#but no for real i don't think they Sucks per se (or i wouldn't tell someone who likes it that their guys Sucks) #it's just #i dunno #i ate my fill of it after playing y0 in 2019 (i only went and finished k1 etc this year) #but it feels like other people reaching that point in RGG fandom is rare #and idk if that's just people treating it like fast fashion and dropping for something new every year #or if people really are just sticking with the most base level popular ship content and not ever branching out #in spite of every game introducing a wealth of interesting new and old characters #but it's hard to tell if i genuinely do dislike them or if i'm misdirecting anger from seeing them Everywhere over other pairings i prefer #because i enjoy ryoma/okita (though it still isn't really my first choice #and i don't think of the ishin counterparts as being the same characters) #idk after playing like 3 and 5 and 7 and having the context of original 1 & 2 stock kiryu/maji is just so nothing to me in comparison #me #text #ask #anon
