in basically most, if not all, forms of art, theres technically very little things that are objectively flaws in terms of quality (excluding shit like the author being a huge racist who writes abt why racism is good). like one could say that an obvious objective flaw in writing is incorrect grammar and syntax, but theres writers like e.e cummings who used those things in their work on purpose:

now how does this relate to warrior cats? i dont know. something abt how u need to be able to bitch abt art n other media confidently despite ur love for them in order to not only improve at your craft, but also be able to analyze and understand the art of others. being able to give an elaborate explanation on why something in a piece of media makes you feel the way it does n why u think its bad or good will help you look at art that breaks rules and either appreciate it more, or explain how it exactly fails at what its attempting. it will help you create exciting, out there art that will singlehandedly make some freak have an epiphany that’ll have em create some more exciting out there art. and so that hamster wheel keeps running. i have not slept.

it's funny how in school i was constantly failing literature and reading comprehension tests and essays but now in 2023 my tumblr niche is known for making long and detailed analysis posts. amazing what just a little bit of autism can change ✨️

#to give you an idea of how bad i was. one of the reasons i dropped out is i realized i won't be able to get 10 bagrut units (which is -#- like. doing 2 tests and it counting like you finished high school even without doing the whole 3 years)#because i wanted to do 5 units of english. but. you had to do some english literature to pass #and i was so bad at it and couldn't focus during lessons at all that i figured there's no point in even trying #and now here i am. analyzing text for clout. and all i needed was to be extremely abnormal about said text #also researching classic literature so i can stand on a stage and tell people about it akskflgh my lit teacher would've lost it.
