I have watched almost every project Hugh Dancy has been in.
I really will sit through anything to see that silly little man act his ass off.

So. I spent my day watching an actual shit ton of Hugh Dancy projects and now I want to write for them.
However, I want to know what you want to see.
Here's a list of what I've watched and am willing to write for (or have already written for):
Will Graham (Hannibal) - fucking obviously I write for Will
Jack Barber (Downton Abbey: A New Era)
Adam Raki [Adam (2009)]
Cal Roberts (The Path)
Luke Brandon (Confessions of a Shopaholic)
Nolan Price (Law & Order)
Bobby Bronson (Roar)
Aiden Galvin (Blood & Chocolate)
Galahad (King Arthur)
Prince Charmont (Ella Enchanted)
I AM NOT LOOKING FOR FULL REQUESTS! I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHAT YOU WANT TO SEE!
(also, there are characters that I am willing to write for that I haven't watched the projects for if people really want to see them. So, just leave the name and I'll see what I can do)

In between my first and second viewings of DA2, I read an article in which the costume designer mentioned that, in the first movie, they had deliberately put Violet and Mary in very similar costumes--similar coloring, same length dress with similar V necklines, matching jewelry--during the end ballroom scene, except that Mary is in a more obviously modern style.
So on the second viewing of DA2, I kept my eyes open for similar patterns and found a TON. The second grouping features scenes that are intercut, and the rest are scenes where the two of them are together. And just in general, it's interesting to see how Mary's costumes are different in this movie--her blouses are higher-cut, more neutral colors (especially for the blouses), more cardigans and wraps. Very Violet-esque.
I've included a bonus Barber because I think it's neat that while Mary and Violet are similar structurally (cream tops with additional layers, maroon/purple skirts), he and Mary are also complementary colorwise, with half their outfits being maroon and half a neutral color. And the bottom image I've pointed out before, with bonus Edith and Mary matching the teal bedspread in Violet's final moments.

Downton Abbey New Era: More Guy please!
SPOILERS BELOW
I’ll preface this with I’m a very casual Downton Fan, having abandoned ship when the writers killed my two favorite character in rapid succession some time ago. Youtube feeds me clips from time to time so I’m not wholly uninformed on later seasons. I decided to watch the movie mainly because I wanted to see Barrow get his happy ending and because I thought Hollywood people at Downton would be fun. I generally thought it was well done, but I was perplexed about three things:
1) Mary’s subplot with Jack Barber
2) How little time we got with Barrow’s love story
3) Cora’s health scare
How is it that Mary’s flirtation with the director got at least as much time as Barrow’s happily ever after? There was no way that relationship was going anywhere. She’s way too grown-up at this point to cheat on her husband. In my opinion they should have had her already divorced, allowing her to have a fun fling or at least entertain the idea of one.
Barrow’s relationship with Guy deserved more scenes. I thought Guy was very charming but he doesn’t spend enough time with Thomas to get a real sense of his personality. Thomas doing something to put the rude starlet in her place and Guy witnessing it and being amused would have been a way to go. Thomas playing with the children and Guy joining in could also have worked. As it stands it feels less whirlwind romance and more meet cute to marriage of convenience.
Finally Cora health scare served no purpose. It felt like filler. The villa plot gave them plenty to do. Violet’s death and Mary’s marriage provided all necessary angst. Other plotlines needed more time so it should not have been included.
