i dont think you know what you signed up for... i could talk about goosebumps for AGES. its not their best song but its the perfect song for what we needed, when we needed it. like. okay it was THE perfect send off, it was everything we could have asked for! i wont say it was a cultural reset, because it wasnt, it was more like 'yes this is us, and we're still BEING us and we will be us once again'

the song is a banger. the music video is beautifully produced, calling back to other mv and yet keeping room open for the future. the promotion was actually pretty good too and you could TELL wm threw all their remaining money/effort into this last comeback -- because it WOULD be the last one. for two years. and if thats not enough then think about the BOOM oh my god we get from mk. gets me every mf time!!!!! its perfect for any time of the day, it's upbeat enough for a beautiful day but it also has a darker side to it making itperfect for night drives or rainy evenings. its so well done and the producers truly knew what they were doing with each members voice

goosebumps is one of my favorite songs ever if only because of the era that it produced as well, ive stayed up till 3/4am for exactly three comebacks and goosebumps was one of them. i remember we were all up really late and there were like ~12 of us all excitedly waiting together for it to drop, and i rmbr very specifically we all started posting like WTF ITS 2 MINS LATE.......... it was so funny. and all the ccs worked together to get their stuff out and we all rb each other stuff. it was a beautiful morning

then there were the performances (I LOVE the perf for goosebumps!!!! mk giving me all the energy i want in a choreo) and their concerts, which i watched with elle and haley (which again was another wonderful morning) we stayed up until 5am (my time) just obsessing over the concert, and then fuseblr broke down all together when mk enlisted first... then the rest of them... i mean it was a roller coaster of emotions, but like it was so worth it. you could tell the members were truly having fun, even while they had an expiration date...

also it gave me EVERYTHING i wanted in yuto. like that is when i became truly obsessed w him. they gave me purple hair (my fav color) they styled him in sexy leather AND THEN STYLED HIS HAIR UP... i dont think you and i were mutuals when goosebumps came out but i can tell you my fusetuals were there front and center when i went feral after seeing his forehead djfskhg and that was only in the mv! they gave me forehead!yuto TWICE after that!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CMON. LOOK AT THIS........ finally we get sexy yuto! i also have more to say but im going to end there. just KNOW goosebumps means the world to me in many ways...

in conclusion: goosebumps is onf's best era, because not only did it solidify their place in the industry with the high quality music and music video equal to beautiful beautiful -- but it showed the world (and fuses) that they weren't changing who they are, and that they'll be back. it brought everyone together, both in happiness but also in sadness. as a fuse, you automatically have a friend in onf and other fuses, and goosebumps only proved that.

im not going to apologize for how long this got because it is clear im not sane when it comes to onf or goosebumps. im not even trying to be normal anymore <3 im not putting this under a readmore either i NEED everyone to see this. also now that i wrote an entire thesis im going to rb all my goosebumps gifsets!!!!!!!!

ONF reacts to : You unconsciously tries to cover their eyes during interactions

A/N : Since I am imagining the dialogue in Korean so this will be a quick drabble and apologies in advance should this is messy. Also I might integrate ideas written here into other oneshots/hcs. So you can see this as some character establishments or even teaser. 

HYOJIN

(He is your neighbour and also your crush. Should we link this to university /senpai AU)

You wearing something that is different from your usual fashion. Its prom night and he is picking you up. The moment he saw you, his face lighten up immediately. He could not stop looking at you and he did not hide his expressions either. Grinning non stop with his smiley eyes.

You are not used to the clothes you are wearing and you thought he is teasing you. So you raised your hand to cover his eyes while saying : “Keuman Bwa!/ Stop staring!”

His reflex is good and he keep trying to dodge your palm from landing in front of his eyes. And he even lowkey complained : “Wae? Yeppujana!/ Why? You look good in it!”

(You two are quite loud people thought you two are having a fight but actually you are not. Its normal interaction.)

You gave in and stop your attempt to cover his eyes as you heard him praising you.

He grabs your hand and looks at you lovingly. And he says, “Come on, let’s hit the dance floor.”

CHANGYOON

You and Changyoon are having meal outside, maybe it is your favorite place. (Could be right after pandemic)

You are so happy about your food and you are happily enjoying it.

“Y/N-ah, Mashiseo? / Is it good?” Changyoon ask when he sees your delighted glimmering eyes

You nod as reply and munching while giving out happy squeals

Changyoon only smiles and looks at you He could not help but stare at you. At first it was mixed with he could not believe why and how you would love the taste (this is a bonus should you are imagining yourself as foreigner partner).

You later only notice his gaze, your mood quickly change from delight to nervous, you swallowed what is in you mouth and put down spoon/fork/food in you hand. Then you lift up you hand to block his view.

“Ah, mwoya?/ What?” Changyoon questioned while laugh at you actions wearily. He finds it cute tho.

“I did not know you have a hobby of watching mukbang tho.” You pouted

“I only watch mukbang by you. Come on, once you are done lets go get some ice cream.“ Changyoon offered and continued watching you eat.

SEUNGJUN

You are the easily nervous type and you somehow agreed with Seungjun that you two would play a who blinks who lose game.

You somehow fails at the game so much, Seungjun tried to jump scare you, tickles you and you still blinks.

Then Seungjun moves closer to you and grabs the side of your neck. You wondered why he did that and then he says,“Ne nun bwa./Look into my eyes.” as he leans closer to you.

“Kaman isseo/Stay still (he means your eyes).” he added

You could not push him away because he is looking at you affectionately. But then later, you could feel at that your cheeks are flushing.

He definitely notices it, and he is smirking.

You could not stand it anymore and then you lift both of your hands to cover his hands.

Seungjun adored your reaction and he could not help but laughed. While at it he places his hands on yours and say,“Y/N-ah, an boyeo~~~./ I cant see~~~” 

JAEYOUNG

Maybe doable for office au Jaeyoung? Or maybe the au where Jaeyoung is with partner with scars on their body?

Could be you are having a bad day and you are just casually ranting *(not in a toxic way)

While you are talking about your day while listening to you, Jaeyoung went into a “Aww..”mode and just stares at you. (Bonus on this if you rarely rant./shows this side of you in front of him)

You stops for a bit because he was not responding as usual so you wonder if he is actually listening. 

You turned to face him, only to find him looking at you affectionately. That successfully wash away all your upsets. Then reality hits your are embarrassed that you kind off showed a weak side of yours towards him, ans he is weirdly enjoying it.

Your cheeks flushed red and you hurried to in front of him and covered his eyes with your hands. “Bwojima/Dont look.”

“Ani, wae? / Why?” Jaeyoung did not attempt to take your hands away from covering his eyes, but he just pouted.

“Gwenchana/It is alright. It is not something to be embarrassed of, in fact I am happy that you trust me.” Jaeyoung assured you while you lowered you hands

MINKYUN (teaser)

You and Minkyun are making out casually on the couch. You break off the kiss to get some air. And you noticed Minkyun is staring at you

He looks worried if he gone too far and he kisses the back of your hand while waiting for you catch your breath

 You caught the sensual vibe from his gaze and out of embarrassment you tried to cover his eyes using the free hand of yours.

“Bwojima/ Don’t look.” you murmured, while trying to free your hand which Minkyun is squeezing tightly.

“Aah, Wae??” Minkyun questioned by aegyoed, he also let out his usual giggles as he lowering your hand that covering his eyes.

He knows you are trying to cover his eyes again with another hand, so he grasps both of your wrists and settling them at the sides of your head, lightly presses them on the couch.

“Sorry, I just.. its embarrassing” you replied him.

Before you could finish, Minkyun leans down to give as light kiss on your cheek. “Now that’s very cute of you Y/N’ah.”

YUTO

You are an art student or hobbyist artist. And your next project would be portrait. Maybe you kind of challenge yourself to draw in realistic style so you would need reference

Yuto agreed and he becomes your model. It was simple, there is 2 sessions, Yuto only need to stay still for 10 minutes for each session and you will need to work on your sketch.

To get better facial details, you sit in front of Yuto as you sketch. As Yuto could not move much his pupil keep wandering here and there. You chuckle and tell him to stay still, even his pupils. And so he did,then every time you lifted your eyes, both of your eyes meet precisely.

You felt something was off as his gaze got intentional and you clearly can see him smirking a bit. That smirk clearly broke your focus and you raised your sketchbook to form a wall, blocking Yuto’s gaze.

“Ya, na jibjunghaeya dwae!/ Hey. I need to focus!” You lightly smack on Yuto’s knee while hiding your beet red face behind your sketchbook.

He immediately break into his signature laughter while apologizing. And then tries to have a glimpse of your beet red face. It then escalates to you and Yuto having a mini wrestling because you are trying hard to cover your own face this time.

Jinho Jinho heard you let out a screak in the kitchen and he hurried over to see what is up. You see you holding your hand over the sink and you look at him with tears in your eyes. “I cut my finger while cutting the carrots…”. He would turn serious and helps you in the best way he can. He is relieved to see that it isn’t something major, but he still feels bad for you. He grabs you a bandage and applies it like a pro, which kind of impresses you. He confesses that he has cut his fingers often too. You two start up joking about it and he lights up the mood by finishing making dinner with you.

“Good to know we are at the same level of clumsiness”.

Hui You wanted to surprise Hui at his workplace, so you asked one of the members for the access code. At the same moment you want to open the door Hui swings it open. Right in your face. Not hard, but enough to leave a red mark on your cheek. Hui gasps and jumps. He was so shocked about the fact to see your face, but also because he just swung the door right into your face. He panics and apologizes three thousand times. He will tell you to sit down in this office and runs to the cafeteria to get some water and ice to for your face. After the whole incident is over, he asks you want you are doing here. “Wanted to surprise you… that turned out well”.

“I am such an idiot… I am so sorry baby…”

Hongseok You would be walking next to Hongseok when you suddenly twist your ankle. It is nothing major, but still hurts as hell. Hongseok caught you before you fell on the floor. He looks at you confused and askes what is wrong. You can see his concern on his face and quickly tells him it is nothing. It still hurts while walking. Hongseok chuckles at your stubbornness. He walks it front of you and tells you to jump on his back. The walks you the rest of the way home and makes sure to treat your ankle as soon as you get home. Even though you insist it is nothing and that you will be fine, he will stay with you. He laughs at the way you are ranting and decides to kiss you to shut you up.

“Let me just take care of you, okay?”

Edawn Edawn took you on a date to a swimming pool. It wasn’t very busy since it was a weekday and you both had a day off. It was one of those swimming pools with a lot of waterslides and fun stuff to do. Edawn really looked like a happy child and you two were having a lot of fun. A bit too much. You ended up tripping into the pool and scratched your knee. Edawn hurried your way as soon as he could. He was surprisingly calm and got a pool guard to treat your wound. He kept checking up on you if you were okay and you took a long break from swimming. You were worried that you ruined the date. Edawn assured you that you didn’t and that any date would be great as long as you two are together. Edawn and you ending up telling each other old stories about small injuries and you ending up laughing again.

“Are you sure you are good to go home by yourself, because I would love to bring you home and continue the date there”.

Shinwon You called Shinwon to cancel the date you two had planned. You really didn’t want to, but you had twisted your ankle and the doctor told you should stay home. You told him about your ankle and about the doctor’s advice, but also that you really wanted to see him. Shinwon hung up fast. You were worried that he is mad that you cancelled the date, but within a few minutes you heard the doorbell. Shinwon brought snack and ice packs for your ankle. He smiled and told you that there was no choice but continuing the date at home. You smiled and thanked him for being so sweet.

“I love taking care of you, so no need to thank me. Plus, you promised me you would have a Lord of the Rings marathon with me anyway”

Yeo one Yeo one heard a loud bonk, followed with your voice yelling something. He walks out of the living room to find you sitting on the staircase. He can’t help but chuckle at the funny face you are making. He asks you want happened. You look down embarrassed and rub your butt. “Fell down the stairs” you say softly. His smile will disappear as he notices that you may have really hurt yourself. He tells you down and askes if you are okay. You tell him you may have pulled a muscle. He brings you to the couch and checks your leg if it is okay. It wasn’t a bit fall, luckily. He is serious face faded as soon as he knows you will be okay. He will give you a kiss on your forehead and smile.

“Please be more careful next time, baby. You really scared me there”.

Yanan You and Yanan are both chilling on the couch. You are reading a book while Yanan is on his laptop working on something. You stand up and ask him if he wants some tea. You disappear into the kitchen for a while. After a few minutes Yanan hears you drop something. He stands up to see what happened. He sees you dropped one of the cups filled with tea. He askes if you are okay and inspects almost every part of you. You tell him you filled one of the cups to high and it spilled over the sides. He immediately grabs your arm and puts it under cold water. He cleans up the mess while you must stay under the water. After a few minutes he checks up on you. It helped a lot and you thank him.

“No need to thank me, baby. I am glad you didn’t get more water over you”

Yuto “Yuto can you help me for a second” you yelled from the bathroom. Yuto slowly makes his way to the bathroom. As soon as he walks in, he gasps. You are standing with your head over the sink and blood is coming from your nose. Yuto panics. You try to calm by telling he you just let a bottle drop and it hit your face. “really it is nothing major, I just need some tissues”. Yuto runs to the kitchen to get them and hands you them. He will stay with you even though you told him he can continue with what he was doing. Instead he stays and watches as you use all the first aid tricks you learned to stop the bleeding. He calms down as soon as he sees how well you control the situation. He is actually very impressed.

“Can you teach me how you just did that?!”

Kino You and Kino are visiting his parents. Kino has been excited all week for you to meet his parents, but also because you finally get to see his siblings and pets. You were very nervous, and it was very visible. Meeting the parents was great and the siblings liked you a lot. The only problem was his cats. They are usually very nice, but because of your tens posture they are nervous around you. You told Kino you needed some time to relax, because you know that cats will scratch if you are too tens. Kino laughed and didn’t listen. “They are really sweet, I promise”. Even though you told him not to, he puts one of the youngest cats on your lap. You tensed up and the cat wants to run away but scratches your leg on his way down. Kino apologizes immediately and grabs you a bandage. “Omg baby, I should have listened... I am so sorry”. You giggle. Seeing Kino so worried about you, makes you smile softly. Kino’s mom turns to you and says: He always is over excited when he likes someone, so take it as a good sign.

”Please let me make it up to you...”

Wooseok Wooseok heard a loud bonk coming from the living room. He was busy gaming with Yuto but told him to stop for a second. He can hear you whining. He stops to check up on you. He sees you in pain on one of the dinner table chairs. He asks what is wrong and all you can say is: “The stupid dining table…” Wooseok can help it, but the way you said it made him laugh. You get annoyed and tear up. When he notices how much you are hurt, he hurries over to you and look at your injury. Luckily it isn’t anything major, besides the fact that it hurts as hell. He can stop smiling at your clumsiness and tells you are adorable. You can’t help but chuckle. “Wait till you bang your foot against this table. I am not going to let you live that down”.

“Hey, at least now I know how cute you look when you are mad”.

A Rough Patch - Jung Wooseok

"Are you for real, Wooseok?" you mumble to yourself. You look at the note wooseok left for you: 

I am at the bar with some friends. Will be home late. See you tomorrow after work.

You drop the note back on the table. This is getting to familiar. You come home after work and he will be gone. He has to work late or he is at the bar with friends. He knows you have to get up early every morning and wake up before he does. You only see him when he comes home. You walk into the kitchen and sigh. A mess as usual. Some dirty shot glasses still on the kitchen counter. You open the fridge. At least he got the groceries you asked for. You pour yourself a glass of whine before you start on dinner. When you are half way on your second glass you decide it is better to just order something. Why cook when there is no one to really cook for. Besides, it is already 9 pm. You had to work over again and totally forgot the time. 

You place your order online and make your way to the bedroom. You stop by the table again. The note from Wooseok. It is different than usual. With the note in your hand you drop yourself on the bed. Wooseok usually rips a paper out whatever notebook is nearby, but you can't remember a notebook with paper that is decorated with pink and purple flowers. You shake of the feeling that creeps up on you. "No.. He wouldn't..." you think. on your face is a frown visible. As you lay the paper on your nightstand you see the two frame picture of Wooseok and you. You smile softly and your face turns a bit brighter. "No. He really won't". 

You remember the trip you two made. Wooseok was hired at the company he dreamed of and they offered him a great deal of money. After only one year of work there he got a promotion. You couldn't have been prouder. Wooseok surprised you with a trip to France. On the first picture you see Wooseok's bright smile as he hugs you tightly in front of the Eiffel tower. Your smile grows wider as you remember how he struggled to ask a French man to take a picture of you two. You remember whispering "I love you" before the first photo was taken. That is why his cheeks were more red than usual. You giggle to yourself. You look at the second picture. After the first picture was made he kissed you and said "I love you" back. The French man made a picture of that as well. You were so about the pictures you decided to frame them. 

A happy feeling gets overshadowed by the feeling of being alone. The feeling gets interrupted by the doorbell. "Shit! The delivery..." you say and ran to the door. You give the delivery guy a timid smile and he apologizes for being so late. You didn't even notice it was already 11pm. He offers the pizza for free and he apologizes again. Alone you eat the pizza in quiet. You are not even that hungry, but it keeps your mind of things and helps you to finally relax after work. You used to rant to Wooseok after work to relax and so did he. But since you both got a different work schedule you really don't see each other. Especially since Wooseok picked up the whole "going out all night" habit. You didn't even have the time to ask him how work has been the past month... You start to think you should just go to bed and talk to him in the morning.

"No. Fuck that" you mumble and reach for your phone. No messages from him. But two from your friend Yuto. Well, "your friend", it is Wooseok's best friend you got to know very well throughout the years you and Wooseok are together. 

Heey Y/N, sad you couldn't join us again...

I hope you really can make it next time.

The messages of Yuto confuses you, because Wooseok never asked you if you wanted to join. He used to though, but you never could because of your job. Your feeling is getting worse and decide to call Yuto. It takes a while before he finally picks up. In the background you hear loud music. "Yuto?" you say. "Heeyyyyy Y/N!!! Are you finally done with work?" he says. You don't have to see him to know that he had some drinks. "Yeah. Where are you guys?" you ask. "In The Circle as usual, duh? Where else silly? Are you going to get your boring ass over here or what?" Yuto blurts out. His words are bit hurtful, but you can't help but laugh at drunk Yuto. He is a total sweetheart so you can take a hit when it comes to Yuto. All of a sudden you hear a female voice scream over the music to Yuto. "Hey Yuto. Wooseok and I are going to do some more shots. Do you want to join us?". Your heart sinks. Why do you know that voice? You can't really place it, but it sounds very familiar. You are quiet for awhile until Yuto gets you back to reality. "Y/N? HELLO? I have to go. Are you coming or not?" he says. You stare right in front of you. "Just text me if you are coming okay? I got to go" Yuto says and hangs up. It is quiet for a while. Your own voice fills the room. "Ow I will be there alright". 

It is 12:30 am and you are standing in front of The Circle. It has been way too long since you went out on a weekday. You already called in sick for tomorrow, something you did when you were a student. It felt weird after so long. You walk inside the club and you are greeted by very loud music. You dressed up and texted Yuto you were on your way. A lot of men and women look your way. You have the feeling you are judged, but that feeling disappears as you see a familiar face. "Heey Y/N! You made it!" Yuto yells. He is standing next to an unknown girl and two boys you have met through Wooseok's parties before. Yuto hugs you tightly. "Heey Yuto. Yeah... Wooseok never asked me to come along though..." you say. Yuto looks confused. "But Wooseok said that you are working over again with that dude... what was his name again?" Yuto says like he is expecting you to know who he is talking about. "What dude?" you say. "That Hongseok dude from your work. Wooseok says you only talk about about" Yuto says. He takes a big sip from his vodka redbull and continues. "He was done with you talking about him and your work all the time so he decide he wanted to have some more fun" Yuto blurts out again. Drunken Yuto always says the things he isn't supposed to. You are confused. You did mention Hongseok sometimes, but only because he was very funny and had very lame jokes. Yuto offers you a drink and you immediately drink the whole thing. "Wow party animal Y/N is back folks" he says and laughs. "Where is Wooseok?" you ask with a serious face that makes Yuto quiet. "He is at the bar with..." . You don't even hear the name of who he is with and you walk to the bar. The drink contained a bit more alcohol than you thought. At home you had finished the whole wine bottle out of frustration so this really didn't fall well. You walk to the bar. On your way some guys want to dance with you, but you move them out of the way.

There he is. At the bar. You stop dead in your tracks as you see him laugh with a girl that you vaguely remember from something. You can't see her face, but you can see she has a beautiful figure and her hair is black and pink at the ends. She hugs Wooseok and he hugs her back. Mid hug Wooseok notices you. He doesn't let go of the hug yet. You can't move. The alcohol hits faster and you start to get dizzy. Wooseok says something to the girl and walks your way. "Hey what are you doing here?" he says. He keeps a distance. "What am I doing her?" you snap and talk so loud more people could hear it over the music. Wooseok looks irritated. "Did you come here to yell at me? Because I am not here for that" he says. You are getting angry at him, but your voice can't get over the music again. You walk way. You don't care if he follows you. You don't know why you even came here. What did you really hope for. Maybe that he was happy that you were here or that he would be happy to see your face. Maybe you wanted to see if he really would never cheat on you. You doubt everything. Yuto's drunken words make everything more confusing. Does Wooseok thing you are cheating on him? Is that why he is away all the time. Did he get so distant because he couldn't tell you that something was bothering him or is he really done with you. Why couldn't he just say that. 

You storm out of The Circle. The bodyguards look confused as you are already leaving after entering the club just a few minutes ago. You walk near a taxi stop in the hope you can get a ride. Behind you you hear fast footsteps. A warm hand grabs your arm roughly and spins you around. "What the hell are you doing, Y/N? You come here and just yell at me and leave? What the actual fuck!" Wooseok yells. You snap again. "You are always here. You are never home. I really had to hear from your best friend that you never invited me to these things because you think I am "working over with Hongseok from work" instead of asking me what is going on. You run away from confrontation so I thought I would do the same back" you yell. Wooseok is quiet. You aren't even done. "Hongseok is a friend from work. I never did something with him, because I had a great boyfriend that was everything I could wish for" you say. Wooseok just looks at you as you continue. "And you are just out all night avoiding to talk to me about stuff that bothers you. Drinking problems away with some random girl instead of talking to me". 

Wooseok interrupts you "That girls name is.." "I don't even want to fucking her name Wooseok. I never thought you would cheat on me and I can't believe you thought I would ever cheat on you". "That girl is my sister...". You stop talking and look at Wooseok. "Yes, I just bumped into her tonight. She was there with her boyfriend... I would never cheat, did you really think that I would do that?" he says slightly angry. You get annoyed. "I don't fucking know what to think anymore, Wooseok. For god sakes we haven't talked in months. I don't even know how you are doing and why you decide to avoid me" you yell. Wooseok turns strangely quiet. "Please tell me what I need to think of this situation, because I don't wanna fucking lose you, Wooseok" you say and start crying. You rest your head on Wooseok's chest and pulls on his shirt. You can't help but cry your eyes out. Wooseok doesn't say anything and doesn't do anything. After awhile he hugs you tightly and holds you very close him. 

"I lost my job..." Wooseok said. You look up. "What?" you say confused. Wooseok looks very embarrassed. "They hired someone else for my function. I am still aloud to work there, but under a different function with a lower pay raid" he continues softly. "Hearing you talk about your work made me feel so bad. You work so hard for us and I really don't know how to say that I lost my job... I was afraid you would go to Hongseok because he is just as a hard working person as you..." You start to laugh. Maybe it was the alcohol, the nerves, Wooseok's comment or just all together. You look at Wooseok. "You think I would leave you because you don't have a job? You really think I care about money?" you say. Wooseok looks down. "Wooseok..." you say and put your hands on his cheeks to lift up his head. "I love you, remember... just you... for who you are... I don't care about anything else... We are going to work through this, but we need to stand by each other and start talking about stuff that bothers us" you say. Wooseok smiles softly. You can see tears in his eyes too. Before he can say anything else you kiss him. "We will get through this".
