Not enough people talk about how Levi and Historia both embraced their true names during the Royal Government Arc, and I think that’s a shame.

Aside from geniunely enriching the story and being a good non necessarily romantic dynamic overall, Erehisu does go hard

I think one of the weakest arguments against Erehisu is that Historia would hate Eren because of what he is planning on doing. But while she is rightfully horrified by what he is planning on doing, which Eren is also horrified by what he is going to do too, it doesn’t change the fact Historia still decides to support Eren. If Historia was truly against what Eren had planned, she could have gone to one of the high ranking military officials and told them what Eren had planned so they could find a way to capture him and get someone else to turn into a Titan and eat him so they wouldn’t have to worry about Eren. At the time that Eren told Historia his plan, he didn’t have the War Hammer Titan, so it would have been a lot easier for them to hold Eren prisoner since he couldn’t use those powers to escape. There is a reason why one of the names that Erehisu as a ship is called Enemies of Hunanity.

I think the reason that I’m finding it harder to jive with the reading of “historia agreed to eren’s plan” atm is like… because she’s never narratively punished for it in the same way he is? eren dies, and we see the impact his actions have on him and how it affects his relationships with everyone else. but historia gets no mention at all, no-one knows she even knew about eren’s plan and she survives until the end!
But I don’t know like… how I’m supposed to read historia’s silence as anything but her actively enabling eren???? Is it just bad writing. why did my girl get sidelined so hard in the end. I’m so sad about this ALWAYS

I suppose it's realistic that the Jaegerists survived, but good gracious did I want them eviscerated
Their ideology is absolutely repulsive. I wish the militarism had ceased, I wish Queen Historia had managed to dissolve them, I wish that if military was necessary, that it would be a brand new group with ideals that are not imperialistic nor nationalistic
One of the consequences of Eren being a fucking dumbass I guess
and by eviscerated I don't mean they'd all be executed - that would only incite resentment and more violence - I mean ostracized and disanded by the gov't and/or people of Paradis

Tumblr media Tumblr media
Two runaways with Strange gifts
One being Historia a girl with the ability to Transform and use the ability of any extinct creature on the planet, making her a living fossil.
The other is Mystery, a young boy with the ability to summon or shapeshift into any cryptid or monster that he's aware of.
Both make a dangerous and skillful duo, be glad that there being watched by the O'Kongs. Be very wary of these two.

I’ve been super obsessed with this song when I first heard it, and that’s even helped motivate me a lot in my writing along with me correlating certain moments between Eren and Historia throughout the series.  Honestly, I almost teared up while I was rewatching this because it just felt so powerful!
Eren and Historia just have a really special connection with one another, and I wanna do everything that I can to keep their chemistry alive along with a little tease I’ve planted with this amv I’ve made.

¿Qué vas a leer esta semana? 12.02.2024
Esta semana sigo con The Dawn of Everything: A New History of Humanity, ¿y vosotros?
Estos días he seguido con paso lento pero seguro con The Dawn of Everything: A New History of Humanity, de David Graeber y David Wengrow.
