I have so many ideas already and not enough time to work on all of them... but lately an old idea has resurfaced in my memory..

Fullmetal Ed: This has been in my brain for 10 years, it plays out very similarly to the halloween special. Ed has graduated from reading comics to reading manga! He’s picked up a series called “Fullmetal Alchemist” and he’s very excited because the main character has the same name as him! While Edd and Eddy are stopping by to visit him, he receives a package! It’s a cosplay jacket of Edward Elric’s coat! Ed dons the bright red jacket and immediately his mind slips into fantasy land. All of a sudden, he finds himself in the world of fullmetal alchemist, and he, Edward Elric, must go on a quest to find his brother! 

He sees all of the eene characters as different fma characters, and they all get roped into Ed’s shenanigans for better or worse. Edd deduces the only way to pull him out of this trance is to play along with his charade and find this mysterious brother. In the end, they end up building an alphonse replica out of cardboard lol.

The characters Ed sees go as follows:

He sees Eddy as the homunculus, Greed

He sees Edd as Winfry, much to Edd’s embarrassment to roleplay as the love interest lmao

Kevin is Mustang

Rolf is Ling

Jonny is Gluttony

Plank is Pride

Nazz is Lust

Sarah is Envy

Jimmy is wrath (they have an eye-bandage which is really the only reason Ed sees them as that particular homunculus.)

Maybe a cameo with Ragnar, the dog I made for Rolf, and Nina lol... 

I can definitely see funny gags where Ed is actually using alchemy to create things from nothing, which confuses the hell out of Edd. 

Just thought I’d share because honestly I’m shocked I never did much with this idea 10 years ago lmfao
