One of the biggest things that makes me see Leo as trans is absolutely the size of his carapace in comparison to his brothers’.

And I’m not talking about height! I’m specifically looking at his shell here, because when you compare him to the others, particularly Donnie who is nearly the same height as Leo, it’s very clear that Leo’s carapace is much longer in proportion to the rest of his body.

Like - standing side by side, even though Donnie is shorter his carapace ends noticeably higher up than Leo’s does. And I like this not only because it really helps push the idea that Leo could very likely be trans (or intersex!), but it’s also just a fun design difference between them.

(It also lends way to future scenarios of Donnie eventually getting taller than Leo, but sitting down still has Leo being the taller one haha.)

I'm just dumping my personal headcanons here regarding Pomni having an anxiety disorder because it has been on my mind a lot, bear in mind these are just my headcanons and not me trying to push any form of canon (also fair warning for discussion of mental health below the cut, nothing too severe):

Ever since arriving in the circus, her anxiety gets...bad. Although she adjusts over time to being there and starts befriending and feeling safer with the other members of the circus, without access to treatment like medication and therapy she starts struggling badly with regulating her emotions and calming herself down once she's fallen into an anxiety spiral. The crazy daily adventures coupled with the weight of her predicament, much as she tries to make peace with it and adjust to her new home, takes a draining mental toll on her to the point where some days she doesn't have the energy to even leave her room.

She discovers, unfortunately, that panic attacks in the Digital Circus are somehow even worse than in real life.

She is prone to becoming overstimulated--the bright, over-saturated colors and loud noises of the circus irritate her at best, completely overwhelm her to the point of making her want to crawl into a hole just to escape her own sensory overload at worst.

She dissociates a lot when her anxiety is consuming her and has trouble snapping out of it.

Basing off of canon, she is very touch-averse--she stiffens at unexpected touches, and unwanted physical contact makes her skin feel hot and itchy where she wishes she could just scratch the sensation off (and has tried to before, out of desperation). In contrast to this, though, sometimes she feels touch starved, which frustrates her when direct physical contact can make her feel so uncomfortable despite wanting it. She responds better to touch if she's asked first, and if she's the one to initiate she'll lean hungrily into it, because sometimes she actually does just need a hug.

I don't think I've seen anyone go into what physical symptoms Sonic experienced as a werehog. Have I posted abt that before I feel like I might've done that

Anyway here's a list of the symptoms of Sonic's werehog form, since I don't see many hcs abt that

Faster fur, quill, and nail growth

Increased body temperature

Increased appetite and intense cravings (not specifically for meat, but for foods he enjoys)

Sensitivity to light, sounds, and smells (easily overstimulated)

Chronic headaches

Joint and back pain due to changed bone structure

Toothaches, also due to changed bone structure

Muscle tears from transforming

Sore throat from vocal chords changing

Blood turned green (like Dark Gaia's blood)

Most of these don't fully go away when he turns back. During Unleashed, the pains lingered post-transformation and made it hard to get up in the morning a lot

Post-Unleashed, Sonic still deals with his fur, quills, and nails growing much faster than average. His bone structure in normal form is slightly different now too. His joints still hurt a bit because of it, especially his knees. Also his teeth are a lot sharper (not just fangs, all of his teeth)

I've always really enjoyed the idea of Goro having a gun, but it's always more-so for the purpose of a "just in case" scenario if Shido comes after him. It's not something he really carries around or breaks out. Probably sits hidden wedged between his mattress and the wall/bed frame, and probably isn't really taken anywhere. At the same time though, it's kind of difficult to imagine that he'd even have one in the first place. With his age, image, and Japanese society I doubt he'd easily acquire one. So as much as I love the idea of him having it for insurance purposes, I feel like there's a good possibility he just doesn't have one.
