do you struggle with confidence? well this is the post for you!

1. dont take 'advice'

riddle me this: why would you take criticism from someone who you don't admire or look up to? exactly. stop doing that. if someone tells you that you're dumb, but their grades aren't any better than yours, then don't take it to heart.

2. surround yourself with positivity

if you have friends that degrade you or make jokes at your expense, then get away from them. i know this is easier said than done but it'll be worth it in the end. instead of hanging around those fake friends, sit with different people at lunch. talk to your classmates. but whatever you do, don't stay around that negativity.

3. listen to songs that make you confident

this is gonna sound silly, but 'let it go.' i'm dead serious, too. it is literally about letting go. but don't listen to the depressing parts, like when she says "the wind is howling like this swirling storm inside." there's nothing wrong with relating to that lyric, but it won't make you feel better. listen to the chorus. let it go, don't care what they're going to say, don't hold it back anymore.

4. the 5 by 5 rule

if it's not going to matter in 5 years, dont spend more than 5 minutes being upset by it. it's that simple.

The whole car ride to the restaurant, chris had his and on your thigh and every once in a while, he'd move his hand up and do a circle motion with his thumb on your upper thigh, and you just couldn't help it but have dirty scenerios in your head. You couldn't wait to get home tonight.
