Rian Johnson said he got tweets from Russia asking him not to kill General Hux. 

I must say, I’m proud of my country, Russian part of the fandom and fandom overall. You guys did fantastic job raising awareness among Star Wars crew that we want #Huxlive, that’s a lot! It also means that our opinion matters on some level, now we need to do the same for Episode IX =D

Also, please note that Rian never said anything about “Russian bots”, there is no need attacking him for what he did not say.
