I now know that large form printing my Jedi costume at FedEx is way too much money just to get copies with chunks of the pattern cut off so that I have to print parts of it at home and tape them together anyway.

There is no passion; there is serenity. 

Working while frustrated is not productive. I will work steadily to figure out this puzzle and reassemble the messed-up pieces.

There is no chaos; there is harmony.

I can problem solve and put these pieces together the way they are supposed to be so I can start cutting pattern pieces today.

 There is no death; there is the Force.

I cannot complete my Jedi costume if I am in jail for going full Mecha Karen on the FedEx or the employee who did her best and is not knowledgeable about sewing patterns despite me explaining it needed to be printed at 100% about fifty times.

I've had my eye on this adorable fabric for ages. It was on clearance so I finally broke down and bought a yard so I can make a pillowcase.

No measuring, just being lazy and eyeballing off a pillowcase I have that fits my pillows well. It's nice to have a brain break before I start on my next project and I want to try using an overclock stitch on the seams for practice since I'm finally going to be tackling a more screen accurate Jedi cosplay.

My sister is having a Death to my 20s themed party and I didn't have anything, so I found this cute dress at Goodwill for $7. But I think it needs some ✨ pizzazz ✨ so I am adding this clearance trim I found at Joanns to the U around the neck. It also needs tacked down.

I also found this super cute star skirt that's just a smidge too big for me, so I'm gonna add an elastic waist and see if I can convert the zipper to a pocket somehow.

Con photo ops are always quick but Hayden said hi and shook our hands and was really nice. Even as a kid the bullying the prequel actors really bothered me so I'm really happy to see the huge positive reception he got. I did tell him Attack of the Clones has been my favorite since I was a kid. ☺️
