I've been a huge fan of your art of Seb and Clora here on Tumblr for quite some time now. Maybe a year? Idk time is weird aksbjs. Anyway, I'm an artist myself, and I was just wondering, put simply, whats your art process? Like how you shade and color and stuff.

DAMN youve basically been here since day 1 THANK YOUU😭 im glad you like my stuff!! and ur not awkward at all!!🥹💖💖 and i actually posted a timelapse of my process on twitter not that long ago, so ill post it here as well!

as you can see seb takes me the longest LMAOO hes such a menace for me to draw still...and i dont even think seeing my process helps since its just so much trial and error and warping until it looks right BAHAHA (this is from like a month ago and i ALREADY think seb looks off here too 💀) but my process is super simple, i just colour and cell shade on multiply and then i add a grain texture on soft light 10% at the end. i dont rly do anything fancy for colouring, bc i used to over-render my art and make it really complicated, but now im a fan of just having it look kinda...flat? if that makes sense LOL. i like it aesthetically AND its also easier. OH also something i add to the end of almost all my pieces is this auto-action from clip studio assets which basically adjusts the hue/saturation/brightness. here's an example of what the original flat colours look like vs. when i add this filter:

even if you dont have clip studio the same effect could be achieved with just manually tweaking with the hue/saturation levels afterwards, but i like this filter just cuz its easy and makes the colours more how i like them HOPE THIS HELPS💖💖

“What’s- Christmas is tomorrow.” Buck points out with a small chuckle, but he tentatively takes the box. He glances at the tree in the corner, with a pile of gifts underneath, that they decorated together just a few days ago, after buying it together as well. It was the most domestic thing, and Eddie was dying to lean in and kiss Buck, or grab his hand, or just do anything, his feelings trying to leak out of him in any and all ways. Soon he’ll be able to shout it from the rooftops if he wants to. Hopefully.

“Yeah, but I wanted to give you one of your gifts a bit earlier.” Eddie scratches the back of his neck nervously. “Open it.” he adds excitedly when Buck’s just standing there, looking at the box. 

“Why am I the only one opening a gift early? What about you guys?” his frown deepens.

“Don’t worry about us, this is about you. Please?” he waves the question off, because it’ll all make sense in a minute.

“Just open it, Buck.” Christopher chimes in, excitement in his tone. Buck looks at him and his smile melts into fondness.

tricked myself into braving the grocery store this morning by envisioning in great detail the amazing breakfast sandwich i could make if only i had everything bagels extra sharp cheddar cheese and breakfast sausage patties and then came home and made the breakfast sandwich. dreams can come true

‘MOONMAN TAKES FLIGHT’

HOLLYWOOD ROCK STAR BANNED FROM MTV VMAS AFTER INCIDENT.

If you know anyone under the age of 25 then you will have heard of the band Dream Theory, who made waves in the pop-rock scene with their debut EP 'RECURRING DAYDREAM' released late last year. The band, comprised of frontman Wilbur Soot on vocals, accompanied by guitarist Tyler Parks, bassist Chris Matthews and drummer Evan Thompson, has been nominated for several big awards despite its short lifespan, including Best New Artist at the Grammy Awards in February.

Their success was placed under jeopardy last night at MTV's Video Music Awards, of which the band one award: Song of The Year for their song ‘MALADAPTIVE,' which debuted at number 3 on the Billboard charts. Cameras at the event last night captured frontman Wilbur Soot throwing the award at the head of bassist Chris Matthews.

Witnesses reported hearing the two arguing loudly in the bathroom after the ceremony with several theories rising that the altercation was over Soot's longtime girlfriend Maria Evans, who was seen entering the after-party with Matthews. No charges were pressed, but a statement from MTV confirmed that Soot has been banned from the event next year and has had his Grammy nomination rescinded, meaning in the event that Dream Theory takes home an award at the ceremony it will not be shared with Soot.

Maria Evans, when asked on Twitter said that 'Will and Chris have been having issues recently, this wasn't honestly that surprising.' A spokesperson for the band has said they will be reveiwing the incident, leaving Soot's place within the band under fire.

More of a fun fact than a making of, but I struggle a lot to not edit as I go, which slow me down so much, and a while ago I read a writing tip that said that setting the font to something you can't read helps with that (since you can't read it you can't edit and you keep writing). sooo since the holiday fic and the possessive fic are done, I'm starting the alive shannon fic, and here's a bit of the beginning - we start with the accident which she obviously will miraculously survive, and here's where we diverge from canon lol

it's gonna be angsty at the beginning, with the accident itself, and then Eddie and Shannon divorcing and figuring out co-parenting, and Buck's place in all of this lol it'll be fun, I'm excited haha

also, here is a snippet I posted before, it's a rough draft of a scene before I officially started writing haha

And for the first time ever on a scene, he freezes, just for a moment. He can’t say or do anything, just looks into Shannon’s eyes, as she’s being checked out and then transported onto a backboard. He focuses on those eyes – that he used to stare lovingly into when they were just a pair of stupid teenagers in love – and on the fact that she’s still breathing, she’s talking, she’s- he hates being a medic sometimes, because he can’t even delude himself into thinking that she’s going to be fine.

“I’m riding with her.” he hears himself say as they put her into the ambulance. He can’t leave her, can’t let her out of his sight, because if something happens, if- if she doesn’t- if she doesn’t make it, he’ll make sure someone who loves her will be by her side. Even if he’s the one who has to watch her die.

He already knows that it’s not looking good, that there aren’t a lot of chances for her to survive this, and when Chim says that if they put the tube in, it might never come back out- He’s sure he’ll lose her, and he’s barely holding it together as it is when he hears “get in there and say goodbye to your wife.” 

How can he say goodbye to the woman he still loves, to his first love, to the mother of his child? He never got a chance to say goodbye the first time she left, but at least then he knew she was still out there somewhere. Now, this… this is permanent. How can he say goodbye knowing that he'll never get to talk to her again, look into those eyes, hear her laugh with their son… that Christopher will never get to see her again?
