Way, way back in medieval Europe, people believed toadstones were mythical stones found in the heads of toads. They were believed to be an antidote to poison and that they sweat, changed colour or even heated up in the presence of poison. They also believed that placing them on bites from snakes, insects, spiders and shrews would extract poison from the wound. A very handy anti-poison tool.  ✨ Toadstones are actually the fossilized tooth of an extinct fish that lived during the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods.  ✨ Wear a little bit of medieval magic with this stacker, now in the shop.
