you’d be unofficially known as the harbingers’ darling. they all kinda almost don’t trust each other and don’t really agree on anything with each other outside of work, but they really start to get along when it concerns you! i’d imagine like they all have a meeting, and sadly, because you aren’t a harbinger, you can’t take part in it. but that’s okay! you fr have your own little waiting room they made for you. it has comfy seats and a nice view of the outside, and it’s got bookshelves and a small fireplace. it’s really near their meeting room too!

after their meeting (of course, this being a given that it’s not like they have an immediate mission they have to go to at once), the doors immediately open, and this was your sign that you could now enter since their business was now finished.

of course, this isn’t limited only to spending time with all of them at once! each and every one of them at one point, depending on their schedules, love to spent time with you one and one or with a few others as well (though they really would prefer if it was just you two…).

columbina, i like to think, is the one who actively searches for you the most. she loves to hold your hand as you two walk around either at the palace of anywhere for that fact! she also loves it when you two are just in her office or in the garden, sitting around while you two chatter with each other. sometimes, when you two are in her room, she makes you sit down and fixes your hair while she sings for you or you read her a story! after which, she’ll dress you up in clothes she bought the day before or so because they reminded her of you! she also sometimes teaches you new songs to sing in new languages.

if not columbina, then it’s dottore who also actively searches for you as well! he’s always excited to bring you with him when he’s doing his little experiments (though maybe the less extreme ones), and he loves it when you ask him all sorts of questions! it ranges from asking what he’s doing to who’s he doing it to to why he’s doing it. sometimes he doesn’t give you a proper answer on why, or it’s a really plain answer like he felt like it or something, but you liked how excited and fired up he got from doing them, so you liked it when he did them!

whenever you bump into childe, he always asks you how you are! he asks who you were with before you two bumped into each other, and he asks you if you want to hang out with him. he likes to sometimes asks you if you want to practice sparring with him, or he asks if you want him to teach you some new tricks and moves he learned. capitano usually is who opposes this. capitano likes to spoil you and he treats you the gentlest out of all the harbingers, handling you like you were a doll that might break if handled too recklessly. that’s why he’s so against it whenever he’s walking around and he sees you sparring with childe and the 11th is getting a little too worked up. immediately, capitano will pull you aside and say it’s his turn to be with you.

a lot of the time, you find yourself wandering the palace whenever the other harbingers are out. you love it here! it’s so pretty and big and you love to explore! however, sometimes when you do, you find yourself in the presence of the ninth, who for whatever reason, is one of the few who stay here the most.

truth be told, you just love listening to pantalone! you always found his voice so soothing and relaxing, and he always greets you with a smile even when he’s busy with the finances in his office. he’s one of the busiest, having been tasked with dealing with all the finances and so of the fatui, but the few times he’s free for you, he loves to spend spoiling you! pantalone also has a habit of asking you to help him out a little bit in terms of getting him certain books and whatnot. this sometimes leads to him asking if you can understand the language it’s in, and if you can, he praises you and if not, he’ll smile and pat your head, saying it’s okay, and if you’d ever like to learn in the future, he’ll teach you.

of course you go with learning-

learning how to read in those new languages proved to be useful whenever you were with pierro! whenever he’s busy with paperwork or so but you just insist on spending time with him (which, he can has a hard time refusing sometimes), they prove to be useful when you’re reading some reports to him while he’s signing or checking other works! he doesn’t like having any other chair in his office (except for the couch he placed inside for you), so often times, he lets you sit on his lap while you read to him, and he strokes your hair!!

YES PANTALONE IS A RICH BASTARD and uses tons of skin and hair caring products. He enjoys being taken care of and will do the same in return, that's a fair exchange. Just wash his hair and listen to him complaining about his co-workers asking for budget raise for 10th time this month I think he's very stressed and tired by the end of the day, he might even doze off right in bath, since it's warm here and you gently stroke his hair (he looks cute-but wake him up please or he'll end up with sore neck)

Columbina gives me vibe of a person, who uses a lot of silly stuff, like bath bombs or salt. She's playful and will splash you, which will turn into a war with water being all over the floor (poor people who'll have to clean it up..). She's another one to possibly fall asleep in bathtub, so wake her up too. She also sings in shower

We should stop slandering only Dottore, bc Childe is also a type of person to give you a biiig hug, while covered in blood. But, well, he's easier to get to wash himself. Like Bina, he's also playful and will summon small water animals to entertain both of you (he will create a small narval and gently bup it on your nose... Before breaking it, so you'll have water over your face, bc you're so adorable when flushed!! You're allowed to splash him for this)

I think Sandrone forgets about bathing, drowned in her work and if you invite her, Sandrone will say she'll take a quick shower to return to her work. Please convince her to come with you, she needs rest. In bathtub, all of her thoughts are about unfinished projects :(

Hehe YES it's obvious Pantalone only uses the most exquisite, high-end products (have you seen his hair? absolutely LUSCIOUS) He probably made a deal with the company to have the stuff delivered to him regularly so he doesn't need to keep buying it lol, but YES he lovesss to pamper you but he also adores being pampered in return. But you gotta make sure you're a pro at it, don't tug or pull on his hair too roughly, be gentle when washing him, you know what I mean. Make sure to sympathize with him and be very soft as he complains to you about how that doctor is using up his funds with no progress. Make sure to give him lots of kisses when he decides the perfect napping place is laying on your chest in the middle of the big af bath tub 😭 (Also get him out of there because a sore Pantalone is a grumpy Pantalone) But he'd also be the kind of guy to be romantic as hell and put candles around the bath and have a book to read in there too :3

AND OMFGG 100% AGREE ON COLUMBINA SHE LOVES TO DO STUFF LIKE THAT. You two always try out new things to put in the bath, I feel like she's really one of those self-care people so your skin is gonna be ultra soft. I HATE TO SAY IT BUT YOU'RE 100% RIGHT ON CHILDE...😭😭 Bro comes back after destroying multiple Hilichurl and Treasure Hoarder camps and is ready to hug you to death... baby i love u but CLEAN UP FIRST. But at least he actually loves the baths/the water in general so it's actually quite fun (you're just sad for the person who needs to wash his clothes 💀) He's actually so cute after a shower because his hair is all damp but then you get to see it fluff up back to life with that long ahoge 😭 He's also extra cuddly and won't let go of you <3

SANDRONE BABY NO... get her robots to turn against her. Don't let her leave until she's had a long, warm bath. Her mind will still probably drift to her robots and incomplete puppets... but give her a really good scrub and wash (she won't admit it but she feels way better after working nonstop) (she dives back right into working nonstop again though) Though i feel like she secretly likes to be pampered, lol she doesn't even walk by herself, her robot carries her. So though she doesn't express her gratitude much verbally she is thankful deep down.

hey! ty for liking my tsaritsa so much!!! i'd love to hear more of your thoughts on her, if there are any!

omg of course, she's absolutely stunning, your art style does her so much justice (and honestly is just an awesome gorgeous style in general!!) and tbh your design is how I picture her in my head now !!

I have a lot of thoughts and ideas about the Tsaritsa, a lot of them are just kind of ~vibe~ based and hard to convey, but i'll toss them beneath the cut!

I really like the theory that her 'ideal' is love, like it's such a fun and interesting concept

like, to begin with i imagine she was a very kind deity, not in a familiar way, but in a general sort of .. benevolent to her subjects and open to those that sought an audience with her. Not exactly 'warm', but not entirely shutting them out either

though i imagine that sort of hollowed out as time wore on and she realised that even being an actual deity didn't give her the power she needed to be able to make any real tangible changes to things or help those who were doomed from the start (which is probably a big part of why shes so anti-celestia or whatever)

despite her despair and attitude towards romantic love sort of withering, she places a heavy emphasis on familial love (including found family) and on forming bonds that will stand the test of toil and time

she comes off very aloof, especially to those beneath her, and will actively try to avoid being around others if she can help it. She dislikes forming close attachments

this isnt to mean that she doesn't care. she just cares so much that the only way she can deal with it is by distancing herself, or else she's just setting herself up for repeated heartbreak when her loved ones inevitably die.

the exception to this ? pierro.

pierro is cursed with undeath, and even before that he was someone with a fiercely loyal (and stubborn) streak.

they both told themselves theyd never allow themselves to become attached to someone else after all the losses theyd been through, but in making this pact alongside one another they basically sealed their own fate

there are no simple words for the kind of intertwined, codependent, epic-spanning love-hate they have for one another.

their bond was one forged in the fires of loss and hardened by the ice of grief. despite what they both may say, they're in it for the long haul. Tsaritsa has slowly become accustomed to this idea. Pierro has not and will still vehemently deny it.

i guess to really shave it down id call it a queerplatonic relationship. something unholy and gorgeous. two flowers holding onto a cliffside by the tips of their roots and growing around one another.

the second 'exception' is columbina. i imagine she's like a weird nibling to the tsaritsa. she was picked to be amongst the harbingers because of her ability to light up any room she's in (i imagine tsaritsa secretly has a nickname for her that's somewhere along the lines of 'songbird' because of her voice ngl)

outside of this, the tsaritsa is cool and aloof and works very hard to maintain her composure, especially when under scrutiny. she is brilliant at keeping this facade in place.

until she's no longer in the public gaze, that is.

i like to think she's a tiny bit of a goofball, she has a soft spot for 'dad jokes' that make pierro roll his eyes and rub his temples, and she quite enjoys wine (im sorry but if she were a facebook mom her page would be minion memes and posts talking about how its wine o-clock)

she also rather enjoys slapstick humour - there are a few dottore clones running around who have perfected it enough so that she has to cover her mouth with a hand to stop her subjects from seeing the way her lips twitch upwards as she holds back her laughter

she's also really, really petty. not that she'd ever do anything about it, but more than once pierro has found himself in her chambers late at night, watching as she paces back and forth, her sixth glass of wine in hand, and complains about how that 'brick-brained geo archon just won't sign the damn contract! isn't that his entire shtick?!'

she also has a soft spot for kids, or people who have a youthful energy about them. it reminds her that maybe not all is bad in the world, and that she's going to change it for the better for their sake.

I like to think she's extremely good at various sports - i love the idea featured on the asker's blog about her having an elk instead of a horse. that's so cool and lives in my brain rent free and forever tbh. her and pierro on their steeds racing through a snowy forest on a rare free afternoon

i think she would've once been the type to enjoy prosey, flowery words, long poems, romantic tales of star-crossed lovers, that kind of thing. she read a lot and even wrote some. not any more though.

she has a very stern and strict air about her and won't hesitate to play into that if she feels like she needs to, but honestly she's got a good sense of humour on her. things that pierro scolds the other harbingers and such for are often things that she secretly finds really funny

though ALSO she's a stickler for good manners. i like to think that has extended to the snezhnayans , who are, when dealing with those outside of their immediate familial circles, are super duper polite (even if their tones may come off as abrupt). there's also a very heavily laid-on vibe of 'respect your elders' in snezhnaya.

she has such motherly vibes, but in a really standoffish way. she wont tell someone directly that she cares about them or what happens to them, but it'll be rerouted through like three other people like a game of telephone. like, yeah, that one person she caught shivering while on guard is gonna get a nice new pair of gloves but it will be from an anonymous donor (or just shoved into their hands by pierro with an annoyed grunt)

honestly now ive started im kind of finding it hard to stop but i just adore the tsaritsa so much and i love love love how you draw her so much, she's just so amazing and feels so like.. real, y'know? thank you so much for this ask, i really enjoyed rambling and thinking about the tsaritsa some more. i think your design and ideas should be canon actually

OMG THE LORE OF THE IMMORTAL HARBINGERS

Especially for La Signora, because she used to go to the Akademiya about 500 years ago, and if Dottore was already in the Fatui 400 years ago (during the Tatarasuna incident), and therefore had been expelled a while ago, they could have been attending as students at the same time. Meaning that La Signora might have seen Dottore in his scrawny Akademiya scholar phase. (okay I know he probably wasn't that scrawny considering he strangled Sohreh to death but yk).

Plusssss if the theories about Colombina being a Seelie or one of the moon sisters are true, then she's probably been a live for a gazillion years and may have also seen Dottore when he was young.

whether it's been canonically confirmed or not, it's very very very likely that dottore is zandik. i wasn't into genshin when hyv was hinting at signora being rosalyne, but... looking back on it, the foreshadowing seems sort of obvious from a writing perspective. so, it is reasonable to assume they were at the akademiya around the same time. maybe they had no interest in one another (and probably were students of different darshans), but that doesn't really matter because they were probably there at the same time. rosalyne probably knew about him but didn't know him. he seemed infamous and shit.

THEREFORE it is COMPLETELY reasonable to assume signora would always be teasing him and shit. and we already know columbina DOES. i mean, girlie looked at him and said "you're looking young today, doctor 🤭" SO?????? THOSE TWO WOULD TOTALLY FUCK W/ HIM TOGETHER

when i was just inspecting every little thing about his second mini illustration and literally giggling at how cute it was and all — it kinda threw me back to the time i first thought about my academic rivals + roommates concept with kuni .. but now that you presented me with your side of the brainrot which thank you btw it's so *chefs kiss and totes adorbs*

you uttered under your breath, a book in hand as your eyes continued to skim through a lengthy page after another. honestly, you're skipping through almost everything you read through — some part of you admiring the amurata darshan for being able to understand all of this. maybe you should have listened to your lover's recommendation and read something else.

curious, you eye him from the side to see how he's faring. of course, you were aware that this wasn't as much of an issue to him as it was to you, and you envy the ease he found in being able to read through his share of research without complaints.

the wanderer's eyes were quick to meet yours, and he was just as quick in raising a brow at you in what you presumed to be curiosity on his end as well. but that wasn't the case...

“having difficulty?” he murmured with a subtle smirk of amusement. he was aware, not when the confusion practically clouded the light of curiosity in your eyes. yet you affirmed anyways. “i won't shy away from admitting that i am ‘having difficulty.’” you parroted his words with a little smile, deciding it's best for you to just put the book down. you could hear him chuckle a bit dryly at your affirmation, uttering a barely audible ‘i told you so’ only for you to hear. the amusement that adorned his face softened a bit as he heard you hum in response.

“actually — love, can you pass me the book you recommend at first?” the moment he heard that endearment, a rush of warmth rose up to his porcelain cheeks as he hung his head slightly lower to allow his hair do the covering for him. “mhm.” the wanderer hummed in response whilst reaching over to said book next to the small box you brought with you for him. his pinky finger coming into contact with the ocean blue colored gift box for a moment before he took the book and passed to you all the while avoiding your gaze.

with a simple thank you on your end, the area fell silent once more. just the distant sound of students coming and going, chatting about their deadlines or some who were studying in solitude. it's a kind of quiet that allowed you to focus in a way, especially while the wanderer remained by your side; it felt ideal. staying alone together in his favorite corner in the house of daena.

surprise surprise, what he ended up recommending you wasn't a book. but a collection of research papers from the vahumana darshan — researches trying to pinpoint the mystery behind tatarasuna's sabotagement, researches investigating the ancient civilization of the sumeru desert... it felt like skimming through a collection of reports. you gave him a threat-less glare upon seeing that accomplished smirk on his face. but you digress.

you spotted a familiar handwriting shortly after however, his handwriting, and you were quick to begin reading the first research paper simply and straightforwardly titled ‘societal issues in inazuma.’ it was the commentary he mentioned he wrote out of boredom while he was occupied with cooking lunch for you. a smile crept up to your lips at the resurgence of the memory.

that style... how much of a reliable yet unreliable narrator could he be? certainly the former when it came to discussing anything regarding what was once his homeland. and you adored every word spoken in this research paper. sure, it was harsh at some points, but that was just how your wanderer was; straightforward and to the point. hence the reason you felt such immense joy reading the commentary he wrote.

this time around, it was his turn to eye you from the side. indifference fading into a very slight surprise as he saw you smiling whilst reading his research paper, but he paid it no mind. at least you were having some form of fun like you usually tend to.

a while would pass, the once distant sounds of the students became more and more prominent as at long last, he finished the forsaken paper he was writing. and from the corners of his eyes; the wanderer spotted your left forearm on the table. naturally, he was quick to turn to face you and be greeted with your arms on the table and resting your head on your arms, the research papers you read neatly yet messily set aside... sleeping here of all places?

“idiot,” he mumbled whilst getting up from his seat, carefully not making a sound as to not disturb your peace. “this is exactly why i told you to stay home.”

but even then, as he complained to your sleeping self with his ‘i told you so’s, he didn't hesitate in slowly taking his white haori and gently draping it over your sleeping figure, watching you as you breathed in and out softly. and for a moment, he stood there; simply watching you. his anemo vision that now hung over your shoulder began to shine and dim at a familiar rhythm that resembled the same sweet melody he'd sleep to in your shared home, the sight allowed for a subtle smile to adorn his face that if one were to look closely, would be greeted with a softness that'd seem uncharacteristic.

whispers could be heard from behind him, the contentment and softness dissipated in an instant as he shot a glare to those students whispering behind his back, and that was enough to have them scurry away to someplace else.

a sigh escaped the wanderer's lips afterwards as he turned to look at you again. perhaps he'll let you have your little nap whilst finishing up the second thesis he had.

yes, that's a decent enough excuse to have you stay by his side for a little longer.

okay so far pantalone, i’m just down bad for this man. not only is he pretty and rich but he’s also super ambitious and i think he just has a huge brain. like yes tell me your evil ideas. your plans on conquering the world. lets see how far your ambitions will take. i am curious tho on why he doesn’t have his vision yet, or if he’ll ever be able to have one. he’s mysterious and charming and i just looooove his character design. i feel like he’s a lot more ominous than he lets on so i’m very curious about him.

dottore is just perfect. i actually liked him ever since childe’s story quest bcos man is unhinged, experimental, and deadly intelligent. i want to see what else he can discover or try doing especially since they basically have deep pockets and nearly unlimited resources + power. beautiful man, as well. he’s just overall messed up but we love that <33 childe is a heavily mischaracterized character - i think this young man is so precious and misunderstood. he’s a good person deep down, a great brother and a family man. he keeps to his promises and is extremely loyal. strong and funny too. i actually would trust childe with my whole life.

arlecchino idk much about but her beauty blew me away. jaw dropped. breath taken away. columbina is also unhinged and i am highkey afraid of her - she’s unpredictable and is so calm in a scary way. i feel like she’d kill me if i breathed the wrong way. but also the fact that she’s such a high ranked harbinger makes me sooo excited to see how her role will play out. i want to know more about her the most and her connection to la signora. capitano is HOTTTT he gives me gentle big bear vibes and pierro is a dilf but... i know that man is freaky. he is not a cinnamon roll. scared of him tbh but more in a way where i’d just obey out of fear and be a loyal subject. would love to see more of the harbingers !!

This wasn't your usual hide and seek game, it was more like a "come out or I'll literally ignore you for the rest of the day" game.

Being a part of the fatui wasn't that bad as you thought, until you fell inlove, and went to his homeland for a meeting.

"[Name]?" He called out for you, completely forgetting that he hadn't talk to you yesterday, making you have a sour mood.

You completely ignored him, walking out without a coat on. Childe tried to stop you, only his body to be slammed on the door once you closed it, harshly.

As you arrived at the meeting place, you looked at your fellow harbinger who was somehow close to you. "Damselette?" You called out, she was still laying on a thing that you couldn't seem to find out what it was.

You listened as the girl sang a melody, you harmonizing with her as you stand beside her, shivering.

Damselette who was resting her head, sat properly and looked up at you, showing what she had laid on.

It was Signora's coffin. You stood there in complete shock, hatred filling your blood.

"What will you do for La Signora when she's gone?" Damselette smirked, seeing your surprised state.

"I'll be doing what she was supposed to do." You answered, closing your eyes as your fists tighten. "What is it?" Damselette asked again, turning her head to the coffin.

"I'll kill the traveler." [Name] spoke up, leaving Damselette quite shocked. "I'd love to see that." She joked, standing up and sharing her coat with the shivering girl.

"How dare you come without a coat? This land is cold. Do you want to freeze to death?" Damselette scolded, hugging her shorter friend as they both walk to the meeting table.

"Childe made me upset, I was quite stubborn to agree and go with him. Seeing me suffer makes him suffer. So i'll sacrifice myself for that." You replied, Damselette only shaking her head as she giggled.

As soon as she spotted a ginger head on the meeting table, you quickly went in Damselette's coat, making her surprised, yet she gets the message.

She walks in, her eyes still close as silence fills the cold room. Pantalone looked at the harbingers, an empty space beside Childe was spotted.

Damselette coughed, making Pantalone look at her as she shifted her jacket, a part of your colored hair popped up. As soon as Pantalone nodded, Damselette covered you, again.

Childe was surprised you missed the meeting, worry taking his body and mind as he thinks that you've had gone somewhere.

He wished he chased after you, but he knew you weren't dumb so he thought you'd be here. He asked his fellow harbingers where you could've been, but they either rolled their eyes or shrugged.

He noticed he hadn't asked Damselette yet, only making his way to her until he noticed a part of your hair, making him rush to her.

As soon as you heard footsteps rushing in, you quickly hid yourself underneath Damselette's coat, again.

"[Name] I know you're there." Childe spoke up, about to pull on Damselette's coat to which she moved backwards.

"Excuse me? It's me Columbina, code name Damselette. Have you forgotten?" Childe was taken aback to her acting oblivious.

He quickly opened her coat and it revealed nothing, literally just air. He moved backwards, seeing Damselette's eyebrows furrow as he whispered an apology.

As he ran, still looking back, he bumped into who he wanted to see. "[Name]!" He scolded, grabbing your wrists as you try to remove his hands from yours.

"Quit trying to hide from me! I'm sorry for ignoring you all day, yesterday, okay?!" He practically jumped on you, so you could be engulfed in his hug.

You felt warm afterwards not fighting back anymore as you silently accept his apology. He puts his head on your shoulder as he wrapped his big coat around both of you, kissing your neck.

You let out a breathy laugh, moving to cup his cheeks and gave him a big kiss.

I guess you could say that was the best way to give you both warmth.

Also reminded me to tell you something that's been on my mind for a while! You said you didn't have a voicecast for Meir and I remembered my favorite tenor, Franco Corelli, who was famous for his extreme agoraphobia. It's why I asked you how Meir managed to perform; Corelli had to retire early when he became incapable of going onstage. I think the voice really suits Meir: delicate for a tenor, but vibrant, full of 'color', intensely dramatic and very powerful when he wanted to.

The posters reminded me to tell you because my favorite recording of his is from Dei Pagliacci, specifically the Ridi, Pagliaccio aria. He plays the pierrot and when I saw the Pierrot Avec Le Cœur Brisé I was like WAIT...!!!

Anyway they're fab, well worth waiting for! I adore them but I think my favorite is your Columbina

Okay but real talk; I agree with a lot of points made here. Yae made it hard for me to do Gorou’s hang out. And I swear I had to un-jam my space bar when I did her quest. She gives the energy of a person who’d fetishize things (like how this fandom loves to fetishize all the ships 😬 I don’t even wanna touch that topic)

I don’t like her personality or her design. It was so weird hearing her voice and her personality only to remember that’s she’s supposed to be the head shrine maiden.

Hoyo has a lot of issues with their characters. From designs to personality to interaction. And, by the heavens, the English translation makes it all the worse.

😀 I also don’t trust people who are down bad for the harbingers. Yes, their designs are amazing. I will admit that. I love how Columbina looks! I love how Pierro looks as well! But I could never ever find myself simping for them.

dottore never paid any thought to his identity, since it didn't benefit or affect him at all (especially back in his akademiya days), but he is very very much attracted exclusively to men in my brain. yeah he went on a date with a girl, but... you know. he also murdered her. so. yeah... also he's demisexual; he just does not feel any sexual desire unless it is directed towards someone he deeply cares about and has a strong bond with. he and pantalone are married, trust me fr /j /lh

columbina is genderless (she/it pronoun user) and lesbian. her angel motifs make me feel like it has no gender at all. after all... angels are eldritch. demons are reflections of human sin, but angels? they were never human. that is how i, as a writer, see the differences between angels and demons. so columbina, in my silly little brain, is genderless. or agender. or voidgender/gendervoid. who knows? but it has not a single ounce of gender in her body.

arlecchino is non-binary & lesbian. she likes women. who can blame her tbh.... she also has no pronoun preference and just presents in a more masc way to her underlings & her orphans (hence why they call her father, and why her underlings call her lord rather than lady if i recall correctly. also yes i am a short hair arlecchino enthusiast).

scara is transmasc & asexual. i know, i'm bold for saying that he's ace LMAO but fr, as of right now, i see him as asexual. i don't know why. i don't have a real reason for this one. however, i can explain him being trans--ei modeled him after herself, so... yeah. you guys see where i'm going with that one? yeahh he's transmasc i just know it 💥💥💥
