husk redesign

(sinner + human form)

rambling below the cut! (gonna be shorter this time srry)

- first of all hes irish now bc i do what i want. he lived in dublin

-died in 1978 at 67 yrs old, lived through the troubles

- was married

-took up a job as a really shitty magician (hes good at tricks its just that he has the charisma of a mouldy loaf of bread you left alone for a week before dealing with it)

-used his card skills to cheat at poker and spent most of that money on beer

- died of a heart attack

-made an indecent living as a minor overlord by cheating at Soul Poker™ (poker but you gamble your soul)

-eventually people found out he cheated and they got Angry so he turned to alastor, who promised that these people would forget all about his lies if he gave alastor his soul

-on a very tight leash, he rarely gets time away from alastor and has to deal with him breathing down his neck at all times

-technically his henchman

-bonds with nifty over working at the hotel and having to deal with alastor and they gain a kinda father-daughter relationship

-he encourages her sci-fi writing

-supposed to only supply non-alcoholic drinks at his bar but sneaks in real ones anyway

-chronic bet-placer, usually with nifty

-dog sinner bc. he is loyal to a fault (to alastor) even though he doesnt want to be

You put the non alcoholic drinks in the cabinet as you decide to pet Husk furry fluffy head when he's sleeping thinking he didn't realised it but you heard his soft purrs as you looked down surprised as you were about to put your hands away thinking he would be grumpy but he hold your hands to keep petting him."Keep petting me I do really enjoy it...please don't tell anyone about it." "Haha!Ok I wont tell anyone." You said as you sat down and continued to pet him he purrs enjoying being petted by you feeling comfortable. You rubbed his chubby fluffy face as he continuously as you both looked around you see that they came back to the motel.Charlie awed at the sight of you two getting along,Maggie laughed,Anthony was recording the whole time,Alastor is amused,Sir pentious awed as well with Charlie,Charlemagne holds his laughter,Nifty is giggling and teasing.

AHHHH HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANGEL *collapses on the floor and dies* 🎉💗

(Have a Huskerdust animatic with overlord husk au ! Wooooo!!!11! I have come up with so much lore and story for this au during my creation of this animatic it’s insane, PLEASE ASK ME ABOUT IT !) I’m insane about them.

But now I have some notes about my feelings and progress of this animatic it’s a bit long but i would be great full if y’all read it.

Ok so my 1st fully fledged animatic has been very grueling but l've learnt so much with it

don't animate on procreate it's hell, and I need to find a better program to animate on (cause I wanna try and make more animatics in the future. Please suggest some apps to me )

I don't have to be as meticulous or nit picky about everything since it kinda makes my art look stiff and not dynamic like my sketches

Animatics CAN LOOK ROUGH (being rough doesn't make it bad, sometimes it makes it more fluid)

I really want to experiment with more dynamic camera shots and movement.

That being said I didn't want to switch up the style at the end of the animatic so I stuck with the stiff style, and this being my first actual long form animatic (not counting a couple of the more tiktok-esque Steddie ones | made) I'm still kinda proud??q!! Even though it's not how l imagined it to look like

TLDR: this is my first actual animatic, I have no animation background and don't know what I'm doing.

Nevertheless I'm so proud of what I made, but still wanna make more less refined animatics in the future, and I want to allow myself to play around with more movement

My Husk redesign ^_^

I really wish he had a gut- it would have been a perfect opportunity to make a character with a different body type. I also made his birdy side an owl, gave his heart shaped face like that of a barn owl and his “ears” like that of a horned owl/eagle owl. I wanted to incorporate green into his pallet to tie him to Alastor, also since gambling has connotations under the sin of greed, it would make sense that green ties him to mammon to me haha
