Ranking all canon gen 1 ships (including nemma and scottney bc of Noah and Courtney)

Gwuncan- ew, i feel like I don’t even have to explain it

Gidgette- honestly I’ve never liked it, they were cute in season one but after that they literally just made out all the time

Scottney- ugh they were fine, like they were kinda cute but also if they wanted to put Courtney with someone after Duncan cheated on her then it should’ve been with Trent bc she’s a petty queen

Gwent- ok they were good in season one but also they were kinda boring? Like idk I was never invested

Ozzy- they had their moments, I’ve grown to like Owen more and more which makes me like ozzy more, idk they’re pretty cute

Coderra- pls pls pls pls pls let me explain for a second 🙏 ok so ik ppl hate them but like….I just have this huge soft spot for crazy girls and idk something abt that one clip at the beginning of roti where she’s wearing his hat and he’s smiling at her is just so adorable and I can’t help but love them

Nemma- putting them as high as I possibly can bc I actually love them together. Idk they just work so well? And it was cute to see noah in love, idk why ppl hate them sm (well I do buttttt) they’re just the best, but sadly I physically can’t put them above the others

Lesharold- ok I’m like…actually a huge Lesharold shipper. They’re just too amazing to resist, like the dynamic? He’s a loser whos head over heals for her and she’s a baddie who he somehow pulled AND they’re in love? Holyyyy shit

Aleheather- words cannot express how much I love Aleheather. They simply are just enemies to lovers, dare I say they are the perfect example of that. Actually scratch that, they’re enemies who love each other, bc even when they started dating the enemy status never left, that’s why they’re this high up.

Duncney- I would like to start this out by saying that this is season 1 duncney. HOLY SHIT THEY ARE JUST THE BEST EVER. I am in love with their whole dynamic. They drive each other crazy, he brings out her wild side while she brings out his soft side. He has the biggest soft spot for her and he pisses her off to no end. Duncney is the most perfect thing on this planet and you cannot take that from my cold dead hands

Lyler- ok even though I’m obv a huge duncney fan I have to admit that lyler is actually my fav ship in the whole damn show. Like idk maybe it’s cause I just love both characters sm but something about them just makes me giggle and kick my feet, like every time I see lyler fan art I get this huge smile on my face bc they’re just so adorable, anyways best td ship, love them sm

I got into Sonic recently when a friend showed us Netflix’s ‘Sonic Prime’, and I just had to draw how I imagined the gang to look like as humans!! So here are some gijinka studies :3

SONIC

NOTE: I imagine he’d do street art and have spray paint stains all the time. He’s got headphones, probably to block out noise once in a while, especially when running the track. Idk if athletes actually can wear these on the track, but it’s a nice thought.

SHADOW

NOTE: I think this was my favorite outfit to draw, especially his shoes!! Emo skater boy realness.

AMY

NOTE: Dear Ames was so fun to draw, mostly because of her hair and her pose. She’s so cute. I debated on giving her a new outfit but decided her red dress was adorable; I just added the pink tights last minute cause I thought it’d be cute as well. I LOVE her boots.

TAILS

NOTE: My boy. My darling. My baby. I was immediately reminded of Hiro Hamada and little Nico di Angelo when I met Tails, so I had to incorporate my favs into this study somehow. Iykyk. I thought making his hair have white tips (like the og Tails’ two tails) was clever xD

ROUGE

NOTE: MOTHER. She is so. Ugh. I LOVE her. I added the bat because. Bat. Aren’t I so clever (Don’t answer that). I like to think that she does everyone’s nails, tattoos, and piercings. She’s got her apartment open for the gang to hang out whenever; she adores them and they love her sm. (Same) Also PEAK fashion sense!!

KNUCKLES

NOTE: My man!!! Knucks was the most fun to draw, tbh. His shoes are so silly, his colors are so vibrant and strong, and I love drawing him looking serious when I know he’s my goofy goober. (I mean yes he’s more than capable of knuckle-yeeting me into Kingdom Come, but he’s still my silly not-little guy)

hi sorry if im being a bother but like. how do you be creative? or just have creative ideas in general? your art is always so unique and interesting and so different but I always feel like im never creative or have no ideas. idk if it has to do with me just not being able to focus easily but if you have any rescources or tips or anything really that helps with being creative, if it isnt too much of a bother, could u share them? ty sm

so this has been sitting in my inbox for months, i’ve been wanting to answer this when i had time!

here’s some stuff that helps me:

- an inspiration board by your workspace of other’s work and things you find out and about that interest you and doodles of your own

- writing down simple poetry or prose that you can later attach ideas to

- planning out concepts and compositions more akin to how one would assemble a collage ie. layering very visually different subjects and text

- exploring other mediums! sometimes ideas come better in 3d than 2d for me, this also applies to the work of others you view, i adore some good textiles or photography or films, and leading off that, follow lots of artists!

- let your interests motivate you! wildlife and paleobiology and queer love and my fav video games always make me want to create

- lastly be kind to yourself!

social media especially dictates creatives should always be pumping out perfect, innovative work but sometimes you just need a quiet week. sometimes you gotta make “meh” work and not post it or have a messy, illegible sketchbook. thats how art truly goes.

i can struggle with focus too, i can catch myself pacing for an hour straight or sitting down for two hours and getting 20 minutes of work done and other adhd brain shenanigans but i try my best to be kind to myself and try to create an environment to accommodate that.

treat yourself with respect too, art is a process and journey and we deserve to enjoy that act of creation and vulnerability and expression 💛

I have a hard time committing to reading long fanfictions so I don’t really read any aside from one shots.

I am still an avid follower of yours because your art and drawings are INSANELY GOOD. Like, professional-looking good. Criminal-it’s-only-fan-art-and-not-paid-art good 😂. I’m thirsty for every drawing you throw at us in your magnanimity, there’s that pinch sweetness into it.. idk how to even describe it. I may even download them into a file on my phone to have a look from time to time with all my favourite artists… 👀

Anyway, I am awed by people like you who produce an insane amount of content that takes TIME and DEDICATION, FOR FREE. Sharing entertainment like you do is admirable and should only be rewarded with positivity.

I actually adore how you draw C!Dream, specially when compared to how you draw Dream happy

C!Dream's trauma seems to stick to his sink like blood, like if you touched him your hand would be stained with lava and obsidian dust and blood and his desperate begging for help

(I obrigatorilly need to talk about how you draw mermaids. The rendering of the tails!!!!! It makes me giddy to see :D)

A few details I Iadd to accentuate c!dream’s… trauma is

- I try to give him no emotion at all most of the time and IF he does show any type of emotion (especially like current c!Dream not pre trauma dream) it’s usually because the emotion was so overwhelming that it cracked through his thick traumatized shell

if you see current c!dream in my art from now on with any different odd emotion like a smile or something happy just know that it might be a certain god playing tricks…

His emotionless-ness is almost like a mask itself, he doesn’t want anyone to know how he feels, feeling like they would use it against himself. If you tried hard enough you could see emotions change with a twitch of his iris

I’d like to think he forgot how to feel. He’s just tired. Tired of everything it’s been a while since he’s expressed anything positive and he doesn’t know how until he breaks in the end of the smp when everything rushes back into his senses cause he’s scared and it’s overwhelming… but that’s a story for another time

- another thing is his color palette when I color Dream I use a more purple non-human like skin tone which shows more prominently when he’s drawn with George who has a more orange / bright leaning skin color

If you look at my pre and post trauma dream drawings you can see literally life and color literally has been drained from him 💀💀

- last thing that comes to mind is his scars and bruises I specifically give him a bruised right eye but he doesn’t tend to it he doesn’t care if he can still see through it it’s good enough he can’t be distracted even with his own body anymore. Another is his crooked nose it’s crooked from breaking 😭 you can see the comparison from the pre post trauma drawing and a few more scars and boom traumatized man

I think my main goal was to just make him a sad wet abandoned dog and I think it kinda worked haha

The reason he’s human is cause of my dsmp hc (c!Tommy c!Dream and c!wilbur is the only humans) and even though holy fuck hybrid dream would be such a fun design (looks over at Faye’s c!dream) thought that it would be wayyy scarier or makes sense with the story I want to tell if he was a human and being the only true monster in a world full of monsters

Noa loves seeing your art, but he never asks you to show it. Usually, he just waits for you to approach him with it. Whenever you do, he calmly praises you for it. He could also stare at your art forever. He's definitely thought about asking you to draw something for him multiple times, and he'd pay you for it, but he always backs out of it when he's about to ask because he knows how busy you are with school and soccer. He just doesn't want to put any extra work on you.

Chris asks to see your art every single time he meets you. He loves flipping through your sketchbook and gets excited every time he sees you improve on something. He's also the type of person who always says "I can barely draw a line!" You already complained about that the first time he said it, so now he only does it to tease you.

Lavinho adores your art and your passion for it so much. Whenever you mention an art supply or brand you want to try, in less than one week he's bought it for you. If you're okay with it, he likes to watch while you're drawing. He also asks a lot of questions about your artwork and especially your school projects.

Snuffy was actually surprised to find out you not only have a passion for soccer, but also art and see a possible future career in it. He's very supportive and offers help whenever you start getting overwhelmed with school. He's very impressed by your art and praises it a lot, but if you tell him criticism is okay, he will be honest and tell you what he doesn't like. But he's always very nice and encouraging about it because he wants to see you improve more.
