hello! thank you for introducing me to PoE, i really enjoyed the story and also played a pale elf, a cipher, in fact, so i'm interested how u find playing as one bc i thought it was extra juicy to play story wise! Also, have u shared more details about Tarren? I'd love read more about her! <3 I'd never played this type of game b4 and it resulted in funny moments like not realising that looking at the map/inventory doesn't automatically pause the game until "aloth" rudely urged we get a move on(and we were in Dyrford - not exactly early on!!). So, it turns out I recruited Aloth after staring into space for days :)) My background was philosopher so it checks out i guess XD

GLAMFELLEN NATION RISE... pale elves are so cool .... im really enjoying cipher!!!! i picked ranger for my first run because i thought it would be easier to ease myself into a new game with new mechanics with a more straight forward class. but now i have my head wrapped around the game as a whole i think cipher will be tarren's official class! idk how this will work with multi-classing as priest in deadfire but we'll see im still figuring things out for tarren but ive settled on a backstory :) she is from old vailia with the gentry background (thank u console commands lol) she isn't of noble stock herself but her mother worked as a land agent/steward/game warden for a minor landed vailian family and so as thanks for her hard work and dedication decided to take on the cost of tarren's education and general welfare as a ward of the family. but because it's old vailia there was some level of political intrigue that involved everything going to shit to the level that tarren had to escape to the dyrwood. i dont think her parents were alive when this happened for simplicity's sake (it wasnt tragic it was just like. old age . i think they had her pretty late but im not 100% on elven longevity in the eora setting.) LMFAO. okay but if this makes you feel better the first time i played i think it took me about 60 hours to realise that you could manage keep restoration from anywhere in the world by just clicking on the keep icon in the ui. i kept travelling back to caed nua to arrange everything with the steward 🧍 aloth has that big ass grimoire to read anyway idk why hes complaining. your watcher has plenty of things to think about, yknow? just little things like the souls and ghosts you can now interact with, the fact that your awakening is a race against time to keep ur sanity... just normal things. regular. yep but yeah im really glad you enjoyed it!! thank you for the ask :) deadfire is also a great time if you havent gotten there yet 👀

rick and morty 6/10 spoilers / talk

i think like... a lot of this season was talking to the viewers as morty. Havent seen many people mention this aspect to it so I wanted to ramble lol I feel like most of season 6 was just set up yeah... people were saying how inconsistent the show was getting, and they decided to REALLY DRIVE IN CONSISTENCY bringing up old bits like sleepy gary and the butter robot. just a lot of the writers having fun yet also driving forward each character, as each character got their own ep this season directly, to add them all back to relevancy a bit more bc the show does, revolve around rick and morty. so it did that a little less this season

im all over the place here sorry lol I still need to recover from this last college semester lmao

ok so the main point i wanted to make, was in 'story train 2' aka the uh. the episode with Campbell that harmon DEFINITELY wrote. there's a point where rick points at the camera but is talking to morty and he was like 'youre what matters' to the camera aka the viewers. and the last scene in 6/10 reminded me of THAT. his ramble that he always does, the rick and morty 100 years rant, it was the writers talking to us, the viewers.

you wanted this. you wanted the dark backstory, you wanted the serialization and the focus on other character arcs. you wanted to see rick change. and here, now you get it all! you get what you wanted despite the warnings. idk I was baked when I saw the ep, I've gotta do a season rewatch and then a series rewatch again to trace it, but it felt DIRECT. that scene was the writers talking to the viewers. a lot of the season was, really? with the story cycle episode and jerrys internet famous arc 'when they start looking for shit to hate you for that's how you know you made it' yeah that feels like a harmon line for sure. i know there was a lot of internal conflict of what they wanted the show to be, but they seem pleased with what they settled on. this year alone harmon and roiland said that the show could easily go on for 1000 episodes. if one arc gets finished, if one UNIVERSE gets finished, they've created a setup that they can exhaust forever. they always wanted to be like the simpsons and tbh I hope they get a long run

but im VERY VERY excited theyre taking this turn, story wise, writers aside. its honestly the best way they've could have gone, I remember seeing the reveals and being like :] cus yeah. we got rick developing. we got rick regressing! we got to see more of the other characters, id say we got very nice storylines as well. i enjoyed it all a lot and I am very scared-excited for season 7. its interesting to see how many mixed reviews they get and how much bad writing criticism when I can literally trace their thought process for it... as this season showed rick trying to improve and grain mortys trust and respect, the writers were saying the same to the viewers. in a similar sense, as rick showed morty that he would always be rick and to watch what you wish for, the writers were doing the same. no more silly random adventures, were going full canon and you wanted this.

i feel i dont know the stampede characters personalities super well yet (since we havent had a lot of downtime to see them breath and just,,, ya know,,, exist as people not actively being traumitized)

i feel like stampede!meryl would have a response at first like we saw her having to the geoplant in episode 9 or 10 (cant remember which right now and cant check) where she has a moment of awe and curiosity. i feel she'd settle in fairly quickly into the new environment and maybe start trying to study it for reporter reasons. she'd probably love hearing the birds, but also would probably be slighlty scared by them (considering the birds we have seen in stampede have only been vulture types and those arent the friendliest introduction to birds)

this would be quickly contrasted by stampede!wolfwoods response where he'd be offput by it and not immedietely neccesarily trust that it is non-lethal. he'd probably be terrified by the fauna and most likely try to punch a deer or smth. idk stampede!wolfwoods kind of the hardest one for me to get a read of personality on for me because hes always either subdued or at 100% energy at any point. i feel like he wouldnt really be able to relax in an island like that, because hes so use to the adrenaline of his normal life. i imagine its difficult for him to unwind in general.

stampede!vash would probably get lost in the flora and fauna, most likely being drawn to the flowers (especially the red ones) and be sad because of it. he'd probably do his best to avoid harming any of the flora and fauna (and even feeling bad about stepping on grass because its so green and so alive,,) lowkey i feel he'd form a pack of random fauna too, like a snow white moment lmao

idk,, this is fun to think about im not the best at really pinpointing personalities tho. thank u for the thought experiment!!

Alright Fuckers! Heres a multishipAU I have in my mind for Yakuza

Disclaimer : this is an idea for an au meaning ages are different thw scenarios that play out are different dont come for me because this is all just for fun, if you dont like it the block button exists. if i get any info wrong about the games timelines and such ignore it ive only plaid Yakuza 0 and heard small bits of info from friends and online this isnt meant to be taken 100% seriously this is just a peak into how my gay ass likes to ship shit alright? alright...

Majima is with Sagawa for a while from age 20-30 almost ten years then they break up after majima gets tortured by the yakuza he leaves the yakuza for good afterwards. he becomes friends with benefits with Nishitani a bit of a relationship but not really.

Nishiki and Kiryu have been together since their teen years so when they hit 20 they start to wonder if their love was real or just a puppy love. they find out it was just that so they break up when theyre both 21.

Kiryu leaves the yakuza too discouraged to look for work feeling hopeless and thats when he meets Tachibana and they slowly fall in love. (oda isnt involved he can choke)

Nishiki leaves the Yakuza looking for work actively looking around he settles on the grand a caberet place and majima offers him a job as a waiter but nishiki looks at the ladies there and wants the same attention theyre getting he becomes a host and majima spoils him.

events of kiwami and kiwami 2 ? i think... happen Nishiki gets hurt and goes a bit cold and loses it as does Majima not as severe as he does canonically but it eventually happens...

Kiryu loses Tachibana . the relationships are slightly torn.. Nishiki sacrafices himself for Kiryu leaving only Kiryu and Majima left .

Majima gets worse after the loss of Nishiki,

After majima loses Nishiki he tries to commit suicide by his own katana but Kiryu stops him and majima slices off half of his hair in the process.

Kiryu holds him tells him hw knows what it's like to lose someone they love he lost tachibana he lost nishiki too not the same way majima did but he lost his brother .

So Majima falls for Kiryu and after he's recovered he cuts his hair and it a bit unhinged like his past lover Nishitani

But Kiryu is just happy his new lover is alive and well ... as well as he can be for someone who's lost many lovers and tried to take their own life .

He humours him acts like he doesnt like his advances and ridiculous ideas and it makes Majima laugh .

Hes do anything for the last bit of happiness in his life ✨️

if im throwing my anxiety out the window, id probably recommend super mario bros the original. if youve never played a video game, it would be really hard to get recommended something with a complex control scheme or unintuitive menuing and shit. so something with just a few buttons and an easy-to-understand goal is probably good for a starting point. im sure theres a lot of platformers like that.

i think difficulty options would be more doable. its important that games are accessible to people with disabilities that would prevent them from playing on whatever the base difficulty is.

im very easy to please. i remember being very disappointed by various kart racers in my youth though. at least, i played them once and did not play them again. there was an m&m branded kart racer for the wii, and also i found diddy kong racing for n64 to be too slow for my tastes. but also i was a child.

settled, the runescape guy who made the morytania-locked ultimate iron man account. i just recently rewatched his 12-hour video compilation of that. i literally came close to crying a couple times. its good.

so eyes in general are a very big motif in mortally coiled, both visually and narratively. pretty much any time eyes are mentioned or referenced is going to be something relevant lol

to answer your question quickly, null does NOT have eyes, nil DOES have eyes. the reason WHY I chose to do this is a lil more complicated!

put under a readmore because i have a lot to say about this

First of all, it should be noted that the Eternal Coil does not exist in the same physical dimensions as the Mortal Coil; the physical designs of the Big Three is less of how they ACTUALLY look and just. how they can be perceived by those in the Mortal Coil in the rare times there is contact between the two. Someone from the Mortal Coil cannot reasonably exist fully in the Eternal Coil in the same way the Big Three can't reasonably exist in the Mortal Coil. However, it is SLIGHTLY easier for an Eternal to be in the Mortal Coil compared to the reverse due to an ability to not be 100 percent physically present in the Mortal Coil.

What the three Eternals CAN do is, in the case of a mortal drifting closer to the border between the Mortal and Eternal Coil (not a physical border and "drift" is typically a random phenomenon that isn't consciously controlled, but it CAN technically be done intentionally if you know what youre doing. its just really REALLY hard and does not guarantee you audience with anyone anyways), those in the Eternal Coil can put out... a fishing line of consciousness. Practically only a fingernail's worth of their existence is held into the Mortal Coil. The mortal in question will see A Being, since that's what they expect to be communicating with. The designs are what a mortal would see in this circumstance, but that's just a teensy tiny fraction of the Eternal specifically for communicating with those in the Mortal Coil. It's kind of like when rehabs use puppets to feed orphaned condors so they don't imprint of humans. It's like the rattles on some snake's tail that look like spiders. It's like an angler lure that can move and talk and looks real because you literally cannot perceive the parts that make it not real

So Sar'kai might LOOK like they have eyes. They technically do NOT have eyes, since that's not Sar'Kai in the same way a strand of your hair is not you. At most, those are eye-spots.

skipping ahead a little, when what will become Null and Nil are split from Noxa Krav, they are both bundles of matter and energy with a sort of suggested shape they're trending towards; Sar'Kai's pseudo-body is how the mortal world perceives them, so that energy is going to want to be shaped that way. That's ALSO complicated but i'll refrain from going too in depth here since i havent gotten it 100 percent ironed out yet

but the GIST is that sar'kai is what Null and Nil would look like in a vacuum. However, they had external forces and influences when they physically settled. The settled mortal forms want to settle into a state that is natural, efficient, and suited for the environment they are in.

Nil's was relatively simple; the woods, on the surface. They hunted their food. Hence, the function their physical body was meant to achieve was pretty similar to how the Mortal world generally perceives Sar'Kai; destruction as death, destruction as the wilds, destruction as the hunt and the kill. Structure begets function.

Because of this, Nil ends up looking a LOT like Sar'Kai, with a small amount of variation for practicality (duller coloration, sharper nose-horn, retractable claws, more practical "wings," actual normal ears and eyes, head-plating extends down the back of the neck, etc). Nil is animal-like because Nil is in a more standard environment for an animal. That includes eyes, because those are useful for hunting things.

as a reference, here's a better view of the pic i used in the chart (originally from an animation i did a lil bit back, i just don't have a more recent drawing of nil. mostly because when i draw mortally coiled characters it's null 99 percent of the time whoops. i like drawing null a lot ok)

Null, on the other hand, had a widely different environment, and therefore had structures formed to serve widely different functions. Null was stabilized within an extremely deep cave with little to no other life. They were developed in a way that is not typical for the normal perception of Sar'kai; destruction as erosion, destruction as isolation, destruction as digging a big hole into something. Destruction as just breaking shit. Both Null's teeth and the nose-horn were reshaped to break solid stone like an ice-pick. The head-plating is covering the entire top of the head to protect from rock debris. Since they live in pitch-dark, they don't need eyes. It's kind of pointless to have eyes when you have never experienced light before. Instead, the grey parts on their face and on the fins along their head and down their back (the ones on their back replacing the pseudo-wings, since those would just get in the way otherwise) are patches of nerves and chemoreceptors super sensitive to sound, scent, heat, radiation, vibrations; pretty much everything EXCEPT for light. Which is why nil has eyes but null does not. Null didn't need eyes when stabilizing. nil did.

ALSO: some other random things that Null developed differently due to being in a cave is: gecko-like pads on their hands/feet to navigate vertically along cave walls / lack of stinger on tail because. it's not like they need to envenom rocks. theyre rocks / only three fingers/toes on each hand as a bare minimum to manipulate things / extremely sparse markings compared to nil and sar'kai due to being. you know. in the dark.

ALSO ALSO: i think i shouldn't have done that comparison of bo and nil to nil/noxa krav/sar'kai because it's different than that. bo isn't nil, nil didn't become bo; bo is the byproduct of nil's death meaning that there is still a significant amount of eternal-related energy swirling around in those waters. bo isn't nil so much as bo is what generation theory used to think happened with maggots and flies, how they spontaneously formed in rotting meat. there was just so much energy that bo just sort of... happened. he's just a little bit nil flavored because that's what the building blocks used to be

and FINALLY bo not having eyes has less to do with null and nil and more to do with a weird eye-thing undead characters have going on that is ALSO complicated and i won't be going into here to avoid going too far off topic lol. eyes mean a lot of different things with a lot of different characters

im so confused by this fs thing honestly i dont understand much of it at all, the dilemma is you mightve been ideal for them some time ago or had things panned out differently then you mightve already met them awhile ago but what if you dont feel ideal for anyone rn or at all? and how can a tarot reader be certain when answering someones qs about their fs? cause for those who do get the chance to meet their fs wont that just be fate anyway? as in they were supposed to meet there n then

cause i assumed thered be options yet i havent had the chance to date anyone like literally no ones asked me out so am i to assume that im undateable or unnaproachable? everyone has flaws but honestly i dont think dating would ever happen for me and therefore it doesnt matter if i dont date but i still have questions about fs as its an interesting topic.

It doesn’t matter how you view yourself most of the time. You cannot feel perfect and whole 100% of the time, that’s not what will stop you for meeting your fs. Also it’s not a question of being ideal… that’s not what fs is about, it’s a question of « purpose » and « need ».

How many couple are still together when, when they met they weren’t each other’s ideal type at first? Your fs (or yourself) can be your ideal type as time goes by and you’l’ learn to love yourself and themselves as well. Ex : Eunwoo’s fs may or may not be Eunwoo’s ideal type but it won’t stop him to love them and/or with time to consider his fs as his ideal type since they met and grew together.

As for Tarot, we say it like everyday and everytime. Tarot does not give set answers, it explains the present to predict the future. If you are in a bad mood today your choices you’d could be bad for you later (that’s what Tarot does most of the time). For Fs it’s similar, it gives insights for your fs but if with time you decide to stay single or to date someone else your fs will change. Either you won’t have one (if you want to stay single) or you’ll marry someone else (if you prefer to be with your current partner rather than waiting for your destined fs).

Just because no one came to ask you out means you are undatable. Try to look further than your nose. I never have been in a relationship though I have been asked out… should I assume that because of my decisions it’s maybe the Universe telling me that I am not meant to be in a relationship? I don’t think so. It could be because you have to focus on someone else (you or another person in term of romance), that you still have time to figure out what you really want and need in a partner or that you still have yet to glow up and find your own style and what makes you comfortable.

I am not the type to do make up lol (I am too lazy but I am in awe whenever I see good looking girls with their on fleek makeup on! I also don’t dress up fancy or trendy… I am very much a nextdoor type of girl lol. Always wearing somethings easy to wear and to move in with, comfortable. There are some times when I dress myself up with beautiful clothes and wear jewelry and do my eyeliner. It’s not often at all but I still have been asked out so trust me you do not have to feel undesirable, ugly or whatever. It doesn’t really matter in reality though appearance does matter… tell me. How many times have you seen (people you consider « ugly ») in a relationship? Beauty is seen through the eye of the one who sees it.

So 1. Don’t doubt your beauty right away. Or any aspects of yourself unless you are problematic.

2. Your fs is whoever you want (as long as it’s real and possible ex it won’t be a celeb if you never met a celeb or aren’t someone in the industry for ex).

3. If you have a destined fs, although you decided to settle with someone else, you’d still meet them. Normally you just won’t marry them after…

4. If you do not have a destined fs, why would you care? You can still be with whoever you want lol

5. A destined fs can be anybody (doesn’t matter where they are from etc.) but you’ll know it, you will just won’t understand it. But at the same time depending on your growth of each other either you’ll marry them or you’ll just learn your lessons (platonically or not) together then maybe move on from one another.

Moodboard made for my Cert 4 in Design (Graphic Design) class. Made with Adobe Indesign

So, doing a cert 4 in design (graphic design) and our first assessment was to make a mood board. This was my third attempt, and my other two were far too ambitious and chaotic. So, settled on this one. Very happy with how it turned out, though its not 100% finished yet. We have to add something hand drawn, which i havent done, because im not sure what to add. I'll probably put like, little hand drawn leaves or vines around the edges or something idk yet.

anyways, we're making them in indesign, which is the first time i've used it. I havent touched photoshop since it was CS2, so photoshop, indesign, illustrator, all new to me. I'm liking them, though they are so different from what im used to using. thankfully, the labs we're in have nice fancy new Macs and drawing tablets, so im picking it up quickly.

talked it out more with my partner and he also talked with his freinds that are polyamorous and what me n partner would do is exactly what they do. with very good communication. we still havent settled for that specifically yet cus its quite a bit to process, and ofc its just good to keep talking it out till we both feel 100% comfy with it. but yeah, mayhaps? i just wanna see him happy and be happy myself

Greed 100% has put himself in harms way for me, his shield makes it the firat thing that pops into his mind anytime something threatens me his first instinct is to curl around me and activate his carbon shield and hes super protective like hat. Theres actually a more direct example of him coming to my rescue with full shield up in my Fanfic Chimera’s Loyalty (link is in my pinned!) and it always makes me blush every time he does this for me hshshs.

So we havent really made an official announcement, but Greed is actually my Fiancé, not my boyfriend anymore. The scene in the fanfic is yet to be written but basically he stole an emerald ring with a gold bamd from a local jewler because he knows i love the colors green and gold (as well as my birthstone being an emerald) and then he kinda tossed the box with the ring in it towards me while I sat on the couch and he kinda just mumbled “yours” and inside the box was a ring with a scrap of paper that read “will you marry me?” He was really sheepish and quiet about it, the big nervous lug, and I happily accepted of course! We havent really settled on anything solid for the wedding because its kinda hard for a chimera and a homunculus to get married legally since technically neither of us have the papers for it, but we’re hoping to hold a small event just for the devil’s nest!
