✉Haru: He's definitely the best secret admirer out there. You'll never suspect him. He admitted that he has a crush on you but didn't know how to handle it. So he got some advice from friends.

"You got a letter? Who gave it to you? Do you think you'll respond back?"-Haru

✉Makoto: Is a literal nervous mess. He's nervous and shy. He askes you very specific suspicious and obvious questions regarding the letter. He is relieved you don't think the letter is weird

"So, y/n did you see anything strange today... or did you get anything??" -Makoto

Nagisa: Gets super very excited. Can't keep a secret worth nothing. Tells everyone what he's done.He giggling and asking if you seen something different today (pointing to the obvious)

"Rei chan, look what I wrote for y/n! She's never guess it me♡!!- Nagisa

Rei: He's shy but also is prideful how he woorded the letter. He tells Nagisa how you'll never suspect him. What makes its obvious its him he leaves clever well written riddles

"That is correct, it was I. Did you like what I wrote?"-Rei

Rin: He got the idea from gou and some movie. He thought it would been romantic. Got super embarrassed after realizing what he did. Tried to play it off like he didn't do it but he doesn't want anyone to take credit

"Damn...I didn't think through, um.. yeah it was me...do you like it? "-Rin

Sousuke: He's not the type to do it but somehow he managed to keep a straight face. With his letters he leaves small pieces of your favorite candy tape to it (this gives it away that its him)

"Did I write that letter? How you figure that out?"-Sousuke

Kisumi: He tries his best not to make it obvious but he put SO much in his letters, like little doodles, hearts and sticker placed all over the letter.

"Wow someone must really like you y/n."-Kisumi

Asahi: He'll go straight forward with you but he'll do words of encouragement letters. When you even mention about the letter he looks like he's going to jump with joy.

"Really?! That letter made your day? Well there's more coming your way!!"-Asahi

Ikuya: Hes good at hiding it but he gave it away quickly after he mention a letter when you never told anyone. You actually caught him putting the letter in your bag. Poor guy got so embarrassed

"Uh...its..here, I have been writing these for you.

Hiyori: Another perfect secret admirer. He's a literal ninja. He's good a keeping his cool when mention. Seems like the type to place hidden letters for you to find all over the campus

"A note.. can I see... well looks like you have a little admirer... and the note is very beautifully written"-Hiyori

Natsuya: does a poor job hiding it. He's Direct with his feelings but he's also very playful with you. He wants you to fall for his words. He'll probably do like a little scavenger hunt of gifts he bought for you to find.

" oh yeah, I wrote that letter, except more to come! -Natsuya

Nao: secret secret admirer (at first). Then over time He wants you to know its him. Even when you find out its him. He'll keep giving you the notes. He'll also quote bits words from his letters

"It seems someone has a admiration for you y/n i wonder who it is...-Nao

Kaede: His team mates(nagisa)convinced him this was a good idea. Somehow he wrote you letter telling you to meet him somewhere (restaurant). You meet him and he surprises you by ordering any food you want. He seems mean and tough but he's definitely have a loving side

Can I request some headcanons or oneshot for Nao with an girlfriend!s/o. She make him jealous deliberately because she is unsure about his love for her (the s/o have an insecurities in a relationship for not appreciate). Please make it fluffy and comfort

Nao has gotten super busy with his schedules for university and his part time job, so you talked about your insecurities to his bestfriend, Natsuya.

Another day of waking up in the bed alone. You sighed. Ever since Nao was accepted to his new part time job nearby your shared apartment, he got extremely busy.

Always leaving you alone at home, rarely walking or driving you to your university. Seldom eating breakfast and dinner with you, only returning home after you've slept.

As days turned to weeks, slowly became months, you felt distant and unsure whether he still loves you or not. After contemplating your options, you decided to contact his and your close friend, Natsuya.

He agreed to meet up with you at Asahi's sister's cafe for dinner. Upon meeting you, he knew he's gonna end up being the meditator of the relationship. The moment you started ranting out to him, he listened intently.

Natsuya couldn't help but ask, "Do you really doubt Nao? He's a keeper, although he's busy and may forget his promises, doesn't he always get back with double or triple of what you want?"

That made you quiet. You thought back whenever you spend your time with Nao. The grey haired man had always gotten what you always wanted, be it cheap or pricey. Sometimes even the things you're not really that interested in.

He neither does it to please and keep you entertained. He does it out of love and appreciation, and you? Maybe you're just taking him for granted.

You looked down to your lap, mixed feelings build up in your heart,

"Then... What should I do?"

After listening to Natsuya's advices, you went out to the grocery store to get the ingredients on the next day. As you were walking your way to your car, you ran into Ikuya and Hiyori.

"(y/n), you're out buying groceries?" Ikuya asked, looking at your full hands.

You nodded and grin, "I'm making a special dinner for Nao! He's been working super hard lately, so I guess I should prepare something great for him."

Hiyori could see your hands trembling, it was going to be about a five minute walk to your car as it was crowded on that day. He pointed to the bags in your hands, "Would you like some help?"

The two boys helped you carry the items to your car. As they were about to leave, you asked them, "Are you guys heading back to the campus?"

"Yeah, we have projects and assignments to complete." Ikuya shrugged. You could see how tired the young man is.

Swimming about 5 times a week, it was hard. You recalled observing how your brother would occasionally complain about back and shoulder pain from swimming. Especially when he first started swimming back when he was a first year in high school.

You gave the young men a smile and offered them a ride. They agreed and gave you their thanks. After sending them off to their dorms, you decided to stop for a short while to give Nao a call.

"Hello, (y/n)? Is there anything you need?" Nao asked, concern spotted in his tone.

You smiled upon hearing his voice, before you could ask him, you heard a woman's voice, "Nao-kun, who's that?"

"Ah, my girlfriend. Please give me a moment to talk to her," The man said politely.

Despite the stern tone in his voice when talking to the unknown woman, you felt jealousy and sadness in your heart. Nevertheless, you asked him anyway, "What time will you be home? I'm making dinner today."

"Ah, don't worry about dinner, I'm eating out with Makoto and his friends."

You bit on your bottom lip, but answered him anyway, "Okay then. I'll see you at home. Stay safe, Nao. Tell Makoto and his friends I said Hello."

Before Nao could answer, you had already hang up. On his side, he sighed. He could hear sadness in your voice. He already felt bad for not spending time with you the past few months. He turned to look at his female colleague, "Well then, I'll make my leave now. Thank you for the suggestion today."

At Asahi's sister's cafe, his juniors had the look of concern on their faces. Makoto was the first one to ask Nao, "Senpai, did Ikuya tell you anything about (y/n)?"

That caught the grey head's attention, "What about her?"

"Ikuya and Toono ran into her earlier at the grocery store. She sent them back to their dorms too. Ikuya said that she looks tired lately and that she had been planning something for you."

Asahi's sister, Akane came by to serve their drinks. She then said to Nao, "She came here with Natsuya-kun a few days ago. It seems that she was troubled with your relationship with her. Did something happen between the two of you?"

Nao finally understood. Without any hesitation, he turned to his juniors, "Sorry guys, let's eat dinner next week."

He also gave Akane an apologetic look, "I apologize, can you cancel my order? I'll come by again with (y/n) next time."

"No, no. It's fine. Go fix your relationship with her. Now shoo." Akane shooed him away.

Back home, you were on the phone with your little brother, Rei. You weren't the person who would cry on every single ping of jealousy. You'd talk to him for comfort instead,

"Rei, what do you think? I feel uncomfortable that he's with another woman."

"Ehh... I'm no expert in love, but the best way is to talk to Serizawa-san. It may be hard, but you know it yourself, nee-san. Truth hurts, but it's better than getting lied."

He had a point there. He was right, in fact, you were the one who encouraged him to try out with the swim club in his school. Rei called you with pure excitement and bragged that he could finally swim all four strokes.

With the feeling of affirmation, you nodded, "Yeah, I'll give it a try. Thank you, Rei. I'll see you soon."

"Right, I'll let you know when I've reach Tokyo."

After hanging up, you released a deep sigh. You buried your head into your pillow and decided to have a good nap to ease your mind.

About an hour later, you were woken up by the wonderful aroma of your favorite spicy curry. You rubbed your drowsy eyes and walked out from your room to the kitchen. You saw Nao peacefully cooking.

You pouted, thinking that your plan to cook for him failed. Once again, you depended on him. You quietly sat on the dining table, watching him with a small smile. Even though you felt jealous, you still feel endless love for the man.

You dragged your feet towards him and wrapped your arms around his waist, "Nao~ Why did you cook? I was planning to make dinner today!" You whined and hid your face into his broad back.

You felt the vibration of his back from his chuckle, "You were jealous aren't you?"

"Eh? No~ I'm not! What makes you think so?"

"Makoto told me about it. You were at Akane's restaurant with Natsuya weren't you?" Nao inquired calmly. "Well, when I found out about that, I supposed I was jealous that you went out for dinner with my best friend."

You looked up to him in surprise, 'He was jealous? But he didn't tell me who or where did he go with that woman!' You thought. You were about to say something when he turned off the stove and turned around, wrapping his arms around you. Nao then whispered in your ear,

"If you're so desperate to know about my love for you, how about I show it in bed?" His voice was low and he had a soft smirk on his face.

You felt your cheeks went red and you were speechless by his words. You were even caught off guard again when he planted a surprise kiss onto your lips.

30. “I’ve always wanted to kiss you with this song in the background, you know?”

It was a really enjoyable and extremely quiet evening. You and Ikuya were just driving back from Toono to your small, newly rented apartment, talking all the time and discussing what you should do on the weekend. Of course, apart from the time spent together on swimming training – he’ll in the pool, and you’ll in the audience – you offered him to go to the gallery to get a few articles for your little house, and then to a cafe for a cake or tea (or both). The boy agreed, of course, and you cuddled up into the soft armchair that pleasantly heated your back and butt.

Probably if it wasn’t for your favorite song you could fall asleep... but hearing ‘Perfect’ from Ed Sheeran made you slightly livelier, and a gentle smile appeared on your cute face, which obviously didn’t escape the attention of the boy with deep teal hair.

The teenager looked again at the road you two were driving on, and then, without looking at the radio, he increased the volume of the song a bit. Not too much, but so that you can keep talking together and enjoy the music better at the same time.

“You like this song, don’t you?” He asked, or rather stated, and you just nodded, looking at his focused face with huge love and appreciation.

“His songs are very romantic.” You added softly, touching your knee shyly, then looked away at the passenger window glass.

For the next few moments you drove in blissful, really nice silence until at one point you leaned forward a little due to the fact that your boyfriend stopped on the road in front of a red light to let some pedestrians pass. So in the car, the only sound was the song of a British musician and the sound of a turn signal on the left.

“Umm... Y/N?”

“Hmm?” You turned your face to him again and shortly after that you opened your eyes wider, feeling a gentle kiss on your lips that tasted like soda two of you had drunk before. You closed your eyes in delight, grabbing your beloved one by both warm cheeks, and even sighed softly at the caress.

You pulled away after a few short whiles and in the meantime you gave the swimmer definitely one of the most beautiful smiles of all time.

“I’ve always wanted to kiss you with this song in the background, you know?” You admitted happily, touching your cheeks with your hands to hide the two, big and red blushes.

Ikuya wanted to say something to you, but a horn from behind his car woke you two from a beautiful trance, and the vehicle finally moved forward. Only after calming down his rapidly beating heart, the nineteen-year-old put his hand on your soft thigh, gently stroking it with his thumb.

“I’m glad that your dream came true.” He chuckled, and at the same time thought about whether you would ever make his own dream come true.

I think we all know what his dream with you in the lead role is about.

The water welcomed his body as natural as air and food, making his hair dance as freely as the wind with every stroke he made

It was like the water had embraced him after so long

But he was back

And this time, he brought someone with him

“Do you like it, S/N?” He pushed his hair back as he stood, the water just below his waist, his son puppy paddling toward him pushing a kick board with a dolphin on it with matching dolphin floaties on his arms

He was quiet as he focused on paddling and keeping his head above the water, nodding his head

Haru smiled as he held the front of the board, guiding his son

“Do you wanna try without the board? You can hold my hands.”

His son hesitantly paused, letting his legs sink down before he nodded

The little dark haired boy was like a carbon copy of Haru in terms of looks and personality, it made you wonder if your genes had even mixed in or not

The water glimmered beautifully as the reflection marbled on the ceiling of the swim club

The little boy clung onto Haru’s hand as he slowly walked backward in the water, letting the little boy paddle

Haru’s eyes were filled with adoration for his son, content he liked the water as he did

“Wanna try it for yourself?” He asked after a bit of swimming in the shallow area

Your son, quiet as he was, nodded after hesitating

“He’s gotten so big,” the chiming voice of Makoto returned from the office of the swim club, his hair damp as he was finally free from the wetsuit

The same swim club from their childhood that he was now the owner of

A large splash sounded from the deeper end as Makoto dove in, freely swimming his way over to the shallow ends where he spent most of the days as he trained the little kiddos to swim

“Yeah,” a small smile spread on Haru’s lips. “Do you want to try to swim to uncle Makoto on your own?” He asked as he picked his son up, holding him in his arms as Makoto stood where he was, the water was a bit above his waist

His little boy took deep breaths as he held onto his father’s shoulder, his hair crazy on his head before Haru reached up and fixed it fore him, pushing his hair back

“Do you wanna swim over there?” Haru pointed to Makoto as Makoto waved to S/N a few meters away

His little boy was even quieter than he was as he shook his head, not wanting to go into the deeper end

Haru walked closer toward the deeper end towards Makoto

“S/N, would you like to join my class?” Makoto looked down to the little boy, his eyes bluer than any ocean and sky combined, hair as dark as the night

The little boy looked up to Haru with wide eyes. “Can I?” He asked

“Of course,” Haru smiled, his heart content now that he could have a swimming buddy

“It’s dark, papa,” the timid voice of Ikuya’s son were caught by Ikuya before proceeding into the open ocean exhibit

The sheer size of how much water there was was daunting itself

But the views were unforgettable once you were able to see the various ocean life forms that lived so differently than humans

“It’ll be alright. I’ll be with you, okay?” He knelt down beside him but he still knew it would be no use

His son was just too afraid of the dark and what his imagination made him believe what lurked within

“Papa will be with you the entire time though. Is that still too scary too?” He tried to urge his son but of course he didn’t want this special trip to turn sour

The little boy clung onto his father’s hands with his head down and lips pouty

“S/N, would it help if you had a friend with you?” Ikuya looked to his deep teal haired boy, hoping it would help

“Come, let me show you.” He stood back up with his body leaned down, his son holding his hand as they walked toward the gift shop, a place significantly brighter

He wanted to save this part for the end of the trip, for his son to pick out a souvenir to remember this trip

The store was so open and welcoming as kids like Ikuya’s son’s age, both older and younger as they ran about

The store was so much bigger inside

“Do you want a shark?” Ikuya lifted his son into his arms, giving him a better view of all the various stuffed animal

His little boy quietly shook his head in response, his hand holding onto the collar of Ikuya’s sweater

“Mm, how about this one?” Ikuya pointed to a colorful starfish to which his son still shook his head in response

“Hmm,” Ikuya pondered as he looked at all the colorful fish and other toys, wondering which would be good

Maybe a bubble machine? One of those overpriced yet cheaply made wand lights?

“Papa,” the small voice of his son brought him out of his thoughts as the little boy timidly tugged on his father’s collar, bringing his attention to one of the smaller, single colored stuffed animals

“This one?” Ikuya pulled one off the shelf towards his son whose eyes never left it. “A beluga whale.”

“You sure, Buddy?” Ikuya wanted to give his done a big one like a whale shark plushie that was almost as big as him

But the little boy nodded as he already hugged the plushie close, petting the bulbous head of the plushie, content

“Okay.” And with that

His son was able to bravely go through the dark tunneled entrance of the open ocean exhibit with Ikuya and his new little friend in his arms as his eyes and mind were blown away at the grand exhibit

And every time Ikuya looked over to his son, his little one couldn’t take his eyes off of all the different aquatic creatures that swam right before him

He could see sea the ocean and all its wonders in his son’s wide vermillion eyes

Natsuya:

Heavy rumbles echoed all throughout the sky as the dark gray clouds blocked out the sun, not letting a single ray of sunshine sneak through

You typed away at your computer, catching up on some work, your eyes occasionally drifting to check up on your daughter as she crawled about

As little and young as she was, she was so curious, always sticking with you to keep you company while working

But once Natsuya was spotted

She was determined to find him

You paused your typing, letting the room fill with the tapping noise of the rain pelting against the side of the house as she crawled away, disappearing into the room where Natsuya was

The room was calm and silent, filled with the deep breaths of Natsuya as he laid as still as a log in his futon taking a long nap

She approached her father, only slowing down to a stop beside him as she just sat there and watched him

But this wasn’t enough for her

She crawled on top of the blanket on top of him, and sat herself on his chest

She leaned forward and pressed her hand to his face, abruptly waking him from his peaceful slumber

But instead of annoyance, he immediately saw who it was and saw his little flower

He could never be annoyed

“Hi, buttercup,” his voice raspy and dripping with sleep as his eyes blinked slowly up to her

A small smile spread on her face as she cooed

“Whatcha doin here?” He yawned, in turn making his baby girl yawn as well

She only tilted her head as she patted his face again, bringing her little hand to the top of his nose as if to say “I got you”

“Wanna join papa? Hm?” He asked as he already began drifting but before she could respond in any way, a clap of thunder scared her

She buried her face into his shoulder into a little ball

Natsuya could’ve sworn his heart skipped three beats

She was so tiny

“There’s nothing to be scared of, papa’s here to protect you, alright?” He turned toward her, rubbing his hand to her back, bringing her out of her little ball

“Papa’s here,” he smiled as he tucked her hair behind her little ear

The longer she stared, the drowsiest she got as yawns began to fall from her lips

“Oh it must be your nap time,” he mumbled as he rubbed his fingers to her chubby cheeks, as she pouted, her little hands rubbing her eyes

“Nap nap time,” he tapped the back of her hand to which she peeked open her eyes before being laid down beside Natsuya’s head onto the futon with her own pillow and little blanket

He turned onto his side, his face inches away from hers as she began to drift too

His smile only grew bigger seeing how her wide eyes were drifting

The longer she tried to say awake, the longer she couldn’t stay awake

“Go to sleep buttercup, papa will still be here when you wake,” he whispered as he leaned close, pressing a little kiss to her forehead

And with that, his little princess drifted off, her hand wrapped around his fingers as Natsuya drifted off too

The last thing he saw, was his little girl

And even in her sleep, she couldn’t let go of his fingers - she couldn’t let him go snd he never would

Pillow Fights (highspeed!+Hiyori)

A/n: oh to be pillow fighting with the love of your life✨natsuya✨ the only pillow fights I be having are with my ignorant brothers :((

Sorry for the long wait! I know a lot of you were looking forward to this 💖

Asahi

“Asahi?”

Your brows furrowed in confusion, wasn’t he here just a minute ago?

Searching the apartment, you barely missed the incoming white, fluffy projectile, aimed right for your face

“A-Asahi!” Your attention immediately went to the unsteady indoor flower pot on the kitchen counter

“Oh no! Did I break it?!” Asahi shot out from behind the county, panic and guilt evident on his features

“Barely...” You glared, crouching down to pick up the pillow, eyes never leaving Asahi’s

‘shit’ Asahi felt himself shrink in the corner as your looming figure hovered above him

You wasted no time in unleashing your fury at the man who had no way to dodge, the only potential shield being another pillow in your shared room, with his luck, being on the other side of the apartment

Asahi dove at the opportunity of an opening, dashing to the room and snatching a pillow off against the headboard

Eyes shut, Asahi carelessy swung the pillow around in his defense, pleading you to spare him

Oh there was going to be no mercy tonight~

Kisumi

“Kiss me” Kisumi puckered his lips cheekily, waiting for you to give in.

You shook your head, an idea suddenly making you grin mischievously as you too, puckered up and drew close

And just when you believed that you had come close enough, you snickered before quickly bringing up a pillow as a barrier, causing the man in front of you to pout in disappointment

However, disappointment did not reign his face for long as he slyly whispered something in your ear, catching you off guard

Kisumi took this opportunity to strike.

As you fell back, you quickly reached out to sieze the pillow and throw it back at him, but Kisumi was one step ahead and dodged your attack

This mini pillow fight did not last long however, and quickly ended with his lips finally connecting with your own for a sweet kiss

“You did not just throw that pillow at me!” You looked at Ikuya in shock, this being an action you wouldn’t have expected from him

“I was trying to put it back, I didn’t mean to hit you, sorry.”

You shake your head, sitting up on the bed to position the pillow back in its place

Not too soon after, Ikuya joined you underneath the covers, his arm over his eyes. Today had been tiring.

Ikuya was quickly pulled out of his thoughts as he felt something soft slam into his face with a surprising force

He was shocked, turning to you with disheveled hair and a perplexed expression

It didn’t take too much to fuel Ikuya’s competitive side as he felt the impact of another cushioned force, this time on his stomach, as he jolted up and used the pillow behind him to strike back

You roll over just in time to get his side, Ikuya was quick, but still quite fatigued from practice and toppled back

Eventually Ikuya dropped his pillow and grabbed you by the waist, pulling you back into bed

You tried wriggling out but to no avail as his grip only tightened

“I’m tired...” Ikuya gently whispered in your ear and you relaxed

“Sorry...it was payback.” You smiled to yourself, settling into his hold and drifting along with him into a deep slumber.

Natsuya

Leaving the large cart off to the side, Natsuya walked over to a bed, flopping onto it with a side

“Come on Natsuya, get up.”

“Or you can join me.” Natsuya winked at you, patting the space next to him

You shook your head, looking over your shoulder to watch the cart

The light force of something soft had caught you suddenly off guard as you stumbled back

He did not just-

“We are in an IKEA, Natsuya!” You hissed, looking around you alarmingly. Again, a pillow was slammed into your backside

“Natsuya!” This time you snatched the pillow from his hands. The man just smiled back at you cheekily

Something about this irked you as you smacked him back, situating yourself across from him on the bed

Soon the two of you had both your hands full with pillows, one to defend and the other to attack

It didn’t last long however, as now that you were on top of Natsuya, him at your mercy, did you realize the mess that you two had made

“Shit, we’re going to get caught.”

You scrambled off Natsuya, him following suit and the both of you rushed to fix the bed to the way it was before—well, to the best of your abilities

Nao

“Naoooo!”

“I said no (y/n), last time you and Natsuya almost wrecked the entire apartment.” Nao sighed, shaking his head.

You pouted, pillow in your hands, as you playfully hit him, trying to get Nao to give in

Eventually you give up, putting the pillow back under your head and pulling the covers up to your chin

As soon as your about to drift into sleep, the whack of something soft but forceful startles you awake

“Nao?” You rub your eyes in disbelief

Nao just smiles back with eyes closed and brows raised, as if he was mocking you from earlier

“It’s on.” You throw off the blanket and push aside the covers, grabbing the nearest pillow and lightly smacking his leg

Though, the fight did not last long as Nao dropped his pillows and reached for your hands, stopping you from proceeding with your attacks

“All right that’s enough, let’s go to bed now hm?”

You sighed giving in, sleep taking its toll once again, “okay.” You smiled as Nao pecked your cheek and lifted the edge of the blanket.

“We’ll have a lot to clean up in the morning”~

Hiyori

“W-What is it?” Hiyori nervously shifted his glasses

You simply glared, pointing towards the book in his hand which he was currently using to shield himself from your gaze

“You’ve been reading that stupid book for hours now, I’m bored!”

“O-oh I’m sorry.” Hiyori bookmarked the place where he left off, standing up to put it back on the shelf

“So what do you wa-” As soon as Hiyori turned his attention back towards you, his vision became obscured and he tumbled back onto the couch

“(Y/n)!” Hiyori’s first concern was his glasses as he frantically checked to make sure there had been no breaks or scratches

“It’s a pillow Hiyori, relax.” You toss another throw up and down as warning that you were going to strike again.

Just in time, Hiyori slipped his glasses in a side table drawer before another projectile came hurling at him

The pillow fight was moved from room to room, with you doing more of the fighting and Hiyori more of the running and hiding

Eventually you corner him, Hiyori throwing his hands up as the only defense to protect himself

“Ah! I give up! I give up! You win!”

You let out an evil laugh, inching closer and closer

And just when Hiyori thought that it was going to be the end, squeezing his eyes shut and putting up his arm in his face, he’s met with a sweet, soft kiss on his forehead.

Anon ask:Can you do Nsfw and sfw headcanons with Ikuya when he has a dream about you?

Sorry this took long. Hope you like it.

I tried lol but I did had fun writing this 😆

Ikuya Sfw Fairytale dream: Ikuya was trapped in a castel on the sea side. He doesn't know how long he has been there, but he was waiting for someone to rescue him. However, he wasn't lonely. He had his animal friends to keep him company. Hiyori the bird, haru the cat, Makoto the dog, Nao the bird ,Natsuya the dog, Kisumi the rabbit and Asahi the mouse .

Ikuya: *sigh* when will I be save?(looking at the ocean waves while Petting Haru)

Asahi: don't worry someone will come!!( asahi comes out his mouse hole).

Kisumi: yup! Surely a beautiful queen will save you!( he hops near Ikuyas foot)

Hiyori: hmmm? If that's happens, don't leave ME behind. (Flying on Ikuyas shoulders)

Asahi: Hey!!. You mean "use"!

Hiyori: mmmhhm? I guess...but I don't think Ikuya's queen would like rodents( smirking at asahi)

Asahi: The Hell!! You call me!! (He was about to run up to Hiyori)

Makoto: Hey guys stop fighting!( he stops asahi)

That is until Nao flew in and told Ikuya the great news.

Nao: Ikuya!! I just saw a rider coming by and it looks like they are coming towards the castle... Hurry get in position!!!

Hiyori: wait,Ikuya don't forget the flowers *handing him a bouquet of white and purple roses*

Nao: come on everyone get in position! Quickly!!

Nao and Hiyori placed themselves above Ikuyas headboard, Makoto and Natsuya sat beside the bed, Kisumi and Asahi sat beside Ikuyas head and Haru was beneath Ikuyas feet.

Ikuya: Tell me why I'm doing this again? ( getting embarrassed)

Kisumi: its to make you look pretty, just like in those fairytale books *giving him a encouraging smile*

Hiyori: yeah, you're like a princess ready to be saved....I'm a little jealous .

Natsuya: plus that rider is probably rich too!

Asahi: shhh they're coming.

Ikuya couldn't see what was going on but the others saw you come it.

Y/n: hello? Is anyone here? (You quietly peek through Ikuyas room to see a young man laying in bed beside a bunch of animals.)

Kisumi: wow Ikuya!!, its a queen and she's beautiful too! (Kisumi whispers in ear)

Asahi: surely she will marry him and make you her 🤴 king.

Y/n: hmm? Why are there a bunch of animals near his body? ....is he dead?

You walked up to the bed observing the animals next to him. Ikuya felt your presence beside him, so the only thing he could think of is pucker up his lips for a kiss.

- Makoto Tachibana - Vision: Geo Weapon: Claymore Affiliation: Mondstadt, Dawn Winery

> My man Makoto already screams like a Geo character. Tall, handsome, muscular? Claymore. Making him work with Diluc at Dawn Winery also sounds nice. Who wants a barista/waiter Makoto?

> Tbh, idk if Rei would be blessed with Electro or Hydro. But a part of my thinks that he might be an Electro user. Rei is definitely part of the Alchemist faction of the KoF as one of Albedo's assistants. He likes beauty, thus I can definitely see him fight with a sword passionately.

- Shizuru Isurugi - Vision: Hydro Weapon: Claymore Affiliation: Liyue

> He talks about fish and compare things with seafood. I see him coming from Liyue and probably be the son of one of the greatest fishermen there.

- Romio Hayahune - Vision: Cryo Weapon: Bow Affiliation: Liyue

> I don't really know much nor take notice of him, but my impression of him is that he might be blessed with Cryo vision. He did mention Tokyo is his second home, thus why I think he fits by coming from Liyue, a nation of contracts and business.

- Gou Matsuoka - Vision: Cryo Weapon: Catalyst/Sword Affiliation: Inazuma (former), Mondstadt

> The Matsuoka family moves around a lot during Gou's and Rin's childhood. And she definitely has Cryo vision to mess around with the Iwatobi guys. Like freezing the lake to avoid Haru from swimming during the winter, creating ice paths to let kids play on the ice and other things.

- Ayumu Kunikida - Vision: Geo Weapon: Catalyst Affiliation: Mondstadt

> She looks like Geo Sucrose. She'll be with Timaeus instead of the KoF. She'll throw rocks at the baddies from a far, unintentionally playing pranks on the hilichurls. She'll be Sucrose's best friend too. They'd create the weirdest and questionable things ever.

~ SAMEZUKA GANG ~

- Rin Matsuoka - Vision: Pyro Weapon: Claymore Affiliation: Inazuma // Fontaine

> He has pyro vision 100%! Passionate with his dreams to the point he might accidentally burn something. Probably evaporate the water at times. Gou will be the one who would help him maintain the water level. She'd freeze liquid while he melts them.

- Sousuke Yamazaki - Vision: Geo Weapon: Claymore Affiliation: Inazuma // Liyue

> Rock hard muscle man carries a claymore like his buddy. Geo vision user indeed. He can also be a healer and DPS like Noelle! He'd be Rin's best partner in the team aside from Haru and Gou. Since Rin and Sousuke were from Inazuma, I can see them returning and being part of the resistance with Sangonomiya. They'd fight for freedom together (and making sure that Rin doesn't explode like a volcano)

- Aiichirou Nitori - Vision: Dendro Weapon: Sword Affiliation: Sangonomiya Troupe, Inazuma

> Idk why, but Nitori looks like he would have Dendro vision. I see him as a person who likes nature and would be more of a healer and support. He'd be with the medical team of the resistance. And making sure Momo behaves.

- Momotarou Mikoshiba - Vision: Electro Weapon: Polearm Affiliation: Sangonomiya Troupe, Inazuma

> Boy is so explosive he may have had created Overload with his brother or Rin. He's exciting but also has limits. At least he listens to the general and the higher ups, making him one of the best fighter in the resistance.

~ HIDAKA U ~

- Seijuurou Mikoshiba ~ Vision: Pyro Weapon: Claymore Affiliation: Sangonomiya Troupe, Inazuma

> Mikoshiba Chaos number 1. Do I need to say more? Chaos with his siblings? Why not. Not only that, he's one of the best captains in the resistance, leading his team with full victory, training them to be the best of the best. He received recognition from both Gorou and Kokomi. Was probably one of the Tenryou Commission officers but betrayed them once the Vision Hunt Decree happened.

- Asahi Shiina - Vision: Pyro Weapon: Polearm Affiliation: Liyue

> Probably the son of one of the commissioners in Liyue. And most likely one of the best adventurers of Liyue. Also a promoted officer of the Millelith. Like Seijuurou, he's a good leader. He may be reckless, but his chaotic and lively attitude brings positivity in the team work.

- Kisumi Shigino - Vision: Anemo Weapon: Sword Affiliation: Fontaine // Liyue

> This guy is so carefree but when it comes to business or leading his adventure team, he's serious. As a reference that his uncle works with a company that's gotta do with housings, his family probably is a part of a commissioner thingy and has contacts with the Liyue Qixing. He's like Tohma in a way, kinda like the middle man or a fixer. We need him to deal with complicated things.

~ SHIMOGAMI U ~

- Tsubasa Hoshikawa - Vision: Electro Weapon: Polearm Affiliation: Doushin, Inazuma

> He's a minor character but he shows good leadership by how he talks to his teammates. I imagine him being one of the generals of the Tenryou Commission

- Ikuya Kirishima - Vision: Cryo Weapon: Bow Affiliation: Tenryou Commission, Inazuma

> I was so close to imagining him using a claymore as a reference of Razor. I headcanon cryo characters to be someone perfectionist in a way, thus why I think Ikuya might be a Cryo vision bearer.

- Hiyori Toono - Vision: Geo Weapon: Sword Affiliation: Kanjou Commission, Inazuma

> Kanjou commission clearly shows how much they wanted to manipulate traveler upon them reaching Inazuma. And that's what and how I view Hiyori as. He's cheeky, good with words. He might be like Tohma, a fixer, at the same time manipulating people with taxes and whatever Kanjou Commission does. He might even block outlanders with his Geo vision.

~ OTHERS ~

- Natsuya Kirishima - Vision: Pyro Weapon: Claymore Affiliation: Tenryou Commission (former), The Crux (current)

> My man Natsuya travels a lot. He's like Kazuha, the wandering ronin. I can definitely see him as Beidou's second in command in the ship. He's also a good leader, a caring and kind individual. His pyro vision provides warmth in the cold nights in the sea. If this guy even dare, he would even dive into the sea to swim.

- Nao Serizawa - Vision: Dendro Weapon: Catalyst/Bow/Sword Affiliation: Bubu Pharmacy, Liyue

> I can see him working as Baizhu's disciple. I don't know why I see him having dendro vision, but he just screams dendro. He's majoring as sports medic of some sorts, thus I see him working with Bubu Pharmacy along with Qiqi. He would expect Natsuya and other characters to visit him to ask for medicines.

- Isuzu Mikoshiba - Vision: Anemo Weapon: Sword Affiliation: Sangonomiya Troupe, Inazuma

> Mikoshiba Chaos number 2. With anemo, she can apply swirl to overload from her brothers' visions. Following Seijuurou's footsteps, she strives to become a good leader and role model. Kokomi would even ask her to be her assistant. Big bro Mikoshiba is proud of little sister Mikoshiba.

- Kaede Kinjou - Vision: Electro [Hydro; Delusion] Weapon: Claymore Affiliation: Fatui, Snehznaya

> idl this guy. I definitely see him with the fatui. His few targets would be Ikuya, Rin, Haruka, Sousuke and Asahi. I can see him fooling around with them with so many ruthless tactics he has under his sleeves. Not to mention how aggressive he can be. Scaramouche weaker version.

- Albert Volandel - Vision: Cryo/Hydro Weapon: Polearm Affiliation: Fontaine

> I view him fighting as gracefully as Rei, maybe even more. But as for his vision, I'm unsure if he would be blessed with cryo or hydro.

It was easy for Natsuya to know whether something was wrong with his younger brother, Ikuya, despite him being distant for years. Now that they’re on good terms, he just felt like it was his job to act as a wingman for his brother and the girl of his affection after he discovered him watching her from afar, one afternoon. After swim practice that day, he have decided to offer some help with his brother. To his surprise, Ikuya was trying to fix his hair in a different way when Natsuya suddenly comes to his room without knocking.

“Aniki! You shouldn’t just barge in anyone’s room like that! Where are your manners?” Ikuya shouts to his brother and Natsuya immediately apologizes, immediately stating his purpose for his presence at his younger brother’s room.

“I’m here to help you with your crush, ___-chan,” He honestly said and he’d confirmed that it’s true when a dark blush covers Ikuya’s face. I knew it.

“S-So..? W-What about it!? That’s none of your business! Get away from here!” He throws a pillow towards Natsuya who stumbles back from the impact and from the shock. Ikuya quickly runs to close the door and lock it to make sure that he wouldn’t be able to enter anymore. Natsuya removes the pillow from his face, furrowing his brows as he scratch the back of his head.

Nao is always the person whom Asahi runs to whenever he has problems. After swim practice that afternoon, he purposely stayed late so he can talk to his senior.

“Senpai..” He catches Nao’s attention just as he was locking the door of the club room. Nao offers a kind smile to Asahi as he face him.

“Yes? Do you need some help?” He somewhat reads his kouhai’s mind with the anxious look on his face. He knew that he was troubled, just like that time when he seemed to have forgotten who to swim free, which suddenly made him feel slightly worried until..

“I-I like.. this girl.. from another class.. and I-I—” Nao sighs in relief and he smiles.

“I see. So you need help with your crush?” Asahi quickly nods and Nao asks him to follow him as they walk home together. Along the way, he gives a few tips on how he can approach her and start talking to her. Now encouraged and not clueless anymore, thanks to Nao, Asahi vows to himself that he’s going to do his best to do all of those tomorrow.

~ Anime Review; Free! Dive to the Future ~

I haven’t done a review in a long time. Since I recently finished watching the third season of Free!, I decided to write a review for it. So here it is.

Story (8/10)

Our protagonist has now started studying at the university. We get to follow him and several other characters with their respective problems. I’d say the main focus is identity - who you are as a person and what you want to be.

We get to see characters like Makoto trying to find his own path in life and Sousuke, who is concerned about a surgery that may or may not be the end of his career as a swimmer. Rei, Nagisa and Gou are studying their final year at Iwatobi. We get to see them with new recruits for the swim team.

These are only some of the sub-plots in this season.

“If these are the sub-plots, then what’s the main plot?” you ask?

To be frank, they should’ve just named it “Free! Two Lovers’ Promise” because about 65% of this season focuses on Haru and Ikuya’s romance friendship.

Although I’m overjoyed to see so much of Ikuya and seeing him (and Haru) develop as a character, it doesn’t give much time for the other characters and events. In the end, episode 11 and 12 feel a bit rushed, which is why I’m giving the story 8/10. The way the guys are trying to find their own identities and lifetime goals is not only inspiring but also touching.

Characters (7/10)

I’m very proud of Haru this season. Everyone who has watched the previous seasons or at least Starting Days are well aware of Haru only swimming free and nothing else.

In episode 7 and 8, we get to see Haru practice for- and participate in the individual medley just to keep his promise to Ikuya. Although Haru goes back to his ‘I only swim free’ way shortly afterwards, the fact that he stopped swimming only free for a moment shows how far Haru is willing to go for the people he cares about. And in episode 12, we find out that ever since Haru first got into the water, he has always swum free, which makes him participating in the individual medley even more special.

Makoto and Rei share a similar dilemma. Neither of them knows what they want to do with their lives. With some help from Nao, Makoto realizes that he wants to become a coach where he can help swimmers reach the top and encourage children to swim as well.

Rei on the other hands never got this realization. He does think about his future, but never mentions his options.

As for Nagisa, we don’t get to hear much from him at all, which is a bit disappointing. His ‘major’ development was in the first season and his character has been a bit flat since then. Yes, he has become a better swimmer and has a charming personality, but he hasn’t changed much, has he? Does he still want to become an astronaut or an adventurer?

Rin is doing fine. He’s still aiming to become the number one swimmer in the world and has gotten a coach.

Sousuke has an interesting scenario. His doctor suggests a surgery if he wants to continue swimming. The problem is that this surgery may or may not end his career. The problem is that we don’t get to see much about this.

Natsuya also gets some development. In the beginning of this season, he swims and participates in races just to get money. He uses the money to travel to another country in the world, races, wins money and then the cycle just repeats. As the story goes on, he eventually stops swimming just for the money and starts taking swimming seriously again.

Even Nitori - the only character who I couldn’t stand in the first two seasons - was okay in Dive to the Future. He didn’t do anything outstanding, but he didn’t annoy me either.

I’m also happy to see how much Ikuya has grown since childhood. Especially his swimming. I’m still surprised (in a good way) that he managed to beat both Haru and Nastuya in the individual medley.

Now for the newer characters. First we have Ikuya’s “best friend” - Hiyori (Seems a bit one-sided from Hiyori’s part). He and Nitori are the only two characters in Free! that I dislike. Like I said earlier, Nitori was much more bearable in this season. Hiyori wasn’t. In my opinion, Hiyori is a selfish, illogical, rude and manipulative control freak. In fact, he’s one of the characters to appear on my list of characters whose reasoning and ideas lack logic. He’s far too judgmental towards Haru and the others despite never meeting them, he makes decisions for Ikuya without Ikuya’s consent and goes out of his way to prevent Haru from talking to Ikuya. “Maybe he just doesn’t want Ikuya to get hurt again” Nope. After winning a race against Makoto, Hiyori clearly states that the reason why he won’t let Haru and the others approach Ikuya is because they’re too weak, not because he wants to protect Ikuya from getting hurt again. He also seems to be rather delusional as he considers himself as the little mermaid who saves the prince (Ikuya) from “sinking” (depression). Where did he get that idea from? According to Ikuya, he has been feeling like this for years. Hell, Hiyori (unintentionally) made Ikuya’s depression even worse. After Haru manages to make it past Hiyori and swims with Ikuya (which actually saves Ikuya from his depression), he does acknowledge that swimming with Haru was different than what he thought, but he never apologizes to neither Haru nor Ikuya for his behavior. His entire purpose in this season is to be a pain in the ass. That’s literally it.

Then we have Haru’s new “challengers” - the world record holder in freestyle Albert Wåhlander and the mysterious swimming prodigy Kaede Kinjou. Albert specifically enters the show with a bang as he completely crushed Haru in a race. Then he disappears until the very last scene of the season. The anime makes such a big deal about them (Especially Albert), but we never get to find out much about these two except that Albert has a coach named Ralph (Or is it Ralf?) and is a world record holder from Sweden. But Kaede? Nothing. Then only time we see him in action is in the very last episode where he easily beat Asahi and Hiyori in a race.

This category gets only 7/10. Hiyori single-handedly removed one point, one point off from the lack of development for Rei, Nagisa and Gou and lastly, one point off for showing close to nothing about Albert and Kaede.

Designs and animation (10/10)

As expected from Free!, it has beautiful animation. And somehow, the anime managed to make the guys even better looking.

Am I the only one who thought Nagisa looked a bit more…mature this season? He used to look younger and rather child-like compared to the other guys. Now he’s starting to look like a man. They grow up so fast…

I didn’t see any (major) flaws with the animation and the character designs look good. Even the clothes the characters wear for the ending look good. The hat Nagisa is wearing gets a bonus point.

Therefore, I’m giving this category a solid 10/10.

Voice acting and music (10/10)

The ‘older’ voice actors were good, as always while the ‘new’ actors also did pretty well. Kudos to the voice actors of Ikuya, Albert and Hiyori.

Despite despising Hiyori, I think Ryouhei did a good job with portraying the character and making him sound like a real piece of shit. Especially the first five episodes.

After hearing Rin’s broken english despite living in Australia for years, I’m surprised Albert spoke perfect english. No stereotypical Nordic accent, no awkwardness. And if he has always lived in Sweden, I’ll be even more surprised.

The opening theme Heading to Over and ending theme Gold Evolution were both catchy and suited the anime. Though, I wish they could’ve “tossed the rock a bit further” with the opening theme as it resembles the opening themes of the previous seasons - Rage On and Dried Up Youthful Fame - a bit too much. Still, I must admit that I never skipped the opening or the ending of Dive to the Future. Actually, I listen to their full versions often.

Once again, I’m giving out a full score. 10/10 for the voice actors’ performances and the kick-ass music.

Ending (7/10)

As I’ve already stated, this season focuses a lot on the bond between Haru and Ikuya for the first 8 episodes. After episode 8, they’re rarely seen together, let alone talk to each other.

Why would the staff put so much time and effort into their relationship and then just be like “Their drama is over now, so let’s completely move on and make them interact as little as possible because Ikuya is completely irrelevant now”. Of course, I didn’t want Ikuya to get all of Haru’s interactions, as characters like Makoto and Rin are also important. However, I think it was rather disappointing and lame how they almost completely ignored Ikuya for the remaining episodes when they made a such big deal about him (and Haru) earlier. Most of his appearances in episodes 9-12 are just cameos with the only exception being his race against Natsuya. He doesn’t say much. He’s just standing there to show that he still exists.

I’m also a bit disappointed that the only characters who succeeded with their races were Rin and the Kirishima brothers. The others failed and the final race (100m freestyle) was left on a cliffhanger.

To be frank, if it hadn’t been for the character development of Haru, the Kirishima brothers and Makoto, I would’ve given this category a lower score. Most of the other characters’ developments stand still during the season. The only (other) characters who came close to a good development but slipped right before the finish line were Hiyori and Sousuke.

Either a new movie or season was confirmed at the end of episode 12. Hopefully, the newer characters (Hiyori, Iwatobi rookie-trio, Albert and Kaede) will get their proper developments.

Episode 11 and 12 felt a bit rushed. It was almost as if the staff was trying to test themselves regarding how many things they can make happen in just one episode. Because of this, it made episode 12 lack charm. Yes, there were meaningful moments. However, those moments were a bit less effective than intended, which is the result of what happens when you try to make too many things happen in a 20-minute episode.

For that, Dive to the Future gets only a 7 for its ending.

Summary (42/50 - Great)

Although a few things about this season left me a bit disappointed, it was overall a good season and I’m glad I watched it.

I don’t know whether their next project is a fourth season or a movie. Regardless, the bar has been set pretty high since I’m expecting the next movie/season to provide with everything Dive to the Future didn’t:

Goals in life for Rei, Nagisa and Gou

A continuation of Hiyori’s character development

Character developments for Albert and Kaede

Haru interacting with his parents

And most importantly; more Steve.

And that’s my review of the third season of Free!.

I’ll be looking forward to the next project.
