mer au alkaloid + kohaku maybe? if you can?

thank you for asking !! because this might be a lot of text ill leave it under a read more (it iS a lot of text.)

Alkaloid is currently split up but theyll find their way back together soon!! currently Tatsumi and Aira work at Ocean Ensemble Square's Mer rescue HQ

Tatsumi used to be an executive but after sustaining major injury and limb loss he now works as a sanctuary guide

- for context: OES is divided into a few layers, one of which is a huge main floor sanctuary level that stretches a few floors deep to allow for giant tanks containing involatile mer (think of it like PKMN sun moon's Aether Paradise but larger and slightly more horrifying)

- eichi's got 2 offices (one above water and another underwater), & some areas of OES are walled off unless you have a permit and are armed; the underwater sanctuary tanks are located to be visible from eichis office

Tatsumi also carries a weapon + a mer disabling device on him! He's abt 34.. (?) ish and used to be friends w Jun (and mer!hiyori) as kids -> tatsumi was the one who inspired jun to become a sea captain! i don't trust myself to write these guys as much as I do fine but i'm trying --- Aira is everyone's favourite unpaid intern -> child who idolized this whole operation, working out at sea, everything about it -> dropped out of uni (he's what. 22?) to come work here for lodging expenses. He's not winning but at least he's friend's with yuzuru (im citing the singular line in keito lecture where yz was asked 2 go get food w the rest of them and then stayed back to help keito clean up (?) this was in yuzuru's feature scout) Aira and eichi enjoy a very similar interaction basis as they have in Branco's chapters involving them -- "i was like that, i love someone who used to be like that, but i dont know if you'll be as fortunate as the two of us" [extremely paraphrased] (this was eichi about him and tori IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY)

Aira is also friends w branco! (they help him through a lot of stuff)

He's in HR with Anzu (HR MANAGER shes been here for 4 years and has another 3 on the contract let her OUT) which means shredding complaints from business Executive Ibara Saegusa and Security Head Keito Hasumi on a daily basis (complaints about a certain dark blue haired mer and a light blue haired mer respectively)

Aira also has walked in on a few too many situations he never wants to see again + OES halloween party -> ibara carries a water gun, chiaki starts handing out inflatable amongus suits.

Mayoi lives in the OES tank connection system and eichi simply lets it happen because mayoi isnt a) seemingly a threat and b) eichi lets izumi "mer aren't real" sena stay as a paid employee i think eichi's more than willing to see what'll happen as long as it's not a huge downprofit to the company -> sena is not half bad at his job and when tourists catch a glimpse of mayoi they get very excited! (mayoi is the one of the non sedated mer in the area, and he moves faster than most of them + very pretty tail) Tatsumi is one of the sanctuary feeders so he makes sure mayoi gets a fair share too!

side note: mer get more fish-like as you go farther down the sea level + size attribution! mayoi is in a situation where he looks mostly human because of his size and shape (ex. tori's look are modeled after those fish with huge eyes, while wataru's is SUPPOSED to be modeled more after one of those sharks with the giant mouths)

--- Hiiro and Kohaku are pirates on Jun's ship!! Jun's crew are more or less illegal sailors so we're just gonna call them pirates so I can dress them up in frilly clothing; hiiro is of mer blood -> small little scales that he doesn't know how to properly treat and therefore fall off as he just. wraps it in fabric -> Jun is a good captain also hes jun he forces hiiro to actually take care of himself better (im going off the whole thing where hiiro dances extremely well but doesn't really mind harming himself (?) through extremely rough movement (believe4leaves hiiro part) and hiiro's mentality of following what he's learned throughout his life until something else comes along and tells him otherwise -> as a kid having to cover up scales -> still doing it until jun convinces him that it's ok and he's not going to get hunted here for that Kohaku is an ex-mer hunter ^-^ maybe he has something to do with HiMERU ^-^ He also pens to Aira via pigeon mail every so often, and aira mails back using the pigeon coop at OES' top level! At one point (after hiiro no longer sheds off broken scales) kohaku ends up securing one of hiiro's naturally fallen off scales in the pigeon mail to aira! Aira wears it as a necklace

And to answer how kohaku and hiiro are doing -> badly! They are currently shipwrecked because some (very large) green mer has decided their captain is hot /hj

Bonus about the whole pirate shipwreck situation: Jun has been living around mer for the past 7 years & tatsumi was the one who gave him a love of the sea bc tatsumi knew so much about it!! Everytime jun would visit OES (he lived in the closest to seaside village) he'd talk for hours with tatsumi (volunteer at the time) at the dock -> and mer!hiyori, who was part of the beauty, who was always in the distance +

hiyori who didn't talk to jun but swam little circles around under their feet and then after that day slinked away and did not return to see them again -> tatsumi goes to check for hiyori every day for half a year at the edge of the OES docks & jun comes with when he can

hiyori is staring at them out of sight; they are little children, missing eachother already (i'd estimate tatsumi is around 17 here, and jun is 14?)

Jun doesn't exactly recognize Hiyori at first either but she recognizes him! kohaku once again metaphorically gets kicked out of his own room

in truth the pokemon aus are part of a little series ive had on my mind since i decided to write fic for hq! i know a fair bit abt pokemon (ive seen the anime + movies up til the end of the sinnoh region and experienced every region besides the newest one, not to mention the side games ive played,,,) and tho the idea of a pkmn series has its roots in my kpop days, i figured to carry it over and add a bunch of stories to it LMAO

the reader in each story (except one, but you could read it as a standalone so it doesnt matter too much) is different and a few of the fics take place at different points in the timeline. theres an event known as the pokemon world tournament that some (like kags and oiks) are working towards but some of the fics have anything to do with them!!

Folge 3

Wieder eine recht simple Folge. OST nicht zu krass, aber gute Interaktionen zwischen Ash und Gou und auch interessant wie man Gou anmerkte, wie er auf vieles von Ash nicht klar kommt, weil er sowas noch nie gesehen hat, aber es eben zu Ashs Charakter gehört.

Anfang war richtig schöner Chill Mode. Erstmal bisschen slice of life und ich fand da schon lustig wie Pantimos einen Staubsauger PANTOMIERT hat und damit saugte xD Mit Sound und allem. WAT.

Und Ash hat jetzt n ganzes Büffet und kann sich den Bauch vollstopfen

Yamper ist irgendwie richtig auf Stress aus :D Bellt rum, macht Ash und Gou Angst und ich weiß nicht wieso. Einfach, weils n Hund ist? Und bei Pikachu wird es dann immer ruhig, aww

NICHTS wird Rotom aus SM ersetzen, aber hier haben sie ja ihr Smartphone, welches auch mit Rotom läuft. Die Stimme in einer Szene war schon recht unerträglich (von Gou Handy), aber naja. Hätten wir das abgehakt.

Kam aber überraschend. 

TR auch am Start. Wir haben ein wenig Screentime von denen und ich bin gespannt wie sie in dieser Serie drauf sind. Ihre erste Folge war jetzt nicht zuuu krass.

So viel kleines haben wir hier gesehen. Bin gespannt, wann wir Joy sehen und wie sie aussieht.

Jetzt zum interessanteren. Der Dialog hier. Hier wollte Ash dem Bisaknosp helfen, aber Gou hielt ihn auf. Ich fand Gou hier recht merkwürdig , weil ich auf Ashs Seite war und seine Art hier etwas eigen war. Als wenn er quasi meint, dass es Pech hat, wenn das PKMN es nicht alleine schafft. Er hatte natürlich seinen eigenen Grund, aber dennoch.

Ich hab hier einige Screencaps nicht, aber Gou scheint etwas zu verbergen bzw die Macher haben da schon was für ihn.

Kleiner Streit bzw Meinungsverschiedenheit und dann sowas. Ein Satz, der in Gou wohl etwas auslöste bzw es so herüberkommen soll.

Er tat mir da echt leid, weil er da leicht enttäuscht aussah und das war schon nicht so schön. Da muss halt echt was zu kommen, weil er es erwidert, als Ash fragte, ob er was gesagt habe.

Man könnte sich zwar denken was, aber lassen wir mal.

Außerdem mochte ich auch die Seite von Ash. Also wie wir ihn sahen. In SM war er ja der netteste Bengel und auf einmal kommen wir wieder zu anderen Interaktionen von ihm. Dass er sagt ‘macht doch was du willst’ ist etwas, was LANGE nicht mehr bei Ash kam. obwohl, in der Rotom Folge gegen Folge 95 oder so, aber da aus Trotz.

Ich fand das nur interessant, weil ich oft auf Ash achte und wie er sich verhält, weil wir ihn manchmal immer noch in neuen Situationen sehen. bzw in welchen, die lange nicht mehr vorkamen.

Friede, Freude, Eierkuchen :D Da sind die Bros wieder Bros. Die Pose kam auch selten dran. Bei Kaki oft.

Was ist wieder tpypisch Ash? SOWAS! Erstmal wie ein Bisaknosp verhalten, damit er weiß wie sich das anfühlt. Gou kam da erst nicht klar, weils halt schon recht speziell ist, aber ist halt Ash :D

TR mit PKMN, die sie vom HQ bekommen haben. Da ist jetzt echt die Frage, ob sie hier überhaupt EIGENE PKMN bekommen? Oder ob sie bei jedem Auftritt andere haben bzw eben jetzt Garados und Despotar die ganze Zeit. Ich hoffe, dass sie dennoch so gut sind wie immer; halt liebenswert und so, auch wenn nach Alola das Klima wieder anders ist und so. Bin gespannt was sie machen und wie oft die vorkommen.

Und Ash wieder am beschützen der PKMN. Finde gut, dass sie in einer Folge wieder so viel Ash typisches eingebaut haben. Gou war hier sogar beeindruckt, weil Ash halt echt längen für PKMN geht. Der Kontrast ist ganz gut.

Botogel war nicht da, aber ein Pelipper, welches das Item für TR gebracht hat. Standard jetzt?

Dass mit der Freundschaft hat Gou gegen Ende erneut beschäftigt und ich denke, dass es mit seinen schlechten Erfahrungen vorher war, weswegen er auch peinlich berührt Ash erneut gefragt hat und leicht rot war. Deswegen strahlte er auch, weil Ash halt nicht so ist wie die anderen, die Gou meinte.

Die Interaktionen waren das beste an der Folge. Sowas können sie viel besser einbauen, wenn nur 2 Charaktere wichtig sind und es ist mal was anderes.g
