Pattern/kit is is Great Horned Owl by Hook, Line and Tinker.
I have a bunch of embroidery WIPs that I haven't had the creative energy to work on lately, but then February happened and I desperately needed something to ground myself. So I picked up this pattern. It's sloppy in places, but that's ok as it was really just to help me get through a period of grief and chaos.
BTW, I highly reccomend Hook Line and Tinker kits and patterns for people who are just getting started with embroidery, or experienced folks who just want a fun weekend project. They're also a small, sustainable company that gives back to their community, so what's not to love? Check them out if you're interested!
Owls are actually so cool btw. Highly recommend looking into the way their feathers are designed to completely silence when they flap by dispersing the air and sound. It's wild
The sun was in my eyes so I did NOT realize what this great horned owl's eyes looked like and was in for a big surprise when I went through my pictures later
I love to think in operation snake eater during some cutscenes where (Naked) Snake is hiding and there's little 6yo Bee with The Boss or smth. But the whole fucking scene, Bee's nonverbal ass is looking at where Snake is hiding like this shit
