asking my mother if she wants to come along to see an exhibition in the city tomorrow and she’s like yes! but i will only see the building, i don’t think i’ll go see the exhibition.
my mother who birthed me, then why the fuck are you coming along? to stand outside and time pressure me while i go see the exhibition? are you going to do like last time, so i don’t get to see the whole exhibition?
and she’s like what time? and as i start answering the question she…fucking…leaves.
Alphonse Mucha's exhibition, which I visited two weeks ago, gave me incredible aesthetic pleasure. And in my opinion, some of the female images in Mucha's works were made under the influence of Botticelli's Venus.
This once again, this exists more as a personal note of what I wish to explore further and, in more depth, my preferences within art. This list exists as a reference for topics/artists/movements/periods that I may wish to explore within my essay writing and to refer to for idea generating.
(This post might get potentially more updated as I discover more artists and topics through my studies). However, this is a main short list of ideas as these are only the general and basic ideas for me to delve into.
Bellow is a list with some photos of artworks I enjoy and other, sometimes with links to the more contemporary artists pages/where to find them:

this painting is on november in my klimt calendar and every day i look at it i keep being amazed by how november it is
the subject losing herself in the grayness, barely indistinctive from the background, the melancholic thousand yard stare, the wisp of hair escaping the meticulous hairstyle....... just november.
