Since the first introduction of Frankenstein being a real person in this universe, Jekyll has expressed that she was a great inspiration for his field of study, and I mean, how couldn't she be. She made a whole person from mismatched corpses using nothing but the science at her disposal and being driven by pation, who wouldn't want to be like her? Because of this, once Jekyll finally meets Frankenstein in the flesh, he is very obviously saddened by being called nothing short of a narc as well as being accused of being an "imposter," but at this point we all know that. What I love about this is that despite being insulted to his face and told that he was a last resort, Jekyll AND HYDE both desperately wanted her approval, or at least that she would give them the time of day.

BUT, because he's seen as a clean and polished version of what true mad science really is, Frankenstein does not give two shits about these two. From her perspective, she has little to no reason to assume anything might be even the slightest bit off about Jekyll... except for the whole green eyes incident. It was only a crack, but other than that Henry just seems like a normal English gentleman but ohhhhh OHHHHHH

Now, with the whole truth being laid out for Frankenstein to see, Jekyll and Hyde have have her undivided attention, but in the absolute worst way possible. Instead of approving of their work like a teacher would a student or even as equals in the same field, she's seeing them as a specimen to poke and prod and find out what makes it tick. Hell, before Jekyll transformed, Frankenstein was kicking him out of her room and even opened the door for him, only to shut it the moment she saw what happened, and even went so far as to call it fascinating.

No, yeah, this is technically what they wanted (having Frankenstein's approval) but it's given to them at such a low point in their lives that it ends up being an entire monkey's paw of a wish come true

✧⠀⨾ you're the only person who cares about him and his well being, you aren't revolted by him when instead you show affection to him: something he was against at the start since he felt as if he was going to go ape-shit

✧⠀⨾ but when you first hugged him and held his hand the man went mental, not in the sense of killing you but he suddenly realized that he craved your touch, and only your touch if anyone else tried to touch him they'd be on the floor- bleeding out.

✧⠀⨾ he likes to steal stuff for you, as a thank you for all the stuff you give him

✧⠀⨾ If the police or anything links you to him and try to hurt you- he isnt afraid of getting a few more murder charges, Jekyll is though.

✧⠀⨾ Though of course, this man is the embodiment of evil, and a Victorian man so he (Just Like Jekyll) takes sex a bit too seriously, though there isnt much that is in exchange for it- maybe his aftercare?

✧⠀⨾ he is a very VERY vocal man, though no moans for whimpers or anything- just gruffs and praise and or degradation even if you're the one doming which is rare

✧⠀⨾ speaking of, this man is the biggest dom ever- he may not have the stature but he sure as hell is one, he's got the stamina, he's got the strength, he's got the speed.

✧⠀⨾ though he is very rough usually, he can and will be gentle if he knows you need it, he can tell if you're having a rough day and just needs some love.

✧⠀⨾ his aftercare is golden, he takes care of you- brings you a drink, gets you a duvet and lets you rest on him or wherever you want, he lets you calm down before getting you some food if you're hungry or if you fall asleep he'll make sure you're in a comfortable position in his and your bed before going to sleep too- or he'll guard the area

Holt Hyde - In the Spotlight

Life became quite an adventure lately since I found out part of me is normal (and the other a nerd) and that I had to get used to daylight. [That’s easy for me! JJ.] I was so used to waking up after the sunset that, when my… I mean, “our” transformation happened in broad daylight; I thought I was dreaming or crazy. Imagine that: I suddenly find myself in Monster High with all these students staring at me in the middle of this crazy tune, and then the music stops, and I go back to sleep for who knows how long, and then wake up again in a similar weird situation. Mom and Dad finally told me the truth (took them long enough! [Tell me about it! JJ]) and explained what happened. At first, I was scared, but last Friday, I woke up in my own bed, with the alarm clock howling music loud enough to raise the dead. On the night-stand, I found a note from Jackson stuck on our iCoffin on which he already had hooked the headphones: “I uploaded Catty Noir’s latest album on the phone. Try not to screw up, O.K.? PS: Let me out for biteology class; we have a dreadful test.”

I couldn’t help smiling when I grabbed the headphones and turned the volume up on the first song. Since I had a little time before class, I went to the Coffin Bean with Catty Noir’s clawsome voice in my ears. I enjoyed my first coffinccino and took the time to admire the city in the daylight. I got to school before the first bell and headed straight to the catacombs where I knew I’d find Operetta, thinking she would be surprised to see me, but it felt like a bomb when she told me the whole school had known about Jackson and me going back and forth for weeks. How disappointing! [For you or for me? JJ] On the other hand, she was astonished to hear I’d be able to go out more often. I think I could get used to the double life thing, as long as it goes like this. Hey Jackson, maybe you’re not such a dork after all. I actually think you might be alright. [Yeah… You too, Holt. I mean… Sometimes. JJ.]

Whenever I hear things to do by Alex G I think of Holt Hyde but like more specifically during Ghouls Rule because of how he wasnt always brought around because people liked his company but because they preferred to have him around vs. being around Jackson even though they both share the same body and are BOTH half normie and half monster and that Jackson just happens to be normie passing, and how quickly and easily it led to him almost dying over a false accusation about something juvenile and petty and how eager the police and normie school were to kill him even though he was CLEARLY a child and I-
