hi...it's me and um i just want anything...anything at all for lobo, theres like no content for him💀
sorry this is awkward for me, this is the first time im requesting something while not anonymous, and i just feel weird😭😭😭😭
Whoooo sorry it took so long to get to this I have been incredibly depressed and unmedicated but hey. I got to it. Merry Shitscram <3
Content warning: alcohol, smoking, swearing, mosh pit violence, shitty exes, vauge mentions of abuse, vauge mentions of mental health issues
The metal scene on stations is not for anyone. Lobo, however, wasn't just anyone. Since he was semi-dating you, he thought you weren't just anyone too. That's why he'd brought you to this surprisingly nice bar, to watch one of his favorite bands play a show.
You weren't exactly big into metal. Sure, you listened to Metallica every once in a while, but Lobo was constantly touting the musical skill of bands with names like Aborted Second Coming and Spider Vomit. Sure, the technical skill these guys had was impressive, but it was intimidating too.
Still, you loved him, so you'd agreed, and now you were sitting at the bar with earplugs in, sipping on a beer. The cold was nice on your tongue contrasted with the heat of the packed bodies, and you considered ordering another once you were finished, but decided against it. Lobo would probably be in no state to drive at the end of the night, and he couldn't well sleep at the bar. One beer was probably good enough.
Lobo, meanwhile, was barely in your sight, since he had jumped into the middle of a mosh. From what you could see, he was having a hell of a time, bodyslamming people and getting his nose broken. His mouth and chin were covered in his blue blood, and it was getting on his shirt, too. He caught your eye then, and flashed you a grin and a thumbs up. You smiled and gave him a thumbs up back. It was good to see him have fun.
After a few more minutes, he managed to extract himself from the mass of sweaty, girating bodies to make his way over to you.
"Babe, hey! How's th' beer?"
"It's good, Bo, you should probably- ah- here let me just get that."
You grabbed a couple of napkins and gently wiped at his bloodied face, much to his disappointment.
"Babe, baby, c- noooo, c'mon, lemme alone, 's fine! I'll clean it off later!"
"Lobo, angel, sugar, if you bleed too much on their floors the owner is gonna kick us out."
He sighed, finally ending his struggle and letting you wipe his face off. Once you'd finished, you kissed his nose, which made him much less sulky. He kissed you back, and the next thing you knew you were making out.
At this point, the previous band had moved on and the band that Lobo had come to see had finished setup. The moment the frontman announced "We are Bloodfuck!" Lobo pulled back excitedly.
"Sorry, hon, they're on, I gotta go!"
"Ok, ok, have fun!"
"Yer so cool I love ya."
Once he left, you ordered some water and went back to chilling. If you were being honest, the guitar in this band was pretty cool, very technical. You could see why he liked it, since Lobo was an avid lover of technical guitar skill.
And then you saw him.
You didn't notice him at first, since his hair was blonde now, not blue, but there he was. Your ex. The one who'd... god you could barely remember. You'd dated him in a really bad patch of your life, and he'd taken advantage of that to totally isolate you.
Then came that feeling. Rage? Hurt? Nausea? The feeling that came when you thought of him. So you took your water and sped to the bathroom.
Once you spent afew minutes of deep breathing and pacing around, you started to feel better, and went to go back to the bar, but were stopped by the door opening.
"There y' are..."
Lobo stepped in, leaning back on the door to give you both some privacy. He looked... worried. You were still getting used to that. He never seemed to get worried over anything else, except for maybe dolphins. And now you.
"Ya dissapeared, sugar, don't do that."
"Sorry, sorry, I just saw... just had some bad memories stirred up. I'm better now."
"Meanin'?"
"... I saw my ex. You know, the one I told you about."
"Oh! Jackass!"
"Yeah, Jackass."
"D'you... need anythin'? A hug, a murder, break his kneecaps a lil?"
"A hug would be nice. Don't do the other two things please."
"Awwwww, y' never lemme have any fun."
He did oblige though, pulling you into his arms. He was damp with sweat and smelled like salt and spilled beer and BO, but it was comforting.
"Y'wanna leave? Just so ya don't hafta see him."
"Babe, no, that band you like isn't done playing."
"And? I got th' CD and th' hoodie n junk. I can jus' catch em next time."
You pulled back and looked at him. He LOVED going to live shows. He got excited whenever he heard one was coming in. And he was going to leave in the middle of a set for you?
... That felt... nice. Like he cared about you. You weren't sure about exactly how he felt about you, but him offering that? It was nice.
"Lobo, I promise. We can stay."
He smiled at you, and then you both left the shitty bar bathroom. He stayed with you at the bar for a good while, but when the band announced their final encore, he made his way back to the pit.
And so did your ex.
Lobo noticed at the same time you did, and immediately shot you a look. You saw the question in that look, and nodded a yes as an answer. He smiled, then jumped on the stage, looking back to time his leap juuuuuust right...
Thud.
His drop coincided with the last note of the song, and he quickly got up and rushed over to you.
"C'mon c'mon we gotta go now 'fore the cops get here."
You took his hand, tossed the bartender a tip, and then sprinted to the door.
You knew he cared now.

Martian SuccessorNadesico_Aestivalis_doodle_01_oct21
Here is a little doodle for an ol' mostly forgotten gem of a mech show I watched back in the 90's, the main Mech from the anime Martian Successor Nadesico called an "Aestivalis". This was a show I can remember watching soon after seeing Neon Genesis Evangelion when it first came over to the west and I was really taken in by that shows premise and wanted to immediately follow up with another that seemed like it, this show crossed my path thanks to manga entertainments efforts to localize as much as they could on vhs. I thought it would be something similar and its not really at all, I was expecting a straight ahead mech-fighting show and it really isn't, its more of a comedy/drama/action mix that parodies certain tropes of the genre, a genre I was completely unfamiliar with at the time. It feels like it features alot of cliches and tropes of the mech genre as well as harem anime as the pilot to the mech (who is also the ships cook) is surrounded by potential female suitors, which kind of flew over my head at the time. The main characters are also otaku's in their own right, they even watch a parody show within the show that looks similar to things like mazinkaiser called gekigengar 3, and it feels like it parodies early Gundam when they go into space on the titular Nadesico, and maybe abit of Fortress Dimension Macross / Robotech. There's even afew plot twists as they go up against these mechanical bug aliens called the Jovians. The opening episode had probably the most impressive animation of the lot and then the show settled into its comedy mixed with drama groove for the remainder which felt like a very odd choice to me at the time and kind of disappointing if im honest (I later became aware of budgetary constraints and the practice of front loading your animation budget at the beginning to hook new potential viewers was a common practice at the time). I was expecting a fight every other episode and it turns out its not that kind of show at all. I did complete it once and I barely remember much of it, I did remember one of the twists was something like the alien menace was conjured into existence by the main characters just cos they wanna fight in big robots against aliens cos that's what they saw happening in the shows of their youth and so here they are, cant remember exactly but it was something like that. I did find it very unusual still in the west to see the main robot mech of the show sporting Hot pink as its primary colour, even for a parody show its played completely straight and no one makes a big deal of it! I can imagine its a case of the toys were designed first and that dictated the design used in the show (?!!?) cant say for sure if that's the case but that's definitely the case for alot of toy driven show. So yeah that added to the "other-worldliness" of it all. The show was the standard 26 episodes and finishes up with a movie and that was it for the MSN universe as far as i am aware, it came out in the wave that started with Evangelion and things like Rahzephon and Gundam Wing and things like that and there it has remained, part of an emergent scene left behind. So yeah this was fun to do, and to draw the Aestivalis' extendo-arm punch which the main characters were like "Hey, its just like that cartoon I remember with the Rocket Fists that come out and come back! Cool!" I can appreciate it more now, when at the time I would have been content with a straight ahead dramatic action show in the vein of Gundam and the like but it tries to aim in abit of an unusual direction. but anyway hope you like! ^_^

WWE SummerSlam 2019 - Preview & Predictions
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Brock Lesnar (c) vs Seth Rollins – Universal Championship Match
Again, yeah. If its not Lesnar/Reigns then its this and it will continue to be this as they thinks it’s the best way to put Rollins over but don’t realise its their actual booking that’s the main problem.
Seth gives Brock the opportunity to have a really fun match with a guy that can go who will sell great for him too, but, the storyline we’ve been given here is that Rollins took a hell of a beating the other week and isn’t 100% going into the match so he’s going to be badly selling for a lot of this match then ignoring the injury to hit all his moves.
It will still be an ok match but could be more, as I imagine this to be more of a storyline match rather than a full on normal match if you get what I mean. In terms of the winner I was pretty set on Lesnar keeping the title but with Seth giving that weirdly poor promo on Raw had him pretty much guarantee the win, so who knows. My ultimate dream here is Rollins being too injured to fight and Riddle debuts to brawl with Lesnar after being backstage for Watch Along, its Riddle’s hope to retire Lesnar at some point and I need that to happen as it will be such a hard hitting bout with tons of technical moves along the way - ROLLINS
Tumblr media
Becky Lynch (c) vs Natalya – Raw Women’s Championship Submission Match
With the Toronto crowd I expect to see an Austin level reaction in Canada from them towards Becky which she will love, it’s a shame she’s facing Nattie here as I feel she isn’t at the tip top level anymore but can still go and should be fine here.
I see the finish to the match being Becky working over the arm of Nattie but Nattie gaining the advantage, she goes for the sharpshooter but cant apply it properly as her arm hurts and as she is pausing Becky reverses it into a dis-armer for the submission victory - LYNCH
Tumblr media
Kofi Kingston (c) vs Randy Orton – WWE Championship Match
A match next where the title change should have happened what 11 years ago? Now though this match really doesn’t do much for me at all. Orton majorly feels in cruise control the past few years and truthfully would do wonders leaving the company for alittle while for something new and fresh if he still has the desire. But remember, he hasn’t been around properly for weeks for this, a title feud, as he’s been on holiday so……
Still not feeling the Kofi title run sadly, and its gone from me thinking they may change the belt quickly to then have him chase it back to gain some momentum back to him being someone’s pet project backstage and they will keep on trying to make him seem/feel a top guy until the fans really get bored of it – KINGSTON
Tumblr media
Bayley (c) vs Ember Moon – Smackdown Women’s Championship Match
Another women’s match with no real excitement behind it, which sucks as Ember getting her first big singles match on the main roster should be a lot more important. But the way she’s been handled since debuting has made it so hard for fans to take her serious as a deadly threat, she should be handled the same as an Undertaker or Aleister Black in making her seem mysterious and special, not having her backstage joking with others, maybe when she’s accepted as one of the main women in the company but definitely not before that.
Honestly outside of like the top 5 women on the main roster a lot of the others haven’t been made to feel special at all, then when they get an opportunity the crowd isn’t fully with them and management lose faith in the woman when really it’s the overall presentation of the character that’s sorely missing. And the reason I say this is because Bayley’s title reign has mostly been against women of this level to keep her away from the Charlotte feud to run that later in the year, so its really harming Bayley as well as the others looking to get their chance. I know most people were in favour of the women getting their own tag team belts but honestly when there isn’t much depth in the singles division this NEEDS to be the focus, just having Asuka and Kairi Sane as singles competitors booked as a threat would make the whole scene feel better but instead they are a bit of a joke team around to give Paige something to do. Lets get Asuka/Moon running again on Smackdown and really show some competition in going for Bayley and her belt to make her feel more important too – BAYLEY
Tumblr media
Kevin Owens vs Shane McMahon
If Owens loses he will be forced to quit……..I hate these match stipulations I really do, I fully imagine they may go the route earlier in the show of having pressure put on Shane to put his role on the line too. Otherwise whats to stop someone like Elias coming in and punching Shane for Shane to then win instantly by DQ and have Owens fired? That’s why these match stips are awful lol
The talk of Shane going for the title have thankfully died down as of late so hopefully someone important has reconsidered that idea, don’t be surprised if it returns though……
Owens should be doing something a lot better than this, no offense to Shane but his deal was a fairly big one and they feel the need to use him a lot to make the most out of their money - OWENS
Tumblr media
Trish Stratus vs Charlotte
Now this could be a very interesting match, the last it seems of Trish’s career and also the way they came up with to not have Charlotte miss out on the show and payoff. Not that im cycnical here or anything but this feels like something Charlotte asked for knowing she wasn’t in the title picture but knowing this match would feel a lot more important than the actual title matches on this show…..
Hopefully there wasn’t anything to it on Raw with Trish being in the tag match and never tagging in, felt alittle suspicious at the time but also could just be their way of putting it off till the actual show (no idea why they felt the need to have in the tag match though?).
I imagine the finish here being really hot with the Canadian crowd but with Charlotte taking the victory then having Trish either shake her hand or raise her hand, to point out who the real star of the women’s division is in managements eyes….. - CHARLOTTE
Tumblr media
Goldberg vs Dolph Ziggler
The booking of this has been weird and full of strange decisions, but ultimately to me this is a favour to Goldberg after his awful match with Undertaker the company has quickly given both guys the chance to get back out there and show that isn’t the condition they currently are in and can do a lot better still. Taker teamed with Reigns to pick his spots and Bill here fights Ziggler to steamroll through and hit all of his spots without being knocked funny beforehand.
Expect Ziggler to go straight back to the Miz feud on Raw and never mention Goldberg again after this weeks tv, honestly, I fully expect this to have been forgotten VERY SOON - GOLDBERG
Tumblr media
AJ Styles (c) vs Ricochet
At last we reach what should be the match of the show, interference aside, both guys will be looking to make a big impact to be seen as the best and also help get Ricochet over huge. Ricochet seems to be one the projects that Heyman is taking on in his new role on Raw, getting big wins and good angles as well as being on screen around the likes of Lesnar so that it doesn’t feel weird when he finally earns the chance to step in there for a title match down the road.
Its an interesting time for AJ and the OC, Gallows and Anderson are finally getting the tv time and attention they deserve after signing new deals but Styles needs to be around the world title picture and feels alittle stagnant around the secondary title scene. Hopefully they continue to get good spots and move up the card, ideally for me we see Balor join them after his break and come back as a heel to see a four man group just destroy people on both shows to really get the club noticed big time. Then after a year you can go the route of Styles and Balor arguing over the leader role and who sides with whom which should be great – RICOCHET
Tumblr media
Finn Balor vs ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt
So, no demon means no win for Balor, The Fiend makes his debut and has to win simple right?
From what we hear Finn is taking some time out after the show so a win really is vital tonight, Wyatt taking the win is vital and also lets them set up a rematch down the road with Balor back as the demon - FIEND
Tumblr media
Drew Gulak (c) vs Oney Lorcan – Cruiserweight Championship Match
And finally, the cruiserweight title match, featuring Oney after winning a six pack challenge match on 205 Live. Should be a fun, fast paced match with Lorcan looking to push the pacing while Drew tries his best to slow it down to his pace and submission style. Would be fun for Lorcan to get the title but doesn’t feel time yet as he still is more of a tag guy on NXT than a singles guy on 205 Live for me – GULAK
Just added to the pre show:
Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross vs The IIconics
Apollo Crews vs Buddy Murphy
Both matches should be fun, l love Billie :), and that second match should be real fast paced and great to get both guys a showcase of what they can do.
Should be a good show and hopefully not too many more matches/angles get added as these PPV’s really are too long lately, to the point that a number of matches in the middle of shows are facing quiet crowds who are dead. It used to be that match before the main event was the tough spot to be in as everyone was there to see what happens when your match ends, but now its exhaustion from 5 hour shows upto 7 hours sometimes with pre-shows.
The main thing I expect is something added for Reigns, there are so many other guys in this company that dont have a match its dreadful when you think about it
Im not sure we will see many surprise tonight, both from the matches or from debuts or run-ins, as this feels like it may close out afew feuds with the build to Survivor Series starting over this weeks tv. Hopefully im wrong as everyone loves a good surprise or two on a big show to get everyone talking and speculating.
Enjoy the show
Bye for now

NJPW BOSJ Block A Breakdown
Tumblr media
In the first of our two part breakdown of the upcoming Best Of The Super Juniors presented by NJPW we will be looking in focus on Block A, dissecting the front runners, the dark horses as well the matches to keep an eye out for over the course of the tournament. So hopefully if this is your first or thirtieth tournament you’ll leave knowing everything you need to know to be ready to take in the whole experience.
Tumblr media
So lets dive into Block A and the first of the 10 men involved, at first glance it seems a pretty even group in terms of threats as I see it being nearly equal of guys that could go deep in the tournament mixed with guys who wont but will provide some fun match-ups along the way.
I feel we can safely rule out the crowning of Taka as the new BOSJ winner, as well as Tiger Mask and Kanemaru. The former two are good established names in the company and across parts of the world to help bring eyes in but are both closer to their in-ring retirement than peak........or moving the mask on in Tiger Mask’s situation. While Kanemaru is much more of a threat in the tag scene and the tag league than here, but brings the stable war feuds to give some heat to his matches.
The next two names that I have closer to that front group than the next are Gresham and Titan. Firstly with Jonathan Gresham we have someone newish to NJPW having worked in joint shows with them and ROH or on NJPW’s US tour, but not primarily on Japanese soil and infront of the Japanese fans, I see this being the tournament for him to really make a name for his-self infront of them with great matches but sadly not the wins to accompany them. And that’s not a problem, remember this is NJPW and their long term booking is usually very sound so this could be the beginning of a longer sustained run for him in the Juniors division. Next up is Titan, now he has worked for NJPW plenty before but isnt full time with them but with CMLL their partner company, I expect Titan to be similar to Gresham but with afew more victories under his belt.
Just slightly ahead of them in my thoughts is Marty Scurll, poor Marty is finding his-self in a slightly awkward position following his friends all leaving to start up AEW (All Elite Wrestling), the NJPW management seem certain he will be leaving to join them when his contract runs out so wont give him a solid push if he’ll be leaving soon enough. I expect him to go to AEW too but wouldn't be surprised to see him in NXT with his partner already there. I dont think they want to bury him completely until he decides his next move but could see him take some comedy losses along the way here, just hopefully he is able to get some competitive matches too to stay a threat in peoples eyes.
The final four names are where I see the winner coming from, those names being Sho, Dragon Lee, Taiji Ishimori and Shingo Takagi. Ishimori is going strong to win the title back, Dragon Lee is doing well as champion and will be going harder to impress. Then we get to Sho and Shingo, they have developed a really good feud together which is interesting as its taking over their tag team feud. The main thing with it for me is that its pushed Sho ahead of Yoh in terms of their progression which I didnt expect, but Shingo has really dragged him along quickly and its been fun to watch on the under cards which sometimes can alittle boring but their mini feud has been a highlight.
I dont see Lee winning and they usually use their champions in tournaments to take the odd loss to setup future challengers on the next few shows, which will work for him as champion and give him the big challenge of the eventual winner coming for his title down the road. I could see Ishimori taking the block and the overall win but im not 100% sold that they want him back straight away as a challenger for the belt, I feel with them debuting someone new in the Bullet Club they possibly may want them in the spot before another shot for Taiji.
Which leads me to Sho and Shingo, and I think the biggest story going in is that Shingo has yet to be pinned since joining NJPW. For me the ideal finish would be to have them both go undefeated through the block, and have Sho be the one to finally defeat him and make his way to the final. Giving Sho such a huge boost for the final and beyond as well as a longer singles feud with Shingo leading to a title match, but what would that do to their tag team as I dont think they are splitting or taking a break anytime soon. But at the same time Shingo is one of my favourite wrestlers and has been since I drilled deep into Dragon Gate over 10 years ago, I could watch the guy all day long and that un-pinned streak will be hard for them to let go off. They should also be thinking of having him dominate the block and the final leading to a title shot and subsequent victory all without taking a pinfall, id go as far as having him dominate completely until he decides to move to the heavyweight scene and vacant his title, you always have to think of moves/ideas that are rarely seen that prepare someone for the much bigger future plans.
I feel I have to go for Shingo, but would be just as happy for Sho to get the big push if he’s chosen.
In terms of matches, any mixture of those main four guys is a must watch, Dragon Lee vs Titan is usually a fast paced great match. Gresham’s technical style will mesh really well with Shingo and Ishimori’s too and should see him do great with the company.
Hopefully this gives everyone a good outline of the block with some of the history and feuds we’ll encounter on the way through the tournament.
Next up will be Block B, or as they should have called it Block SPEED!!!
Bye for now

WWE Wrestlemania 35 - Preview & Predictions
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Becky Lynch vs Ronda Rousey (c) vs Charlotte Flair (c) - Winner Takes All
And here we go...... the women have finally produced a feud and wrestlers that have gotten theirselves into the main event of the biggest show of the year. The addition of Ronda to the company has been MASSIVE, both to the product in terms of matches as well as to the financial side of things with her being a big factor in the WWE’s new tv deals. And as well as Ronda we have Becky, who has really clicked with fans over the past few months, with the image of her with a busted face on Raw being the image fans now see the second they think of her which was vital in her progression.
This then leads us to the third wheel of the match in Charlotte, im not sure if that’s a knock on her or not, oh well its the truth. There was a big backlash around her inclusion here as many feel it wasn't required in the slightest, but really taking a step back and thinking about it this added an extra factor of heat to the feud which was kinda needed as they've messed up so often during the build to this bout. Whoever the winner beats to win then sets up another big match with the person not involved as they weren't beaten, then you can also have the loser climbing their way back to another bout giving it another layer of development to it all. Another of the problems in adding Charlotte was that very recently it seems Vince found out that Charlotte hadn't won a tv match this year, this was the reason for her randomly taking on Asuka and beating her for the title to show there was a big reason to add her in the main event as more people were questioning how bad that stat looked. And at the same time doing that has destroyed the plans for the Smackdown women's championship and Asuka’s big pay day.
Remember, they arent just building to this match, they are building for the future. And the above will see them easily through to the Survivor Series with a heavily heated title feud on one or both shows depending on how they handle the winner having two titles......
Which then leads to their decision, do they continue to have two women’s champions OR have one champion that travels to both shows to align things with the women’s tag titles?
I see Becky winning beating Charlotte to take both belts, it lets Ronda have some time off setting up a big money match on her return while Becky leads Raw in her place - LYNCH
Tumblr media
The New Daniel Bryan (c) vs Kofi Kingston - WWE Championship Match
Another match where the build has been all over the shop, but in this case injuries have changed and dictated the directional moves in which wrestler would be making the step up to challenge Bryan for the belt. The last change that stuck was moving Kevin Owens out of the match and adding Kofi after his reaction in the Elimination Chamber, after he was added to that match after Ali was injured and lost his spot there too, busy to keep up isnt it...
This really should be an easy to predict outcome with Kofi finally getting his big shot and winning the title for a first time, the actual question should be how long will he hold the belt for? Once the Wrestlemania buzz dies down and management begin to look critically at his ratings and sales how long will they persevere with his reign?
I just hope they dont split The New Day up during his run, we need them to keep the group together and show friendship in a solid way, instead of the usual ways of them turning on him with poor reasoning. If they want to challenge him for the belt have them ask for it and say they are willing to prove theirselves first, then challenge him as friends as whoever wins it doesn't break the connection as they all support each other.
Daniel Bryan will not lose much in dropping the title, he’ll quickly move into another fun feud with whoever he wants and asks for, this is exactly the method to Bryan’s current run and its great......get Pete Dunne ready!!! - KINGSTON
Tumblr media
Brock Lesnar (c) vs Seth Rollins - WWE Universal Championship Match
Too many matches on this show, so ill be quick with the ones that SHOULD have an easy to predict outcome.
This is the perfect example, Seth goes over strong, Brock takes some time away and finally gets a date for his return to the UFC and gets in fighting shape. Rollins then returns to Raw as champion and moves into a feud with Drew McIntyre who deserves it and will have some solid bouts, the only problem there is Drew is up against Roman and I doubt he wins at Mania over him - ROLLINS
Tumblr media
Triple H vs Batista - No Holds Barred Match
Also if HHH loses he has to retire and cant wrestle again which should ring bells for the outcome, I love that Big Dave is returning for one last match and if you know him you’ll know he isnt here to have his hand raised.
Triple H wins, hopefully quickly after seeing his last few bouts, then I see them both hugging straight after or even on Raw just making a mockery out of this fake build up to the feud - TRIPLE H
Tumblr media
Shane McMahon vs The Miz - Falls Count Anywhere Match
Toilet break time.
I really have no interest in this in the slightest, even as a team I didnt care, seeing Shane wrestle as a heel doesn't appeal and Miz acting as a bad ass baby-face cant get me to act interested.
I love Shane as a heel boss but it doesn't carry over to wrestling, as a face his whole act is building to a big spot/jump but that really is counterproductive for a heel, and if they do so then dont be surprised to have him get cheered over Miz - MIZ
Tumblr media
Roman Reigns vs Drew McIntyre
I really want Drew to win here as he’s so ready for the big push but the whole story to Roman’s return cant possibly see them plan for anything other than a Reigns victory. I can only imagine them doing a multi person match on Raw for the next number one contender as a way to have Drew get there without pinning Roman - REIGNS
Tumblr media
Tamina/Nia Jax vs Bayley/Sasha Banks (c) vs The IIconics vs Beth Phoenix/Nattie - WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Fatal 4 Way Match
All I can say here is that the Sky Pirates NEEDED to be in this match for my interest.
Lets get rid of Nia and Tamina quickly in a heap of rubble at ringside then let the others work, there’s no doubt in my mind that the champs are keeping their belts. They then will defend on all shows including NXT, hopefully, but lets keep the titles on teams that can work well and not with the gimmicky teams please - BAYLEY/BANKS
Tumblr media
AJ Styles vs Randy Orton
This should be a very solid bout but at the same time is really the beginning of the feud so may not get the most time and could have a cheap finish to let this continue. But saying that these two could be guys high up on the list of people that potentially could get moved around in the draft, especially Styles after his long run with the title on Smackdown - STYLES
Tumblr media
Samoa Joe (c) vs Rey Mysterio - WWE US Title Match
Another match that has changed multiple times or morphed into other planned feuds, this particular match blatantly wasn't planned at the time of the last PPV as they had Joe choke out Rey which doesn't make any sense to have him now challenge here.
For me Joe needs a long run with the title mowing through guys and gaining back the killer image he should have, let him do this for months with the whole purpose of it being to ultimately get him ready to be moved back to the main event scene as a legit challenger and the champion.
Rey has looked great since coming back and should really have been having a bout against Andrade tonight with the mask vs hair stipulation added to it but oh well, not sure if Dominic will be ringside and involved but I feel he may and may be the reason for Joe retaining, be that by him being a distraction for his Dad or even turning on his Dad, who knows.
What I also will say is that Rey actually does have a slight injury which he seems to be fine with, but, I wouldn't put it past them to alter this and add others to the match AGAIN just to get people on the show and save Rey’s ankle if its still in pain - JOE
Tumblr media
Bobby Lashley (c) vs Finn Balor - WWE Intercontinental Championship Match

Kurt Angle vs The Baron - Angle’s Farewell Match
Man, what a let down this is if it actually is the planned match, and not only that but Angle is broken down now sadly to the point where they shouldn't be putting him in the ring, who knows how he passes their tests to see if he is fit enough to be in there.
The big story is will someone take out The Baron when he makes his way to the ring for a HUGE pop and take his place against Kurt, the popular choice with people is seemingly John Cena. Now, im not sure anyone can drag Angle to a great match anymore and bringing in someone who isnt a full timer and hasn't been wrestling in awhile is a bad choice for me, id rather he be involved in the Elias angle where he can come in and nail an F5 for the easy pop.
Im actually lost for who should take the role and it work and more importantly someone who isnt already in a match on the card. If I could take it back afew months I would have never had the Drew McIntyre match in November where he destroyed Kurt with his own move, if they built Drew as a force upto this point then had a super competitive match with Angle ending in the same way as November I think you could take tons from it. Angle doesn't need to go out on top, he will be left in the ring after the match for the applause and potentially taking off of his boots to leave in the ring. But it will also do wonders for someone to beat him, hell if its Drew it would have been easy to move him straight to the title scene rather than a lose to Roman.
If it actually stays as The Baron id love for it to be a double retirement match, or an Angle win - ANGLE

Ricochet/Aleister Black vs The Uso’s (c) vs The Bar vs Rusev/Shinsuke Nakamura - WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship Fatal 4 Way Match
Id expect the Usos to retain, not sure the others deserve the titles just yet, maybe Ricochet and Black but I see them going singles once the Mania buzz dies down - USOS

Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal
The main name included here is Braun Strowman and the guys from SNL, I cant see past Braun and there’s no real reason for it unless there’s a new guy debuting or a big angle that’s going longer with the SNL guys being able to get Braun eliminated - BRAUN
Tumblr media
Women’s Battle Royal
I dont think all the names have been announced here and it will be decided just before the show on who’s around, yes I believe that fully. The front-runners should be Asuka, Mandy Rose and Lacey Evans, Asuka deserves it for how she’s been treated with the title and Lacey’s big push should be starting from here. Ill go with Lacey to eliminate Asuka to win and kick start her first bi feud on the main roster - EVANS
Buddy Murphy (c) vs Tony Nese - WWE Cruiserweight Championship Match
Again I say the same thing, not the time for Murphy to drop the title and not the opponent for it either, infact im alittle surprise Nese got the spot. He’s a good wrestler but I dont think much of his character work ‘look at my abs!!’ and that’s basically it? - MURPHY
The Revival (c) vs Zack Ryder/ Curt Hawkins - WWE Raw Tag Team Championship Match
There really is ZERO need for this match, ZERO. The challengers haven't been on tv, haven't won matches and have ZERO credibility.........but what about Hawkins losing streak......that’s literally the ONLY reason they have gotten this spot - REVIVAL
I hope everyone enjoys the show, please try and watch it in parts if you can avoid spoilers as this is WAAAAAAYYYYYYY too long a show AGAIN
Bye for now

WWE Money In The Bank 2018 - Preview & Predictions
Tumblr media Tumblr media
AJ Styles (c) vs Shinsuke Nakamura: WWE Championship Match - Last Man Standing
I love both guys but the WWE need to be careful at how much they are having these two face off without a title change occurring, some of these current younger fans may start to get bored of them together very soon I sadly think.
Some good build here to the Last Man Standing (LMS) stipulation especially from Nakamura, who looks to be having soooo much more fun currently than he has for the past few years in the company. Styles hasn't really had the material to really push this match to the same level though sadly, there was ZERO point to having Jerry Lawler do his interview this past week, apart from the fact it was near his home town but didnt really help provide over the top fan reactions.
In truth it really feels like AJ needs a new opponent as he feels alittle tired in this feud, and really that’s down to how its been handled since the turn at Wrestlemania and not down to Styles showing a lack of intent. Nakamura needs the win and the title, this week they quietly built up a quick feud with Jeff Hardy if he does win the title tonight which should be interesting and new.
In terms of the finish I dont see anyone interfering and it should be fairly clean at the end, with the LMS stipulation I feel it coming down to either Styles going for something big and costing his-self the match or Nakamura being clever to get the win. Infact, ill go with a combination of both to see the title change - NAKAMURA

Samoa Joe vs Kevin Owens vs Bobby Roode vs Braun Strowman vs The Miz vs Rusev vs Finn Balor vs One Member Of The New Day: Men’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match
The first of the MITB matches and we’ll be looking at breaking down each of the competitors and analysing their chances of winning as well as where the briefcase could take them.
Samoa Joe, one of the top guys in the match who has been on a roll lately in the ring and seems very ready to make the move higher up the card. Him winning would be a popular decision with the fans and would provide an interesting situation as the holder of the MITB briefcase, usually the winner develops into an opportunist (Rollins,Carmella, etc) just waiting for the right opportunity to run down and cash in. But here Joe would bring someone who wont wait infact he’ll be someone that will make the current champion be worried about their arrival instead of being surprised by it. Whoever the champion is on Smackdown the addition of Joe into the title feud will be greatly welcomed.
Kevin Owens, another guy that just feels ready for something bigger than what they are currently serving him, the same as Joe here in a way where Owens will become a bigger threat if he takes the win here, mainly as the stipulation works best for heels and not always faces but more on that later. A win here for Kevin will make for some fun tv too with him and Zayn, as I can see Sami getting extremely excited for his best friend and maybe even going off on wild plans for Owens to cash in with Kevin standing there trying to take it all in. Not sure he takes it though sadly, I also dont think the company are ultra interested in a quick Lesnar match with Owens anytime soon.
Bobby Roode, for me the guy with the lowest chance of winning the match, yes even below the New Day member. I dont see him winning in the slightest, even if Vince changes his mind today for a surprise. He hasn't lit the world on fire since being promoted to the main shows and truthfully without his entrance theme he wouldn't be near a push on Raw.
Braun Strowman, the favourite for most people to take the case down and lead the charge to taking the belt from Brock Lesnar. He’s been made out to be the biggest threat with his push, even going as far as having Owens admit on Raw that he couldn't beat Braun alone and neither could Finn or Bobby. The big momentum they've given him over the past few weeks feels like a red herring for me, I see him being the carnage maker for this bout but ultimately being eliminated by the others in a big spot. He will survive a defeat here no problem so that’s not a worry but I do feel he’s the best option to go after Brock next.......but does he really need the briefcase to be the next contender????
The Miz, one of my own personal favourites for the win tonight, and its not down to his current form or character its purely down to the potential cash in idea for him to take the world title on Smackdown, and remember, they have made it clear that the winner can ONLY cash in on their brands champion so dont worry at the idea of Miz having to beat Brock Lesnar. The idea is that they continue building Daniel Bryan up to the point he gains a title match at SummerSlam, where he successfully wins the belt and the crowd goes wild in celebration.....only to have Miz appear and cash in the case to win the title from his hated enemy. Would be a brilliant idea to gain the strongest crowd reaction as well as catapult Miz back to the title picture in the biggest way possible.
Rusev, someone id love to see receive the big push towards the world title as he has deserved it for months, from his crowd reactions to him just seemingly waiting there patiently with a mega hot face turn just bubbling to happen. The problem is that I only see him winning if they decide to go with him AND Lana winning their respective matches for a husband and wife MITB winners pair, and I really dont need Lana being put in that position, more on that later.
Finn Balor, for me Finn is perfectly ready to step back into the Universal title scene and take the belt and get a good reign to see if he can swim with the big fish, but it still doesn't feel like Vince see’s him in that position, mainly for me its down to him getting injured when put into that slot before as its a issue that Vince dislikes and makes him think he cant trust investing in someone if they may break down again. Which really could happen to anyone in the sport at anytime doing any spot, hopefully they decide to go with Finn and he gets the chance to shine. The other issue to look at is one of having a face be the one to cash in as its usually suited best to a heel, for it to work here it needs to be the one to step up and announce his cash in beforehand to the champion. That way he looks the confident good guy with the fans behind him in finally taking the belt away from the absent champion in Brock Lesnar.
The New Day, one member of the team will be in the match and will most likely be announced just before the match begins. For me, and mostly everyone else its between Kofi and Big E as to who (who) enters the match, for the team its Kofi they want but for me this is the opportunity that Big E needs to separate his-self from the pack and push on big time. The option of E winning also presents him and the team some great opportunity for using their backstage promo abilities to help build up their boy, have them spend afew months focusing on different aspects that E can improve on leading to funny segments of E ‘catch the chicken Rock!’ or even trying to have be more aggressive and serious to take to matches. Then you can progress things to the point where he’s ready for it but it makes him realise he’s outgrown the other two in doing so, you then have him make the ultimate decision in choosing between his best friends or the title with the fans super behind him all the way, he chooses the big dream and his team mates are happy to see him on his way coming off of it looking and feeling to viewers as a bigger name/threat/challenger which is vital.
After looking through them all most of them offer really viable opportunities to have them win and progress to the title scene, providing some good tv along the way as well which is a vital tool in making yourself a hotter commodity.
If I had to limit it to three potential winners it would be Miz, Braun and.....Big E, yeah you didnt think I would did you, but he really does offer them alot on different fronts that would sound like a dream to the people that have to put together weeks of television as he brings ready made ideas most weeks on how to develop his-self. But, out of those three ill ultimately go with Miz, as that cash in idea is golden and cant be beaten. Braun is a really strong option but truly he doesn't need the briefcase to interrupt a Lesnar promo and challenge him to a title match does he? - MIZ

Lana vs Natalya vs Alexa Bliss vs Charlotte vs Ember Moon vs Becky Lynch vs Naomi vs Sasha Banks: Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match
The second of our MITB matches with the winner currently being able to to go after Nia Jax or Carmella depending on their brand, lets break them down:
Lana, no, just no. They dont trust her in long singles matches, as evident in her qualifying match with Billie Kay, so instead here they decide to put her in a MITB match?!?! Good luck on anyone having to bump off of a ladder and expect her to be the person to break the fall. Her winning would ONLY be down to a novelty idea of her and Rusev holding the briefcase together, she’s not good enough to take this sadly.
Natalya, the intriguing option for victory, having built up her friendship with Rousey it provides the perfect situation for her to turn on her friend and cash in TONIGHT during the Jax/Rousey match to steal the win from her friend. That would explain the fact that the wrapping on her ‘injured’ knee was on the wrong knee on Raw, with it being a lie leading others to doubt her chances only for her to take the advantage from it. Now only if she was any good at applying her own finisher....
Alexa Bliss, she deserves to be around the title scene but it feels like she’s being rested currently after her reign earlier in the year, plus they seem to be trying to save their heels from facing and losing quickly to Rousey so that they dont run out of ideas for her.
Charlotte, whatever happens please dont call her ‘THE QUEEN’ 40 million times during the match again, please?
Ember Moon, a fun candidate to take the win tonight, she’s only recently moved to the main roster and has looked good in her matches so far so why not go with her. The win here provides them the chance to work and develop her for upto another year before having to cash in, to me that sounds like a no lose situation, if she fails you can still make a good story out of her losing the chance or even have her drop the briefcase after being challenged by someone else.
Becky Lynch, I dont know how much longer they can go without using Becky again as the main woman on Smackdown, she really has been going nowhere fast the last who knows how many months. Not to say she’s perfect as her ring has seemed to have slowed down slightly since her NXT work, but she still presents one of the best all round wrestlers they have.
Naomi, the Wrestlemania women’s battle royal winner.......remember? Naa me neither, its not like she’s done anything good with it since. Very similar to Becky in that regard in that she feels like shes been treading water for awhile awaiting something to come her way. She’s the level below Becky and some of the others so doesn't rank highly for me in potential winners.
Sasha Banks, is it just me that has lost any interest in her and Bayley since they started their stop/go feud? They went to go heavy with it then didnt as they couldn't find a spot at Wrestlemania for a singles match with them, then tried to explain that was the plan to have a long, slow feud as if anyone believes that seriously. Banks will always get a good reaction from the fans as they know she’s talented but needs to be a solid heel, not so sure she’s high up on the list of people that are due the big push.....plus her Bayley feud is slowly moving along isnt it....
After looking at them all and picking three potential victors ill go with Lynch, Moon and Natalya, with Nattie being the favourite, but, only if she cashes in TONIGHT otherwise my interest lowers in her having the case for long - NATALYA

Nia Jax (c) vs Ronda Rousey: Raw Women’s Title Match
I still cant believe they had Jax tap on Raw to the arm-bar, she shouldn't have been anywhere near put in that move until this match, then she had to go on Twitter and suggest that Ronda’s shoulders were down for a three count while attempting to apply the move, all just to not look weak before the match because of the poor booking.
This match will go in one of two ways, either a quick 2 or 3 minute match with Rousey going over QUICKLY and taking the title, or, they have a longer, slower match with Jax using her power and size advantage with Ronda gradually working over the arm to finally apply the arm-bar for a win.
If they go with the second option that could lose the crowd very quickly and see him them chanting things they'd rather not air on the network, plus I dont think a long singles match would suit either especially with each other. The first option is probably where they go and put all their energy into the Rousey push, then deal with defeating Nia later and focus on rehabbing her momentum at a later date. - ROUSEY
......... Unless Nattie cashes in and win the title first.........

Roman Reigns vs Jinder Mahal
This match is actually on the PPV? Really?
The highlight of this will easily be the crowds reaction to it, both guys are hated by the majority of fans but they will most likely end up cheering Jinder to mess with managements love of Roman. Expect the announcers to very quickly jump on it during the match and say that the crowd are ‘having fun’ but really dont mean it.
Truthfully this bout also needs to be quick with Reigns demolishing Jinder as well as his boy-toy Singh, hell id expect the other Singh to return as well to get involved, it would be the only way to have Mahal win, but I doubt it. Roman punches everyone and has to cock his wrist everytime as usual - REIGNS
Tumblr media
Carmella (c) vs Asuka: Smackdown Women’s Title Match
Here the big question seems to be how to screw Asuka out of the win and title win without harming her the most, and the answer to that seems to be the rumour of James Ellsworth returning to Carmella’s side, urgh.
If her and Cass hadn't have broken up id been saying for ages that they needed to be together on tv with him as her bodyguard intimidating the other women, which would have worked well in adding another dimension to her act that no other women on the show has. But, I dont need Ellsworth returning to the company to be the one to fill that role.
If you cant have Carmella beat Asuka then dont put the match together, I hate it when they book theirselves into a corner when there’s no need as it just shows they dont plan things out with enough foresight. Carmella retains and Asuka comes out of it looking poorer than she went in. - CARMELLA
Tumblr media
Seth Rollins (c) vs Elias: Intercontinental Title Match
I actually cant wait for this match, with Rollins receiving a great push lately in getting the ring time to show what he can do, as well as Elias progressing really well in the ring since being put in matches with talented wrestlers which is great to see.
Rollins is an interesting factor, with how he’s been performing lately and his crowd reactions he deserves to be alot higher up the card in the Universal title scene. But at the same time he’s doing great in working with other guys that need the higher level of competition to help develop some of the talented mid-carders the company has. If they want to act on his popularity he’ll drop the belt and move on though im not sure that’s whats best for Elias and the others around that spot, it could see them having to have long Raw matches over the title featuring two guys that arent upto the level they need to have good matches leading to poor reactions and a halt to Elias’ push.
Personally I dont think they've made or are in the position to make that big decision just yet, so the safest option is to have Seth retain and continue on this course. If they change their minds it wont take much to move him up but more focus is needed on who can replace him as the developer around the IC title. - ROLLINS
Tumblr media
Bobby Lashley vs Sami Zayn
From the WWE website:  Bobby Lashley and Sami Zayn will clash at WWE Money in the Bank in a highly personal showdown for family honor and vertigo retribution.
Vertigo retribution? Oh joy.
I love Sami and also think they could be handling Lashley alot better and taking advice from how he was booked in TNA/Impact, but this feud really hasn't clicked for anyone and doesn't feel like its going to anytime soon, not sure they see it the same though.
I hope they can have a really good match together and change the viewers minds on this whole feud, but it seems like this could end up being a match where Sami is running away from him as much as possible until getting caught. I predict a Lashley victory then they decide tomorrow if the feud continues or stops dead before Raw - LASHLEY
Tumblr media
Daniel Bryan vs Big Cass
Poor Bryan, comes back from years away and gets stuck in a feud with Cass trying to help him develop his game on tv when he really isnt tv ready for the level they want him at. And worst of all is that Daniel won the first time they fought and this company loves 50/50 booking so I fully expect a Cass win, leading to them having to have a third rubber match down the round.
Can we not just have Bryan win and move him into feuds with the likes of Styles/Nakamura/Joe/Rusev please? - CASS
Tumblr media
The Bludgeon Brothers (c) vs Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson: Smackdown Tag Titles Match - Kickoff Show Match
Poor guys got relegated to the kick off match due to so many matches being booked for the show, with some not needed whereas this would have provided something to the main show for me.
The Bludgeon Brothers reign so far has been pretty unimpressive, and that’s mainly down to their lack of tv time and worthy matches, im glad the guys involved are getting time in the ring but we got on Smackdown recently the match id prefer in Harper/Anderson. Harper should really be a singles guy around the US title or higher and Anderson is really under-rated and may surprise alot of people if given the chance and a run alone. To replace them just put Lars Sullivan with Rowan and find a partner for Gallows or try him out on commentary?
In terms of the winners it has to be the champions, there’s no point having a title change on the kickoff show as its pointless and will nearly 100% result in a rematch on Smackdown anyway- BLUDGEON BROTHERS
Wow this show feels LLLLOOOOOONNNNNGGGGG and full of matches that dont need to be on PPV or those that need to be over quickly and dont add much to the show. Its amazing that they can book NXT Takeovers so well in 2 and a half hours with around 5 matches, yet the main show PPV’s go on forever with too many matches on the card with people on them that feel like they HAVE to be on the show rather than a valid reason to actually be involved on the show.
The crowd will be one of the most talked about aspects of the show, they are going to boo who they want, cheer who they want and also shit on alot of the results because of the decisions made.
Good luck getting through it in one sitting folks lol
Bye for now
