you can’t knowingly fuck a criminal and then turn around and get mad at them for doing something unethical, dubiously moral or illegal that directly involves you. what about this man made you think he follows the laws, is ethical or even moral? you knew damn well that he killed people for a living. how are you going to date someone whose probably on the FBI’s most wanted list (top 10) and then turn around and be surprised that he invaded your privacy? make it make sense. you can be mad at him all you want but shawty the man has proven time and time again who he is as a person. if this mother fucker is out here willingly killing bitches and has probably broken the geneva convention on multiple occasions what makes you think you’ll be exempt 😭? don’t be shy share with the class?

being selected for a random check at security check at the airport was making me have thoughts like “what if i accidentally bought a gun and packed it without remembering” and “what if i accidentally made a bomb with my toothpaste and skincare products” and “what if someone put drugs in my backpack on the metro” and the like

I haven't really shared my thoughts on My Adventures with Superman so far in detail but they've been broadly positive! The strongest part of the show is definitely the characterisation -- Lois, Clark, and Jimmy all feel perfect. Some of their dynamics and interactions are different compared to usual Superman continuities but it all works in the specific context the show set up (being interns/rookie journalists who join TDP at around the same time, and Clark and Jimmy being college friends).
The weakest part of the show imo is some of the designs and the general kind of broad sci-fi reinterpretation of some of the villains. For some it works but for others I really wish they had kept more classic elements of the characters or had gone a bit further with their reinterpretation and really made them interesting in the new contexts.
This is about as much as I can say vaguely so:
Spoilers up to episode 7 under cut!
I didn't really like how they did Silver Banshee in particular -- Siobhan's design feels pretty lame in comparison to her in the comics and the reinterpretation of her powers fell flat for me. I also really didn't understand why they associated her with Interpol, or even where they're going with Intergang in general -- are we going to have a connection with Apokolips?
To expand on the Lois, Clark, Jimmy dynamics: there was a lot of backlash to how Lois responded to learning that Clark is Superman and I could definitely see it being informed by misogyny which is unfortunately unsurprising. The first episode of the show literally sets up the foundation of their relationship as the truth -- it would make less sense for Lois not to be upset. As expanded on in the next episodes, the bit I really liked in particular was how Lois seemed to be unsure of how much Clark had been lying to her regarding his persona and their relationship. The way it was written felt pretty natural and true to the core of both Lois and Clark. What really cinched it for me is Clark confessing that he didn't want to tell Jimmy and Lois because he didn't want them to see him as different, like, that's it, that's exactly what I'm looking for.
I definitely wouldn't have put the reveal so early in the series but it works for what it is! And I'm excited to see a dynamic of Lois and Jimmy helping Clark, just new to being Superman, discover more about his heritage/powers/identity, I don't think I've ever really seen it before and it has loads of potential.
One last thing I wanted to share my thoughts on is that I was pretty disappointed with how Episode 7 ended. I thought we were past Evil Superman by now but I guess not. I really don't want to do an Injustice lmao. I hope this plot point gets resolved speedily because it's just kind of nothing to me
Once again, overall I really like the series so far and I'm excited to keep watching :)

Neyla: Well alright, these things happen. But how do we know that the man Carmelita arrested didn't commit the murders?
Barkley: Very simple!
Barkley: Dead people don't go around committing more murders!

In school, Dawn was the prime example of an underachiever and was a student that did the absolute bare minimum for her classes. All of her classes, except for those that revolved around mock battles, learning type match-ups/status effects, and wilderness survival. Basically, any class that didn't involve getting her prepared for her eventual trek across the Sinnoh region, she was not interested in.
If she would have chose to try, she would have excelled very well given her capacity to learn and retain information. She barely scrapped by with C's in most of her other courses. It didn't help either that in some classes, she was sat in the back by the window with a perfect view of the outdoors, overlooking one of the school's battle arenas. She tended to watch other students battle, taking note in her head of the glaring mistakes they'd make, along with the excellent moves and strategies they utilized on the flipside.
Her battle courses allowed her to make a name for herself in the school. Dawn excelled far beyond any of the other students, with Barry being the only one that could hold a candle to her. They'd frequently go back to his house after school, and watch Cynthia's televised battles that his mom was so kind to record for them. It was another point of study for the two of them, and, well... it was Cynthia. She was Dawn's biggest idol and inspiration growing up, after all.
Dawn went undefeated in her battle courses, painting a target on her back for other students to attempt to take her down with more fervor. This also extended to outside of these classes, other students taking her skill over them personally. She was frequently picked on and pushed around, up until her bullies realized they were getting no reaction from her. They mostly left Dawn alone after this. Barry was her only friend at school, and more often than not, she was with him, or she was completely alone.
