Also, friendly reminder that Veyle in Evil mode as teleportation power and that she steal a time rewind crystal, meaning that even if Alear and the other noticed her stealing the Dragonic crystal, she could have just rewind using it anyway... only the one using it is aware of it usage, that's how rewinding works, so even if it happened, Alear wouldn't know it anyway

as convoluted as it's sounds, or as dumb as it sounds, it's still is explained that she sneak it back while Alear was being distraught by Zephia and while it seemed like eternity to us due to the cutscene being long, them presenting themselves must have tooken like what ? a few seconds ? How she does it has been ridiculously overthought when you can literaly answer " a wizard did it" in the context of Fire emblem.

I agree that it's a clumsy scene when it comes to the stealing part but when Veyle can literaly use her magic power to do that, overthinking "but how could she steal the dragonic crystal without Alear noticing it ?" is dumb since it can literaly be explained that way. And I doubt Veyle would write a long expose as to how she stole it.

the thing that bothers me about dragon riders is that the dragon absolutely does not have to let you climb on its back. your ability to 'ride' the dragon is entirely dependent on the dragon allowing you to do that. it could fly just fine without you sitting there. which means you are not a dragon rider, not really. that beast is not your pet. you're the dragon's pet. you're its trophy wife.
