Heyo :3 Just a short little question for Garth. If you could go back and change anything in your past, what would you chose and why?

I need some specific connotations before making this kind of decision if I'm going to be honest.

If this is personal history, I guess I would have maybe went to all the locations during warp point.

I could have also handle the incident with "L Is Real" A bit better. I could have just looked it up on the internet rather than having to do a Mission Improbable situation. I didn't have to upset Winona.

Or if we're going even earlier, I would probably try to change grades so my parents don't get as upset.

If we're talking far back in time.

I don't really want to mess with that.

I don't know this is one of those universes where if you change one thing, everything is going to change like the butterfly effect.

I mean I know there is the time machine that Egadd has in his storage, the one Kooky has. And that other time machine that that weird edutainment game got made.

But it I'm not entirely sure if I should touch those without supervision of some sort.

I don't want to change the past and be living underneath the reign of Morton Koopa or a timeline without the SUPERS.

Shitty game idea; Super Mario MMORPG

Bassicly; you get to play as an npc in the Mario Universe, you can play as a Toad, Koopa, Shiverian, Beanish, Yoshi, Birdo, Kong, whatever, customize them however you like, and essentially play an online Mario RPG.

The game would allow you to visit all sorts of places in the Mario Universe, Mushroom Kingdom, Delphino Plaza, New Donk City, BeanBean Kingdom, Rougeport, Sarassaland, Yoshi's Island, DK isles, Diamond City and you and a group of friends take on quests from various Mario charecters. Of course there will be main quests, but bassicly the whole game will be focused on immersing yourself in the Mario Universe and all it's wackiness.

The battle system will be simalar to Paper Mario, with you pulling off action commands to preform attacks with the dodging system of Mario and Luigi. Each different species will be a different class and each party member will be able to have 4-5 moves that they can choose from at a time, as well as items and equipment that can raise attack defense magic etc. The game will use highly detailed 2D sprites like the first 3 Mario and Luigi games with low poly pop up book style environments like Paper Mario.

So bassicly it will be a celebration of everything Mario, But with a focus on the RPGS like Super Mario RPG, Paper Mario, Mario and Luigi, and Mario+Rabbids

More redesigns for my Mario princesses. Princess Dulcamara Belladonna and Princess Pearl Waterlily. Dulcamara is the princess of Boos and general spooky creatures, and Pearl is the princess of the ocean creatures and, more specifically, Isle Delphino. I only adjusted Dulcamara’s skintone and the arrangement of colors a bit; Pearl I gave more lace details to, and changed the palette to be less clashing and more of a pretty water-y gradient.

Dulcamara and Pearl are both very graceful, soft-spoken princesses. Dulcy is more dainty, never smiles and stares right through you like she’s sizing you up for dinner. Pearl is sturdier, stands taller and speaks more, and is generally more compassionate than Dulcy. Pearl will offer you tea and cookies, and Dulcy will try to poison them so she can watch you squirm. Pearl usually stops her from doing this, unless you’re a dangerous enemy, like a serial killer or something, in which case Pearl is happy to let her friend do her thing.

I had a dream that I was in a weird situation where I was on an Isle Delphino kind of place and apparently Spongebob had been erased from existence and that brought about chaos so I ended up having to round up as many citizens as I could onto a boat while a giant sea monster ate the rest.

I’m not sure if it was connected or separate but I also had a dream I had to collect papers(?) for someone within a time frame on this big lonely island with castles and lakes and gazebos and I kept finding broken gravestones everywhere.

The side quest I forgot to finish

Okay so after the whole Warp fiasco.

There was this guy at an auto body shop in Agridulce.

I bring this up because I was actually involved in a side quest with him.

He wanted to try out new energy sources for his vehicle.

Well guess who found out that I forgot about this quest.

Mario and my Mom.

So for today's training, I had to do a mini globetrotting adventure again.

Collect a few different power sources for this guy.

Shine.

Solar power seemed easy enough. It was just some simple swimming challenge. I would have done it in Delfino Island if I had gone there during Warp Point. I'm going to be honest I'm glad that I can swim without an air meter or anything. I think it's the same reason why I can breathe in space.

Merkite Stone:

I have to head back into the caverns to get this one. It was a simple enough task, the hard part was actually trying to get the Merkite out of the cave. I ended up just paying some goomba to dig it out.

A jar of cosmic pitch:

I had to spend 5,000 coins on this on the off chance that it would work.

I'm not saying where i bought it.

And then I punched that guy in the face and ran off.

AAA battery

This one was more of a giggle rather than any actual seriousness. I found it in a trash can next to the box I found the power star in.

And so I brought everything to the guy to see what worked.

And to my surprise, nothing.

Then Mom and Mario said the lesson about peerseverance and all that stuff.

And then I wrote this.

I know I said “Feast your eyes” as a pun before, but last time I was referring to what the characters in the picture were doing. This time I’m telling you to feast your eyes, so it still counts.

This is day 15 of Drawtober, day 5 of “Midnight Feast.” It fits better because it’s nighttime for me right now, it was a busy day so the picture came late. It’s just a simple sketchdump, but I’m proud of the designs nonetheless. Yesterday’s princess awakened my nostalgic inner twelve-year-old who drew Mario princesses incessantly, so I redid some of my old characters from back then. The princess descriptions are under the cut.

1: Princess Aubergine (aka eggplant, get it, ehh), the Yoshi’s ruler. She’s just as curious and bouncy as the dinosaurs she leads, and it’s quite a sight to see such a dignified woman racing down a hill after a butterfly, followed by a crowd of cheering lizards. She’s always hungry for knowledge and, well, just hungry in general.

2: Princess Dulcamara (a nightshade), the Boo’s second in command. King Boo is in charge, of course, but Dulcie earned his favor and was offered the title, turning her into a poltergeist. She’s silent and sinister, smiling as she slips a drop of poison into your cup. Not out of meanness, but because if you die, you can join her kingdom!

3. Princess Nettle. She’s a nutty pyrochemist who made buddies with a bunch of bob-ombs, bullet bills, and chain chomps. Bob-omb King went “oh, neat” and started telling everyone she was his princess. Nettle went, “oh, neat” and agreed with him. Now she hangs out at his castle, building bombs and blowing stuff up.

4. Princess Ivy, my second princess ever, drastically different from her old design. She used to be all in green, with a mermaid skirt. Now she’s decked in a leather jacket, gold scales, and flames. She was originally the only babysitter who could survive the Koopa Kids’ antics. She got so popular with the kids that Bowser essentially adopted her, so now she’s a Koopa Princess.

5. Princess Venus (like the fly trap), the Piranha Plant ruler. Besties with Petey. Utter snob, manipulative predator, thinks she’s much more attractive than she actually is. If you make her mad, she will first try to turn everyone against you, and if that doesn’t work, she will literally try to eat you.

6. Princess Amanita (the mushroom toads are based on), the Goomba second in command. She was a normal Goomba offered the Super Crown by the Goomba King. He had no children, so he had to choose an heir. She is endlessly cheerful to the point of being annoying, and somewhat naive, but usually has the best of intentions.

7. Princess Pearl Lilypad, my first ever princess, who used to be just a blue Princess Peach. She rules the Piantas in Isle Delphino, but most Piantas in the universe declare fealty to her. She’s the most mature of the princesses, most diplomatic and aware of what it takes to rule a kingdom. Usually to busy actually running the show to play games or throw parties. Happy to help others when they need it, and has successfully made many allies and treaties.

Hiatus incoming

Starting tomorrow (March 13th). I will be going on a hiatus to prepare for the SUPER centennial the following month.

So I'm not going to be posting any new stories.

ill still answer asks and interact on discord.
