A/n: I made the fatal mistake of not writing the idea I had with this the moment it came to me, so this has taken me so damn long and its so short I’m very sorry.

“You are quite the amusing character.” you know that voice, it’s become routine, a voice one you expect, yet don’t understand.

You sighed, “I swear some of these people need a leash. I give them basic tasks and clear instructions and some how, something has to go wrong, Every. Single. Time.”

Turning to meet their gaze, you questioned them, “Why do you keep showing up?” They stepped closer.

“Like I said, you amuse me. Always have something happening around you. Am I not allowed to indulge myself in a little fun?” Yeah, involving yourself with people like Constantine came with it’s fair share of chaos.

“Are you asking me, lightibringer? Im sure you have more important things to do than follow me around like a lost puppy.” You teased, raising a brow at them.

“You forget yourself, mortal. Remember who you are talking to." An empty threat, and you were very aware of that.

“You’re far too infatuated with me to even think about punishing me though, aren’t you?”

It was always the same game, their constant calm demeanor as they attempted to get you to bite, to give them that amusing attitude they adored oh so much. “Perhaps.”

You played your own game. One where all your efforts went into breaking that stonic shell they wore so well. You wanted to see more than a condescendingly sweet smile and an amused glint.

You expected them, and you waited for them. Lucifer never failed to show up, “such an amusing little creature.” They stated every time with no further explanation.

They kept showing up, you never went longer than a week without them making some sort of dramatic appearance. Never failing to make you roll your eyes and hide a smile.

Lucifer never stayed for long, just enough time to keep up tradition, to play their game and see how you’d play your own. You liked this little tradition.

Sanada Rolling Stone interview excerpts

I translated some stuff from Sanada's recent Rolling Stone interview.

These are taken from this article.

First, Sanada talking about the Reiwa Three Musketeers' insufficient 色気

Sanada: That generation (of wrestlers) doesn't have enough sex appeal yet. But, well, considering where they are in their careers, that can't be helped I guess. The most important thing isn't how skilled you are in the ring, it's sex appeal. Or maybe I should say, your ability to attract people. That's probably why this generation isn't that popular.

Rolling Stone: Interesting.

Sanada: They're not popular, probably!

RS: But the other day I listened to Tsuji (Yota) talk, and felt like he did have sex appeal. But it's still not enough yet?

Sanada: He's still not there yet. But out of all of them, Tsuji may have the most sex appeal. But it seems like he is popular. (laughs)

Sanada also talked a bit about Taichi, which I found very interesting.

Sanada: Taichi was always... very kind to me. I don't even know how many years it's been but, even when he was my enemy in matches, he was kind. We fought for the IWGP tag titles, but Taichi said "sana-yan is great" and always protected me. He'd say, "I love sana-yan, but Naito is a little..." (laughs)

RS: And what was the reason for that, do you think?

Sanada: I really don't know. Maybe, because we both have the same roots in All Japan. But I don't know if that shared route (to NJPW) was the reason for his kindness. In October of last year, we fought a singles match in the IWGP TV title tournament. In the ring after the match was over, Taichi said to me, "Suzuki-Gun is probably gonna disband, so shall we do something together?" To be honest, at the time I thought it was a prank though. (laughs)

RS: I see. And how is it now that you've joined together as a unit?

Sanada: We don't get together in private that often, but he is kind. I guess you could say he's tsundere? Once you get to know him, he is kind. He gets angry at fans with no manners, but he's a reliable and consistent person. Tsundere-nii-yan.

A few notes from me:

When Sanada talks about fans with no manners, he's probably referencing the ongoing issue Taichi has had with fans stalking him at venues, gyms, and hotels.

About Sanada and Taichi's nicknames for each other: Taichi has been calling Sanada "Sanayan" for years. If you're familiar with how Kenny calls Ibushi "Ibutan" - the "yan" is similar to that. Sanada calls Taichi "Taichi-nii-yan" which is something like "Big Bro Taichi" but with that same cutesy yan at the end.

When Sean laughed really hard, he wrinkled his nose up and bared his front teeth like some sort of rabbit, and he held his hands up in front of his face like he was blocking blows that never came, and he curled his legs up and rolled around on whatever he was sitting on.

When Sean was bored, or thinking really hard, he tugged on his piercings. Sometimes his lip rings, and sometimes he'd pull on his anti-eyebrows if things were really difficult, but usually it was his ear lobe gauges.

When Sean was too cold, he hunched in on himself, and sucked on his teeth until they whistled. He would never ever ask for a jacket, but he would always eye whoever was nearby like he was waiting for them to offer.

And most of all, whenever he was talking to someone, he would copy them. Little things, like how he’d smack his teeth when talking to someone who smacked their teeth, or he’d fidget with his hair if you did, or roll his rs, or just smile more.

Madi never noticed.

Ash knew she never noticed because he knew how she ticked. He knew how she saw people. He knew she saw the freckles on his spine when he pulled off his shirt and never thought anything of them, or the little scars jaw from acne and shaving, or the divot in his skull that his buzz cut gave away. He knew she didn't notice.

For the first week that Sean and Madi dated, Ash hated that more than anything. Why was Sean with someone like her, someone who would never think the way he slept with his head tilted all the way back and his mouth just a little open was cute.

And then they broke up.

Ash was there. He saw the whole thing.

Personally, if Sean O’Lainey got really drunk and told him he had broken his heart and he didn’t want to remember their kisses, he’d probably never forgive himself, but Madi hadn’t seemed too rattled.

And then Sean was theirs again. They had him again, back in their midst, and everyone pretended not to notice when he called them the wrong names.

This, tonight, was their first hangout since the breakup, and Ash was starting to think he was the only one who was so nervous he thought he would throw up. It wasn’t a particularly classy event- Sean had to go shopping and the others all agreed to tag along for old times sake, but Ash felt absolutely ill.

“It’s not like he broke up with us,” Lori chuckled, watching him pace the parking spot again. “Come on, he’s been our friend since middle school- your friend since kindergarten. You’re fine.”

Ash snarled at them, wanting so badly to communicate what exactly made this such a cataclysmically important event, but not having any of the words necessary. It was important because it was Sean, and Sean was important.

And then Sean's truck pulled up. It gently nudged a stray shopping cart, and everyone winced, but Sean didn’t brake, just pushed onward, parking messily and slinging his door open.

“Thanks for finally showing up,” Kyrie called. “I was starting to think you’d died.”

“Sorry,” Sean called back, and the way he shoved his shoulders back was the same that Kyrie did. He was in mirror mode, just doing whatever everyone else did. “I lost my keys.”

“No worries,” Miki smiled. “Glad you could make it.”

Sean grinned a bit, slinging an arm around Lori’s shoulders, and Ash's neck suddenly felt very cold and empty.

The Rome Walmart was not very impressive, as far as Walmarts went. Every high schooler in town had worked there, it felt like, so it was impossible to go on dates there without everyone hearing about, but that’s where everyone went, anyways.

Not that this was a date.

Another cute thing about Sean: he hopped up on the back of the cart when he pushed it, leaning forward, and his t shirt that was just a bit too small rode up, revealing some of the freckles on his back, and the elastic of his boxers, and when Kyrie reached out to pull his shirt down, and he looked over his shoulder, he mouthed a thank you instead of saying it.

Ash really hated having a crush.

It didn’t seem worth it- best outcome was him dating his identical twin sister’s ex, worst outcome was him getting embarrassed and losing his best friend. There was no winning here.

So he very firmly kept his eyes off of Sean’s back-freckles.

And then the other three vanished. Miki wanted to check out the toy aisle to see if they had any new My Little Pony toys (she was turning 20 soon, he thought, in amusement) and the other two agreed to join her.

And it was just Sean and Ash.

Sean didn’t seem phased. In fact, he seemed to hardly notice their absence, just looking down at the list on his phone. “Okay, I need frozen waffles.”

And Ash had no choice but to wander behind him like a lost dog.

“Hey,” He said, fully unaware of where this was going. “Why did you break up with Madi?”

Sean turned, frowning. “What?”

“I-” Ash was regretting this immensely. Why did he even bring this up, why did he even open his stupid mouth? “Nevermind.”

Sean didn’t speak, just turned back to the cart and kept pushing it along. One of the wheels squeaked.

“You wanna know the truth?” Sean said, twisting his mouth a bit, chewing on his lip. “Like, the real actual truth?”

Ash huffed. “I mean, that’s why I asked.”

Sean’s thumb glided across the cart handle the same way Madi’s thumb moved when giving hugs. “I don’t know if I ever liked her. I was just scared to say no.”

“Oh,” Ash said, almost disappointed. “Okay, that’s fine-”

“No, I mean…” Sean paused, turning to look at him, narrowing his eyes at him like he was trying really hard to think. “That’s not it, I thought I liked her because- Ash. I don’t know what it’s like to like someone.”

Ash stared at him. “What, like- you’ve never liked anyone ever?”

“I…” Sean squinted. “Okay, I might have. Once. But I can’t really be sure-”

“Who?”

“I’m not telling you that.”

“Do they go to our school?”

“I’m not telling you that, either, man,” Sean exhaled, bumping his hips against Ash’s. “But… I don’t know, it’s probably not a real crush. Everything I’ve heard made it sound like I had a crush on Madi, but I was probably just scared of her.”

“What do you mean?”

“Like, my stomach hurt, I got all sweaty around her, I had a nightmare about her dumping me-”

“Why were you scared of her, though?”

“I don’t know,” Sean shrugged. “She’s… I don’t know.”

Ash hummed.

Sean hummed back.

“Did you know you copy people?”

Sean winced. Ash wasn’t expecting that. A laugh, maybe, or a sheepish grin, or a shrug. He didn’t expect a wince.

“Sorry.”

“Sorry? What for?”

“Uh, I was hoping you didn’t notice,” Sean said, tiredly. “I kind of hoped no one would notice. I swear it’s not on purpose, when I catch myself doing it, I try to stop-”

“Wait, wait, wait, what am I missing,” Ash grabbed his sleeve, stopping him in his tracks. “Why are you trying to stop that.”

“I read somewhere that it’s a manipulation tactic,” Sean shrugged a little guiltily. “Like, a huge red flag.”

“I think it’s cute,” Ash said, almost defensively. “Like, hey, you’re paying enough attention to me to snap when you’re bored like I do.”

“I don’t-” Sean blinked. “Cute?”

Ash felt his insides freeze. This was literally his worst nightmare, and it was entirely his own fault. He let go of Sean’s sleeve. “Forget it.”

“Ash,” Sean said, weakly, but Ash was already walking away. “Ash, wait.”

Ash paused, sighing, and, not turning to face Sean, asked. “Are you coming?”

“Ash. Look at me,” Ash paused, before turning to face him. Sean scanned his face, carefully, lips thin. “You don’t call things cute, Ash. Especially not people.”

“Yeah.”

“You just called me cute.”

“Really? I hadn’t noticed.”

“Ash. Can you tell me this: do you like me?”

“Yes.”

“Okay,” Sean exhaled, tilting his head back. “This complicates things.”

“Yeah, no fucking kidding.”

“I can’t date you,” Sean said, rubbing his lip ring. “Because of Madi.”

“And because you don’t like me,” Ash muttered. “Don’t forget that.”

“I never said that,” Sean held up a finger. “I said I only liked one person.”

“And… and, what, that person just so happens to be me?”

“Yeah.”

“Oh.”

“Okay, would Madi kill us is the thing-”

Ash was pulling out his phone before he could finish the sentence, shaking fingers hitting buttons he hardly recognized, until his phone was ringing. They both stood there, staring almost in surprise at the screen, until Madi’s face appeared, crooked glasses and all, illuminated by a computer screen.

“What?”

“Would you be mad if Sean and I started going out?”

She squinted at the screen. Sean waved.

“Are you stupid? You called me for that? I’m doing homework, Ash-”

“Answer the damn question.”

“No? Why would I give a shit?”

“I’m holding you to that.”

“Wh-”

Ash hung up, turning to Sean, who was blinking at him, rapidly, the same way that Miki did when she was surprised.

“So-”

“So.”

And then Ash started laughing. He wasn’t really sure what he was laughing at, but he was laughing.

And Sean, of course, laughed along.

Pretty Series song reviews: Konna sekai ni tsugu

I'm not writing it out as "KON-NA SEKAI NI TUGU".

Song

I remember when this first came out. We were in such dire need of a 'scary' gothic song. All the gothic characters' image songs over the past few years had gone the classical or pop routes – which there's nothing wrong with – but we were in need of a more intense, rock-style song. And this one sure delivered!

In classic 'jumpscare-style' intro fashion, soft mystical piano (?) makes way to much louder, scarier music. Between that is a sound effect that builds up before suddenly cutting out – very chilling.

The instrumentals combine elements of pop, rock and orchestral music, but in a way that's different from many other anime songs. Most anime songs that combine those elements use a rock-like rhythm, a pop-like melody, rock instruments in the lead, orchestral instruments to support them and give the song a fuller quality, and a bit of synth to accentuate it. This song has more of a rapid 4-on-the-floor rhythm, fast cymbal patterns, a unique melody, and orchestral instruments in the lead with rock instruments playing a secondary role for much of the song. At least, that's how it sounded to me. It's kind of hard to tell some of this stuff because the orchestral sounds are used in such an aggressive way that they almost sound like synth.

The verses in the full version added a much-needed touch, at least to me. The visuals of the stained glass and kaleidoscope, and the overall mystical design, weren't really suited to majority of the song aside from the intro. So slowing the tempo and using eerily twinkling instrumentals really helped add the mystical feeling that was missing from most of the short version. It also adds more impact when the pace suddenly speeds up.

Regarding the melody, it's a bit unique in that it jumps up and down a lot. Most melodies follow a more linear format where they go up and down note by note (e.g. do-re-mi), occasionally jumping up or down the scale to give an impact during important parts. But this song does a LOT of jumping between higher and lower notes. (Although it still has linear progression, of course.)

I have a lot of inside jokes with myself about this being a gamer rage song.

Vocals

The contrast between Lemon's singing and speaking voice is great. She sings with a strong, deep and full voice that's well-controlled but still emotional. And she can even roll her Rs!

As for Carron, she didn't get much time to shine. Nevertheless, it is delightful to hear so much pure rage coming out of that tiny rabbit.

The one thing about the vocals is that, during the part near the end where the lyrics are "kibou wa", I keep hearing "kibou ari". Every single time. It's not just me, right?

Lyrics

A lot of the lyrics are pretty complicated and vague, but then some are stupidly simple. I've read some people's interpretations of the lyrics, such as one person claiming that the lyrics were about wanting to stay trapped in the otaku world, and I didn't really agree with that interpretation (though can I understand where it came from), so I guess I'll write my own.

I think the meaning of the lyrics is very simple at heart. They're about doing what you want regardless of what anyone thinks. I suppose that "doing what you want" could mean "shutting yourself in your room and playing video games all day", but the story seems to show that that isn't what Lemon wants.

There are a lot of lyrics that are so vague and abstract that I still don't know what they mean after all this time, but the fun part of that is that it makes it easy to project your personal feelings onto the lyrics to make them more relatable. Like, I don't know what they meant specifically by "gathering and learning" or by "parallel lines", but that means I can think about all the times that thinking and learning didn't help me fix my problems, or all the times that things in my life seemed to be lining up but then I didn't take advantage of them so they just passed by without coming together.

The repetitive parts of the song kind of feel like when someone's so angry that they can't think straight and just keep saying the same thing over and over.

I wish I knew what they meant by "voi".

Choreography

Not the best, but could be worse. I don't really feel the need to say that much on Primagi choreography since I already made a separate post covering the choreography for all the songs. From now on, I think I'll just copy-paste those into my Priamgi song reviews. As for this one:

This song’s choreo looks like it was made up on the spot. The rhythm of the movements is rather liberal compared to the rhythm of the song, the non-dominant limbs often fall into position halfway through a movement, and there isn’t much consistency even among repeated movements. But looking like the dance was made up on the spot isn’t necessarily a bad thing for a frantic-sounding song like this one. As with many songs, my opinion on the choreography improved after seeing the full version - it’s a lot cleaner, quicker, sharper and more precise.

Visuals

Somehow, the animation feels kind of laggy during some parts, especially the instrumental part. But only when played along with the sound. When I watch it with the sound off, it looks perfectly fine, but when accompanied by the music, the animation looks too slow.

The stage design looks too elegant for the song, but it's really pretty so I can't complain. There are lots of beautiful details like the crystals, the flower bush, the moving kaleidoscope pattern, and the big lamps.

The performance made use of a lot of unusual and experimental angles, which personally gave me the impression of being killed by Lemon in a video game. Like you know, those "you died" memes.

The red tint that appears (and even seems to pulse and bleed at the corners) is an exciting touch that helps get across the song's aggressive vibe.

Good points: Powerful vocals, intense atmosphere Bad points: Kind of annoying?

Sophia! You're on fire girl! Sharing the important stuff on your blog instead of same of BS about 🐟 and unnecessarily bashing Chris! No BS conspiracy theories, just facts!

I love the Seb-Ale shitshow receipts you're sharing. How 🐟 managed to fuck up trolling more than Ale is beyond me. So many similarities though, it's crazy!

I'll say, maybe it's his luck or it's in his destiny but because of how the fandom is Chris is getting 100x more shit than Seb ever did. Sometimes I wonder if the blow would've been softer if the PR shitshow rolled out at its original timeline. Then I think this all needed to happen for Chris's sake. For the sake of his personal, emotional and spiritual growth.

Personally, since January I always believed this shitshow will be dragged out till November of this year. The official break up will be announced before Red One promos officially begin. No, I'm no gifted individual with tarot card interpretation skills or someone who gets intuitive dreams. Nor am I someone with sources from Hollywood or Chris's team lol. I'm just speaking from the vibes I get,what I've been feeling. No doubt I'm prepared to be proven wrong,the BUA might come earlier. We might get more trolling before it officially ends.

Who knows but I'm calm, man. I'm chill and not really angry at Chris. I understand he got entangled in shit. I don't think he handpicked 🐟 lol. I don't think he was following people on IG to look for a PR gf(do people actually believe this or do they just say it as a joke???) I most certainly don't think his beliefs suddenly align with theirs.

I just think there's money, projects, contractual obligations and industry reputation on the line so he's complying. But I've strongly believed that he needs better people around him work wise at least. Whoever is managing him isn't helping him.

But I believe one thing,this man was born to be a star. He was born to be well known and to be seen and loved by the public. He'll get it all back in tenfold. He needs the lessons and the growth. Let's all hope he manages to learn them and see his true potential!

A friend sent me the links for Seb and Ale pr posts and Harry and Olivia's too. I am very lucky I have some great friends who send me great stuff and I don't have to do much research :) They do research, find me some great stuff and I just post them mostly :)

Idk if you have been following me before I deactivated but I also felt that the shitshow will not be over before the next SMA gets announced and I also made some comparisons with MBJ and Lori's pr rollout. It is very similar. I will make a post again about the things I found similar. I might make some posts comparing some stuff with other prs in the upcoming days. That might prove useful for everyone to understand why we feel it is pr and not a real rs.

how important do you think working on your accent vs. working on your vocabulary/grammar etc? i can tap Rs but can't roll them and have trouble with the v -> b sound. should i focus on trying to pronounce things correctly or focus on my grammar and hope people get it from context?

As long as your grammar is correct everything else will follow

Grammar is far more important than whether or not you can roll your R's. There are very few cases where your actual accent is going to make that profound of a difference since most people will understand you by context

It's like caro "expensive" vs carro "car"; the context is so different people won't be confused

I've found that it's your actual vocab and grammar that can cause more confusion than how you sound; and usually it's the native speakers that confuse others with their accent.

People who aren't native Spanish-speakers tend to be more precise with their words and are very understandable, while natives talk faster and use more slang; and natives pronounce certain things differently in some cases, like swallowing certain sounds/phonemes etc... not to mention the particular accent of a country can be very different like Chile or Argentina sounding much different from Spain

003. outside of his uniform , quilge's fashion varies . usually , though , he wears fancier , dandy-types of clothing . being from a noble family historically , quilge's family could afford such . even in adulthood , he thusly dresses rather elegantly . colors and styles vary , of course , but he could also be described as having a more eccentric taste , as well .

004. a small , pocket-sized journal . has larger ones he keeps inside of his personal chambers at silbern . but , quilge enjoys what can be kept on his person , as he travels and hunts often . he journals when he hunts , as it helps him sort his thoughts when he's alone . during his deployment to hueco mundo , he wrote about it . he keeps notes about his fellow sternritter . he keeps notes about his hunts , his prey , even thinks of publishing hunting guides based on this information . he will draw the anatomy and bodies of monsters he's hunted . quilge is a rather talented artist in a technical sense .

005. owns a vast number of weapons from numerous eras and cultures . a personal collection . some of it is brought to silbern . most of it is at his ancestral home , a jagdschloss in the german forests . quilge personally favors bladed weapons , but knows how to use a variety of guns , as well as other types of weapons .

VICES / BAD HABITS:

001. sadism . of any kind . quilge is a man made by his cruelty . it is flesh and bone real inside of him . in a particular reply , he had said that it is also his "food and drink." that might be an exaggeration , in that context , but someone like quilge , it feels like he was made to make others suffer .

002. zealotry . quilge , very obviously , has a deep faith in yhwach , his beliefs and his goals . one core belief he holds is that yhwach will succeed in the merging of realms , and that everyone quilge knows will thusly be reborn in this new world . and he screams about it every time he gets the chance to . of course .

003. the culling of the weak . sure . let's consider his low tolerance for weakness and fear a bit of a vice . it ends in killing , and that's always a vice for him . he will make plenty of excuses to be absolutely barbaric to even his own men .

004. a competitive attitude . quilge always never really liked his siblings . he easily deemed himself better than them . an absolute cain instinct . while not always manifesting in bloodshed, however, his competitiveness still drives in numerous ways . with his comrades , it can be more lighthearted . with his enemies , it will be deadly . he can AND WILL sit atop a pile of corpses when he's finished .

005. possessiveness , and an ultimate desire for control . the conqueror . the jailer . the butcher . the hunter .

BODY LANGUAGE:

001. a very straight posture when standing . extremely practiced and perfected . it's almost intimidating .

002. conversely , there's times when quilge is sitting down , and his posture can be more of a wicked slouch . he does this purposely . almost always crosses his legs with sitting , as well . hand on his chin or a carved cheek .

003. the slight gesturing with his hands . pointing , holding an open hand , waving his finger back and forth teasingly . sometimes , however , quilge's gestures are far more theatric and dramatic , taking up a lot of his space around him . it depends on his mood .

004. quilge has deep , widened smiles . normally , they are quite dark and indulgent . he smiles easily , and it's usually associated with his cruelty .

005. this is a special aspect for my ship partner @guadanya , but quilge and nnoitra share specific whistles and motions with each other . it is practiced between them , and only something they share . should they be separated or apart , visuals and auditory cues between them could be vital . this was , obviously , quilge's idea .

AESTHETICS:

001. the hunt . aside from torture , the hunt is his favorite . his sacred gathering . his holy work .

002. torture devices . divine instruments for the angel of torture .

003. chains , hooks , rope , riding crops . a double meaning for a man like him . ties directly into his work & his play .

004. german folklore / german fairytales . stories that were passed on from his parents to him , and take some presence in post-war . upon returning to germany , quilge shares some of these stories with his husband . his reishi sword is also named for a german folklore story , as well .

005. angels . views himself as one of god's angels . he deems what he does "holy work," and will often claim that he is "tormenting the wicked" by what he does . of course , given his vollständig's appearance & his zealous mind , it's not too surprising that he thinks so highly of himself .

Why would Harry take the month Louis wanted when Harry wasn't even releasing music in September 2022 and Louis had his comeback single out? /

If you don't mind, mod, I do kind of want to lay this out, because I've seen a lot of people say something similar to this anon, and at least to me, the answer is very obvious and not at all anything controversial or scandalous or upsetting, if people took the time to think through it.

Harry wasn't releasing music in September 2022, no. But DWD was coming out in September, followed by MP a month later. It wasn't like Harry had nothing to promote - he was very clearly promoting his two upcoming movies and his tour. And around the same time, iirc, Gemma Chan, Florence Pugh, and Olivia Wilde all had covers of different publications, which makes me think the DWD marketing team was in the lead here (and probably paying for it).

I don't think it's nearly as simple as being able to request a different month, but even if we entertain the possibility that it was and Harry and/or Louis could've just requested a different month to make room for them both, there was a combined July/August issue, which was likely way too early to be effective promo for either of their purposes, and Megan Thee Stallion was on it discussing her shooting, so not something RS would want to let another publication get the big interview on. October cover featured Stephen Curry, who you could maybe argue could've been bumped, but, one, I doubt RS would want two former 1D members on back to back covers (and to be perfectly honest, I don't think the obvious invitation for comparison would've done Louis any favors - "new king of pop" vs "comeback single"), and two, in January RS got an exclusive first look at Steph Curry's documentary, so it seems pretty likely that was part of his cover deal. Again, not something RS would want to give up easily. November is too late for Harry's promo, almost too late for Louis' promo, and the cover went to Pharrell and RM from BTS, talking about BTS' break and making solo music. Again, huge get, not likely RS would give it up to give the cover to Louis instead.

Like mod said in the tags, I really do not think that Harry and Louis personally are the ones arranging these covers. They help set the overall strategy, I'm sure, but they have marketing and promo teams who decide how best to execute that strategy and make the calls and arrange opportunities. And even if Harry had wanted to somehow give that opportunity to Louis after hearing about it, what is he supposed to do? Tell his promo team and the DWD promo team to walk back the negotiation with Rolling Stone so his ex-bandmate could get the cover? First off, they're closeted, so that would've been extremely suspicious behavior (and honestly would've been weird even if they were openly dating... which brings me to my next point...). Secondly, while I absolutely do not actually know Louis Tomlinson, from everything we've ever seen or heard about him, I cannot imagine he would want to get major career wins like a Rolling Stone cover because of a favor from his partner. I feel pretty confident in saying he'd like to get these things on his own. I have a lot of issues with the recurring undercurrent in fandom discourse that Harry should somehow be using his success to help Louis' career, but one of my biggest is that it takes away a lot of Louis' agency. He's talked a lot about needing to find faith in himself as a solo artist and performer, and I think that's more important to him than any magazine cover he could've gotten through a favor (much less Harry giving something up for him).

In any event, the NME cover was still a huge get, and they gave him an album review too, which he might not've gotten from RS. Arguably, it worked out better this way.

Hi ksenya!! Decided i want to learn Russian, do you have any advice?

No idea! Its my native language and i grew up swimming in it. Only general learning advice! Also guesses on some of trouble you may run into.

General: Practice is everything. You must learn the basics, start trying out vocabulary, then look at the phrase dictionaries immediately and do your best to talk w native speakers. That way they can correct you and get a cool experience (we don't see many ppl learning the language bc of how hard and unpopular it is). Plus, watching movies in Russian with subtitles, or staring at Russian subtitles, bc those are more readily available, is ALSO practice. Especially the first one. You get to hear the correct pronunciation and all.

You can try finding Russian songs you like, on my side I suggest Машина времени and PIZZA for bands. Maybe even Сергей Заковряжный (singer)

Problems: Russian has some very specific pronunciation principles, but also. Learning to pronounce it is gonna be hard. It reads as it's written unless vowels xyz are unstressed then it reads the other way. Oh there's also the consonants d and g and zh they can become t and k and sh on a whim. Rolling Rs and ц (ts) and soft sounds. Don't get me started on ь ы ъ. One of them is a vowel that isn't transcribable in English. It's pretty much the sound that pops between two hard consonants when you chain them together, like in up-date. But long. And voiced. The other two are just signs. One makes consonants soft and fucks shit up. The other just fucks shit up. You don't read them

Don't get me started on word stresses. There's almost no system. Native speakers fuck it up all the time. There's dictionaries just for that.

Grammar, unlike the other two, is VERY strict. Unlike in English, you won't be left swimming but will find rules upon rules upon rules. Punctuation especially. The only thing that's hardly managed is word order, but still, the stress of the sentence depends on it. Usually the last word of simple sentences is most important/stressed. New info or clarification.

Its also very rich. You will have to learn. So much. We had to learn so much. So take it slow. It will take many years. We learn Russian for the whole of school and then after that even if the profession doesn't require it. The stuff that gets learned the longest is grammar, punctuation and word stress.

There are 7 cases btw. And that's not all. Also it's a very gendered language. We don't have articles tho. We also have 3-4 special ways of doing nouns. :] there's also 2 cases for verbs.

But also - don't worry. Russian grammarists have you safe and you should be able to find rules for all of it and how to differentiate everything

So for now. Dive into that vocabulary with duolingo or lingvaleo. Get some phrases into your brain. Stare at media. Go wild. Rules can wait a bit.

i'm not sure how i'd measure time here, though i could theorize that i am capable of getting energy back while in this body, and it's just taking a really long time for that to happen.

that's what i'm saying! what's a god of chaos who doesn't cause chaos? /lh if i don't have any chaos i just get really tired and sluggish. naturally caused chaos and caused by me chaos are the same, it's just the way it's caused that's different.

some beings need to eat my but all of them. i didn't need to eat but i'd do it anyway cause food is very tasty. money isn't that important cause why trade to get money to buy things when you could just trade for the thing? /lh. the quest stuff i'd usually do is foraging, i'd wander off into the wild of hell and find specific plants so others didn't have to do it themselves.

i didn't interact with mortals much but there is A GUARDIAN SYSTEM!! mortals would go to magic schools and, in some cases, get a guardian. a guardian ranges from humanoids to creatures, and sometimes a heaven/hell being would be chosen. the guardian's main objective is to protect the person they're a guardian for. human culture is almost exact to this dimension human cultures, but different cause humans can use magic and stuff. they made the same genres of music this dimension has, and i'd mainly listen to any type of rock.

that's an interesting theory :o I've never considered that before

just like heaven and hell are sub-dimension, all types of afterlife were also sub-dimension. if you had a theory for what the afterlife was like, that's where you'd go when you died, if you believed in multiple you got to choose, if you didn't believe in an afterlife you would just. cease to exist, i think. and yeah Fate manages afterlife stuff as well, like making sure everyone gets to their afterlife.

i play minecraft ALL THE TIME in this world. it's on of my fav games :]

i'm consistently collecting chaos as long as it's being made, so all the time I'm getting it, but i'd also be using it often (using my tendrils uses chaos energy). i collect it by being in the same "parent" dimension it's being made in (so i still get chaos from my dimension when in sub- dimensions) and i balance it by existed, so i experience the results of to much or to little chaos so the dimension doesn't have to. noming is sooo much fun, I've had bitten all my friends, guaranteed. i guess people didn't like cause they didn't like being...surprised? but honestly i don't know /gen

being human is pretty fun, and i'm so glad there's a nonhuman community /gen, and i don't think i would've thought about my gender if i didn't have agab dysphoria from this body. if i could figure out where this dimension is after i got home i'd probably visit!

there's so many pocket and sub-dimensions it would be impossible to keep track, but mine, Fate's and the Red Dimension i remember the clearest /gen

yeah it helps a lot to be like 'the reason my brain isn't working is cause i'm a zombie and therefore don't have a brain' instead of freaking out about it. i don't have any memories from them, it's just the forms /gen

5'3.5 exactly! I'm relatively compact. My mother says there's no way I'm only 5'3 but she also doesn't seem to notice that I Am, In Fact, Shorter Than Her. (Any paper you look on where people measured me has an equal chance of saying 5'3 and 5'4. I only know it's 3.5 exactly because a doctor pointed it out with delight because apparently people don't usually come up to Exactly The Halfway Line.)

47.) What is your most expensive piece of clothing?

Ooh... Does it count if I didn't spend the money on it? Because I have a cloak that was like $175 originally, but my mother never wore it, and when I expressed admiration for how pretty it was, she gave it to me. That's my black velvet cloak lined with purple satin. It desperately needs hemmed because the entire bottom hem has grown frayed and disheveled.

If I had to be the one who spent the money on it, probably a $75ish dress-robe-thing I got from Killstar way back when. That was how much I spent anyways; it was on sale and I forget how much it originally was. I put it in the basement when I moved to this house and it utterly vanished. Not too happy about that one... XP It was really neat, it had long elegant drapey sleeves and a relaxed fit hood, the hem flared out a little for Elegant Flow when walking, and I think it went down to my knees but not in a straight cut, AND it was in a very light fabric, so I didn't overheat! Stretchy too, so it was pretty shapely.

If I had to spend the money on it AND know where it is... That's also gotta be something from Killstar I'm sure, I just don't remember how much each individual dress cost. Definitely one of the maxi-dresses though. (I only buy their clothes when it's Clearance Time. They do this sale once a year where everything on clearance is an extra 40% off, and I get these "luxury brand" level items for little more than you'd spend on a t-shirt at Walmart! I really don't care about ~Brands~, but Killstar has killer sales and that's why I have so many of their dresses.)

81.) Can you roll your Rs?

Yes, quite well too! Both the Spanish way and the Finnish way, and it's a good thing too because I took Spanish in school for three years and I'm learning Finnish as a hobby. (Aggressively rolling the Rs when you're saying "perkele" is an Important Part of speaking Finnish! ;P )

I actually taught myself how to mimic a cat purring on the tip of my tongue before I learned Spanish, and it's essentially a very fast rrrroll. So when it came time to pronounce Spanish in middle school, I was a bit ahead of the game.

100.) Color of your room?

Generally blue, silver, and black. The walls are a medium-darkish denim blue. (Believe it or not, that was Not my decision! Brother painted it when he was in here before I moved back in.) Most of my decor is either in black or silver, except for two of the book cases which are VERY dark brown. The smol decorations are mostly black and blue, but there's some gold and silver in here too. Even the chinchilla and bird cages are in black, silver, and blue. Heck, most of the birds themselves are blue-gray; one of my chinchillas is black (the other's white). And I guess there are books of every color, but even those tend towards blue and black!

3. What does your oc’s voice sound like? (Or, if you have one, what’s their voiceclaim?) Can they sing, whistle, or roll their rs? Do they have any speech impediments or notable dialects/accents?

Errol's voice is different from the canonical one (i.e. Nolan North) and he sounds much more like John Hopkins with his native British accent. He doesn’t want to admit it but he’s a terrible singer: it's better to plug your ears, because it can cause severe ear injuries! His teammates joke a lot about it, saying that he should try to use his “majestic voice” as a weapon against their enemies. As for whistling, he only knows how to do the “fingers in your mouth” type of whistle which means he’s very annoying for the people next to him. He has soft r’s.

7. What song reminds you of this oc? Does this match up with the type of music your oc likes to listen to?

A song that strongly reminds me of him? “Snow’s Theme” from Final Fantasy XIII OST, really love the electric guitar, it’s an awesome theme song. I think it's because Errol is very similar to Snow: he's all talk, full of bluster, tremendously cocky and so on. But he’s also very protective of his friends and always tries to push forward, no matter what. So would he listen this type of music? Heck yes!

24. What is one thing that, no matter who it’s coming from, would anger your oc?

Errol gets really angry if someone criticizes his order (the Vigil, and later, the Pact). It doesn't matter if it's a constructive criticism or a simple innocent thought, for him it’s the most important thing in the world, he would totally die for his found family, so be careful to point out something wrong! You would end up in an endless argument, or even worse, in a fight!

i got these rolls of 8mm film from j.robinson… the second time in ‘21 that, so i typically, i ran into him- no way out… it was okay though bc he was a lot nicer than the first time (which i’m having trouble getting to- and involved news of awful thing hope had done (when i do get there, and i guess thing is kind of a backwards segway, the biggest thing is that i… this really wouldn’t be important unless i had a really good reason to get it out, and embarrassing her or anything like that is the very very very last thing i thing i want to happen- maybe it’s even beyond the point of her name being attached anyway, and more about the repercussions in that have been so massive for me. it’s not something to just adapt to it and time has been everything but helpful. it’s not even a “healing” type thing. it’s like a broken thing that i am left all the little pieces everywhere i look and it’s not a thing i can let get the best of me, like it has- but is positively not sustainable, i’m out of patience, i can’t get too tired or angry or scared or intimidated to give in . i don’t have another plan (in general, it’s not a “plan” bc that implies that “changing” an option. there’s tons and tons of room to move around and have nothing predictable, as a “plan” would). there’s no way i’d let anything so trivial force my life in any direction that takes away that kind of choice, and it never had any business here in the first place.

i was saying, the film strips… i didn’t finish that part, but i started talking for whatever it’s worth.

back to finish that thought:

the, i retrieved 8mm film, i do not have tons of them that are already on reels and at j. rs’s house- he’s not keeping me from them- i’m not keeping him from his baby book, we just never did that part, and, i’m sorta glad bc there’s even been time to really talk about anything, what’s up (no i honestly don’t think either of us can answer that and or are settle with its lingering, complexity of such a multifaceted relationship- one that’s never faced interference like this, others up in it’s business, being taken advantage of- in every way but the best interest of either of us. more later, but it was a success and yes, hope involved herself…as far as she knows and needs to know it was a success. problem is, besides slighting is both (accidentally/unknowingly j.ro, aimed (why?) at me), by the time that was put together, the tributaries have traveled far.

please consider this a very special writing circumstance that isn’t meant to confuse, but will hit a lot of that, move backwards, forwards, skip chapters for the sake of accomplishing what comes up holds promise at it’s own chosen time. it’s the most doable strategy i can come up with, and right now the only thing missing is “doable”. won’t allow details to take over… can quickly turn “undoable”. this is an excessive amount of prefacing- spanning months/years? i will probably repeat myself by you can accept that, too, bad engrish, hopping, etc- okay. and if you can’t that’s okay, too! i’m just getting a bit out of my head and any bit sound reason is all i hope for… anything really, at all, i’ll take teensy teensy. current state- not okay, no reason, nothing more expected. a comfortable believable area that’s life me in the dust. (and i’m SO nervous to sound “oh poor me”- it just is on me or no body. i should never even know of this experience in life, and it was easy breezy for most of my life (the other part that doesn’t seem to fit). good god, the films. short version, this is all my sweet precious GEM of a dad (j’ro and hope can back that, they were both moved by him… best part- my dad is so innocently oblivious to it all). so i’ve surprised him by digitizing (oh the death of me) these here, will be editing for life- like 70 or something, but only a fraction compared to the rest on reels - which he is aware exist. i don’t think he’s ever seen any, but major things like the worlds fair are missing (possibly even some of his dad who died when he was 7). i’m the sole one that somehow wrangled that house of 4 generations, notebooks and book and films (extreme patience things) being the bulk. he’s hesitantly asked me about the others and i’ve hesitantly said in a shaky voice under my breath that “they are safe and sound………… and ummmmmmmmm at j.ro’s house” and “to not worry, i’ll figure it out, i promise, i’ll just figure it out and they’ll be right here”. my dad asks for NOTHING- he needs nothing, he’s happy and healthy and generous to death. he WILL have those films, projector and all. but not not tomorrow- and not until things are like HE, who ADORE’S j. ro, are back to life. we’re not looking at million years beyond tomorrow either. this is on me- and i’m less than harmless, so and junk, shouldn’t be mine to clean up- but i’m happy to for the love of them both. how? i’m trying to get there, it’s just not going to be an easy ride.

i’m sure i’m repeating that there is/always will be a place in my heart and priceless memories with hope- it a situation, and she’s just in it, and although it’s not accessible to me, it didn’t just walk of, you know it in there, too.

there’s anger here, and i feel extremely guilty and conflicted about expressing anything like that about someone with far too much already… and criticism? with love? i’ve had some major blows, that were deliberate decisions. i’ve really tried to find a way for them to make sense… just a little off the rails in traumatic times and a not acceptable normalcy. it’s like i’ve made some 100% unavoidable life altering “mistakes”(?), so i can’t not worry about everything now- how can i know if this won’t result in that? it’s not to cause anyone any harm, just to untangle some damage done on my end- only so i can be just okay… that= okay=amazing in my world now….. oh good lord the world. i will not stop trying to practice-DEETS LATER, BULLET POINTS NOW. i said i will not stop trying… since it can be jumpy maybe i will do scary parts just fast and quickly take and a special occasion ambien night to celebrate. you’re so going to be, what?? after all this i was expecting something GOOD!!!!
