Well technically no one in Douselfend IS actually roman, they would have different origins. They just know about Earth and it's history.

I should also say as a history nerd, a LOT, if not all, of my OCS/settings are based off history and historical fiction. So, if I had to pinpoint a specific place to be Douselfend's 'Rome', it's probably these guys here.

I plan on expanding this in future works (hopefully a comic,,hehe) but I can confirm Earth is real.

Douselfend is apart of the Milky Way (technically), which means Skywaiy/Toolah/Starless are like if Earth had weird cousins, if that makes any sense.

So yeah, they know about Rome.

wait why does emotas summon a martini (from the ref sheet)

emotas can summon/create objects and he is also a bartender so he summons a lot of drinks instead of just making them himself. once touched by someone else they materialize into normal colors. the martini was just an example of how the palette can be used

bonus fact emotas and aka are the only gods that can summon objects, though emotas' objects are sometimes a little messed up. (not summoned drinks/food though, hes been working for years and hes gotten pretty good at it.)

lil ol' emotas ever wear any other masks

nope!

his mask was made specifically to work as a normal face, so it's really the only one he needs. (it can emote, blink, lets him talk and see, yadda yadda)

don't worry, he washes it. the base of it was made from a plate so he just puts it in the dishwasher and asks a friend to get it for him when it's ready, usually daymond or roxy.

since it's magical and all its pretty resistant, so they don't worry about it breaking.

preschool au a la muppet babies

preschool au solar (character ive never talked abt here SORRY) is the teacher

savari can already write and is reading on a 2nd grade level

calum and lillith can't stop fighting and each get put in timeout about 4 times a day

olez is doing one of those shape sorter boxes and is crying because the heart shape got stuck in the star hole because he forcibly put it in there. archie is sitting next to him calmly trying to eat one of those plastic bears. solar is desperately trying to keep plastic bears away form archie while also trying to calm down olez.

roman and monte are sometimes problems but one day monte tells roman 'momma is gonna sell you to the circus because she hates you' and this upsets roman so much he takes all his 4 year old strength and whacks him with one of the hard cover 'learn to spell' books. they both have to stay home for a week.

pinecone always stays awake during naptime but falls asleep everywhere else. he falls asleep while on a swing and falls face first into the dirt. he gets up with no reaction and immediately starts wiping the dirt off his face and eating it. solar has never run so fast in their life.

I love The Guys and their names! do they just like to hang out around emotas sometimes? or are they summoned only? how do they work

the guys LOVE to hang around emotas. they r like chihuahuas with magical properties. they will usually just vibe on emotas' shoulders an such. sometimes they will latch onto his clothing and will just hang there until forcibly removed.

as for how they appear, they can either be summoned by emotas (he just calls their name out and they appear with a pink poof of magic somewhere around him) or they just. appear on their own. the guys like attention so sometimes they will just show up whenever. most of the time its while emotas is working, so sometimes he has to wrangle them up so they dont go knocking over glasses.

the guys were created/summoned by emotas when he was stuck in the void. without his face he couldnt see or really do much himself, so the guys were like a pack of service dogs for him. the guys can somewhat shapeshift as well, occasionally turning into floating magic pink hands to help carry things.

for the second one, when i name my places, i tend to just smash sounds i like together until something feels right. not all of them ofc (like dagger island obs isnt), but most are.

as for the name itself, i dont remember? i first came up with it when i was just starting middle school? mayyybe end of elementary? so honestly no clue. douselfend was actually the name of one of the planets, but i changed it when i realized i wanted to put more focus on the other planets as well, so it became the universe name instead so i could keep it as the title!

this blog is only for my original ocs in the douselfend universe, so nothing fandom related, sorry! if you ever have a question/wanna know more about my fandom ocs, just ask me on my main blog!

I can’t just list every character here, so here’s the link the the toyhouse folder they are all in! you can ask any character a question, and keep in mind not all characters have a profile yet. however i’m always trying to add more!

2- questions can be asked about the character (which I will answer) or to the character (which will be answered by the character, with a drawing or two attached!). please specify when you want a question to be answered by a certain character or by me. thank u!
