her part in Tuk.” I sigh and walked away…something’s wrong.
When I woke up and no one was there…my heart dropped. Where’s Y/n?
I rushed around the village looking for Kiri.
“Kiri! Kiri! Something is wrong! Y/n is gone! She hasn’t returned since the war. Please come with me sister just to check around!”
Kiri looked at her grandmother with slight concern as her grandmother’s eyes showed complete worry.
“I will be back grandmother.”
Kiri left with Tuk and they had been searching for three hours.
“Ok…maybe Y/n just needed some time to herself Tuk?” It was clearly evident that Kiri was growing impatient.
“No! She would never leave without taking me or telling me.”
I turned away thinking of something to do next to find Y/n until I heard her words.
‘I want you to meet a couple of good warriors. Remember my friend Rey’akana? Well the people I’m going to have you meet are warriors he worked with that are just as strong!…if I’m not there for you when something is happening you go to them immediately Tuk.’
“…I know someone who can help, follow me!”
I rushed Kiri to come with me to the group of warriors that were relaxing after returning from war, I started speaking to Rey’akana’s old partner…explaining what was going on.
“…i don’t know but something happened! It’s not like Y/n to leave without me or not tell me. Please help me search for her.”
The group of warriors didn’t protest and followed Tuk’s order.
Kiri was pulled in another direction by Tuk as they searched for Y/n…following Evung (Rey’akana’s old partner)
Tension was high, I still had a sick feeling in my stomach. Maybe i was hungry..? Y/n wasn’t here to make any breakfast …I could sure go for her small lunch meals she makes for late work right now. My mind was stopped when I had spotted something from a far.
“I think I got something! Follow me!”
Both of them followed me as I rushed in turning the corner stopping when I saw a navi…dead from afar. There was so much blood I couldn’t unsee it.
I begin tearing up before Evung puts me to a stop.
“Close your eyes. Both of you.”
However I couldn’t turn away…no amount of training could’ve prepared Evung to not show any emotion staring at the navi. He seemed so torn about it…I couldn’t take enough of this so I pulled onto the hand Kiri was holding to rush to the navi…scared it’d confirm my fears.
“No! No- not Y/n!” Kiri dropped to her knees right next to screaming Tuk. The healer had to watch the young girl scream the most painful cries she’s ever heard. Kiri couldn’t even process it, her sister was laying before her with her entire lower half of her body practically shredded.
With the way Tuk cried…she was taking an angel by her wings and begging for everything. “y/n please no! Stay one more day please….I heard you..call for help I-I heard your S.O.S…I sent out an army to find you, just like you said Y/n. I’m so sorry.”
I looked down to me being covered in my own sisters blood…there was no way to describe the damage done to her body, I bet she was so numb she didn’t even feel how much she truly went through. Just had to sit in pain, like always. She had a gash on her side and arm…bullet wound on her arm, she had old pieces of some plane buried deep into her….her head was bleeding from the inside out, and then there was a gun shot piercing through her…chest.
“I-I’ll keep my promise Y/n! I’ll live, that’s my job now.”
Evung couldn’t believe what he was seeing Y/n was truly raised by Rey’akana. She spoke his words and it broke him even more that Y/n’s story was repeating. He called for the search party to be over and all warriors rushed to where they were told Y/n was , all showing horrific faces when they saw the accident. Some shed tears, and some couldn’t even wrap their head around it.
They pulled her from the pieces that cut deep wounds in her and had a warrior get a cover up, if y/n was going to die like this she at least deserved to have her death private just like Rey’akana’s…
I still had tears in my eyes the whole walk through…In a way Y/n prepared me for her death. Anger was fully taking over, my own father didn’t care about where Y/n was. No one cared to even check. I wanted to bring justice to Y/n, someone or something failed her…she was a strong warrior, this would not happen by coincidence. I asked the warriors to place her body in our home. Y/n never felt at home here but it’s where our memories laid.
Surprisingly everyone was home they were confused when Evung placed Y/n down on the floor paid their respects and left while Kiri was crying. Realization hit mother when she finally stopped looking back and forth and slowly to Y/n taking off her cover up. While dad just went numb seeing Y/n’s destroyed body. My brother just cried and cried beside Kiri. I was so mad, so mad at everyone for failing to realize her absence.
“Bury her, mourn your losses…someone did this and I will not stop until I find out who failed her.” Lo’ak and Neteyam’s eyes go wide as father just looks up with full guilt written all over his face in that spilt second…I knew.
“…what did you do! I know you did something! You killed her didn’t you! Why did you do that?! I needed her!” Father quickly puts his hands up, shaking his head. “Tuk this is not the time-“
“You did it! I know you did! You will not speak at her burial! None of you will! You didn’t even know her.” Neytiri was fully enraged how could Tuk lash out in a moment like this. “Stop it Tuk!”
I was quick to turn to her, hissing. “You will not stop me, I will keep fighting for my sister. None of you even knew she was gone.” Everyone had shock display on their faces…but how could they blame me? I just lost the one person who took care of me…every step of the way. That night I took Y/n’s bed and wrapped clothes, jewelry, hair pieces anything that was her’s in a secured bag, to capture her sweet home scent. I was ready for my speech and I watched how my father turned in bed, guilt was swallowing him.
Jake didn’t cry when Y/n was hurt but now that’s she’s dead it hurt. This time he’s got to know where did Y/n go? She was the daughter he barley got to know but had some strong feeling toward, so strong that he was so frustrated she pulled him in every time he saw her. He wasn’t entirely there…he knew Y/n was hurt but not that badly, he wasn’t able to see with the flames and smoke. He realizes he still shouldn’t have left her. Half of him disappeared with her…he didn’t even know his own daughter, just knew words passing members of the clan would say about you…all good words.
Neytiri mourned her daughter…the daughter that took care of Tuk. Y/n truly was like no other and she was only able to view Y/n from afar. Neytiri’s mother told her about the death Y/n had seen when she was a little girl….even scolded Neytiri for not know where Y/n was or what she was thinking. Neytiri saw how damaged her relationship with her own daughter was, how could she ever go up to Y/n and make it up to her…she just silently watched Y/n from afar, jealous of how certain people knew more about her whereabouts then her own mother. Neytiri did have small memories of young Y/n…y/n never realized how much she saved Neytiri. The little girl brought joy during her younger days when Neytiri was going back to a saddened state about her fathers death. While y/n saved her, Neytiri failed her…she couldn’t stand up for Y/n the way she did for everyone else
… ‘Now you know there was a girl named Y/n Sully. And that she saved me. In every way that a person can be saved….I don’t even have a picture of her. She exists now…only in my memory.’ …
There was something Y/n had that left a mark on everyone…maybe it was the way she expressed her emotions silently, or maybe it was the way she calculated everything…
We had sent Y/n with Eywa. Everyone in the clan mourned her. They knew her as the little joyful girl who ran around teaching and learning. Y/n was so patient she never got frustrated showing people new skills and techniques…she loved sharing things she’s observed. Everyone knew more about Y/n but her own family…everyone in the family except me of course. It was now time to tell everyone stories about Y/n…
“My sister…” I tried to push back tears struggling to talk until the crowd began applauding me, showing signs of comfort.
“Y/n Sully is a strong and gentle soul. She was always thinking about others and always wanted to keep the clan safe. She always kissed me goodnight and good morning…she’d never forget it. I remember one night she left to do extra work around the village but I was in deep sleep, and when I saw her in the morning I was sad and asked her “…no kiss goodnight or good morning’ she only replied with her precious smile and said ‘Sunshine I did kiss you but both times you were asleep and I didn’t want to wake you up!’ … Y/n was working constantly but she always made time to take care of me.
She loved to bead, and she loved putting a smile on everyone’s face. I know that Y/n was very private about our life, but she had a sweet grace about her. Her smile was like a ray of sunshine…. It took up her entire face. Her touch was motherly…” I take a sigh being looking up at the blurry crowd in tears
“Her laugh was infectious, from my understanding everyone in the crowd before me had once been able to hear her pure and genuine laughter…she loved teaching and observing others. Y/n taught me everything. I know that her death wasn’t her fault, I saw how far she got, if she was given enough time she would have made it back home. Y/n knew how to do everything just by watching and observing…that’s how she knew exactly what war felt. Y/n was in war her entire life….Y/n was in tune with her feelings and she wanted the best for me. She always told me how she was excited to finally get promoted to fight along warriors. Y/n was always herself she was a teacher, leader and knew what she wanted.” I wiped my tears watch how the crowds eyes lit up from hearing the stories I had to tell.
“Y/n’s love was beautiful, when she hugged you or said sweet words…you could feel her love, she would pull you in. I miss her sweet kisses, her smart mind, and her beautiful smile and laugh. I miss looking at her beautiful face. She was the most loving sister, and perfect daughter…even if some couldn’t see how perfect she really was.”
I looked up at my parents and turned back, I didn’t care…even if the crowd didn’t notice my wording, my parents for sure did.
“We will not be able to see Y/n finally be a full warrior like she wanted to. She didn’t get the chance to finish teaching me her lessons….I won’t be able to tell her how gorgeous she looks when she finally finds peace, something she was searching for, her whole life. I’ll never get to celebrate her being mated before Eywa, having a final sister dance with her as celebration. Y/n dreamed of having her own family, and she made sure i knew I was considered her first baby. Y/n would have been an amazing mother.”
I begin crying more, telling everyone Y/n’s dream.
“Im so proud of Y/n she made a difference in everyone’s heart. She was so full of life and had so much more to offer this clan. Y/n made it clear to prepare me for anything…it may seem sad but she even prepared me for her death. She had a wise warrior once tell her ‘A guardian who has not prepared their ‘child’ for their own death has failed as a guardian.’ Y/n never failed at anything. I miss you Y/n…all of you. I love you Y/n.” I looked up while everyone had tears in there eyes, I begin parting my ways and dismissed them. Y/n prepared me yes…but I was going to allow myself to mourn fully.
My entire family was defeated. We were under the three of souls…everyone had small old memories of Y/n but I had beautiful memories of every part of Y/n’s life.
*Tuk’s Memory*
I begin tearing up at the idea of seeing Y/n’s sweet face again.
“Y/n!”
There she was turned around surprised and worry showing at the sight of tears that were falling from my eyes.
“Tuk? What happened my love, are you ok sunshine? Who got you upset?”
“I just-I really miss you Y/n…”
Y/n gave me a wide smile with her eyebrows furrowed.
“What do you mean sunshine? I’m fine. I am always here, I’m right with you.”
Her voice was so assuring…so calm.
“I want more time with you Y/n please have Eywa bring you back to me.”
“Tuk, You know I’ll see you again.”
“…what happened that night Y/n? Please tell me”
Y/n face had a horrific expression
“n-no no no you cant ask that y-yet.”
then the lights went out.
!💛!
….are you guys ok? …any thoughts? 💔 there will be a part 2

Protective adoptive dad Jake Sully x oldest sully hybrid fem reader
(reader is omatikaya and metkayina mixed)
When men try and court the reader because of her body (because she has a big chest and butt) so she has to deal with men constantly trying to win her over. One day on the beach a man from the metkayina clan ask if he can court the reader she says no and tries to walk away from him but ends up getting stop by him and starts yelling mean thing about her body saying “men only want u for ur body nothing more nothing less” so she starts to think that it’s true about men only want her for her body but what she didn’t know was that her siblings overheard what the man said and told Jake and his mate about what the man said and Jake finds the reader on the beach to go and talk to her while his mate goes Ronal and tells her when the man said to her daughter and have him punished for what he said to her.
U can write the ending how u want it.
😭😭😭 why so sweet omggggg I love this!!!
This is just a little drabble because I'm not very good at cute family interactions. Blame it on my daddy issues that feel jealous of the reader right about now.
-----
Your tears stream down your face in torrents, your sobs wrecking through you. The sound of your little gasps are so loud that you don't hear Jake approaching.
“Hey,” he says softly, sitting on the beach beside you.
You jerk towards him, surprised at his sudden appearance. “Dad,” you say, sniffing, wiping your face in an attempt to push your tears away.
“What's wrong, sweetie?” he asks even though he already knows.
He can still hear his sons' quick, worried words.
“Sir, sir,” Neteyam called as he ran into the marui. He was breathing heavy and he looked extremely concerned. Lo'ak ran in after him, alarmed.
Jake sprang to his feet. “What happened?”
Between his both sons, they tell him about the issue. Yet another young man had been trying to court you, offering flowers and bracelets and seashells which you kindly declined. But he hadn't been pleased by your reaction, resulting in an outbreak of rage. Jake can't really understand what, exactly, his two sons try to communicate. Between the various insults that they throw at the metkayina man and the way they try to tell him what the young man said, Jake only understands the one sentence the young asshole had said: “You should know that the only reason anyone wants you is your body. Nothing more, nothing else.”
“You wanna tell me what's wrong?” he asks softly.
You shake your head. “'m fine.”
He softly places a hand on your shoulder. “You know you can tell me anything, sweetie.”
You sniffle. “I know. I just—Dad, Roeir said that I...He was offering me seashells and talking to me about my beauty and I knew he was courting me and I-I just didn't want him to, so I said no. And he—” You sob gently, your voice growing quiet and broken as you finish your sentence, “He said that the only reason anyone wants me is because of my body. Nothing more, and nothing less.”
Jake sighs softly as he pulls you in for a hug. “Honey, you are so much more than your body. You're smart and you're kind and you're funny, and you're always willing to help everyone around you. You care about everyone's feelings and you have the need to protect everyone. You're sweet and you're creative and you're determined and you're strong. You're unique, sweetie. You are the most amazing daughter anyone could ask for, and the best sister to all of your siblings, the best friend anyone can have. If Roeir could only see what's on the surface, he's a fucking skxawng, because you're so, so much more than that.”
You let Jake hold you in his arms, the comfort of your father's words and soft hugs making your tears cease.
You stay there for Eywa knows how long, and when you make it back to your marui, you're all calmed down.
Jake makes his way to his mate, Äomta, and tells her about what happened. Äomta is as fierce a mother as she is a warrior, and the slightest of distress from her kids will send her into a frenzy of anger and protectiveness. The very next morning, she makes her way to Ronal's marui, and tells the Tsahik about what happened.
That same day, Tonowari drags Roeir towards you and places him in front of you, smacking him on the head and hissing out, “What do you have to say for yourself?”
The boy looks embarrassed and afraid, and he says, “I'm sorry I said people only want you for your body.”
“The boy is blind,” Ronal says as she walks up to you. “He cannot See, he's been overcome by anger and, therefore, what he said to you yesterday means nothing.”
“Don't ever listen to people who cannot see past appearances, for their hearts and minds are as shallow as their eyesight,” the Tsahik tells you, placing a soft hand on your head. “You are beyond their reach, beyond their understanding, and you are so much more than their opinions.”

Neteyam x female reader! Part 1
In a universe where Spider has an older sister who happens to be on the wrong side.
Neteyam x female reader
Part 2
Characters are both 18
Warning I will use as vague descriptions as I can, however I expect throughout this fic there will be some specific mentions of hair length, body type, height, etc.
I'm new to writing fanfiction so I hope I don't write this horribly. Spider having a sister completely throws off the original plot of the movie so FYI I intend on straying pretty far from the movie as far as the story line goes. If anyone has recommendations for things to include in this fic I would absolutely love to hear them. This will be a slowwwww burn, or at least thats how i'm planning it. I hope at least one person can enjoy this lol, so enjoy!
It was time, The day I would return to the planet I was born on. The day I would return to my brother, my father, my planet. Only it was not a day to celebrate, because I was only returning to destroy it all.
The inside of my cheek was raw, all I could do was gnaw on my own flesh as I waited for my father to be reborn into his new body. I wish I could say I missed him, but it was quite the opposite. He was the last person in the galaxy I wished would have the opportunity to live twice. He died when I was young, I grew into my own without his help. It was a weird feeling to suddenly have a father again. I wanted something to go wrong, maybe who he was before would be lost and he could start fresh. Perhaps our ship would depressurize and we would all die instantly, unfortunately all the hoping and wishing in the world could not prevent the inevitable.
I raised my head at the commotion taking place in the room behind me. He was awake, freaking out at the sudden transition from not existing in any form to now being an avatar. I sighed, glancing backwards, and sure enough, it was my father.
Two days had gone by since we landed back on Pandora, my father was spending his time catching up on everything he had missed over the past 15 years. While I spent my time doing less productive things. My entire life I was trained to be a soldier, to follow in my fathers footsteps. Though I always felt like I was fighting a war that wasn't mine.
I was fortunate enough to also receive my very own avatar, however I wasnt willing to commit suicide in order to be Na’vi permanently. Besides, I always believed that it isn't right to claim a race that isnt my own. The Na’vi people were spiritual, sacred. I may not be able to stop the human race from colonizing their culture, but I could at least not take part. Well not any more than I was forced to.
My thoughts were cut short by a commanding voice through my door.
“Soldier, it's time.” I thought it was funny that my father refused to call me anything but soldier since he's been back. I suppose he missed out on too much to still recognize me as his little girl. I didn't feel a need to respond as I got off my bed, if you could even call it that, opening the door. “Yes sir”
I followed my dad and his team through the forest of Pandora. I had been in my avatar before, countless times actually. It was good for me to train in the same body as the enemy, so I could have even a chance to best them. But nothing could have ever prepared me for the feeling of being Na’vi in the thick of Pandora. In my avatar from all my senses were heightened, and all my physical abilities were multiplied, but getting to use this body in the environment it was originally adapted for is like nothing else I've ever experienced.
I watched from a distance as my squad poked and prodded at my dads final resting place. Funnily enough I remember coming here as a kid, Grace and Jake, I was so young. Now I was meant to kill my childhood companions on sight if given the opportunity. I truly can't understand my dads thirst for murdering Jake Sully and everything he loves. You would think he'd learn to let things go after two decades, but I never knew him to be the forgiving type.
A twig snapped. It was far, but not out of reach for my heightened blue ears. Something about the sound forbade me to let it go. It was so slight and quick that it could have been a hundred different things. Though my heart was telling me something far different.
While the rest of my squad was still distracted, and my father was still caught up examining his own corpse I slipped through the tree line. I was thankful for my experience with the avatar, navigating quickly, and silently through the foliage was much easier for me than any of the other avatars team human still had.
I stopped as soon as I saw them. It was a group of kids, besides one that seemed to be closer to my age, and a human boy. My throat dried as I watched them. My baby brother, it had to be him. “Miles” I whispered to myself. Next my eyes focused on a toddler she looked to be no more than 7. These kids had no idea what the hell they were getting themselves into. How naive could they be, a pit in my stomach grew at the thought of my father finding them.
The anxiety I felt for my brother and his friends swelled in my chest as I looked back over to the abandoned shuttle to see if anyone had noticed my disappearance. I let out a shaky breath in relief seeing that none of their positions had changed. I turned my head towards the Na’vi children, seeing that the eldest had disappeared from the group. My ears lifted as I raised my guard. It could have been in my head, but I didn't feel unseen anymore.
“Take the bow off your back and throw it to the ground.”
My head shot in the direction of the voice. It was the older Na’vi boy. I almost wanted to smile, no one has ever been able to sneak up on me before. These warriors were nothing like American soldiers, the reality of that has only just set in. I raised my hands in submission looking the man in the eyes. I examined his body, he was holding a knife out to me but he wasn't in striking distance.
“I don't want to hurt anybody.”
I admitted reaching for the bow on my back. The boy narrowed his eyes at me, obviously not having it. I sighed, closing my eyes for a moment, realizing that no one in their right mind would want to hear out a human.
“Listen, if I wanted to I could draw an arrow before you would even realize I'm doing it, but I'm not.”
I whispered slowly, taking the bow off my back. My reasoning only seemed to agitate the boy as he gripped his knife harder. I internally scolded myself for not being better with words, even when pleading for my life I seemed arrogant.
Both of our attention was drawn away from the stand off at hand. My squad was currently capturing my brother's friends. The boy took no time to dart towards their direction, I grabbed him by the arm, pushing him behind a tree out of any wandering eye's line of sight. He glared at me, opening his mouth in protest and confusion. I muffled him with the palm of my hand, looking into his eyes. I gave him a pleading look, wordlessly begging him to trust me a second longer. His hard gaze softened and for a moment I felt a mutual understanding with him.
“I can help you”
My voice was almost silent as I pulled my hand down from his mouth. I glanced over his shoulder to find my squad walking the Na’vi group towards the abandoned ruins.
“Follow me”
I picked up my bow off the ground and dashed toward the two groups. My stride came to an abrupt stop as my arm was tugged. I glared at the culprit,
“what the hell are you-”
“Listen”
The boy cut me off and I closed my mouth. I heard bird-like sounds in the distance, they were almost indistinguishable to the natural noises of the forest. I doubt I would have noticed them if they had not been pointed out.
I gave the boy a questioning look, hoping for some kind of explanation.
“We have to go”
He urged, turning to the other direction. I was still confused, and wanted to ask this boy a million questions, but I settled on following him blindly. Some feeling deep in my gut possessed me to stay close behind him. It may have gone against all the training I've ever done, but I trusted this Na’vi boy more than I trusted my father. I turned my head backward as we fled, wanting another look at both my father and brother together. I heard the whistle of an arrow cut through the air before it shot a man from my squad in the heart. The precision and distance was bone chilling, I was thankful the boy allowed me to come with him or else I could have suffered a similar fate.
After a short while of running through the forest we came to a clearing and he slowed, I stopped behind him. I took a moment to take in our surroundings. The forest canopy opened above us allowing gabs of sunlight through the clearing. I had never seen anything so breathtaking. Everything was so still, but I could feel the surge of life all around me. I looked back to the boy who was already staring back at me.
“Why did you save me”
I questioned, If I was in his position I can't say I would have done the same.
“You said you would help.”
I pressed my lips together, sliding my bow behind my back.
“I meant I would help you and your friends not get killed, but it seems you didn't need my help.”
The boy shook his head, taking a step closer to me. He had a confident presence, but it didn't feel threatening.
“We do need your help.”
My face contorted in skepticism. Why would he want my help, why would he trust me so easily. Everything about the situation I found myself in was hard to wrap my head around.
“How could I possibly help you?”
He took in a frustrated breath, running his hand over his braided hair.
“You're a sky person mm? But you offered to help me. To help us. You aren't like them.”
I shook my head,
“You shouldn't assume things”
He continued,”I am not assuming. I know.”
I mumbled in response “Skxawng (stupid)”
His eyebrows raised in surprise after hearing a foreigner speak his native tongue. I didn't know what to do, it was unrealistic for me to agree to help him, before long they would figure out where I was and who I was with. It would be Jake Sully's betrayal all over again. And yet I found myself wanting to agree.
I gasped looking back from the direction we came from.
“Miles” I whispered looking back to the Na’vi man, continuing before he could question what I was saying.
“The boy, the human boy. Who is he?”
I urged, to think he had been here all this time. Living amongst the enemy, all he knew was this foreign world.
“Spider? He's our friend, our brother.”
I shook my head, impatiently continuing my interrogation.
“But where did he come from?”
The boy looked at me with furrowed brows, making a shrugging gesture as he spoke,
“He is the old military commander's son, when he died Spider had nowhere else to go.”
I covered my mouth in shock. I was so sure it was him but hearing it confirmed, it made it so real.I really saw my brother, and he really lived a happy life here on Pandora. He really had a family, and I really wasn't a part of it.

So. I watched Avatar the way of water
Tumblr media
so you don't have to. hear my thoughts about it and then decide for yourself
Entails spoilers but that doesn't really matter because the scenario is at a solid twenty three on a 0-10 predictability scale.
Okay so, first things first.
The movie is stunning.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The special effects teams did an awesome, terrific, 11/10 job and I thought to myself "AI could never." Every plant, every flower, every creature felt like a living, breathing organism. The planet's ecosystems felt coherent and beautiful and alive. I had chills at some scenes purely because they were absolutely absolutely breathtaking. There are details in the morphology of different Na'vis, from the skin patterns to the development of the limbs, etc... And I honestly think 95% of the world building can be attributed to the special effects teams working on the movie.
Tumblr media
And the scenes in the water, oh my god. You'll have to see for yourself. If only for these I don't regret seeing it in a movie theater, and they will probably fuel my imagination for years to come.
Okay that's the setting. Now,
The story: uuuuuhhhh
You're missing the bad guy from the first movie right?? No??? Too bad, because he's back. And bigger. And bluer.
Tumblr media
because we couldn't be bothered to think of other tension points memory transplant. Bad humans destroy planet. Bad guys wants to destroy good guys because they don't have anything better to do and also revenge. Good guys good, by the standards of... US military of course.
Ah right, I have to take a detour here. Let's talk about.
🇺🇲American ideals in the movie🇺🇲
Tumblr media
My god. It's like the VFX team tried to create an original and unique world, but the top scenarist was like. "It has to speak to the every day person: the average american male, of course."
Starting from the hero Jake Sully. Jake Sully's only personality traits are "US sergeant" and "a father protects, his family" — You'll hear that sentence about 3000 times. I suppose they thought it was deep.
Tumblr media
(He's talking to his son. Lol.)
Jake tells his wife what to do during the entire movie, and she complies. He's not always right, but his wrongs are never shown as such. His outbursts are justified, hers are either calmed down by him or... one time, after their son's just died, he tells her he needs her to be strong. You know? Like him. THIS WOMAN HAS BEEN READY TO FIGHT THE ENTIRE MOVIR AND YOU'RE TELLING ME when some JACKASS kills her SON SHE NEEDS PROMPTING??? FUCK YOU
The Water tribe's structure is... The men go hunting. Women are healers. Some women have power but still the chief (a man) utters the other. The boys get into fights! And their dad is like "Go apologize. *Whispers* what's the other guy look like". The girls are kind and keep their younger siblings in check!
Which. You know, this is what I can observe, in my own life. It could be argued it's a good representation of the social pressures and dynamics of those gender groups in current society. The question is
FUCKING WHY
WHY am I seeing traditional gender roles and American values on a LITERAL ALIEN PLANET. GIVE ME A FUCKING BREAK. And the thing is, I'm not even sure it's by design. What is more terrifying, is that it might stem from an UTTER INABILITY TO CONCEIVE ANYTHING ELSE COULD EVEN EXIST.
And the most terrifying to me is: the intended audience probably does identify with Jack Sully. I can imagine a lot of family dads sitting there slightly teary eyed going "yeah. A father's job is to protect his family."
Tumblr media
WHICH COULDVE BEEN A STRENGTH. It could have taken that audience and told them: look. Trying to protect his family like that got Jack nowhere. Understanding of other cultures, of your own children is equally, if not more important.
But no.
I'll talk about it later but. To me, the movie unintentionally highlights stuff, and fails to deliver what could be deeper and meaningful messages every single, time.
It's a talent really.
right. Back to the story
A girl has disney princess powers because of, of...,
Tumblr media
*Checks notes* a... miracle... You know what I give up.
(She was conceived like fucking Jesus by Mother Nature. this was actually the one scenaristic way out I could forgive, were it not for all the other scenaristic shortcuts.)
To sum up:
Visuals 12/10
Scenario: -2/10
Jake Sully: fuck you
Americanism: -1000/10
For the first hour, the only words in my mind were "utter shite." Now. With such a negative balance, is there anything worth seeing at all, besides the special effects?
I'm sad to say, there is.
For me at least. And it was
The children.
My attachment to the children is what carried this entire movie for me. Both their parents and the narrative fails them at every turn but that's ok, because they grew somewhat beyond what the narrative was tryna do with them. I'll put this in a reblog because 1. I'm tired 2. I need more picture space

writer and editor au for sidgeno? :)
“Page proofs for Crosby,” Phil grunts, dropping a stack of papers onto Geno’s desk with a loud thump. Geno jerks up–he hadn’t heard him come in. “And tell him he really only gets minor copyedits this time, I don’t care if he wants to change an entire section, if he wants that he’s paying for it.”
“I tell him,” Geno assures Phil, picking up the pages. Then he grins. “But you know, last time he change section, it win him–”
“I know what it won him,” Phil retorts. “I don’t care. Copyedits only.”
“Some day i give him your email, let you two fight it out.”
“Like you’d ever give up your special Crosby access,” Phil rolls his eyes. “You barely give Zach his email.”
“He doesn’t give me his email,” Zach pipes in, from his cubicle outside Geno’s office. “I get Sid’s assistant’s email. I don’t actually talk to Sid, really. Like, ever.”
“You, I fire,” Geno tells Zach, who grins at him with the air of someone who knows that yes, there might be infinite amounts of young Lit majors willing to take a seat as an editorial assistant at Big Five publishing house, but none of them would know just how to keep Geno’s editing schedule. “You–” He really doesn’t have any threats for Phil; if you wanted to be quite strict about it, the Managing Editor for the imprint probably outranked him. The whole imprint would definitely fail if Phil decided not to come to work one day, just drowning in a sea of misplaced commas.
“Neither of you understand,” Geno tells them. “I’m save you. Not have to deal with Sid and his talk and neuroses.”
“Yeah, Crosby sounds awful to deal with.” Phil snorts. “I have met him, you know.”
“He always sends me a box of chocolates at Christmas,” Zach pipes in. “Even apart from the one he sends Geno.”
“You not know,” Geno tells them both, glowering. They didn’t have to sit on the phone with Sid for hours, going page by page through his latest novel, discussing every fucking comma. Sure, it was that level of attention to detail that made Sid what he was in the literary world, and maybe the best parts of Geno’s days were when Sid called and they spend an hour discussing character motivations, and the day the house decided Sid’s contract wasn’t worth the money and he went to a different house was the day Geno walked, but still. He’d like to see them do it.
“Call me from the Booker Prize dinner,” Phil snorts, and walks out of Geno’s office, shaking his head.
He pauses in the doorway though, looks back. “I’d take a look at the dedication, though.”
“You think I not look?” Geno demands. He knows this book forward and back. He knows that, fuck everyone who thought Sid was played out, he couldn’t put out another winner, this book was maybe Sid’s best, even better than the first one Geno had gotten, inherited from Mario when he retired. Mario had passed that one on with a grin. You get Crosby, he’d said, and grinned again. I think you’ll enjoy it.
Sometimes, Geno wonders if he knew. Geno flips past the cover page, makes a note on a typo in the front matter reviews, then he looks at the dedication. Sid usually dedicates his books to boring people, because he is a boring, boring man for all the magic of his words–his mom, his dad, his sister. His last one had been to the entire city of Pittsburgh.
This one, though. For Geno, it says. Who makes me better, every day, and without whom none of this would be possible.
“Hey, I’ll email the pdfs and mail the pages to Jake, then you have that meeting with Sully to go over numbers for–are you okay?” Zach asks, pausing halfway through the door.
“Fine.” Geno doesn’t wipe tears from his eyes or anything. “Yes, email, send. But I’m late for meeting.”
“Everyone’s going to be shocked,” Zach informs him. Geno narrows his eyes.
“Fired,” he warns, and Zach laughs.
“Want me to close the door so you can call Sid?” he asks. Geno considers pretending otherwise, but–
“Yes please,” he says. Zach barely laughs as he closes the door, even though Geno knows he’s about to go message all the other assistants about this.
Geno types in the number on his phone mostly from memory. It rings, and it rings, and again, and then–
“Sidney Crosby’s phone,” comes a voice that is definitely not Sid’s.
“Hi Jake,” Geno tells Sid’s assistant–one of them, he thinks Sid picked up a new guy recently too. He can’t actually tell their voices apart yet. “Sid around?”
“Hey, Geno.” There’s a shuffling. “He’s just working on an interview, he didn’t want to be disturbed. Do you need something I can help with?”
“No.” Jake is invaluable to both Sid and Geno, and Geno knows that, but–he can’t help with this. But Geno’s not going to disturb Sid when he’s busy. “Just tell him I call. Zach send you proofs soon–”
“Oh,” Jake suddenly sounds very smug. “Oh, no, he’s going to want to talk to you, one sec.”
He can hear someone getting up, then moving around–Geno can picture it, how Jake was probably camped out on Sid’s couch, because Sid keeps on threatening to give Jake his own office and Jake keeps on protesting he doesn’t need it even though at this point he’s running a business off of Sid’s coffee table. Then there’s a knock on a door, and Geno knows that door, knows Sid’s office from meetings and late nights and a few times when he’s had to barge in and tell Sid that he could wait a few days for the next manuscript sleep was more important. Then the door opens and,
“Sid, it’s–yeah, I know, but it’s Geno. He’s got the page proofs–yeah, I thought so,” Jake says, sounding the sort of smug that Geno expects is going to result in an email to Zach. “Okay, here’s Sid.”
“Thanks,” Geno tells him, then there’s a scratch and,
“Geno?” Sid says, and Geno can’t help his smile. A decade later, and it’s still Sid, still the same voice that answered him the first time he called with edits. “Hey, sorry, I was writing something up for that tour Jen set up.”
“Yes, I know, she nagging me to make you finish.”
“She’ll get her answers on time,” Sid informs him, a little snippy like he tends to get when someone claims he isn’t professional. Then Geno can hear his breath. “You saw the proofs?”
“Yes.” Zach already took them, but Geno doesn’t need the pages in front of him to see it. “See dedication. Want to say thank you, could have gone in acknowledgments–”
“It’s true,” Sid says, firmly. Like he always says whenever someone looks in surprise at Geno, who gently suggests that maybe Sid should get an editor who speaks better English, who has more experience, who’s different. Sid has stared down each and every one of them, and firm but polite, told them that he won’t work with anyone else. Every time he says it, it makes Geno want to hug him. This time, he’s too far away. “You do. With the books and in general. I know I get the credit, but each of my books are both of ours, and this is the least I can do to give you some credit.”
Sid does plenty. Sid is–Geno complains but Sid is the foundation of Geno’s career, sometimes it feels like the foundation of his life. Sid gives Geno credit at every interview he’s asked, and sometimes when he isn’t. Geno still remembers at some prize dinner a few years ago, when Sid had gotten a little tipsy and had ended up, red-faced and giggling a little, telling Geno how great he was over and over as Geno laughed.
“I know, I’m genius, you just pretty face,” Geno retorts, because they don’t say that stuff.
Sid laughs. Geno’s not sure he understands, really–that even now, ten years later, Geno’s a little in awe; that Sid’s stories can still move Geno to tears; that Sid’s won almost every award an author can get and Geno still thinks he’s not appreciated enough.
“For sure, for sure,” Sid agrees. “Are you okay with it? I can still cut it–”
“You just try,” Geno growls, maybe too fast. Sid chuckles again. Geno is a grown man and doesn’t blush, but he does take a second. “No, Phil kill you if you try change that much.”
“Actually, I wanted to talk to you about that,” Sid says, and Geno groans.
“Sid.”
“No, but I really think we can still tighten up Stanley’s intro, it’s a little sloppy–”
“Phil come to your house and kill you,” Geno warns, but he’s pulling the manuscript up on his computer. “Okay, what you think?”
Half an hour later, Geno is very late for his meeting and Phil is definitely going to kill one or both of them for the changes they want, but they’re happy with where it is.
“We good?” Geno asks. “I tell Zach, he–”
“Don’t bother him, Jared can do it. He needs something to do. I don’t know why I needed another assistant–”
“Because Jake too busy, and you have better things to do with time,” Geno informs him. “This way Jake can focus on charity stuff, and Jared help with things like page proofs.”
“Yeah, you’re right, I know.” Sid huffs out a breath. “I’ll send him the changes to input. Two weeks for the proofs?”
“Sooner better, with these changes,” Geno agrees. He glances at his calendar. “Then I’m come down, for launch. Zach send you my travel, hotel–”
“You’re staying with me.”
“Sid, I don’t–”
“Don’t be ridiculous, I have the space, you’re staying. Sam misses you,” Sid adds, because he knows how to play dirty. Geno will never pass up time to play with Sid’s dog.
“Fine, I stay with you. But not work, not all the time.”
He can hear Sid’s smile. “That’ll be good. We haven’t hung out in a while.”
“Your fault, write too many bestsellers, keep me too busy.” But Sid’s right. It will be good, to just hang around and watch a game and chat late into the night. To have Sid, spread out on the other end of his couch in shorts and bare feet, maybe even shirtless for the summer, and– “But yes, we remember we friends.”
Geno only notices Sid’s pause because he’s spent years paying attention to him. “Yes, friends,” Sid agrees. “I’ll get you the pages ASAP, and Jen the interview.”
“Good, yes.” Geno closes his eyes. “And Sid–thank you. Means a lot, you think this about me.”
Sid laughs. “You know how I feel about you, G,” he says, then, “Okay, I need to get to this interview.”
“Bye,” Geno agrees, on instinct, and then Sid hangs up.
Geno looks at his desk, piled with papers, then out his office window to the New York streets below. Sid’s an author, the best there is; he doesn’t choose words lightly. And Geno’s english might not be 100%, but–he knows what that phrasing means. What it suggests.
Geno grins, and gets up. Zach’s bent over his computer, which means he’s either working hard or emailing memes with Jusso, the new publicity assistant. Geno knocks on the table. “For when I go down to Pittsburgh, see if I can get there day early,” he asks, as Zach jerks to look at him. “Also, find good restaurant. Need to take Sid out.”
“Yeah, sure,” Zach agrees, jotting a note down on a post-it. Then he looks up, grinning. “You know, I don’t think you’re allowed to expense a date disguised as an author dinner.”
Geno scoffs, but–well, between Zach and Jake it’s not like he has secrets. “Fired,” Geno warns again, and heads to his meeting whistling.

Dedicated to my two forevers, father, mother, brothers, sister, best girlfriend, and to all the people who were strangers and became good friends by showing simple kindness in dark moments.
Stories told from a girl who is “clinically” diagnosed with bipolar disorder 2, OCD, adjustment disorder, and anxiety/depression ranked in the 90% of the worst in adults 18+; a girl who was told in confidence that she was on her way to becoming schizophrenic and held it from her family and friends to do her own research to understand herself before anyone else;
Especially when she started hearing strange voices.
Personal Bio
“Take their expectations and double them, no matter how big they are.” That’s all he and I ever wanted for myself.
Privacy is very serious to myself and those closest to me. The catch of this book is that if names are spoken, I also know several others with the same one.
Family and friends who did not understand me were my downfall. Being a softie with a mean streak, I spent six months alone in my head and body to be where I am today. I didn’t want to hurt the people I loved the most any more than I had disappointed them already. I often overwhelm, but promise you will be treated nicely as long as you approach me in good intent. It’s not what you say, it’s how you say it.
As an aspiring author who wants to stay sane in forms of her physical arts, mind, and nature; feedback would be much appreciated. I know exactly where I’m going and I’ll do it with or without you. I’m an intellectual, modern day hippie with a lot of street knowledge. I believe in the universe, enjoy learning through passion and logic at my own pace, and will be enthused over your aspirations in taking new paths.
TO THE TOP  “ This ain't no halo over my head bitchBut dear God can you forgive the sinnin'For everything that I did since the beginnin'Because the devil around me so muchThat you would think I got a death wishYeah, and the voices in my head get louderWatchin' my career disappear like powderWish I could rewind those hours and get my life back.”
Jake, you told me from day one that you were going to bring you with me to the top, and when you and your dreams slipped, I didn’t forget who you were to me and how kind you were in a lucid mind. I had my own addictions, so I forgave and never forgot. You were you, I was I. Now you are you and I am I. I’d be lying if I said that I didn’t love you just the same and more as the first day we met.
Dad, I have always thought that you can get through to me more than anyone when we discuss things alone. Whether it’s on the way to and from Sully Erna, the DMV, or just in general, car and motorcycle rides with you were always my favorite. I see how unhealthy I was in body and mind, and I am confident and proud of who I am today. I hurt you, and am not afraid of constructive criticism anymore. Mom, I’ll be damned if you pour salt on my open wounds from my and your past. I am learning how to close mine and only need a little salt at a time. I love you to the moon and back, so don’t be salty like the oceans we are controlled by. I like our calm beaches and exciting waters until the storms hit and turn into hurricanes.
Brendan, we went from bruises on our bodies to bruises on our hearts. I am envious of your strength and look up to you even when I don’t tell you. When I am upset, I turn to your words that have resonated deep in my mind. I love you, my soldier with a big heart, little man, and big man all in one. Mark, my forever little dude. Anyone that knows me knows that you are always with me. I have pictures you on my phone always, in my room, in my car, and eventually on my body when you’re old enough to help me choose which ones are your favorite. Although I am growing up, you light up my life everywhere in sight and out of it. I am better for myself and you now. I will do anything it takes until we can draw and play Minecraft together, like the old days. Tyler, your art inspires me and your quirky and masculine personality brings me great joy. Some of the things you say make me cringe within my body, and I can’t always help the giggles that turn into obnoxious laughter.
Heather, there is nothing that I can say that hasn’t already been said before. We know where we stand always because we get each other. You are winter and I am summer, but somehow we can always accomplish spring and fall together. Much love and respect to your beautiful self inside and out. I am proud to call you my sister.
Brandon, my first lover and best friend in one. I miss you, and look to the skies every day and night to find where you are. Waking up from dreams where I see you leaves me in tears, but teaches me more lessons than you once could. I miss my favorite eyes and your beautiful head that depression shot with a single bullet. I just got back into our music, and sketched out memorials for you once I started accepting and forgiving your death. Until next time, “To tell the truth, I really never knew ‘til I met you. See I was lost and confused, twisted and used up. Knew a better life existed, but thought that I missed it.” (Butterfly-Crazy Town) I’ll see you soon.
I’m taking you all with me, and will hold on until you let go completely.

Neteyam " they are here sister"
Lani " it time for me to meet my mate" lani soon got up and soon left her childhood home and started walking with her mom and sister, she soon spotted the ash navi clan members standing there.
Jake " olo'eythan ookek here my daughter your son future mate"
Ookek " hello" Ookek seems to not like Jake as he had been keeping some distance between the two of them.
Lani " hello"
Ookek " here is Amoyi the future leader of the clan, and lani betrothed" soon a tall ash male navi ahd stepped forward he was taller then neteyam but a bit taller them jake.
Amoyi " hello lani I hope I cam be a good mate for you"
Lani " I hope I can be a good mate to you as well Amoyi" soon the ceremony had started as everyone as the tshaik do the ritual for the Union, and it was done in blink of an eye all the clans were there to celebrate and see the Union. Lani and Amoyi will become official mates later on but right now they were seen as mate couple.
The next day
Jake " I will miss you my daughter but we will see each other again"
Y/n " yes father"
Neytiri " don't worry you will see your home again you will back here soon and we will be a whole family again"
Y/n " yes mother"
Neteyam " I and other sibling made you something so you don't forget us"
Jake " everyone stop worry your sister will be gone for a while but she will be home soon, we won't be apart for long"
Kiri " well we are still giving to to her"
Ash navi " lani we have to leave the olo'eythan wish to be home with the clan"
Y/n " yes goodbye everyone" Unknown to everyone was they this deal had consequences that were going to come back go haunt all of the olo'eythans and the clans. As ooke was a man who was smarter then everyone had thought and he knew there was something off about the whole situation, but he was going to deal with that later.
Amoyi " you will be flying near me"
Lani " sure"
??? " wait lani" lani had looked back to see Tsyeria running towards her holding something in her hands.
Tsyeria " this for you a necklace with a pearl and crystal to symbolize our friendship and home"The two girls soon hugged each other and soon a parted. Lani had soon taken off from her home looking back one last time, her heart was breaking but she soon felt someone comforting her to was aymeio.
later that night
Jake “ ………”
Tsu’tey “ my brother is everything all right”
Jake “ yes everything is good … I just hope one day she will come to accept the decision that had been made and forgive me as well” Tsu’tey knew about the deals made being Jake second in command.
???? “ this will be good for all of us even lani, my children and your children will grow with our here to be there to influence them” Jake and tsutey looked back to see tonowair standing there with the other leaders.
Jake “ I hope so maybe this will be good for her and make her into a proper adult and mature, as all her other siblings and friends were doing better then her”
olo’eythans “ sacrifice had to be made we could go with the other deals, we had to do what was best for the clan and our families”
Jake “ one day our sons will rule after us what do we do next, if they find out the truth”
tonowair “ they will all understand our sons will come to terms with it, and your son neteyam will understand as well all is not lost … there just had to been a someone given over and that was lani”
olo’eythan “ we will all be well and maybe something good will come out of his deal as well”
Jake “ I hope so I truly hope so” a deal has been made with the sacrifice and marriage of one daughter, to bring peace and harmony to everyone else. Will also bring broken bones and devastation to many lives as well, with all actions made there are consequences as well. One daughter was given up for the happiness for everyone she loves and cared about, and she will changer over time. When and if the families meet again it will be a joyful moment along with many other emotions as things might never be the same again.
