For those who chose pile one, one lesson you will encounter will be in regards to you seemingly sitting on the sidelines in life. At one point, you may feel disconnected and apathetic about life; you may think, "what's the point of doing what I'm doing if I'm not seeing any results for it." You may have been resisting a transition period in your life for as long as possible, and in 2024 that won't be allowed anymore. Saying "no" to happiness will not be an option; you will be thrown into tackling your anger, former traumas, apathy about life, etc. head on. The only real thing you can decide at this point is whether or not you're going to plan for it now that you know it's coming or allow life to take you through it however ough that may be.

You will be pushed to be competitive about what it is you want. There may be a lot of conflict, and you may even feel jealous of others at one point; you may think, "why is it that my growth and transition is so much harder compared to everyone else's?". There may even be a point during the year where you feel as if you're guides or the universe or whoever/whatever you believe in isn't listening to you, but the truth is everyone experiences growing pains, and you have to figure out how to persevere and get over your fears the same way everyone else does. As stated before, refusing to grow and transition is not an option, but your attitude as you experience it is a choice you make; you can make it easier or harder on yourself by having an open mind.

This year, you will be going from being a turtle to a tiger. You will no longer be allowed to take your time in regards to things in your life that are keeping you from growing into someone who is healthier and happier: mentally, physically, emotionally, and everywhere else. You will be stepping into your own power and your attitude will determine if you step into it gracefully or not. Overall, your lesson will be in learning how to free yourself from your own chains.

You still need to put in work and go about life and strive to achieve what it is you want - in relationships, friendships, work, your daily life, and more, but you also need to be willing to let people and things go when the universe tells you they’re no longer serving or helping you. I thought I'd redo my intro post and this time make it ✨pretty✨

I'm Cat [she/her | aroace] and I write sci-fi and fantasy with a dose of cosmic horror. I love mixing genres and general experimentation. Whether my work is marketable or not is less important than having fun. My absolute favorite things are found family, robots, and time travel, and I am a firm believer that platonic relationships can be just as fierce and important as romantic ones. Most of my novels are set within a shared universe I call the Starfish Saga and that's my main focus, though I do have quite a few exciting projects outside that.

I am quite shy but love making new writer friends and am open to tag games and ask games and other sorts of writerly socialization.

I haven't gotten a ton of nicknames that I've liked, bc usually nicknames are based off of your 'real' name and I'm closeted to most people I know irl, but one of my friends nicknamed me Emsy, and some of my friends used to call me Mouse in middle school bc I was a very wide-eyed and confused child. but I do really like nicknames when I get them :]

7: an excerpt from your funniest, weirdest, or worst essay from middle school or high school

okay so freshman year of high school, we read romeo and juliet, and i had read it before but not in an academic context and so when my teacher said we were going to write an argumentative essay on which character was to blame for the whole... situation, i was like. no. that's not the point. so i very spitefully wrote an essay that i ended up getting an A on, which was cool because it very much did not fit the prompt. here's the intro:

Placing the blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet has been debated for centuries. Their tragic fate leaves the audience wondering: who was most at fault? Can the blame even be fairly shifted onto only one person? In the play Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, two people become infatuated with each other, but their families have an ongoing feud that limits their relationship. Many characters have expectations set for the two, whether those expectations be that they should be enemies or that their love will fix the feud. They eventually take their lives as the result of a misunderstanding. However, it is clear that Romeo and Juliet’s deaths are ultimately caused by the toxic society and surroundings their own families helped create, and the arbitrary laws of society that their families enforced.

idk, i just think it's funny that younger me was like, i don't want to do this. i'm not gonna blame one character, that's not the point of the story. fuck society.

13: something you really want someone to ask you about

i could literally talk at you forever about my oc insert hunger games fic, the first part and the second part (wip) (i have three parts planned) are currently almost 46000 words and the main character is the closest thing i will ever have to a child. i've decided i'm gonna post the first chapter of it on ao3 in a few days and then figure out a regular update schedule after stuff gets straightened out (i'm moving), but if you ever want to get distracted send me an ask about literally any of it

While I started following you for other stuff your Minecraft posts have made me curious about mcyt.

I don't know where to begin though, I don't really know any of the YouTube channels or series (it's a different series each server right?)

What would you recommend for a newbie to mcyt?

If it helps I know some of the basics about Minecraft (nothing more complex than redstone) and the people you post about seem to be really nice and have a fun group dynamic?

OK ANON I'm so sorry I've had this in my inbox for like 2 weeks bc I wanted to do it justice but I've started drinking and am putting off going strip mining for sand on my minecraft server so instead you get my QUICK AND DIRTY INTRO. And by quick and dirty I mean I'm going to ramble for a WHILE so I'm putting this under a cut. I'm sorry if this is a lot. I'm so sorry.

Okay so like... there are single-player series that some people will do, then there are SMPs (Survival MultiPlayer servers). Some of these are only or majority just streamed and you have to watch VODs or unofficial clip collections to get the content, and others are only or majority only edited videos, and others are a more even mix. I'm going to describe a few of the ones I like, and those should be good jumping off points into other content, if you find a creator you like.

The Life Series is, per my wife, the best thing to start with because it's short, contained, and has a clear start and end. It's a sort of a collection of short seasons, spearheaded by content creator Grian, where basically there's an SMP server and a gimmick where he and like 12-15 of his friends play minecraft in a VERY small map and try to be the last one alive, with a new gimmick and set of rules every season. The first season, 3rd Life, basically was just "you get three lives, and after that if you die you're out, plus if you're on your last life, you go from just trying to play the game to having the intent and permission to HUNT AND KILL the other players", and it got more complex and interesting and homoerotic from there. (side note: mcyt gets intensely and INTENTIONALLY homoerotic sometimes. This seems to be a universal constant bc I've noticed it in basically every series I've watched regardless of who's involved. You either love it, learn to love it or... idk leave?) I highly suggest Grian's own POV of 3rd Life (season 1) as a starting point, followed by BDoubleO100 (aka Bdubs) in Last Life (season 2), and Jimmy SolidarityGaming in Double Life (season 3), and then branching out to anyone who you think seems interesting or who you get attached to. (This is a universal suggestion for all series, btw.)

Dream SMP is one of the big ones, it was an SMP server started by minecrafter DreamWasTaken that went from "chill server to play with my friends" to "quasi-improvised RP storylines and lore" kind of overnight. It is hellish to get into, see the ask i literally just answered before this one to see a highlight of why and some recs if you're interested in it. High key DO NOT RECOMMEND for a newbie tbh, just due to how confusing/difficult it is to get into, but ymmv. I have no advice beyond "Watch SAD-ist animations and Technoblade Videos" for getting into dream smp.

Hermitcraft is basically the longest-running SMP on youtube afaik - last year was their 10 year anniversary. It's mostly not heavy on lore or RP, it's just some particularly skilled minecrafters in the area of building and/or redstone who come together to build awesome things. They reset to a new world seed every year or so (tho season 9, the current world, looks to probably be more of a 2-year world like season 6, considering we're already a year into it and no one is REMOTELY done with their plans.) The Hermits include some of the older widely-known minecrafters who are still actively on youtube, the redstoners legit MADE redstone as you know it, hello Ethoslab with the Etho Clock and april fool's Etho Slab) with a lot of married adults with kids, and they're a lot of fun and relatively easy to get into in my opinion. Some of the Hermits stream, but the majority content I consume is their edited videos. Mostly Hermitcraft videos are about building gorgeous structures and/or redstone, and a bit of messing around with your friends. It's fun for shenanigans and seeing people build truly amazing things If you're interested, I stand firmly by my suggestion that the best jumping on point is Grian's Season 8 series. Season 8 was extra short compared to most seasons, and Grian is a fun, funny, and accessible creator. Plus this was the first season they had proximity voice chat, and it was REVOLUTIONARY for the ease of collaboration on the server, and led to a lot of amazing moments.

Empires SMP is much heavier on the roleplaying than Hermitcraft, but is full of gorgeous builds and fun lore concepts. All the creators are the leaders of their own kingdom/empire/etc and they build to that theme. I have no idea what to even suggest you start with in Empires as I've not watched nearly enough, but they're all pretty good.

There are a bunch of other SMPs (short-term heavy RP server Rats SMP was adorable, and involved the players RPing as lil rats, and doing quests and avoiding humans and stuff in a big manor house. Outsiders SMP i hear good things about but I've never watched, also a heavy RP server.) and then creators often have singleplayer worlds that they do video series of. Philza (also spelled Ph1LzA) streams multiple times a week for hours at a time from his long-running hardcore world (aka a world where if you die, that's it that's the game, no respawning), and builds absolutely amazing gorgeous builds. BUT he can be a little hard to get into due to the length of his VODs.

And frankly if I didn't plug Technoblade's content in this post I would be doing a disservice to mah boy. Techno was a creator who did a lot of silly videos of him playing PvP or messing around with his friends or participating in tournaments and stuff, and was smart and funny and deadpan and legit one of the best minecraft PvPers, and he died last summer of sarcoma and he is deeply deeply missed. BUT his videos are a serious comfort watch for me. His channel has a playlist of, quote, "actually good content", and while I enjoy a number that aren't on that playlist, it's actually a very good starting point.

...Actually no, start with the potato war, with Techno. The potato war is Techno at his MOST TECHNO and if you don't enjoy them he's probably not the creator for you.

1. what was the first part of your WIP that you created?

the main character. fun fact: atticus wasn't even called atticus! his name was supposed to be 'calyx,' and before that, it was 'leto'! this wip has been going for almost three years, and i am very dedicated to make atticus- calyx - or leto- get the story he deserves. being the very first idea that sprang into my mind, he still remains as my favorite, and the very first thing that formed the basis of beneath the waves, since his backstory and his emotions form the majority of the wip.

2. if your story was a TV show, what would the intro song be?

hole dwelling by kikuo!! this song has EVERYTHING. the music crescendo, the scream (oh my god the scream), the lyrics eerily similar to the ideas in my wip, the soft voice, everythingggg!!!!! the lyrics remind me of my worldbuilding ['the sun, the sky, the moon- so vibrant, all of them'] AND ITS 6 MINUTES LONG. SIX. MINUTES. OF PURE BLISS!!!!!!! especially with headphones omg also the fact that the lyrics can be interpreted as anything just makes it so much fun to listen to. i take it as talking about a literal void in which people are trapped. which. which is basically

atticus :D he was the first 'serious' or 'story-based' character i made, and i had further plans for him, too. all the characters i made pre-beneath the waves had no further plans for development, or they weren't unique enough, or just made solely for the YA market (young girls, skinny, magic powers). atticus, or leto, at that time, was made purely for me, and from my own ideas. leto was used as a sort of practice for my short stories. then, leto became calyx- a character, not an entity. from there, i got the idea of an abyss. everything spiraled from there lmao

4. what other pieces of media could share a fan base with your WIP?

i got the idea of 'changing the laws of the universe' and 'interacting with the divine'-- yknow, all of those otherworldly aspects from puella magi madoka magica, a magical girl anime, childish from the start, mature at the end. it had a lot of those otherworldly elements, and i find myself leaning to the concepts explored in pmmm whenever i work on Heavenly. if the pmmm fandom somehow stumbles on beneath the waves in the future i have no idea how it'll end. theres a small chance of heavenly and pmmm sharing a fan-base, if i understood the question correctly.

5. what has been your biggest struggle while writing your WIP?

figuring out how atticus develops!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! figuring out where i should end this story!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! figuring out how atticus's life is gonna go from there!!!!!!!!!!!!!! figuring out how to write tbh

6. are there any animals in your story?

if you take the mariana trench and dump all of its animals into the abyss but corrupt them by taking out an eye or two for an exchange of more teeth and install fantasy elements, yeah you get the abyss's animals. there's also my own species of carnivorous fish that reside in the abyss. my customized fish species play a huge role in the story. those are spoilers (for now).

8. What part of your WIP are you working on right now?

if we hypothetically take the lore, the characters, the inner workings of the plot, the events, the nitty-gritty details and backstories as the engines of the car and the plot as the outer plating and wheels, i've created a mercedes (without the wheels)

i don't know 😭😭😭 uhh the lore-lovers will like it. i hope some theorist will pick it up one day and wonder if the author is okay

My Purpose

Hi there! I've rejoined Tumblr for the first time in several years, so I figured I'd make a post to explain what I'm doing here, what I'm all about, and a little bit of what to expect while I figure out exactly what this blog is going to be. Feel free to read or not, I don't own you!

First I'll introduce myself. I'm Alexis, but feel free to call me Ally or Alex or Lexi or whatever. If you don't wanna call me by my first name, Near and Fresh are both fine too. I'm 23, from Ireland, my pronouns are she/they, I write, this stuff is in my about page so I'll mostly gloss over it.

Interests include allsorts, like Devil May Cry, Treasure Planet, Edgar Wright films, Kameo: Elements of Power, Beyond Good & Evil (the video game not the Nietzsche book), philosophy stuff in general, film in general, A Series of Unfortunate Events, the tv show You, and loads more that aren't coming to mind right now. I'm a well rounded lady.

As a writer I mainly do long-form fiction, but occasionally short fictional stories inspired by real events or emotions I wanna sort. My long-term goal is to get into investigative journalism, and maybe end up teaching philosophy or journalism in university. I'm also currently planning and writing a fantasy series from the perspective of a young adult coming into their own, realising they live within a broken system, and all the philosophical and political transitions that come along with that. It's heavily inspired by my own real life political journey, as well as my journey figuring myself out in the world as a nonbinary trans woman. No announcements yet regarding names or anything, but hopefully we'll see that soon! Maybe I'll even post some excerpts and character profiles, but I might make a separate blog for writing and put stuff there. Who knows! Figuring it out as we go!

I am currently working as a supervisor in a tech retail shop, and I take editing commissions on the side. I'll proofread any written pieces you've got. I specialise in stories and essays, but I have also looked at poetry and scripts for video essays and short films. Rates are negotiable, quick turnaround, with references available upon request. I also occasionally stream on twitch under the name nearisfresh, but that's not really a job so much as a very infrequent hobby.

In general I try to be a fairly chill and friendly person. Always feel free to shoot me a message or an ask if you wanna get in touch or chat. Zach!! He's my first ever whump OC and also, I love him cuz he sucks so much <2 my favorite OC with problems :D He's appeared in this drabble which you could read. if you want. it's a little old I'm prolly never gonna continue it so

Zach has like, three main traits I would say? Overwhelming arrogance, yet also deep rooted self loathing. An extreme reluctance to make friends or any meaningful connection. And boredom. So, so much boredom.

Pretty much he had a kinda shit childhood. Manipulative parents + a pervasive feeling of otherness growing up kinda turned him off from desiring any sort of meaningful connection because whenever he was vulnerable, it was used against him. Also he developed a lot of self loathing issues, and to cope with that he leaned into ego. He's not better than anyone else, in fact he's rotten to the core, but he's the only one who sees the world as it really is, in his mind.

And the world is not only cruel and selfish, but it is deeply, utterly, boring. And Zach truly thinks he's tried everything (he hasn't), and nothing is fun to him. Nothing has brought him joy. I will say tho, he is the type of guy to try a new hobby and give up when he isn't amazing first try. Zach also has a lot of overconfidence in his prediction skills- and he's not right 100% of the time, but he's right enough of the time that he believes his prediction ability is practically infallible, and he takes that as further proof that everything is too boring and predictable.

Most of the time he's looking for something new to do, for temporary excitement or serotonin. The thing is, he's quite callous, and he doesn't really care about people or their happiness. He's a bit nihilistic, he thinks that whatever he does, it doesn't really matter in the end because everyone will be dead, eventually, and the universe will move on like nothing happened.

And then that's how he decided that becoming a villain might be fun to try. So he decided to start by majorly fucking with a random person of his choice! That person was Tào Lan, and her friends, Grace, Amir, and Declan. They formed a vigilante group, so Zach thought it would be fun to mess with them.

He started by like, kidnapping Declan and sending a letter and a videotape to the group like "hey I kidnapped your friend, if you don't rescue him by this date, I'll kill him!"

From then on, he had like a couple skirmishes with the group as they tried to rescue Declan and defeat him. First one was at an abandoned warehouse, and he set it on fire with everyone inside, and Amir ended up dying in that. Which was extremely traumatizing for Lan and Grace. To the point that neither of them could organize another rescue attempt. They tried, but most of their attempts ending up being fruitless very early on.

And then the date passed, and they got a picture in the mail of Declan's corpse.

That made Lan and Grace decide that they had to do something immediately. They were gonna kill Zach, for everything he'd done. But that fight didn't exactly go well, as it ended in Grace's demise.

Which only left Lan. And she used to be happy, you know? She had her best friends with her, and she felt like she could do anything with them at her side. But now she felt horribly empty and hopeless, though she was learning that she could do still anything, in their memory.

Once she recuperated physically from her last fight, she was determined to finally kill Zach. And this time, she succeeded.

Well, almost. At the last minute, she changed her plans. She wasn't going to kill him, but she was going to make him regret being alive.

Zach planned for a lot of things, but he didn't exactly plan for being tortured. He didn't think Lan would go that far! But she did, and he suffered for it. He was suffocatingly trapped in a cycle of suffering, and no matter what, Lan just wouldn't let him die. He knew he'd die eventually, but it was taking too long-

And then someone saved him. An old classmate, Erika Sanchez, found him and got him out of the abandoned prison he was being held captive in. And now he's crashing at her house :) She doesn't know about his crimes, and he's not about to tell her. There's a bit of an angsty half recovery arc <2

Just a little introduction, and some rules along with it~! ^^

Hello~! My name is Brianna but you may call me Bree~ I like to write stories, and create my own characters and such- It's what makes me happy~! And I love when I get to act like my OCs and interact with people! So, I created this blog~! (Sorry this post is quite long so be ready to read-)

To start out this blog, I have 7 OCs I will be making introductions for, so you can find out some about them, and interact with asks!

Kyoko Komori (DL) ((OC based off the anime. Though I've heard plenty about the games, I have not yet played them, so if I get some things wrong I apologize in advance.))With Kyoko everything is the same. Yui has Cordelias heart and such and was supposed to be sent to the brothers. However, in this universe, Yui has an older sister, one year apart, whom has also been adopted, except she knows it. When she overhears something about her younger sister, her only sister, being sent away to vampires, she decides to take her place. To protect her.

Alyssa Freeman (MHA) ((I have not watched the entirety of MHA yet, and really I don't plan too anytime soon. So if I get anything wrong please correct me, and spoilers to the anime for me are welcomed. Let's just act like I've seen it all-)) Alyssa hates villains. And heros for that matter. All of them. When her apartment was destroyed from a casualty in a battle, Alyassa labeled heros as reckless and careless of the people around them. Herself and her little brother where heading back to the apartment, when she saw it crumbling down. Her parents and grandparents still inside, along with her best friend who was going to surprise Alyssa with a visit. Now she lives on the streets, doing whatever she can to provide for herself and her little brother.

Ongaku Yamada Aizawa (MHA) ((Again, haven't seen it, let's just pretend I have. Also this OC is in result of a ship. I don't really ship it, but I thought both their powers together would be cool so I thought, why not?)) When Ongaku was young, she was always bullied in 1st and 2nd grade for having two dads. One time, she got in trouble for heavily injuring a student with her voice quirk. You can insult her all you want, but not her dads. So, in 3rd grade, she kept a lie she created, that she only has one dad, Erasure Head Shota Aizawa, and that her mother died when she was born. Turns out the lie worked pretty well, people loved her and she was seen as an icon for having a prohero as a father. Shes was usually a quiet person, kept to herself, no friends, only spoke when spoken too. It was just her, her drawings and her music in her headphones. To this day, she keeps the lie, and keeps her distance, even at her new school, in U.A. (She also develops a major crush on Tenya Iida while there.👀)

Lilly and Lila Sakamaki (DL) ((Just thought I'd make one description for both bc they're twin sisters. This is also result of a ship. Ayato x Yui.)) Lilly and Lila are polar opposites despite their similar looks. Lila loves the cutesy, pink, flower stuff, and Lilly is all "tough" and "all that" (When shes really insecure-) Lilly is extremely protective over her sister, and possive too. She doesn't let any man even glance in her general direction. Basically if a man wants to ask Lila out, hes gonna have to go through some interrogation. Lila loves her sister deeply, and is basically like her sisters personal therapist. Lilly will only vent and show emotion around Lila. Lila tries to get her sister Lilly into pink, but with no prevail. Typically, you'll find Lilly hanging out with "Uncle Reiji", for she has a secret interest in his experiments and such. She'll also cuddle with Uncle Shu whenever she has time. And Lila loves hanging out with Uncle Kanato and Uncle Laito. She'll have tea partys with Kanato all the time. Lilly always tries to get Lila away from Laito. She says he's "demented" and "weird". But, Lila doesn't listen and hangs out with him anyway. Laito and Kanatos typical nickname for Lila is, Lilac or Little Flower. Both twins are vampires. Yui always teaches them about God and how to be selfless and kind, while Ayato plays sports with Lilly and cute video games (like Animal Crossing) with Lila.

Arabella Phantomhive (BB) ((This OC is placed in the future, and based off a ship, Ciel X Lizzy. Please be aware that, even though my OC speaks multiple languages, I do NOT. So, as bad as it sounds, I'll probably use Google Translate if I must use another language-😅 ) When Ciel and Lizzy are older and married, they have a little girl. Half human. Half demon. Arabella was taught how to be a lady, ballet, and sword fighting by her mother. And she was taught chess, ballroom dancing and more sword fighting by her father. Instead of going to a school, little Ara was homeschooled, by Sebastian, the Phantomhive Butler. He taught her multiple languages, such as Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, and her personal favorite, French. Time skip to the age of 10, she saw her mother murdered before her, and her father taken by some strange light beings. Having been raised by Sebastian since then, now she's 17, running the Funtom company, and determined to avenge her mother and find her father. :)

Robert Trancy (BB) ((This OC correlates with the Arabella OC, and is in the same storyline.)) Robert J. Trancy was his sweet Arabellas betrothed since birth. Even though it is set to be an arranged marriage, Robert always had a crush on his Arabella, and was awaiting the day to marry his beloved. Robert is a sensitive and kind boy, but sarcastic and joking all the same having been raised by Alois Trancy. He has no idea of whom his mother is, and was always told she died when he was born. At the age of 6, it was at a party when he saw his father dead on the floor of the long corridor. He didn't exactly see his fathers death, but he heard it, and knew exactly who did it. Ciel Phantomhive. He was determined to make his revenge. Having made a contract with Claude, his fathers old butler, he now lives alone in the manor, sending all the old servants away, except Claude. He makes frequent visits to his sweet Blue Rose however. He's a very insecure boy, full of anger, bitterness, jealousy, and sadness, but hides it well behind humor and love for his bride-to-be.

Favorite character: Ralph

Least Favorite character: Dr. Yuri Nal from Rampage Through Time. He’s got a really annoying voice and he doesn’t really do much in the story after the intro.

5 Favorite ships (canon or non-canon): Well, there isn’t much in the way of canon ships. Some of the loading screens in the original arcade game suggest the monsters were married prior to transformation, but later games don’t have any mention of that. I generally don’t ship most of the characters myself either, though maybe interactions with other muses could lead to shipping under special circumstances.

Character I find most attractive: If this were many years ago, I would dump about my fan crush on Ralph. I mean his human form is really all over the place depending on the game, so it wasn’t that creepy. I still managed to pick a sort of silver fox faceclaim for Ralph out of that old torch. XD

Character I would marry: Probably none of them because the monsters are a threat when not in human form and their transformations seem to be pretty random.

Character I would be best friends with: Probably Dr. Betty Veronica from Rampage World Tour. She’s the least likely to try to harm me and she seems like she’s the only one who has any good sense.

a random thought: I would like for there to be a new game in the series that isn’t based on the film.

An unpopular opinion: A lot of people just saw the Rampage games as mindless button mashing and they are to a certain degree. However, the developers of the various games put in a lot of effort into making the game world feel alive with humans doing stuff in the background and in the buildings, as well some supernatural elements. Plus the few humans in cutscenes did show more personality as the games went on. I think there’s a lot of story potential to be explored.

My Canon OTP: Don’t have one.

My Non-canon OTP: Ditto.

Most Badass Character: Dr. Betty Veronica. By the end of Rampage World Tour, she realizes that it’s up to her to try to take down the Wrecking Crew. She flies a spaceship to the moon and tries to shrink them into oblivion. While it doesn’t work out the way she expected, she still did have the courage to try something nobody else did and it did stop the rampaging for a time.

Most Epic Villain: This is going to be a tie between Eustace DeMonic from Rampage World Tour and Dr. Vector from Rampage Total Destruction. Eustace is an absolute madlad, making giant monster clones of himself to combat the Wrecking Crew and possibly planning world domination with the help of demonic forces. Dr. Vector is more of the classic mad scientist type, piloting a variety of assault vehicles to attack the monsters and he has the balls to verbally mock them.

Pairing I am not a fan of: I don’t think the monsters really have much attraction towards each other, mostly because they’re all completely different species. Maybe it might be different if they found other monsters of the same or similar species.

Character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): While I was happy that George got actual voice lines in Rampage Total Destruction, it sucks that they made him some random goofball instead of a scientist or lab technician like he was in previous games.

Favourite Friendship: The Wrecking Crew. They may beat each other up, but it’s more like siblings roughhousing. It’s clear they have a really strong bond in most of the games from shared trauma and even shared missions: most often fuck up ScumLabs and leave no captured monster behind.

Character I most identify with: Well, it’s a mix of the Wrecking Crew and Dr. Betty Veronica. I hate the sort of corruption and destruction caused by big corporations and would like to stop them. At the same time, I also find myself stuck watching chaos while my reasonable ideas and concerns often go ignored.

Character I wish I could be: Really, I wouldn’t want to be any of the characters. The Rampage game universe may be fun to play in, but it would be constant horror and tragedy to live in.

she was born & raised in new york city .

she is the youngest of three & became quite the tomboy in everything she did , even though her mother tried to impose femininity in her life - from girly dresses to expensive barbies , she never cared for that . ( also the reason as to why she goes by charlie now . charlotte was far too serious & presumptuous , sounded like it came straight from a gossip girl character . )

she learnt that she was supposed to set example for all the kids in the playground & kindergarten - she never really understood why , but then she used to do , say & act the way her parents told her to , never questioning .

the pressure to be perfect would break her any second .

& it did , at the age of fifteen , to be exact . accompanied by a panic attack & a bike fall that scraped both knees and tore her pink dress off the shoulder .

she cried for five hours , slept for two days straight & didn't leave her bedroom for a week .

she couldn't be their perfect daughter any longer ; no more fake smiles , pink dresses & hand picked boys to date .

high school is a mix of ups and downs , mostly downs .

the pressure coming from her parents didn't wave upon her rebelling , hell - it only got worse .

she fell into the wrong crowd after her breakdown , started to drink & using drugs to keep her anxiety at minimum ( or at least , to forget about what triggered it ) , & with that , her grades took a huge dive , going from straight a's to barely graduating .

she knows her parents expect nothing less than excellency from her , knows the dreams they have for her , & knows that her going to a university and getting a degree is unquestionable to them , but she is going to dodge their plans for her as much as she can .

she wants to own her life , not be a mere spectator .

she hasn't had many real / serious relationships & kind of likes girls , will hook up with boys on occasion .

she has been going through a self-destructive mode ever since her breakdown . catch her sneaking through her bedroom window in the early hours drunk as hell , destroying her own body with drugs that makes her temporarily happy , ruining any relationships she has ever come close to having , skipping tests & missing family dinners .
