I have a conversation like this with my friend today where we asked each other silly shit about our biases and we legit talked for hours about it. I wanted to share some questions with you 💗

OH LOVE THISSSSS 😭🫶 my sister and I always talk about our biases for literal HOURS and it’s actually insane how long we can talk about the simplest little things pertaining to them. Thank you for asking these ahhh these were so fun to answer!! Here are the most condensed answers I came up with (bc let’s be real I could write paragraphs about this man😮‍💨☝️)

1. I love love LOOOVE Jisung’s natural hair, either black or a lighter brown. I always tell my sister his natural hair reminds me of a Korean Flynn Rider (the smolder and everything😭) and I think it suits his prominent eyebrows so beautifully and he just looks so boyfriend!! Second fav is the silver/blonde hair… he literally looks like AI with silver hair like he does NOT look real 😧🫶 Jisung definitely sits on my personal list of top 10 best looking idols and he also looks UNBELIEVABLE in person. Pics for reference but there were so many to pick from omg I had a field day on Pinterest fr

2. I’m obsessed with Run!!!! I think it’s such a fun song to listen to while I work or run errands or something. It has such a unique beat and it just feels very Jisung to me. Also I know it’s not technically a solo song but huge Muddy Water enthusiast too specifically for Jisung’s part 😵‍💫🤌 I died hearing it live at the Maniac tour he is SO talented

3. THIS WAS HARD…. I’m gonna go with the Maniac fancam for Show Champion OR the S-Class fancam for Mcountdown. I love when Jisung knows he looks good and just exudes confidence and talent like the Maniac one, he’s so sexy fr ☹️ the S-Class fancam is one of my fav outfits he’s ever worn I just think it’s so unique and the whole vibe of it feels so space-like 🪐☄️ fun fact I actually tried to buy his exact vest SO many times but they were always out of my size so I ended up getting Felix’s Psychonaut vest instead (by the same brand) their stylists should’ve gotten a raise for those outfits fr

4. I love both so so much but I’m very partial to his rap! I think he has one of the most unique voices amongst 4th gen in terms of rap and he just has such an effortless and smooth flow. Such an ace in so many ways and his rap really solidifies that for me every time I hear it. He also sounds exactly the same live and it’s so clear he’s just naturally gifted when it comes to his rap !!

5. Honestly it sounds like a copout but I have to go with Rock Star era only because he seems so HAPPY??? I know 5-star was a pretty rough era for him and we barely heard from him + it was clear he was maybe going through something (Jisung my beloved ☹️) but it was so good to see him smiling so much this comeback and just joking around with the members again and enjoying his stages. Happy Jisung is the best Jisung 🥹 also his stylists did NOT hold back with the fashion like we got slutty little Jaist™️ for so many stages and his outfits were all so god-tier

6. Ahhh my favorite question 🫶👼 and I have to go with a resounding no unfortunately 😭 I would LOVE to say we’d make a great couple but honestly I think Jisung and I are too similar in so many ways and we would get sick of each other pretty fast. Or at least he would get sick of me ☹️ we’re both often the entertainers among our friends/family or always the ones making others laugh and just being silly, and I think together it would hinder one of us to only let the other be the entertainer. We also both tend to get a little moody (not that it’s a bad thing!) but I feel like our communication skills wouldn’t be great when we need to be left alone or we’re just experiencing a low before we feel high again. I think we’d also spend most our our relationship asleep (I’m like 24/7 tired I think I have hypersomnia or something lol) and we probably wouldn’t make a great effort to spend quality time together or plan cute dates. People always say you’re very similar to your bias and compatible to your bias wrecker (in my case Felix) and I think that’s so true! That would never stop me from trying with Jisung though we can just take naps and be goofy together for however long we can stand each other 🤭

one thing you would change about the show if you could the whole making-it-up-to-wai arc was not it for me. WHY was pran the one apologising and going after him??? still makes me mad to this day, but i think i'd have a lot more animosity towards wai if ep 12 didn't exist (also all the wai redemption arcs in fanfics have made me warm up to him :P)

Notes: 1. This was supposed to be for his birthday :) 2. This was supposed to be finished yesterday :) Well, at least here we have it done, and it’s still August :)

“Hey, Cheol! Over here!” you shout out as soon as you catch the glimpse of your long-time boyfriend behind the masses of men that are his band members and crews. He finds you instantly and his face lights up, seeing that you’re skipping your way through the busy airport towards him. Seventeen has just wrapped up their activity in Japan with a three-day mega concert in Tokyo Dome and now is on their way to Las Vegas for BBMAs. You can see the exhaustion framing Seungcheol dark eyes as well as the other members’. They always remind you how easy it is for their excitements to freshen them up again, but still, it’s a hectic schedule. The most rest they can get is the one day off before rehearsal. And for this reason, you’ve turned down your boyfriend’s original plan to pick you up in Seoul and then fly from there to McCarran International Airport. Because that, you imagine, would be such a great hassle.

You’ve been waiting in the gate only for about fifteen minutes when you saw them marching in. You didn’t really pay attention to your surrounding, only facing up once in a while from the captivating video you’re playing on your phone, fancams from last night’s concert. It was so sad that you couldn’t attend any of those three-day concerts because you’re doubling as your cousin’s wedding organizer and bridesmaid, which you would consider as an insanely terrific experience because how could someone do that? You’re planning a wedding but then you’re basically leaving it be as if you’re certain that nothing could ever go wrong and you could just stand and look pretty as the bridesmaid. But you made it.

And so did Seungcheol. He made it through the concerts with no injury and with a high spirit still—credit goes to the pictures of you on your salmon pink bridesmaid dress. But to be perfectly honest, you not being there took a toll on him, and pictures could only do so much. Sure, he’s a leader you could count on to and he’s also good at hiding what he’s actually feeling if he wanted to. But when it comes to you, he’s just a complete baby. And even right now, he’s walking to you in childlike strides and with a pout on his face.

When he arrives in front of you, the pout on his lips turns into a straight line which makes the dimples on his cheeks more prominent. “Babe,” he whines as he stares at you, who had stopped too many steps away from him.

You understand right away what he tries to express in that one word, his expression telling you everything you need to know. He missed you, and he came to the airport with an expectation, which you obviously didn’t fulfill.

 “Why didn’t you come up to me to hug me or something? I thought when we’re on the phone you said you missed me,” he grumbles and in turn, you laugh.

“I was distracted. I just finished watching the videos of a special someone spitting fire on last night concert and the pouty baby in front of me is such a polar opposite to that person, you know. I wonder how that’s possible.” You nudge him when he deliberately trying to shy away from your gaze.

“But still, how could you not run to that person when he’s literally a few feet away from you.”

“Oh my god, see! You’re such a baby! Did you miss me that much, huh?” You let out an airy chuckle before you stand up and link your arm with his. “Come on, let’s take a walk around. We still have, what, twenty, twenty-five minutes before check-in? I’m sure once your members get the timing right and circle us, they’re gonna tease you to death.”

You walk hand in hand visiting every shop with no intention of buying anything. There’s one that looks like a mini-market, and it has all kinds of instant noodle you can imagine. You audibly gasp and point at the stacks of noodle packages excitedly. “Cheol-ah! Look at that! It’s- Oh my god, that’s a lot of noodles!”

And then there’s another shop that sells assortments of soft cakes and chocolates. They have banana cake in the shape of a sliced banana, hello kitty soft cakes, Dorayaki, which you love, and various others. Again, you don’t buy anything. You just take the small pieces of cakes the shop assistant offers you. Seungcheol insists that you pick something, but of course, you insist back, saying that something is too sweet or not of your taste or that you don’t really want it at all. But it’s just that you don’t like him spending money on you. This whole trip, it’s on him, and you don’t want to add more to that, however small the addition is.

Seungcheol knows of this, but he can’t really do anything. Well, at least, anything other than buying you stuff behind your back. Just like how he secretly booked you your flight ticket here, he bought you a pack of a dozen Dorayaki. Only one, though, so that he can fit in inside his already-packed backpack. He can already see the way you’d sigh and scold him because of it, but he can save that image for later when you actually do sigh and scold him. Right now, he’ll just revel in the way your eyes light up at the littlest thing that piques your interest as you continue your walk.

And then you sigh, and Seungcheol feels that he’s on the border of panicking, thinking that you’ve caught him, but that was until he notices the contentment that framed your sigh. “I always love this airport,” you begin and Seungcheol let go of the breath he’s holding since a few seconds ago. “It feels airy and light. All these glasses and high ceiling. But you know, there’s always a downside to everything. Somehow, even though I’ve been here, like, at least thrice, I still have a hard time finding the restroom, like, all the time.”

And Seungcheol bursts in laughter, classic Y/n.

“That’s true! Really! It feels like they’re too far apart or whatever,” you say, laughing with him as you see the comical quality of your sentence. Seungcheol frees his arm from yours only to wrap it around your shoulder, and you feel grateful for the proximity it offers. “Anyway, I want to live here,” you start again after some time, earning you one surprised look from your boyfriend.

“What? Here? As in this airport?”

You shoot him a look before answering, “No, you silly! In Tokyo.”

“Why? Because the airport is good?”

You shoot him another look, causing him to chuckle.

“You hate living in a big city, though.”

“Well, then, Kyoto?”

“Is it a small city?”

You giggle at that because you don’t know, and as you exaggerate a shrug, you tell him just that. “I don’t know. I know nothing about anything, you see.”

He looks at you incredulously and asks, “Then how do you come up with Kyoto?”

“You know, there’s this poet. He wrote a piece of Tokyo and another of Kyoto. They’re beautiful, the way the pieces are connected to each other. And, uh, Tokyo and Kyoto, you reverse one and you get the other. Tokyo, Kyoto, Tokyo, Kyoto,” you explain while flipping your palm up and down after you say the name of each of those two cities.

“Is… that why you like the poetries?”

“Hey,” you whine, “I told you they’re beautiful! That Tokyo-Kyoto thing just adds to its value for me. I’ll show you later, you’ll see just how beautiful those pieces are, ugh. Anyway, I like the Kyoto one better.”

“So… We’re moving to Kyoto because of that?”

“Uh”—you stop walking and turn to face Seungcheol—“are we now?”

He follows your action and replies bluntly, “No.”

Then you both laugh together before falling into a comfortable silence as Seungcheol tightens his arm around you and the two of you walk back to your designated gate.

“Cheol-ah, look at that, it’s beautiful,” you say, motioning to the sky outside the plane’s window beside you. “The clouds are so neat and white and pretty. You snap your head around to face him. “Cheol, that’s not- You don’t have to—“

“Shh.”

“But I don’t want you to—“

He cups your face and runs his thumbs on your cheeks, their warmth immediately paints red on your face. “I want to,” he states firmly before he falters, “And, uh, you’re wrong.”

“Huh? Wrong? About what?”

One of Seungcheol’s palm releases your cheek to straighten the line forming on your forehead. “About knowing nothing about anything. You know a little thing about something. And that’s the only thing that matters.” He chuckles when that line only grows deeper at the end of his sentence.

“I know a little thing about something? What? That sounds weirdly complicated, Cheol,” you protest.

“You know a little thing about me. In fact, you know almost everything about me, every little thing.”

You scoff, “Impossible!”

“Well, will you continue to learn then?”

“As long as you’ll do the same.”

“Easy thing,” he shrugs, bringing his hands away from you and folding them in front of his chest.

You raise your eyebrow at him, completely amused by his answer. “Uh-huh?”

“Yeah.”

“You cocky little man.”

“What?!” he exclaims in half a whisper, “You sure you’re talking about me?” Seungcheol wiggles his eyebrows and nod towards the seat behind yours, which as it turns out, is occupied by one sleeping Jihoon. Your eyes grow big in terror, but you can’t help the laugh that’s coming out of you, and neither does Seungcheol.

“Alright. Come here,” he says in the end, bringing your head to his shoulder, “and, uh, I might have bought a box of Dorayaki for you.”

“Seung—“

“I want it, too, okay? If you don’t want it then I can eat everything.”

You roll your eyes at him. “Whatever you say,” you mumble as you throw your gaze outside the window again, biting down a smile at how his palm mindlessly rubs at your arm and his head comfortably rests atop of yours.

An Amateur’s Beginner’s Guide to A.C.E

I got into a.c.e kind of late (which I’m still mad at myself about, like I had made an attempt before lol I’m so dumb), so I’m actually still learning a few things here and there but this is what I have so far!! (this is by no means a full, completely comprehensive guide, so if anyone has any other info or moments they love feel free to send them over!!) 

VERY brief summary off the top of my head: they debuted in 2017 under beat interactive, and their name stands for Adventure Calling Emotions. you probably know at least a little of this, but even though they’re still slept on a bit they’re INSANE performers - so many groups out there are amazing at sharp, coordinated knife dancing but a.c.e takes being in sync and whiplash from how hard they hit dance moves to another level. when mixnine and the unit rolled around, donghun, wow, and byeongkwon went to mixnine, and jun and chan went to the unit. donghun and byeongkwan were actually supposed to debut from mixnine (but we won’t talk about that mess) and chan ended up debuting with unb

Ode To You In Manila (Online)

I’m watching fancams of Ode To You in Manila.

This is so good. So beautiful. 

I became a Carat just around 1-2 months ago. It’s been a really fun ride with Seventeen. It really sucks that we can’t go to physical live concerts now because of the pandemic. I don’t really go to concerts a lot, but I thought, if there was one group I really would want to see in a live concert, it would be Seventeen. I was actually shocked that the last place they went to (in their tour) before COVID actually worsened (lockdowns happened and all) was Manila. I mean... I was in the city! But sadly I wasn’t in the concert as I didn’t know them yet.

Thankfully, I can watch some clips of the concert on Youtube.

This is really so much more fun than online concerts/recordings. The cheers of the Carats are a big factor. You really get hyped up, and it gets emotional. Even though I don’t have actual moots (who are my friends), it really felt so fun hearing the other fans chant and cheer. It felt like a community, just enjoying and loving the boys together. I was so encouraged, and I was smiling the whole time. I’m sure, for the members too, they love live concerts more. They’ve mentioned it many times how they get energy from the crowd. I was being wrecked the whole time. (I am actually not done with the concert-watching yet. I keep pausing it to breathe.) The vocals!!! Dokyeom’s vocals are insanely beautiful. I’m so wreckkkkkeddd. Seungkwan is sooo good and powerful, but so cute. My heart. Mingyu, as expected, extremely good looking and (don’t say it, don’t say it) super hot! Hoshi is so extra! He’s so fun! I love the way he interacts with the audience. Huhu! Woozi’s vocals also so legittt. And dear he was so good in dancing, I loved him in Thanks. Jun was super adorable!!! Dino and The8, so talented. Actually, the vocals in Lilly Yabay was also so awesome - Hoshi really delivers. Wonwoo’s and Vernon’s rap, and even their singing, wow! Hearing them in Chilli was so awesome. And honestly, they slayyyed Smile Flower. Joshua’s face is sooo pretty. And Jeonghan too, my ulgo shipji anha favorite. Hug and Smile Flower was soooo heartwarming. I just really had to sing along in Smile Flower! Everyone’s vocals was actually so good live! And of course DK’s crazy verse in Don’t Listen in Secret. The whole section of Akkinda, Pretty U, Oh My upto Just Do it was sooo crazy fun! They really are like theatre kids.

Gosh, I was so wrecked by DK’s live vocals and even upto the way he sang with so much emotion. And even his smooth and beautiful face. Gaaaaaah.

I loved the way Hoshi led them (because S.Coups wasn’t around huhu) and how he interacts with the fans.

I’m so grateful for these Carats who filmed almost the whole thing. Thank you to Bianca and Sel Daria who recorded the concert. :’) It really felt like I was there, both in Gen Ad to see the big picture, and in VIP to see them upclose. My heart is so full.

Gosh, I love them.

1. How and when did you get into BTS?early 2015! a junior of mine from our choir recommended I Need U, and i completely fell in love with the song and m/v plotline! (I still remember the way she screamed everytime JK shows up lmao she’s a cutie) although i’ve listened to their previous releases (Boy in Luv was my first song by them) i only really got into them after INU.

2. Did you make new friends thanks to BTS?Yes! All the nice lovelies here on tumblr I could meet and get to know because of them, but in real life there are quite a few acquaintances that became my friends because of bangtan ♡

3. Has Bangtan influenced your life in any other way?a lot, actually. with the way I look at life (joon’s hyyh: on stage ments wow) and the way I listen to music are just starters, but they definitely played a part in shaping my current view of the world in general. (i still think humans are shallow but humanity might still be saved somehow)

9. Your favourite AGUST D and RM track?…………………………………………….how does one choose, though?from RM, probably Life. I really enjoyed the lyrics for this onefrom AGUST D, most likely So Far Away. again with the lyrics, but also because I like the arrangement of the song and I relate to the lyrics a lot. sometimes, though, if I’m feeling like I’m back in high school with all the rebellious soul resurrected in me, Agust D is my jam.

11. Is there any BTS song that has a special meaning for you?Whalien52. on the surface, the song seems to be just about the 52Hz whale, but I see it as a cry for help from someone who’s just out of place in their world.

12. Your favourite live performance?I’m torn between INU+Run or Perfect Man, both in 2015 MBC Music Festival….. I would also mention First Love and Stigma in Wings Tour Seoul though, but I only watched it through fancams……

20. Which member caught your attention first?jimin! he first caught my attention in MAMA2014 (guilty as charged rip) and that was really how I got to know some of the members’ names at first.

Do you talk openly about BTS in front of friends and family?YES HAHAHAHA my bestie got into k-pop again because I replayed bangtan songs waaayyy too many times in front of her, although it’s a bit unfortunate that she eventually got into Big Bang and Got7 more :’) my brother, though, is the only person who can stop me from talking anything bangtan (because I don’t want to get hit by him lmao)

on a more serious note, I would love for them to come out with a soft, R&B/urban concept for a whole album, although it might be impossible lol

50. Your thoughts on BigHit?I think they’re a legit and just company (unlike TShit) as the members have continually expressed their delight in the way the company runs, etc. They seem to be really close as well, and I really hope that behind the scenes, they are truly like a family.

i've been wondering a lot about hoseok and his dance background lately. do you know when he started dancing, what style he started with and which style of dance he has most experience with? also what dance style would you classify boy meets evil as? (sidenote: dance style of lie?) i'm bombarding you bc i know you have some experience in dancing haha sorry 1/ ~F

Also, I often see people saying that hoseok’s only good at street dance/popping and isn’t a versatile dancer (often when they compare him to jimin) but im just???? Yeah it’s true that hoseok hasn’t shown as wide a range of styles as jimin has but that doesn’t mean he’s not a versatile dancer??? 2/ ~F

Sometimes (esp during group dances), he doesn’t show his full potential; however, you can’t say that it’s his limit because he’s not /trying/ to outshine the others. Similar to that, if he isn’t showing you the whole range of dances he can perform, how can you say he’s bad? (I feel like this analogy is confusing. Feel free to ignore rip) Also, were these people sleeping during the spring day choreo or… ???? 3/ ~F

ANON you will not believe the noise i just made when i saw these messages in my inbox !!!!! i’d love to answer your questions fpasdlgh. just a heads up that this is gonna be long; i’m sorry, i talk a lot and don’t know when to shut up & also like listening to my own (metaphorical) voice too much sometimes

1. hoseok’s been dancing since freshman (?) year of high school and started out with street (x) while this is a considered a short time for professional dancers, i’m only exposed to classical art forms, so i’m unsure how that factors into this style (´～｀ヾ) and yes, that means this is the base of his technique !

2. i would classify BME as 100% hip hop/street. although they can be seen as widely different genres, it’s a popular style that’s taken off these past few years in the dance community. it’s got street elements in it, but it’s more controlled, more polished. (also: yeah idk what “lie” is………..urban lyrical pseudo contemporary with modern influences?????????? lmao at this point hip hop has grown so much i’d just call it that)

3. fam i’m in the same boat as you! hoseok is a very versatile dancer :o he can adapt to many different styles, given that they’re not asking him to start doing fouettes or something.

his main style

a subgenre of street called “bounce” although they are both “street”, each subgenre is really different from each other & it’s not easy to pick one up. here, you can see the difference between hoseok and jimin during practice. hoseok goes deeper, lower, lighter, smoother, etc. his arms come up to near his chin when he lunges to the front & there’s no part of the combo where he’s simply arrived @ a position and then stays there; he’s always moving, always milking every step, always engaged 

butterfly here, his musically is really strong bc he utilizes every part of his body in order to fill up the counts. you can really see the movement going thru every single muscle: the way his chest caves in, the shoulders, the hands, his head, the fluidity of his arms. as a dancer, you want every single action to be deliberate. you need control of even your fingers in order to constantly extend energy outwards, and hoseok takes that into account

perfect man (aka my life) is killer bc of the required speed/stamina; there is no break in this piece. if you get off you can’t get back in lmao and you can clearly see some members struggling with to stay on time with the footwork

spring day i 100% agree with what you’re saying about this piece !!!! there is so much going on here, and after watching all the individual fancams i wanna say that both he and jimin are the ones who shine the most consistently thru the entire dance.the slide to the ground? hoseok jumps the highest, gets the most airtime. the roll up from the floor? he really pushes himself and utilizes his back flexibility & holds his core in order to make sure that his head is the last thing that comes up. i was pleasantly surprised to see him tackle this choreography, esp the move i just mentioned, just to see how he’d do. he really pushed himself with this piece, and i’m glad he got the chance to grow as a dancer; probably with help from jimin, as this is more his department.the only qualm i have with him is during the wedge part where their left legs are going in & out, he needs to start pulling his left side over more …… he’s no longer square by like? the second step out n his ribs are reallllly swinging open fpfahdgt it’s kinda bothering me lol CLOSE UR RIBCAGE HOSEOK !!!!! i know u can do it

despite all of these pieces being different styles, you can tell that hoseok constantly strives to take the extra step above & beyond. he’s always looking for places where he can add Something More to the piece, even when it’s not given explicitly in the choreography. he gives it his All in hype dances, and that’s what made him stand out to me from the rest.

4. yes yes yes yes yes,,,, thank you for pointing that out! some people shit on hoseok’s dance king title because he doesn’t seem to stick out during groupwork and i’m here to tell you that 1) that’s utter bullshit lmao go ahead and watch all the solo fancams i assure you that he is Up There (debatable for certain dances, but he holds top 1 for fire & bst, no question) and 2) he might not go full out bc he’s dancing in a group.

what some fans forget is that he is part of a group, and the whole point when you’re part of a group is that you “take one for the team” and don’t treat it like a solo; you’re not supposed to stick out. even dance line 2.0 (namjin) don’t draw negative attention bc they bust their asses in order to keep up with the rest of the group !!!!!! BECAUSE YOU’RE NOT SUPPOSED TO STICK OUT !!!!!

the whole point is that ur a cohesive unit doing one thing !!!!!!!!!!! you’re supposed to look the same !!!!!!! like…………if you’re really on balance during a performance, you’re not going to do six pirouettes. you finish the double like the rest of the corps, and you book it to your next step. groups thrive in unity, and if you can’t even give that up in order to get your limelight, then i’m sorry: you don’t deserve a solo.

this is why professionals always start out in the corps to prove that they can work well with others, handle the roles given to them, dance as a collective, and then use their work ethic/diligence to stand out during classes & rehearsals to show the artistic director that they’re ready to be promoted to a higher ranking. you demonstrate that you can handle a group environment before anything else 

hoseok doesn’t outshine the others because that’s not his job, and that is not what he is there to do. he is purposefully coexisting with the group in order to make the dance look & feel cleaner

5. kinda going off the fourth point: i agree, once again. he still showcases that he’s pushing himself, but not to the point where he purposely outshines the others. the discipline that comes with purposeful restraint is often overlooked, and i would never slander a dancer for doing so. if i know how far someone’s able to go, i can also appreciate how far they reign themselves in.

ofc, there’s the rare moment when hoseok Really lets loose like the iconic extended choreo for fire during MAMA 16 and you can see how much farther/harder/faster/stronger/full out he’s going compared to the rest of the group. there was a comment that remarked how he made the rest of bts look like his backup dancers, and i can’t agree more. lol i ain’t even biased, just watch from 4:43 onward.

when he jumps, he jumps higher than the others. when he turns his knees in, his feet are spread farther apart than the rest of the members, even though the choreo is fast and the wider your stance is, the slower you’re able to move. he makes every step clear. it’s precise, it’s sharp. his arms move quick, but they hit every position. there is no perceived rush that comes with not knowing what’s coming next or being late

the usage of his head, the ability to go move so fast but still remain fluid (rolling through his chest, loose shoulders, placed arms), jumping farther, traveling more, generally taking up more space than the others w his limbs, making things look incredibly energetic, are all key factors that put him up on another level. yes, someone can move their head, but hoseok moves it further, yes, someone can kick their leg out, but hoseok kicks his further (even so that it’s no longer within his center of balance, and i genuinely fear for him)

not to mention!!! 9 minutes into killer choreography and he is still slaying the facials. his charisma is off the charts, and it’s clear that he’s having so much fun???? he engages the audience with his expressions & isn’t afraid to use it to work the crowd, which is something i’m missing from others bc (as with all dancers) they sometimes get caught up too much with technique instead of performance. also his stage-to-audience connection is Insane. it’s so hard to do it right w/o looking like you’re staring someone down or alienating them, so basically

the ability to keep up/go beyond with fast choreo while also making it engaging thru stage presence is incredibly difficult and is another factor that puts hoseok above the rest of bts in dance
