i think a woman’s mental state has to hit a colossal low for her to just stop taking care of her evil mother-in-law or even doing the bare minimum for her, like making her food or offering her help or simply put, other domestic tasks. you get it.

knowing that you will be the villain in the story and everyone will only tear you apart for taking that step, despite having taken a load of crap from someone who was supposed to be your mother figure (and often, the husband too), and doing it anyway... man, that takes courage. and a very highly vibrating “i dont give a single flying fuck about u bitches, come n smd” energy.

it’s the biggest middle finger a married woman can show to her extended family and the society. it’s absolutely unhinged and creates such chaos and drama but lord, it’s a freedom of its own.
