So I want to say something about the various tips about job interviewing that I’ve seen and reposted. THINK OF THEM AS CHEAT CODES. Especially if you are ND.
Part of the reason hiring managers, especially in tech, ask questions like “tell me how you handled a conflict” is because we’re hoping for an answer that shows how you looked for a solution to an issue and how you handle any pushback. Do I want to occasionally tell coworkers to fuck off and stop being a pain in the ass? Of course I do. Doing that won’t fix things, so I rein in my temper, come up with a solution, and when the coworker is still a pain, I point out that I offered a solution, please get back to me when they have some workable solutions we can discuss.
Let me put it another way: I interviewed a dude for a position on my team. His resume was great, he was exactly the sort of writer I was looking for. He showed up to the Zoom interview in a sleeveless ripped t-shirt, put his bare feet up on the desk, and used “fucking” in every answer.
I am not a formal office type. This is known. But his behavior showed he wouldn’t be a useful member of my team because he wasn’t showing the basic courtesy of understanding it was an important conversation. He presented himself as an example of a middle-aged white tech dude who didn’t think he had to take other people into consideration.
The way modern business interviews are structured isn’t going to change any time soon, more’s the pity. THE INTERVIEW TIPS ARE CHEAT CODES. Use them.
EDITED TO ADD IN RELATION TO OFFICE JOBS: if you (generic) have gotten to where the hiring manager is talking to you, they have to think about if you will be mostly a help to the team (mostly because everyone is going to have times where things fall apart), or if you will be someone who the team and co-workers have to work “around” in order to get things done.

It's amazing how every "Face to Face Interview Tip" boils down to NOT BE NEURODIVERGENT: - no fidgeting (yeah, right, look at how much I would not stim in a highly stressful situation); - looking the interviewer in the eyes (ew, too personal, I don't wanna look into your soul); - don't lose yourself in a tangent (just the one? My brain is already on 14 tangents at least); - dress up (uncomfortable and itchy); - don't be awkward (pal, if I knew how to do that my whole life would've been easier): - BE YOURSELF (wtf dude... you just told me to be THE OPPOSITE of myself). So yeah, I hope my skills will make up for my general weirdness. Pls, send me good vibes for tomorrow's interview because I'll need to roll high on CHAR! XDD

job hunt tipssssss (and lessons learnt..)
Tumblr media
tailor your resume to each position you apply
(1) always make your employers' job easier
include only the relevant experience and keep the descriptions straightforward.. recruiters are basically just ticking boxes, make it easy for them to do so or expect them to bin your CV after a quick glance
(2) have too many part-time/work gaps?
i highly recommend using a skill-based CV than a chronological CV for this case; not only is it waaaaaaaaaay easier to prepare but also makes your experience look more put-together since you can mix & match your relevant skills.. give it a shot if you've inconsistent work history or want to have a career change; i should mention it's also a game changer for people whom English isn't the first language
(3) review your cover letter before heading to an interview
i mean you've already explained why you're a great fit for the job in the application, just take advantage of that effort and reiterate everything during the interview --- preparation done!
Tumblr media
dont use the same answer for interviews
.. it'll definitely make you come across as average
there are 3 key and frequently asked questions you should be ready for:
(1) tell me about yourself
start with a basic introduction, followed by your previous work experience (again, making them relevant to the job) and wrap up with a glimpse of your personality -- for instance, say something like.. I see myself as an ambitious and self-motivated person (.. and how these qualities fit the job profile!)
(2) what do you know about us/ why do you want to work for us
always research the company; mention its values or services, and how they resonate with you
(3) what can you offer us/ why do you think you suit this job
highlight how your experience aligns with the job requirements; this demonstrates your dedication and preparation.. and also shows the employer what they can expect from you
i hate interviews (who doesnt?).. i believe many of us are very qualified for jobs we're interested in but often struggle to demonstrate our competence effectively; my way to make the process less agitating is to view it as a cool opportunity for employers to learn about us: it's not an exam.. rather, it's a level playing field where two or more strangers come together to mutually explore each other.
This is your chance (after putting so much effort into preparing the application) to shine and let them know you're the perfect fit for the job they're offering!
Tumblr media
never trust the reaction of the interviewer!
some interviewers acted super affirmative to each of my responses, making me feel like i was nailing the interview.. but then i ended up getting no job; i understand the intention is to encourage interviewees during the process, but pls dont take them too seriously and get carried away
stay focused and humble instead
Tumblr media
always reflect after each experience (exactly what i'm doing now)
it's important to reflect on your performance and seek improvement for future applications
i always discover areas that could be done better while preparing for new job applications, even though i felt that i'd already given my best for the last one
the competition is fierce but dont worry about competing with other stronger candidates (what you cant control); instead, concentrate on what you can control which is demonstrating how you're the best candidate!
always put yourself in your employer's shoes and do the homework; focus on the good and keep trying, one day all your hard work will pay off and get the job you deserve
.
(i regret so much that i didnt perform better during my interview just nw🥲i dont want the same thing to happen to you, pls take my tips and prepare as much as you cn💔)

Why Should We Hire You: 7 Best Answers to the Interview Question
A job interview is a stressful situation for all of us. You will be face-to-face with a prospective employer and have to answer various questions about your qualification, skills, and work experience. One of these questions may sound like this: “Why should we hire you?”.
In order not to fail the job interview, let’s look at the mistakes that you need to avoid:
Lack of preparation. To feel confident during an interview, you need to take some time and prepare. Try to find those 3-4 skills that you can tell the employer about, and present them as your advantages over other candidates.
Do not respond with typical, generalized phrases: “I am smart, skilled, and driven, and I want to get this job.” Your goal is to stand out from other job applicants. But everyone can answer with such a template phrase.
Modesty. An interview is not the time or place to be modest. Of course, this does not mean that you need to immediately declare that you are an ideal candidate. Just state the facts: I won this award, I achieved this, I have 10 years of experience, I got a promotion, I broke a sales record, etc. Or you can quote a manager or employer: “The boss said that I…“.
Don’t talk too much about yourself. It is enough to list a few basic skills that meet the requirements for the position. Read post “Tell Me About Yourself”: How to Introduce Yourself in a Job Interview, Sample Answers.”
When comparing yourself to other candidates, it is important not to praise yourself and not to look like a self-conceited boaster.
Example Answers to the Interview Question” Why We Should Hire You?”
Answer #1
“I have all the necessary skills and work experience to cope with the project manager’s responsibilities.
In addition to my successful experience in managing and implementing projects, I also have excellent communication skills: I have always found a common language with customers, developers, and suppliers. Moreover, for me, this area of activity is not just a job, this is exactly what I like to do.”
Answer #2
“After reading the job ad for a programmer, I realized that I meet all your requirements.
I have four years of programming experience. At the same time, I have good communication skills. For a long time, I worked directly with senior executives. That is why I am 100% prepared to work on large interagency projects. I will join the work process on the first day, and will be very glad to have this opportunity."
Answer #3
"That's a good question! You have a slight advantage as you know exactly who you are looking for.
But from the vacancy announcement, I understand that you are looking for someone who can quickly and effectively solve customer problems.
In this case, I want to say that I am a great fit for this position. And in confirmation, I would like to say that I repeatedly faced difficult clients at my last job who were extremely categorical and wanted to immediately terminate the service contract.
But I was able not only to persuade them to stay but also to convince the client that we are the best on the market. Thanks to this, at my previous work, I have received the honorary title of "best employee" for two years in a row."
Answer #4
"Firstly, I have the necessary experience - this is 2 years of work on television. And, secondly, a great desire to try as a producer's assistant.
In the last years of study at University X, I began to undergo training at... Later I was invited to stay there to work. I am familiar with all the processes of TV production and even participated in the editing of several episodes. I have a reputation as an employee who can quickly complete any task, even with a smile.
I like this field of work, this is exactly what I want to do next.”
Why Should We Hire You? Answer #5
"As far as I understand, your company is looking for an experienced marketer to create an effective strategy for distributing and selling products at new market segments.
While working at Company X, I was able to achieve a 25% increase in sales by implementing targeted advertising on social media.
I would like to help your company achieve the same results because I have the necessary knowledge and experience. I can analyze competitors, I can choose the right strategy for development and I can identify free niches for distributing your products.”
Answer #6
"The ad says you are looking for an employee who is patient, organized, and has excellent communication skills.
While volunteering for the National Paralympic Committee, I have learned to be patient, loyal, and kind to athletes and Paralympic participants. I organized and coordinated various events for athletes. It helped me to develop the communication and planning skills that are needed for the work at your company.”
Answer #7
"I think I'm suited for the position of Restaurant Manager. I have five years of experience. During this time I was able to increase profits for the restaurant owner by 27%, as well as optimize the purchase of products and, thus, reduce costs.
In addition, I am familiar with all the stages and processes that are somehow connected with the restaurant business. I went through several stages before becoming a manager: I started my career as a waiter, and after six months I was promoted to shift manager.”

How to answer tell me about yourself? - interview question for fresher
Tumblr media
INTRODUCTION:
The first question that every applicant was asked in their interview is "Tell me about yourself", or indirectly ask questions that point toward the same thing. Let us discuss something about how efficiently present yourself and respond to questions during your Freshers Jobs interview as well as pursue our placement objective.
The question could be like
’Tell me about yourself”
 “Introduce yourself”
   “Walk me through your resume”
“Tell Me Something About Yourself that’s not on your resume”
    “How would you describe yourself?
What is the idea behind the question- Tell me about Yourself?
The reason behind asking the question tell about yourself right at the beginning of an interview is, to give a brief, concise walkthrough of your educational background and narration that highlights significant bits of your experience from your internship and project work.
Give me some broad background about yourself before we dive into details. Here is where all the job-seekers especially fresher are mostly unsure about what the employers are expecting to hear from us.
Your answer should cover "a brief description of yourself."
your answer should reflect confidently where you are i-e shows your confidence level..
your answer should cover how efficiently you could communicate your answers and ideas.
Tips to Remember- Before you answer the question – Tell me about yourself
More importantly, you should project yourself as you are a pleasing as well as confident personality without sounding so arrogant or impatient .you always listen to their conversation completely before you start, during your interview for Jobs Near Me For Freshers.
Pay attention to your grammar always. Do use “I am”, or “My name is” instead of myself, me.
When it comes to talk about your qualification always talk about your highest qualification. Highlight your skill that is appropriate to this job requirement.
For example, I am a master's in information technology with certification in web design or I am a graduate in business management with a top ranking in university. You focus these on your answer and tell how you take part and apply this skill, while you are working with this company, that will arouse curiosity, at the same time be careful about it should match the job requirement.
As a fresher, you clearly explain your project during university, and what skills you applied to complete your project. How your project knowledge will be beneficial to this company?
If you have attended or participated in any college events and have won any awards or accolades, please include them in your self-introduction.
Don’t forget to mention your hobbies and area of interest.
For Example: During my free time, I would like to travel around and write blogs about my experience and share my knowledge. This kind of response reveals your creative side and that you enjoy expanding your horizons and exploring new things. Just follow Fresher Job Alert for further updates.
You should be careful to conclude your introduction appropriately. You must end the conversation with mention your reason for being interested in this profession. Mentioning your role model or your goal will be more impressive.
For example, suppose you are appearing for an interview for a web developer position. In that case, you tell about how passionate you are towards web design and how you contribute yourself to business productivity. Confidently say I would like to put my skills to use, learn and develop with your business, and offer your customers top-notch services.
 Conclusion:
Whatever your response, make sure to repeatedly practice it aloud so it will come naturally to you during the interview for Freshers Jobs. Try not
to wing it because that is how people stumble and make mistakes. You won't have any trouble answering this question if you prepare your response beforehand and rehearse it.

Who am i?
Tumblr media
This will be a spare time blog where I mix my libido and passion to help people find employment. Who am I? My real identity will remain a secret so I will use pictures of other but I am want I have come to call a "Job Coach" I come from agency recruitment and leading a companies HR and recruitment function and now privately help the unemployed find long term work to get away from homeliness and other bad situations.
What do I do?
I don't get you the job, I don't take fees from clients, I don't work hard play hard in an office. I coach and help build skillsets and pre-employment skills so others can get themselves employment. It don't always sound the most pleasant but in my years I have done all the work to have people walk out of a job 2 weeks later and lose my commission and my income from people who didn't really need work or want it. I now asses my clients based on needs and employability and help them get away from government benefits or homeliness or the anxiety of finding a job after school.
I primarily work in the area of both visible and in-visible disabilities - coach those who have a lot more trouble finding and getting employment based on barriers and biases of hiring someone with a disability.
What will i do here?
I am going to share how I help my clients work towards their employment goals such as
CV writing skills
Interview skills
Reverse marketing a job to suit you
Negotiating salary and benefits
Career building tactics to constantly grow
This will be mixed homo erotic's scenarios that I have either done or would like to fantasize about so its not just some boring page.
This is also not a "get rich quick" or "fake your way to CEO" because if that was possible I would be both but I do know how to ensure that you have long lasting employment where you are in control and not the employer.
