#intentionalhome My husband and son are out numbered. Can you imagine being surrounded by 6 young ladies, yes one of those ladies include me. Yes, my husband has become the principle of our homeschool. He gets calls about his students. Let's face it, sometimes you have students who do not want to do their lessons for the day. I don't let it brother me anymore, I tell my students you can get it done with me, or you can do it when the principle comes home. I learned to pick my battles and leave the rest for the principle. I drive by this house everyday on my way to work. When we shot this, the barn was behind the camera and we stood in its shadow to keep us from overheating in the summer sun. // We tipped shrubs down and lined the base of the garden with a faux hedge. I brought lanterns to set on the steps. We are facing south west and this is late morning light in America's heartland. // We installed @hunterdouglas shutters in the porch and the rest of the house.
