So a poster offered some insight on an ask I sent to someone else on what she thought by the EPs saying how armony isn't necessarily romantic. She explained that it's more than lustful looks and jumping in bed, but it's supporting one another, building an emotional bond, and stuff like that. I totally agree with her, and I respect what she's said. However, it goes back to what you said about the writers showing us. We need to see more of those stolen moments of tenderness, deeper conversations of how each other's lives are going to make us believe, especially on Arman's side, they share something special. I call BS on the situations not allowing for them. Thony gets them with Fiona all the time. Last week showed us that time can be made. One hug here or a touch on the face there would not be the end of the world. Right now, if I were a new watcher this season, and told that Arman and Thony shared two kisses last season, I wouldn't believe them. Consistency is key.

I am not trying to go against others in our fanbase or cause drama. There's enough of that in the Chenford fandom, which is, ironically enough, partially a result of poor pacing.

ia with you re: consistency, but to clarify, my last post was meant to be more of a positive outlook loool. like i personally don’t expect to see tons of romantic development from armony this season because of the way it’s gone so far and from the cues from the EPs. that’s not to say that i don’t want there to be or that i think they won’t ever become romantic, only that from my perspective it doesn’t seem to be a focus for this season. but like i said, i dont necessarily see that as a problem (consistency aside) because i like that the core of their relationship goes deeper than just being physical/romantic. and if only we get more emotional bonding, i would be a very happy camper! what i had meant was that i think us shippers might have a better time with the rest of the season if the expectations are lowered on the romantical front — since this show isn’t centered on a romance and so we can just enjoy whatever does come our way! it was meant to be a positive spin lol. but again those are just my thoughts, the last thing i want is to drum up negativity or tell other people how to feel or how to watch this show, so apologies if i came across that way!

i’ve said this before but worth reiterating, i don’t mean to spread bad vibes!! except when it comes to g*rrett miller lmao 👹 i’ve limited my ranting to ask responses lol. i prob sound overdramatic and anxious since i would hate to lose this show before the going gets good, but at the end of the day it’s just a tv show. shipping and frustrations etc, i don’t take any of it that seriously. in general i’m still v happy to watch this season and hope to enjoy the rest of the season, and i truly hope everyone else loves it so the show gets renewed for many more seasons to come!! 🤞
