Lamikkaku anon here, I wanted to share some headcanons and thoughts about modern AU Lamikkaku because I think I've just come up with the most precious thing ever.

So, I think modern AU Lami would be cronically ill/have some health problems. (I was thinking about her being a survivor to childhood lung cancer that was caused by long term exposure to asbestos, since the Amber Lead Deasease seemed like it was referencing that. And therefore having long term health problems due to treatment)

It would affect her breathing and heart (cue Law deciding to become a cardiosurgeon to help people with similar problems) but also her body and personality as well. The steroids based treatments made her gain weight that she hardly lost, she has scars from various surgeries, and she became an introvert that struggles to meet new people. She feels guilty that she always made her parents worry and made Law miss out on many childhood experiences too, as he hardly saw his parents who were caretaking his sister and was mostly looked after by their godfather Corasan.

Cue my transfemm Ikkaku headcanon. She also struggles with acceptance and body immage issues, worrying about her appearence and not being "feminine enough", as well as some anger issues she develoeped due to tauning from others. I think she may also have issues with her family due to this. It contribuited in her being somewhat "hostile" when trying to meet new people and trusting them.

They met because of Law. Lami doesn't have many friends of her own so she hangs out in his friend group and meets Ikkaku. Its sorta of a love at first sight. Lami looks at Ikkaku and views her basically has a goddess: one with a flawless body, untouched by medical horrors, a sassy and sarcastic personality that sports a level of confidence that she can never have. And Ikkaku sees Lami as an angel: a kind, gentle person with such soft, and a heart of gold thats completely pure, cute ligneaments and a caring and amazing family that loves and supports her.

They start talking and getting close, opening up more to eachother, about their insecurities and fears. The topic of dating eventually comes up and both are very catious about it: Lami isn't sure about what she can give, her health problems are something she always saw as a burden, and she doesn't want to give this burden to anyone else. And Ikkaku thinks she would be awful for Lami, after all Lami is such a nice and kind person, Ikkaku considers herself far too brute to be good for her.

There is also another added thing... Lami can't have children. The treatment made her sterile, and its something she always knew but only really started grieving now. Part of her thinks this makes her an inadequate partner, a not good enough girlfriend (Bullshit, Lami is perfect and you know it) and Ikkaku also had mixed feelings about her own body functions, with transphobes harrassing her and saying shit like "ReAl WoMeN CaN GiVe BiRtH!!!" (Bullshit, I fucking hate this terf behaviour).

The two of them understand eachother deeply due to these things about themselves. Ikkaku never saw Lami's health as an obstacke, it just something that is part of her and makes her unique, and Lami doesn't give a shit about Ikkaku being trans, she loves her because of her personality and the way she is treated by her.

Eventually they do manage to start dating. Its a gradual process, but it doesn't matter because they have their love. They also protest and advocate for themselves, weather its trans/queer rights or better funding and medical treatments (insurance is a SCAM) and marriage equality in both cases.

Law couldn't be happier for her (he doesn't show it at all but he cries of happyness in a corner at least 5 times a day. Bepo calms him down) he also goes on double dates with them and [insert character you ship Law with].

And occasionally there are double dates with Penguin and Shachi as well (Penshachi and transmasc Penguin my beloved) but they have to be very carefull because if they mess something up Law will come after them with a weapon of mass destruction.

And Cora is so proud of them!!! His little girl finally finding confidence, loving her own skin, advocating for herself and all with the love of her life by her side. This man is so goddam happy you wont believe it!!! He gives Ikkaku his full blessing and some older transfolk advice (transmasc Corasan my beloved) he is already picturing their wedding, and he's crying about it. Someone get this man a tissue, or a blanket.

This is all so beautiful!! I've always loved Modern AUs but this one is especially soft. I love how they both have their own issues feeling loved but end up overcoming them together,,, Also, Cora would be the best father-in-law ever in the world. He's so. So happy. He loves Ikkaku so damn much-- And I think Law is concerned at first because he loves and trusts his friends a lot but whenever Lami and Ikkaku go on dates. Together. Alone. Law worries a lot in case something might happen. But Ikkaku is a sweetie with Lami and when Law realizes that everything is okay and the world isn't ending and nobody is dying he cries because he's just so so so relieved.

Hi :] so since everyone is taking a different path on playing this game this is what I have so far

Currently I have completed the tutorial section, have only Dragon Tears #1 and #2, and completed the Wind Temple

I wanted to write down my thoughts after I finished w the tutorial section but I was just so excited to play I just kept going until I finally decided to take a small break from playing the game for almost the entire day lol. ALSO I will include pics...in some parts

ANYWAYZ THE BEGINNING SECTION I NEED TO GET THIS OFF MY CHEST CAUSE I WAS LOSING MY MIND ABT IT. So when Zelda explains how the "gloom" works I WAS JSUT "...that sounds like the Malice im my au HMMM NO WAY I PREDICTED THIS MY BRAIN HUGE" JNSDKJFNSD I liked that we get to see a little bit more of Zelda before she disappears but also! I liked how she is still prevalent in the story and aids Link at some point in the tutorial section. Also I just find it funny how she appears to people like ghosts knfgskng I know for sure that would be explained why later on.

Now to the tutorial, I had a lot of fun with the shrines better yet all the shrines in general have been super fun. None of them have been a drag to me I have a lot of fun especially that you have to use your arm abilities and that stuff never gets old to me. TBH THO there were a few moments when traveling around the island where my muscle memory is to press "x" to paraglide when I suddenly remembered I don't have the paraglider JFNGKDNF I was yearning for that paraglider.

Sorta of a side note I am really loving how npcs have more personality, like Purah and Robbie just radiate so much more as characters than in BotW. I am loving so far the new npcs it makes the world feel less empty.

Now...to the moment i've been waiting to talk abt. The Dragon tear memories

And like I said the ost where thats building up when reaching the Wind Temple *chef's kiss* AND how the Wind Temple's theme mixes both Vah Medoh's theme (attacking and inside) and Rito Village. Reminding you what you're fighting for especially in Tulin's case

I am having a lot of fun with this game I am currently just wandering around in the Hebra region. ALSO NOW THAT I REMEMBER I WAS REALLY THROWN OFF BY THE SUBTLE CHANGES THE MAP HAS I STILL AM AND I GET IT for like ppl who played BotW make it feel completely different/new. Honestly its fun it feels like im exploring Hyrule for the first time again its nice <3

and that is all I have tbh I might disappear and come back w more ramblings. I want to say more but I don't want this post to be super long. The fact that I only got one Temple complete and two memories and I still have a lot more to do is so crazy to me

You said you're willing to talk about writing and I know you can't contribute as much (fair, I'm an author and earlier someone asked you about pastels and I was like, well duh they like pastels look at their tumblr layouts only to keep reading asks and realized they were talking about the other kinds of pastels 😭)

But right now I just feel so excited as a writer cause I've got some really exciting plans coming up soon. With my current WIP (beloved sex worker au) I'm dabbing into very different character dynamics and really mature themes that I never let myself explore before

And either after that's done or before I finish it as a little break I'm planning on something that's gonna be really short and sweet. It'll be a nice change of pace from the sex worker au and its gonna be shorter so less thinking needed. I hesitate to call it low-effort cause it's not really, but that's probably gonna cap out between 3k-5k which is bite-sized for me as a writer to work on (I know for some writers that's pretty long and no shame to them, just for my personal averages that's very much on the short end of the spectrum)

As for Azula, I really wished they left the breaking down era a little bit later. Like yeah, Azula wasn't right in the head from the beginning but that was shown more in how terrifyingly aloof and unstoppable she was in the earlier episode I believe but, well.

There's already a bond between Aang and Zuko but I've yet to see anything half like OG Katara and Aang!

Hmmm, actually, regarding Azula..... Ozai is, weirdly, invested in Zuko in a way we could've said OG Ozai would never say that. Which explains Azula here.

I love the avatar state glowy effects!

The sexism against Katara doubled and coated with genuine concern and real-life reasons that makes it hard to counter argue is making me lean in, in anticipation of how it will make my Katara blow up.

...... So no plan?..... I'm working on it, Uncle.

Excited to have Katara's bending to visibly improve, like in the OG. And by that I meant how organically her water whip evolved smoother and faster in the animation. Like, you could see it.

Getting rid of their machine controls renders the fire army sitting ducks in the middle of ocean. Which makes me think of that reverse AU where the water tribe conquers the world.

If the water benders all work together, they can just have a giant tsunami turn them all over.

Master? Master Katara?...... That's so.... It's surprising rather than something you'd anticipate and cheer when we finally gain it.

Not a single waterbending training montage with Pakku. I'm still not sure if Pakku trained her or just gave her the title.

I like that I can tell that they know what they want to do with Sokka.

Not so much with Katara.

I gasped when all the Northern Tribe female waterbenders stepped forward like that.

So. There's a lot of stuff that they removed and added that I didn't like- less 'added', and more 'rushed'. Things that should've built up gradually, that could've been revealed in little bits were just immediately shown to us- my example here is Azula. When I first saw Azula, she was terrifying, her and her group were both my dream group and incited fear and awe in younger me, I didn't think she was insecure, I didn't think she was scared, she was practically the damn terminator with that epic episode of tracking the gaang slowly but steadily and driving them to exhaustion.

Is she actually insecure and batshit insane and scared? Yes. Was that what you were supposed to be able to tell with a single glance? No.

At first I thought maybe I was just biased with Katara, but I also feel like a lot of stuff they did with Azula was just.....

They did Sokka good, which was actually who I was concerned about the most. Zuko- I really love his portrayal. My moments of doubt with Aang are actually closely tied with Katara, which makes sense because hello, their friendship and bond was very important to the whole thing. Would've been a wonderful contrast to his Past bond with Gyatso and his Future bond with Katara.

I do think it's good.

Silly SAGAU Snippets

I saw a few authors sharing their sagau-ish experiences with genshin after I started writing sagau so here I am... because I'm having a block with my Aether angst sob sob, have this instead (just so you know, I refuse to do my ar45 ascension quest unless im desperate enough for primos) an AU where they also know of other players, but you're their fave :d

Xiao's ult damage getting higher??? Plus his elemental bursts too??? I keep seeing the crit damage achievement slowly getting higher (KINDA PROUD OF HIM THO COS HE'S MY FIRST AND ONLY SOMEWHAT BUILT CHARACTER) And my spoilt 5*

He just had to show you how valuable he is. You almost forgot about him so now that you've given him his weapons, artefacts and materials, he finally has the power to make sure you can't replace him with weaker characters. Of course he can't just make his damage shootall the way up, you might get suspicious (or not... he knows you'll simply be happy when you see higher numbers and might not even question it).

When I told literally all my friends who played genshin, I'll pull on Ayaka's banner just for Razor cons, and Razor cons came home twice in one 10 pull:D

You? Wanted? Him? Normal Razor? Razor... nothing amazing... But you said you want him. Razor feel happy. Want you to also be happy. He help. He make sure. So he catch 2 purple shooting stars for you. :D

Are you sure? He knows not many people want him nowadays and the amount of disappointed sighs and annoyance towards him increase more each day. But seeing and hearing you so excited, not a drop of annoyance in your tone, asking him to come home like that? How could he resist. It's fine, Ayato will probably have his own solo banner in the future again. So just this once, he'll be selfish.

Ok, guys, listen. On Ayato's banner right, I actually didn't plan on pulling for him on my main cos I wanted to save just in case. But I was tempted into pulling simple because I had 10 intertwined fates and I SAW A GOLD SHOOTING STAR AND BOOM AYATO?!?!?!?! (below 10, that's all I'm saying)

Diluc, that conniving rascal. That was supposed to be him. It's fine. Honestly, he's a little peeved that you didn't want him on your main... and you really wanted Xingqiu over him? A 4* over a 5*? Ridiculous. He'll show you just how great he is. And how could he let you, a bubble tea addict, let you be? He knows you'll stare at him more often(to wait for his idle animation) and boy does that boost his ego.

Also managed to secure Ayaka at low pity(below 50👀) even when I really didn't plan for her on coming home

She's happy for her brother! How could she not when there's a chance for someone to represent the Kamisatos? Just... she's a little jealous... how easily Ayato caught that gold star... (She's not going to think about how you didn't even plan on getting her, nope.)Oh! But, she thinks she can catch one too! It just took her a little longer than her brother, but it's fine!

Was doing the Azhdaha domain for my Yanfei talents materials and Xiao earned himself a cool 7% anemo dmg bonus gladiator piece...

He will not admit he's getting greedier. He just... he just wants to help your team, that's all. You liked not dying before your enemies, so logically, you'd want stronger characters, right? So, just for today, he'll take a nice artefact for himself. (He ignores the pride blooming in his chest when you opened your chat to scream to your friend how perfect it was for him.)

In conclusion, the 5-stars want attention because I like the 4-stars more.

I probably have more but I need to sleep anbdkkwkd anyways, yes, expect some writings about these in the future because I wanna thank genshin for treating me so good :d

i love this question sm and same!! i believe i became a proper fan around december or january of last year so i don't remember it feeling this fast, but this season flew right before my eyes 😭😭 i was having breakfast when i saw the announcement of quinn being captain and now he's about to finish his first season as one? that's still crazy to me.

ANYWHO LONG ANSWERS BUT:

1- This was honestly supposed to be a two part comic. The entire au is based off of experiences I have had (minus the whole dying part of course) with my cousins and or brother. The first part was about Donnie and Mikey- and Mikey having the puppy dog eyes that Donnie couldn't do. That was about my cousin! It was supposed to just be like oh look Mikey can do puppy eyes. And then I saw something about how kids that struggle with understanding emotions can practice expressions in the mirror sometimes* and was like haha I should add this since it's actually something I used to do as well! THEN I wrote the line about him wanting to be the youngest and I mean... my brain went straight to "now what if Mikey dies"...

I didn't expect people to like it as much as they did tbh... so when people started to really comment on it I was like okay I should bring Mikey back to life... But then it turned into a whole au...

It's almost entirely planned out now! And most comics are still based off of stories of things that have happened with my cousins or brother! (Like how I smashed my cousins legos because I was angry at him.... its a long story lol).

*(It can also be something that kids with autism do... and someone actually pointed it out! ->)

2- Thats a really hard one... I think my fav has to do with the situation I guess? Or how I'm feeling? But Donnie and Mikey are probably my favorite overall! But only by a teensy tiny bit.

Raph and Mikey are my favorite angst wise, and the ones I can relate to the most. Leo and Mikey are really fun, and I really like using it to explore responsibility.

I think it does show in the comic! I mean I went straight to the PB & J duo- and then with Leo and Mikey I really explored responsibility. With Raph and Mikey it was shorter, but it was a lot more emotional for me personally. And right now Raph and Mikey are really getting the spotlight. Though Leo and Mikey are the main ones in the next update! :)

I honestly wanna ask so much, like about the sirens of your world in general, Scar & BigB's backstory, if there's a reason the current name is sweethearts siren au, are Jimmy & Grian like on a vacation or have moved here permanently, how you plan to share/tell the story... I didn't want to seem overwhelming or weird tho so I've been trying to figure out just about all day, which question I should ask first and how I should word it. I still haven't quite decided (tho I was leaning towards asking more about the sirens) but that's because I didn't want to step on your toes if you were already planning out some posts.(which is why I said whenever you're ready to share) And I hope admitting this doesn't make me seem weird or overly excited... I just want to be honest tbh lol.

anon i love you sooooo much thank you for asking so many lovely things about my au :D Please never be worried about being too enthusiastic or asking too many questions, this is genuinely so fun for me and I love being able to talk about and think about this au in depth (under cut since there is a lot!!)

Ok so you wanted to know more about sirens? I have 600 words of worldbuilding on this so I'll try to condense it a little? Sirens are pretty neat, again I did kind of remake them as a species to better fit this au but a lot of the basics still stand. They aren't strictly romantic seduction, and leans more heavily into just really strong compulsion of any variety, though that still is a thing (i just don't plan on implementing it much). The specific aspect of luring people to their death also isn't a strict necessity, but definitely still common (and I do want to incorporate this into the au). Sirens can have any fishtail, but it does matter on their location/habitat. Scar's a lionfish, and I haven't quite decided on B yet but it's going to probably be a blue one. Either type of ear (the pointed ones or the webbed ones) are pretty much random, but both have scales on the face. The main thing that distincts sirens from any other merfolk (in terms of physical appearance) are the hands, much more clawed and very scaley. I liked the idea of jewlery being very ingrained and important in siren culture, so that's why you'll see a lot of necklaces and earrings andstuff on both my Scar and B designs (though noticeably a lot more on B, no real reason for that quite yet). Sirens also have much longer lifespans than humans, and thus it's a bit hard for some to understand the idea of mortality when it comes to the killing aspect. Still, some sirens don't like the general idea of control and/or murder and choose to live as regular merfolk, but that's really tough to do as sirens aren't trusted by pretty much anyone who isn't a siren. Their voices don't work on other sirens but do work all other animals, though it does still impact relationships amongst sirens (as can be seen in B and Scar). Siren voices are pretty cool! They develop throughout childhood, starting with none (using the term 'voice' to refer to their ability to control btw, probably should have established that sooner) and slowly turning small persuasions into full control. Not super well documented in-universe due to nobody but sirens hanging out with them, especially in youth. Practice is also necessary to get 'good' at using one's voice. As in, those who use it frequently can fade into it near seamlessly without letting on that they're using it until it's in full effect and can easily start using it most of the time. For those who aren't as accustomed to it (either from deliberate lack of use or inexperience in general), using the voice can be much more noticeable, with a very noticeable shift in tone and volume. It's also much more difficult to start, requiring a lot more concentration and effort. Much like learning to use a new muscle, i'd imagine. Moments of stress, high pressure, or other extreme emotions or factors hinder both skill levels, and can even be worse on those with experience as it might be their only way out of a very tense situation. That's most of my siren worldbuilding? As time goes on and this hopefully expands more there will probably be a lot more to add.

The reason for sweethearts siren au is simply because that's my personal duo name for Grian and B (It's really cute I think, with 'sweet' coming from grain/breads and b's affinity with cookies, and hearts coming from the heart Grian built in double life and their general connection to the life series. And because it sounds adorable and they are sweethearts, /p or /r) and they're kind of the 'main duo' as far as I've thought? As in, I have the most complex interactions and dynamics that i've laid out for them thus far and they're the most developed so far. Also, I don't have a duo name that I like/know for any of the other characters and especially not specifically these 4, and i'm not clever enough to come up with one just yet. So, sweethearts siren AU for the time being. Grian and Jim are here as fishmongers just to make a living, pretty much? This au was created around when I first got *super* into stardew and especially the fishing mechanism (I maxxed out the fishing skill while at 0 for pretty much everything else), so I really wanted to just put some of my favorite guys into a fish situation. Aged pretty well, I'd say, with Grian's recent obsession with fishing. But yeah, just fishermen and/or small farmers on the side (the stardew leaking into this again) trying to make a living in a coastal area until they discover The Sirens. I will say, the one thing that I do have down very solidly is Grian and Jim's absolute oblivion to the presence of sirens at this specific ocean/town, and Jimmy being the first one to interact directly with them (specifically, Scar). I don't really feel like doing the whole skeptic-of-the-supernatural-until-its-glaringly-obvious thing, but I might add it a little bit in Grian's character if I feel the story needs a bit more to spice it up. I also really love Jimmy and Scar's dynamic, especially how easily Jimmy falls for whatever ploy Scar's doing so I think that would fit perfectly into the siren dynamic. This au's 'story' starts pretty much right when Grian and Jim move, but in terms of chronological order I really don't have much down solidly. I struggle a lot sometimes with telling the story I want to tell and keeping everyone in character, so it's pretty difficult to make sure the siren's use of their voices, *especially* Scar, is realistic and not too drastic. I've been toying with the idea of the big first event being something with Scar putting Jimmy in danger (something like taking him underwater to the depths and malicious use of his voice, potentially) and that forcing B and Grian to make a tentative alliance to get him back, but I don't really think that's too in character of an action for Scar to make so it's very annoying. As far as telling this story goes, probably mostly through exposition-like posts like this, for the most part. I'd love to write some stuff for this au, obviously, and probably will do small things, but that would probably be a much longer project for me that wouldn't get done for ages. Also posting art of it, even if it doesn't have much context or is what builds the context itself. This is part of the reason i'm really glad people are sending asks, since I don't have any plans for posts about this since I don't know what specifically to talk about or what people want to know and also don't want to seem too annoying (?) with excessively posting about this lol. Thank you so much for the ask, and especially if you actually read all of this. I love talking about things I enjoy, and if you have any more questions I would absolutely love to hear them. It gives me a really good chance to think over what actually happens and the specificities of this which I really appreciate :D

WOAH YOU'VE BEEN LEARNING ASL FOR THREE YEARS??? THAT IS SO SICK!!! I'm glad that Donnie using it makes you happy, I truly think he taught all of the turtles and April ASL ( or a modificed version) for when he needed to communicate nonverbally, ya know? Unfortunately there won't be any in the Rural au because historically, Leo would not have gotten an oppurtunity to learn any type of sign language :(

However I might look into it more in a futru version of the au where he's older, since they did start using sign language more prevantly after the 1940s and then much more into the 60s!! First of all, happy new year!! I've been following your stories for two years now and it's one of the best things I've ever done. Yesterday you made my year end in the best way, reading mh. I just want to say thanks for jk and y/n talking and solving their problems, from now on I know more things are coming but I don't know what to expect from the two of them, especially because of y/n wanting to take a break from their sex life and jk doubting that proposal 😬

Also a few days ago I finally decided to start reading love lockdown, I spent a long time holding back the urge to read it because I wanted to read several chapters in a row and when I saw that you post such a long chapter, i said THIS IS MY TIME.

Normally zombie apocalypse stories are quite cliché but written by you I knew I was not going to be disappointed. I just want to say that I don't think I ever wanted so much for there to be something sexual between two characters, the tension was too much and when it happened it was beautiful lol. I know it's a slow burn story and it's going to be hard for there to be something romantic between them, but I'm also really excited for the drama with cherry 😭 I'm going to wait as long as it takes to see how that story goes because I know A LOT of drama and character deaths are coming (if taehyung dies, I die too).

Finally I just want to thank you for this great year because it must be really hard to write so many amazing stories at the same time, every one of them is worth reading and I hope everyone realizes that. I hope this year you are happy and healthy, Mimi 💜💜💜💜💜

You even gave 2L a chance? 🥹 well I truly appreciate that! I’ve had a zombie apocalypse au in my head for so long but I never had the guts to write it. I think the biggest moment of me wanting to write it was when I started watching TWD [The Walking Dead for those who don’t know this show] and that was like 4-5 years ago?! 😳 like I said, I never got around it but I still had an idea until I came up with 2L all of a sudden (after stopping to watch that show for some reason may I add). I knew what I wanted with this story was for it to be original. Even tho they can be a familiar elements to other zombie apocalypse movies/tv shows. I definitely haven’t watched many of them, but maybe I should haha? I really wanted to write my own version of this genre, pick what I think is the best. I even tried to use a name for zombies that I never seen/heard anywhere [undeads] and I love it! I put everything into this story and it makes me happy you guys enjoy it and love it! Seriously, every feedback just brings me so much joy! Especially since 2L is probably the least liked story by people out of all my current ongoing stories 🥹 so thank you very very much!!!

Hello, sorry to bother you, but I was wondering if you would be interested in this Godrick thing that I've been contemplating writing. I don't simp for him (I do think he's interesting though) so it's not like an nsfw thing.

I was inspired by that scene from the Elden Ring manga where Godrick's men are cheering for him and it made me want to write...like this small thing about 'what if Godrick's men actually liked him?'. Basically just this really OOC thing about if he was more chill I guess? I kind of want him to have an AU where things are slightly better for him?

I haven't written anything and I promise this isn't meant to be like...a sales pitch (for lack of a better term). Idk where I'm going with this. Imagine the typical love triangle, where two people like one person, or sometimes it's like a chain… or whatever…

Soooooo, by contrast a love asterisk is like, all the different parts of the asterisk come and meet in the middle because EVERYONE likes the person in the middle to some degree or another! I've always loved stories like that! 🤡

Not that I'm gonna get… TOO out of hand… I hope!! I guess that's really subjective! 😭💀 BUT, hopefully that helps answer your question at least a little vaguely!

A lot of people have made some very correct guesses on things, though! (Also Hawks is absolutely like the third most important character to the story, so he has a loooot of weight to him. And, I mentioned this in my comments, so it's fair to mention now: Bakugou does show back up! I did NOT mention this in my comments, but I will ALSO say this: Shouto does, too!

still fighting my owl house daemon au (way harder to get into something when your writing time is down from 4-5 hours a day to like 1 hour if youre lucky + youre so tired during said hour that its hard to focus enough to get words on the page) but i AM so excited about some of the ideas i've had. oh ho ho i have big plans for titan luz when she shows up...oh i cannot WAIT.

ive been turning this core conflict over and over in my head like well how do we resolve this? and then i looked at titan luz. and at this trope i really really dislike in daemon aus where it is often that the daemon will be left behind and the human who will do the cool think (ie in a work where characters shapeshift, usually it is the human who controls that, while the daemon sorta just vanishes and is lucky to get offhand mentions). and a luz's cool titan for. and i started rubbing my hands together like IVE FIGURED IT OUT.

also i solved the huge problem making it harder to write (solution: change the pov character) which is so so reliving. like i love writing i would not be me without it but when you have been writing the same story for So Long you do just get to a point where more than anything you want it to be DONE NOW even tho that is fully impossibly bc i have AT MINIMUM another 200k words to write.

anyways. all that to say. owl house daemon au my love. one day you will exist on ao3 and then youll see! then youll all see!

hiii moon anon here i have a lot to say but first off: i've been analyzing the title song settle down and i've been listening to it over and over again and is the story gonna parallel the lyrics itself?? "and i don't seem to be having any effect now" like thats… oooh the angst is gonna be delicious. i hope you take this as a compliment when i say this but the whole fic takes me BACK to 2013-2015 YOU KNOW THAT ERA HAHAHA the tropes, the ambiance, the CHARACTERS!! side question: is mark or jisung gonna play bigger roles? or did they just act as plot devices for reader and haechans development. would not mind either way but given the concept of the story i can totally imagine reader coming back and just wreaking havoc on the band. sorry i love mess lol. maybe i'm delusional or maybe its the fact that it's haechan but it makes me more understanding of the character?? i trust you when you say that there's more to rockstar hc than meets the eye, and especially from his perspective it's pretty realistic that he has his guard up when it comes to really connecting with people, and we see his walls slowly crumbling down by the end too. and even in the earlier parts of the story i didn't expect him to have his sweet moments?? i honestly expected him to be worse but god him calling her PRINCESS has me on my knees i will defend reader's choices with my life because i'd do the same, i'd probably still go to the concert by the end she's so much stronger than me helppp (tho DISCLAIMER i would not be doing this for just any man its bc its haechan why i am easily swayed by the little things,,, just like reader), but i liked how she decided to take a step back this time, especially when at that point haechan is basically offering her what she has always wanted, but knowing his past actions it won't be truly easy to hang onto every word said. this is the culmination of every mixed signals and rejection that haechan gave her, and the build up to it is veryyy well done. also im still reeling from reading the fic i felt sooo many emotions and dk how to fully articulate it yet,, maybe i'll come back when i do. i even made a playlist of my own w songs that reminded me of the fic to help me move on (at least until pt 2 gets posted, cant wait tho!!)

i take that as a DEFINITE COMPLIMENT i was so invested in that era it was so formative for me... hence a lot of the song choice in my playlist too... i don't know if i genuinely nailed the idea of rockstar in rockstar haechan (because truly...what is a rockstar...) but i did want to give it that 2013 band on tumblr vibe lmfao so i'm so glad you brought that up !!!!

AAAA the band still definitely continues to play a role... they have stuff to work out but i've thought about their characters a lot and i definitely want to show more of their opinions on haechan and reader (it wouldn't be a rockstar au without that). someone else i want to add in is jaemin because ngl reader needs someone purely on her side

i hope i'm not promising too much with haechan HAHA i'm not someone who likes to give too much backstory to characters so i'm just putting it out there: i'm not going to explain that he's this way becaue he was cheated on before or he had family problems etc. i just want it to be genuine layers of his character and personality that's put to the test (love making it hard for myself LOL)

i'm so relieved to know you still managed to feel for his character and appreciate the softer sides of him and a bit of his struggle... i was worried i promised a super terrible character with the preview and people would be disappointed he ended up being so gentle with reader 😅

and her standing him up at the end!!! i'm glad you thought it was justified but at the same time recognise she probably was going to...it really could go both ways and idk if i'm still going through with my original plot arc !!! we will see :)
