These were the concept pages I drew for my original writer in the @vashwoodbigbang event! Unfortunately they have disappeared on me 😅 and also bc god hates me I guess, the day I was supposed to post these, yesterday, saw me dealing with first a wifi outage and then a whole electricity outage so. That was fun lmao

Details about the drawings below since. I don't know if my writer will ever post the story, unfortunately 😔

So this was originally coined as a stardust au! I believe it was primarily based on the movie that came out in the 2000s (?), though I believe my writer was familiar with both the movie and the book it was based on. Honestly, it doesn't pull much at all from the story itself, just the general concepts of stars.

In this version, Vash is a star, and he decides to try and find his long-lost siblings (Knives and Tessla). In his search, he comes across a planet he hasn't visited before, and while he's descending to it, he's shot down by something mysterious that causes him rather permanent injury (not new; I believe he'd already lost his arm previously and he has all his scarring from travels to previous planets, this specific technology is just new to him).

He manages to crawl some distance from the resulting crater and is rescued by the odd pair of anthropologist Milly and journalist Meryl, who are tracking fallen stars on their planet in order to research them. Vash is horrified to learn that stars on this planet are rather brutally searched for and used for their power, so he tries his best to keep his real identity as a star secret.

In the next town, he learns about Star Cultists, who are the leading experts on stars. Our dear Wolfwood is one of them, and though he's a priest under the head of Chapel, he seems pretty jaded about the whole thing. He also spends some time poking fun at their visitor Vash when he stumbles on the doorstep of the church.

Unbeknownst to all, Chapel is the one who shot Vash down, and he suspects Vash is his target. When Vash, Milly, and Meryl skip town, Wolfwood is ordered to tag along with them against his will, and he begrudgingly forces himself into the group with his usual grace lol.

Through some shenanigans, including an interesting fight with Livio/Razlo who is a martyr (a human who ate at least part of a star and became consumed by it), the group all grows closer to each other. Naturally, Wolfwood and Vash hit it off with their usual ideology clashing and homoerotic team fighting. The tension comes to a head when both of the boys are drunk and attempting to stumble somewhere after getting kicked out of the bar, and with the help of liquid courage, Wolfwood admits to Vash that he's what's known as a "Star Eater:" a human that has consumed part of a star, and by some genetic luck, isn't consumed by it and instead gains some superhuman abilities so long as the magical tattoo (i forget what it's called off the top of my head fuck) that forms around the presenting star isn't broken.

Vash is understandably horrified. Wolfwood is confused by Vash's rejection bc he isn't aware Vash is a star; he's under the impression Vash is just some very talented guy Chapel really wants to feed a star shard in the hopes he becomes part of their superhuman cult.

Vash sobers up and manages to drag a very drunk and eepy Wolfwood to their hotel.

The next day is the turning point; the star cultists, including Chapel, catch up to them and confront Vash. Wolfwood has to learn very quickly that he'd been Wrong and Vash, in his panic, flies to where it feels most safe; the city's Star (storage area?? Idk). He ends up cornered there and, in his panic, accidentally goes nuclear trying to escape and blows up half the city in a column of flame. While he's barreling across the desert in an attempt to get away, he's trapped by a net the star cultists set up, made of the same shit used to shoot him down at the start, and he can't escape it on his own.

Luckily he's found by Wolfwood first, who's decided he owes it to Vash to try and fix his fuck up, and using his superhuman healing, he manages to free Vash. Both are exhausted and ultimately rescued by LR, who's been tailing them.

Tbh my memory's kinda foggy... my writer only managed to share up to that first LR fight, so I don't remember exactly what's supposed to happen between here and the fight at the orphanage?? I remember Vash somehow finds out what happened to his siblings (a hella long time ago, Tessla was consumed by the people of the planet and Knives, in his rage, fuckin just annihilated everything, turning it into a desert planet, and has been laying dormant for the most part since then) and also we learn that martyrs gain better control of themselves, and the crystal growth consuming them stops, when in proximity to enough additional star power. Vash, as a star himself, allows LR to easily think as they did before they ate a star shard when in close enough proximity.

Anyway, fight for the orphanage, Vash shows up in time to see Wolfwood getting his shit rocked and his magical tattoo (I'm so annoyed I can't remember what it's called. My mind is supplying sharingan and i know that aint it) shattered by Chapel, who accomplishes this by running Wolfwood through with his cane. Vash, believing Wolfwood's dead (bc like. Lmao it's pretty hard to live getting impaled, like, fully), loses his temper and basically obliterates Chapel. He moves on from Wolfwood's body to try and dismantle the entire Star church so Wolfwood's orphanage can stay safe. In this process, he confronts a Doctor Conrad, who was behind the whole thing, the remains of Tessla, and somehow Knives?? I think Knives, sensing Vash's anguish, just tried to fuckin nuke everyone, and Vash stops that. I feel like Knives dies in this process somehow... I think it was by saving Vash from something Conrad made??

By the end of it, Vash is wounded and exhausted, and ends up being saved by Milly and Meryl, I think.

When he recovers, it's to find he's lost his ability to leave the planet; while still functionally a star, his power has greatly diminished, his hair is black, and he can't even hide his wings anymore. Last I knew, my writer was actually merciful and let Wolfwood live! Albeit as a martyr (thus the wolf form with the uncontrolled star shard bursting out of the hole in his chest you can see on Wolfwood's page lol). Luckily he's got Vash around, so he gets to keep his mind, if not his human form.

With Knives dead and the star cultists mostly dispersed and no longer able to fuck with the planet, the story ends with our characters getting to experience rainfall on the planet for the first time in centuries.

I like the story :P I imagine it'd be a lot better written out in actual novel form by the person who'd actually thought it up than my shitass, too-long summary lol.

Honestly my writer was communicating up until like, a month ago?? And then they just.... disappeared :/ which is weird bc I checked with my mod for this event (shout out to mod sana, @pushclouds, you're an amazing mod and I appreciate the heck out of you) and they submitted literally every check-in. Honestly I'm more worried for them than anything, if anyone knows what happened to @lohikaar I'd appreciate anything you can tell me. I hope they'll publish this story whenever they can, I'd still love to read it in its entirety.

Also they did assign me a pinch hitter writer since we have no idea wtf happened to my original writer, so I'll be doing more drawings :D priellan agreed to beta for them too, which I'm super happy about! And thanks again to mod sana for your hard work and arranging that so quickly!

An admittedly strange first big bang experience, but I don't think it was overall bad, and I'm excited to work on more stuff with my new writer :D if you read this far goddamn. Thanks lol. See you again for sure on January 1st! (I'll try to post other shit between then and now hopefully)

I posted the sketch yesterday, I finished in the same day, took me like 4 hours.. which is about average for my art...

And well.. it didn't turn out exactly the way I wanted and there are some things I wish I did differently (namely the eyes being just a bit too harsh.. wish I did them in brown and not the dark purple..) but overall, I like how it turned out..

I tried a new painting technique the wet on wet method.. well in the beginning.. and I quite like it. I used both gouache and watercolors...I will 100% be doing rim lighting again.. it gives an ethereal quality and I looove that tbh..

And ofc being an overexcited dumbass forgot to tape down my piece initially so it warped.. but I taped it down shortly after and it's less um.. crazy looking now..

And idk why... but painting his ass was the funnest part lol.... I used many different colours in his skintone.. mainly purples, oranges, browns, yellows and hints of blue.. And it really stands out on that one cheek closest to the viewer.. I may have accidentally made it the focal point... unintentional, I swear,😅

Admittedly my shading is still absolutely shit.. making a note to practice that.. the light source and shadow placement doesn't make a whole lot of sense.. but it still looks alright I think..

Lmao I'll talk your ear off if you let me, be warned 🤭

So if it's Shisui you're looking for (not hard when it comes to me 🥴)... I get a lot of ideas, not all of them are more than an errant though, so I like to write them all down in this massive bulletpoint list of ideas. Most of these will never see the light of day (or AO3) so I have no worries about spilling the details on one of them! So, if anyone gets fiendishly attached...rip to you 😅 it's only written out with a vague chapter plan but oh well~

So this is another Time Travel Fic where, as soon as Shisui awakens his Mangekyou at 8 years old, he freaks the fuck out and accidentally activates it whilst desperately wishing to "get home", picturing the Hokage monument... Only to land smack bang in the middle of the Senju brothers breakfast 🤣

Note: the idea of using Kotoamatsukami to time travel is something I've explored in And All The Stars Seemed Closer, as it questions how Shisui would intimately know what a technique he has never ever used could do or how to use it

Shisui is only saved from Tobirama immediately skewering him by Hashirama begging that Shisui is a panicking little kid.... that they can use to barter Uchiha peace, especially when Shisui freaks out that No He's Not Here To Kill Senju! ... He's taken as a prisoner of war, they send a missive to the Uchiha Clan saying that the child assassin failed and they will tear out his mangekyou Sharingan if the Uchiha don't submit to the senju (cue the Uchiha Compound exploding).

Hashirama is distraught and Tobirama, whilst trying to harden himself, can feel Shisui's terror and longing for home in his chakra signature. Hashirama is caught trying to heal him (Shisui Time Traveled from the deaths of his Genin Team after all) so is barred from the holding cells and begs Tobirama to go in his stead.

Cue very slow bonding moments where Tobirama begins to soften because Shisui's chakra is nothing but shining with sincerity and Tobirama might be a Shinobi but he's also so so soft to children. Shisui tells him about time travel, about the future and his feral devotion to peace and bawls his eyes out over his dead Genin Team and never seeing his baby cousin, Itachi, again, and Tobirama thinks he's crazy or trapped in a genjutsu or trying to trap Tobirama but.... His chakra is never anything but painfully honest and Tobirama... He begins to suspect....

Meanwhile, with the Uchiha, Madara and izuna go on a *insert scooby doo chase sound effect* headhunt for the mysterious Uchiha kid that no one seems to be related to but has the (mangekyou?!) eyes from their mother's side of the Uchiha family... Tajima is frothing at the mouth that the senju might have an Mangekyou held hostage so sends Izuna to confirm the reports whilst Madara attacks from the from and draws attention. Hashirama meets Madara head on, managing to convey between blows that he wants to help Shisui and how he's been barred from seeing him... Meanwhile, Izuna has found the cells but is met with an enraged Tobirama with a katana and, before he's forced to flee, Izuna manages to glimpse Shisui's wide baby eyes before Tobirama chases him out of the compound.... 🤭

Tobirama & Shisui are strictly platonic-familial, ironic because I know I literally talked yesterday about Shisui/Tobirama romance but it's called being multifaceted

So yeah! I didn't post the ending of the fic, this is just a very long premise lmao, because I do have a chapter plan worked out but... Will I ever write it properly? 🤷 Who knows, certainly not me lol

Inazuma Eleven Whiteboard but make it Red Matador - Part 2

Hello! Very glad the previous post was well received! There's still other doodles to archive/share here, so here it goes. I'm posting the day after since I wanted to take a little break... So much happened yesterday 😭

As always, this is a public ina11 whiteboard hosted by @ marmolao (Who turns out was the one I've been drawing RM stuff all this time with, YAY), I joined in just to draw Pedro and Igor, ended up doodling almost everyone there LOL. But it was a fun excuse to share HCs a different way, so... Let's continue from where we left.

Remember the last Rafa doodle? Well, I decided to comfort him by sharing a HC of mine with the other Andalusia boys from my setting. However by doing so I accidentally made Marmo create a new ship, and... Honestly? Good for them. I always appreciate seeing any RM pairings anytime <3

I thought it was adorable! But unfortunately, not everyone is happy seeing that one hissatsu on specific...

...Don't mind Fermín, he has legitimate reasons for hating Matador Feint with all his guts. Oh, and if anyone hasn't searched/heard the sound effect I mention... I'll do the magic for ya. It REALLY adds to the scene-

It also will be deleted over at Sunday, so... Yeah, I don't think the goal of drawing all the players will be 100% possible...

Why do I feel like they had ppl sign NDA's and confiscated their cell phones 📵 before entering the party last night lol? 😅 I think the chef posting and then a ton of fans bombarding him until he had to delete posts and go PRIVATE (even though he has a BUSINESS) is probably what "set off alarms" lol. You think they can't read what the fans are saying on Twitter and Instagram? 😅 It's obvious they know things....😏

Anyway, on a more serious note... IF smthg is indeed "brewing" for them (Tom & Zendaya), I really think fans should just let them quietly figure things out btwn them instead of bombarding their friends and family members with a bunch of questions. Asking fans who have had fan sightings questions is different because you're only trying to verify if what they're saying (or posting for everyone to see) is actually indeed valid to believe. Plus, most fans aren't "close" to them, don't work with them, and more than likely won't be seeing them ever again lol.

But friends, family, and ppl who work with them (like the chef guy)? I (personally) feel they should be left alone. 😔 And tbh, fans could prob get more "tea" by being quiet and not flooding ppl's inboxes. That chef guy could have accidentally spilled more tea if he didn't have to go private. Some ppl could have shared pictures if they didn't have to go private.

Anyway, I just think that fans should realize that whether they are "just friends" or "figuring stuff out" while they rekindle their romantic relationship, the fans should just let them do that in peace. Since nobody at that party (I'm assuming) posted yesterday (unlike in previous years) it feels like maybe they kinda wanted yesterday to be kind of private? 🤷🏾‍♀️ And tbh, that's not a bad thing!

So, imo as fans we can be excited and happy for them 😃, but at the same time not be SO invasive that it causes them to retreat and be overly weird. 😔

I really think they're not even sure where things are gonna go with each other right now, so they're prob trying to stay very low-key in case things don't work out. I just think that fans should respect that, that's all! 😊

I'm really glad and grateful you were able to post the 3rd chapter despite saying you lost it :(( I hope you retrieved most of it because this was a detail oriented chapter and would have been a pain to rewrite 😅

Coming to chapter 3- so many signs!!! The migraines, the lavender, the flashbacks, the dreams, the noticeable freezing up in body language for the demons😆 I think my favourite part is the part where she is reading her mom's journal and going :O is my mom high? 😂 It does make a lot of sense though.. She's the person her bloodline was waiting for, that's exactly why she is the doppelganger and the demons were drawn towards her at first glimpse.

I think I had the same reaction when Katherine and her 1864 story was revealed 😆

So the migraines denote growing pains? And the glass shattering is her raw power projecting out of her mind and body without her knowledge and control?

Now this is the arc I am waiting for... Because she is aware of her identity (?) even though she feels it's ludicrous, she knows about jungkook and the rest of the boys.. This is gonna get so interesting.

omygosh thank you so much! i did have to rewrite it unfortunately but i managed to get it done yesterday afternoon because i'd already written it once so kinda knew what direction i was gonna take with it LOL kill me
