things i need from TADC:

kinger reveals more and more stuff, but it’s downplayed because he’s ‘wacky’ and ‘has lost his mind’

kinger is the. the guy that made TADC. or at least played a reeeaaally big role in it! and everyone is like ‘wtf but he’s KINGER???’ when they find out

queenie is brought up

the names of the abstracted are forgotten and during the next episode nobody can even say ‘kaufmo’, they just say ‘the clown’

kinger gets very angry for no reason

gangle gets very angry probably because of jax and snaps at him (go girl go!)

jax has a horrible breakdown at some point revealing how much he actually feels and that his whole laidback attitude is a façade

caine is actually a human made to believe he is an AI WOOHOO YEAH

After making the main cast in low poly N64-ish style, I decided to try making some of the mysterious abstracted characters from the hallway doors, especially after seeing this heart melting little youtube animation with a couple of them by INUbis. I had to guess a bit about their anatomy below the neck, and they don't have canonical names yet (except Queenie), until we get real names (or better ideas) I'm gonna nickname them "Doggo", "Wormstring", and "Sockzor", just for now XD All of this is probably wrong, but we'll see if we find out in the series. I like to think Ragatha and Doggo always kept an eye out for each other and were always there for each other, kinda like Gumby and Pokey except way sadder. Also, I didn't even realize until after I made it that I made Doggo pretty close to Pomni's height...

I imagine Queenie having much more confident mannerisms than Kinger, and generally having more of an air of knowing what she's doing. Kaufmo's generic font text is, of course, voiced by Jack Black, as always.

ngl it would be so cool if this happened (not really cus caine sends the abstracted to a pit like damn) if more characters get abstracted i hope it’s different designs for each one that somehowwwww relate to their normal form?? Idk

I’ve seen this theory which the ending scene relates to The Last Supper and some other details which im forgot but I love the idea I think it’s cool af

this may be because i am way into a novel i read once ("taken" by erin bowman), but, like, what if abstraction is actually a good thing?

obviously, i am immensely reaching, but in the book "taken" - spoilers for that, by the way - a guy named gray lives his life in a town called claysoot believing that, on his 18th birthday, he will die, because all boys from that town mysteriously disappear on their 18th birthday. however, it turns out like this: on his 18th birthday, he's only picked up by a helicopter and taken to the outside world, and claysoot was artificially built a few decades ago. the outside world is worse, but turns out this so-called/so-thought 'death' is actually liberation from the town and exposes him to the truth of his world.

so, like... you see my point, right? what if abstraction isn't 'digital death', but actually 'digital escape'? what if kaufmo is actually now free to go back to his human body?

of course, there are some holes in this theory... mainly because we see the cellar of other abstracted humans. the problem with this being shown to us is that this theory is immediately put down because we can still see the abstracted, they haven't gone anywhere.

still... that's not total confirmation that they are still alive in there. their eyes are blinking, yeah, but maybe that's just a preset thing.

i don't know, this is just something i was (over)thinking about the other day and i saw this theory on youtube just now, so i thought i'd give my own reasoning for it since i had it cross my mind before seeing it pop up.
