Ok, I feel kinda confident in sharing it officially.

So, I started working on a website a while ago that is meant to be a compartmentalised journalling service. The goal is to increase communication between alters in a system.

The main feature is how each alter gets their own space to write, and then there's a "Communal Journal" that's open to everyone in the system to use. Users can use it as a bulletin board, as a diary that everyone contributes to, whatever suits you and your system. Lighthouse also supports multiple systems for one user.

There's also pages to log about your inner world, post system rules/internal boundaries, and any wishes or goals alters may want to achieve. You can even set what terms are used in place of "alter" and "system".

At some point, there will also be interactive worksheets that are usually used for DID or C-PTSD to also use if one so chooses.

My system leaves updates on @lighthouse-app (also posted on the info section)! But feel free to send an ask either there or here if you need help or have a question!

Fun fact I used to consume a lot of Land of the Lustrous stuff.

Anyways this is one of my many Land of the Lustrous OCs, Vivianite. Mohs hardness of 1.5, dark green/blue in colour, and very old. Due to the nature of his weak composition, Vivianite can't actually do much of anything, and has had to live under very specific conditions.

Vivianite wears a tight full body uniform to hold any chipped pieces in place, and is kept in a box stuffed with loose cloth to ensure minimal damage. If he comes into contact with light, he begins to oxidize and darken, so he's kept in a windowless room with curtains over the entrance.

That's all to say he's isolated and bored. He spends much of his time inactive, but he'll jump at the opportunity for conversation if there's someone around. Certain gems visit him to chat, get guidance, or give him the recent news. A task given to some gems is to clear his room of dust, and maybe bring him some books if he's up for it.

Vivian sees himself as an older sibling/friend to many of the other gems, and as such he's very keen on providing a listening ear and giving advice where possible to those who need it. He's essentially emotional support in a can.

Other notes/details:

not all gems know Vivian exists! He's hidden away so most gems wouldn't see him unless they were actively looking for him. A lot of the older ones know about him, but the younger ones don't

Rutile is endlessly tired of having to glue him back together so often due to his softness, which is part of why he has a tighter uniform to keep all his broken pieces in place

Vivian struggles with walking, he tends to be slow and stumbly

the tanks in Vivian's room are for jellyfish. Gems who are sent to clean his room have to switch out the jellyfish too. They're there to provide a faint light source so he doesn't go completely inactive

Vivian, despite living in a box in the dark, has a lot of technical knowledge about things as a result of millennia of going through the library collection. He' a living encyclopedia and can usually offer some answers if a gem has questions on a particular subject

his internal structure is basically a lot of shards stuck together like fibers, so he does minor repairs on himself by affixing strands of his hair into empty spots. He's had his fingers repaired and replaced this way often

In the few instances where Vivian has gone outside, he has an abnormally high amount of energy as a result of his inclusions being able to work at full capacity in the light

He does this knowing the risk and he couldn't care less #also also‚ he has weird inclusions. What makes them odd is the fact that he can move them around and concentrate them in different areas #he's stiff cause he keep most of his inclusions packed in his torso‚ not his limbs. This also ensures he doesn't lose anything #by touching something and having his fingers (inevitably) flake apart #There's more but I'll save that for later. Good day ^^

I gave myself a writing challenge and I am fascinated by it

So basically I put the robins in a randomizer to give them a new order/role (because I just...kinda wanted to see what would happen + I like role-reversal AUs) and got results that are giving me a fucking brain blast.

Stephanie, the first sidekick who defines the role

Tim, the sidekick who dies and comes back wrong

Dick, the sidekick who saves Batman from himself

Damian, the sidekick who was never supposed to be a sidekick but would go on to prove everyone wrong

Jason, the youngest sidekick who is still the Kid Wonder

...So this is fucking wild. I've got some ideas and several of these fit perfectly (Dick's role is pretty similar to his one in canon), but some of these are fucking INCREDIBLE to explore (Steph being the first Robin is something I never even considered but tbh I kinda love it).

I probably won't write a fic or anything because tbh I don't like publishing my writing that much, but I might expand this into a full AU and post about it. I might randomize other stuff too (ie, stuff that I cannot change vs stuff that I cannot keep the same) but this fucking rules as a starting point.

Fëanorian Week 2023, Day 1: Maedhros

I’m so late with these I’m not even fashionably late.  But better late than never (cf. Fingolfin, probably, after finally getting to Middle Earth).

To anyone who went “Hmm I wonder if the theme this year is going to be classical sculpture?”, well, congratulations, you’re right, though I don’t know how you would have guessed that.  I was originally going to do something where I based each drawing off the meaning of the name, and since “Maitimo” means “well-shaped one” the first thing that came to mind was a Greek or Renaissance statue.  But after finishing it I decided that it had been a lot of fun and I might as well do the rest the same way.  And it sort of fit into the whole Fëanorian theme since Nerdanel is a sculptor.

Here's my Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon team, comprised of Sage, a human-turned-Riolu, and Blaze, a Fennekin... The Unity!!

This was my team from my initial playthrough when I finally... Picked the game up after remembering I've had it for years and yet had never played it.

Now I have so many thoughts about them because, um.... well you ever just play a game and then it consumes your thoughts for months on end-

a lot of it is just random thoughts though :D (though, there are some major spoilers mentioned!)

Sage:

They tend to get really quiet when they're thinking or trying to figure something out. They'll kinda stop responding to people, and if they do talk it's usually really short one or two word replies and then just go right back to Thinking

Aside from Blaze, they're closest to Nuzleaf, Ampharos, and Mawile!

They view Blaze kinda like a little sister. They usually don't mention this out loud, though - they feel kinda silly about it yknow?? They also view Mew as a little sibling, though are a lot more open about that then they are with how their view Blaze

They tend to be Very Clingy to people they're close to - if you are close w/ them then ummmm. Get Hugged!

Y'know how Riolu's have their aura abilities? Well Sage has those because... Riolu. They've used those abilities exactly once and don't even remember it - they aren't even aware they have these abilities tbh!

Picked up on some things Nuzleaf says a lot, and sometimes will unintentionally repeat it or otherwise incorporating it into their own speech without realizing. They think it's embarrassing, Blaze thinks it's hilarious

Blaze:

She has ADHD! sage and blaze are autism 🤝 adhd solidarity together sdfghfd

Despite how fast she tends to recover from bad things happening, some stuff still kinda gets to her more than she wants to let on. She'll still try and hide it and act as if it's not bugging her, but she slips up at times

When her Harmony Scarf turns her into her evolved form, Blaze's eyes change color from their usual red to a bright blue (like Mew's eyes!)

Excluding Sage (and also Carracosta), she's closest with Ampharos, Buizel and Dedenne!

After the epilogue events she wanted to get back to regular expeditions the Very next day, while also still needing to get used to the whole... Existing again thing. Ended up falling on her face a few times while being like "I am completely ready to get back to work!!! lets go!!!!" and Sage and Ampharos just kinda stared at her for a moment like ".....um. yeah i'm not so sure about that blaze" sdfghgfds

She likes to race people places. Going to school in the morning? Race you there. Heading back to Lively Town after an expedition? Racing you there as well. She just thinks it's fun!

In season 3 Caitlin had these slight side bangs, so I think I'm going to keep that and I decided that Killer Frost wasn't going to have pupils. Frost's features are also slightly sharper than Caitlin's.

Toybird is the ship between Red Daughter x Winn Schott from Supergirl, more specifically from a fanfiction that have Red Daughter a second chance at the life she deserved to live.

Idk about you, but these are some similar ship archetypes, the angsty doppelganger of the superhero who is given a second chance after being a villain/threat to team and their intelligent friend who wants to help.

Also, I'm starting to believe that all the ship wars would have been solved if the writers just pulled a Tentoo x Rose. Like come on, there's a multiverse, doppelgangers... It's right there!
