Fan Servant Patxi - with a twist
So tyi, there are a few things you need to know about this sheet before-hand:
1) I posted this on Spacebattles.com a while back, so in the off-chance you saw it before, yes that was me. It’s posted here: https://forums.spacebattles.com/threads/create-your-own-actual-servants-thread-sheet-index-is-in-informational-threadmarks.234728/page-244
2) It was inspired by the FGO WMG page on TV Tropes, which is a wild, lawless hole hidden behind the shiny white interfaces of that orderly website. So. It’s a bit out there.
Without further ado! Here’s the sheet!
“It’s you! You made it! Remember me? It’s me, Patxi. Well, I guess I might as well do this. Servant, Patxi Hahya, Foreigner class, here to help you out again. …Man, that sounded peppy as hell. “I didn’t know you had a surname”? Nah, it’s not mine. There’s this old dude named Simo Hahya here, he lets me use it. Why a Foreigner…? What exactly IS a Foreigner?”
True Name: Patxi Hahya
Aliases: The Rebel Yaga, the White Death, Fenrir, Vanagandr, Mh’ithrha
Class: Foreigner
Alternate Classes: Archer, Assassin, Avenger, Alter Ego
Alignment: True Neutral
Lore:
Ever since he was born, Patxi lived in the frozen wasteland that was Yaga Russia, struggling every day, for survival, against the beasts, against his fellow Yaga, against the disease that took his mother’s mind.
Until they came. The people from Chaldea. Strangers. Humans. They promised change. They told him the world would end. They told him the sky was blue. He could hardly imagine it, but he shed his blood for that sky. Because their struggle had an end. Because they were happy, before all this.
He found himself in a forest, blood still on his clothes but no longer bleeding, his wounds as if frozen in time. The forest was dense, the snow thick and the sky as cloudy as he had ever known it, but he could not recognize any of it. He had never been here before.
He walked and found a human. An old man with a rifle worn but well loved, small in stature but the scars in his face told he survived incredible things, dressed in white so that he nearly vanished in the snow.
The old man told him he was hunting a huge beast. That it had somehow escaped its bonds and that nobody could catch it. He asked for help. Patxi accepted.
They must have traced that forest for hours. Maybe days. Time lost its meaning as Patxi found scents that seemed to have come from nowhere. There was no sound, only fear. He smelled smoke but there was no fire.
They found a footprint and it was a beast larger than he could grasp.
And so they walked. It was neither night or day. He was hungry but had no desire to eat. He was tired but had no desire to sleep. They were distant sensations that did not matter anymore.
They found not one beast but many, hiding beneath the branches of the trees as if there was no other place that could fit them, their shape impossible to describe but dead and animal-like, their only trail a blue ichor in the snow, the foul scent that Patxi was tracking emanating from it. They were sniffing the ground like a pack of wild beasts.
The old man told Patxi that the hounds were after him.
“Why?”
“Because you’re not supposed to be here.”
That was true enough.
So they started setting traps for them. Occasionally they landed a shot on them. The old man’s aim was impeccable, his stance blending with the snow and his shot easy as breathing. Patxi had never been in such awe of a shot before – it wasn’t thunderous and bold like Billy’s or desperate like his own. It simply was. Patxi could only dream of making a shot like that.
The old man smiled, as much as he could with half his face ruined, and said that he had practice.
And so they kept walking. Tracking. No matter how long it took. The forest blended together with itself and their own tracks lost their shape as well. It did not matter. Their place did not matter. Time did not matter. They had a beast to hunt.
They caught a glimpse of it, once. The great beast that escaped. Bigger than the forest, bigger than the mountain, resembling the Yaga in more ways than one, yet somehow he knew that they could never hope to compare to it. Its fur rippled with fire and rage, torn golden fabric adorning its form like broken chains, shining like the sun.
It was like its mere presence marked something into his soul. Something changed. Something deep and irrevocable, something that could never be taken back. His fate, and the old man’s, would now be forever tied to that beast.
Patxi fired a shot at it. There was no way it could have reached it, let alone killed it. It vanished. But they knew. It was still here. In this forest. Perhaps it was not even a forest at all. Oh well.
Patxi and the old man exchanged a glance, and nodded in silent agreement.
They continued the Hunt.
Patxi had no way of knowing this, but the beast he saw was Fenrir, and Mh’ithrha freed it from its bonds. When did this happen? Irrelevant. Time has no meaning to Mh’ithrha.
To say that this is an odd servant would be an understatement. When summoned, these four different existences that are only connected by association of concepts with each other are merged together. Out of them, only Simo Hahya is a traditional Heroic Spirit. Patxi has no legend to speak of, Fenrir is a Divine Beast so summoning him should be impossible, and Mh’ithra, while native to the Earth, is a being that has no sense of space and time to speak of. When manifested, Patxi serves as a Pseudo-servant for them all, with him at the driver’s wheel. He’s primarily merged with Mr. Hahya, as they have a lot in common, but sometimes Fenrir’s form will emerge through Patxi’s as their shapes are similar, and Patxi also displays Mh’ithrha’s spacetime travel abilities without even realizing it. He seems to be lost a lot of the time and unaware of his exact location – any and all sense of time and space he’s retained are connected to the location of his target.
With a Master he seems a lot more grounded, but there’s no guarantee the Master won’t get dragged in this strange hunt of theirs.
Parameters
Attribute: Earth
Traits: Animal Characteristic Servant, Brynhildr’s Beloved, Demonic Beast Servant, Divine, Divine Spirit, Earth or Sky, Hominidae Servant, Immune to Pigify, Male, Pseudo-Servant, Threat to Humanity, Weak to Enuma Elish, Wild Beast
Strength: B
Agility: B
Endurance: B++
Mana: D-
Luck: D
Class Skills
Divinity B+
A result of being marked by Fenrir, Mh’ithrha and the Hounds of Tindalos as their hunter. Whenever they go, Patxi and Simo Hahya will follow them. It is a gift beyond mortality, and thus they stepped a little into the divine.
Effect: Increases own damage by 185.
Existence Outside the Domain B+
Two of the components of this strange servant, Patxi and Mh’ithrha, while technically native to the Earth, are very much disconnected from it. Patxi comes from a Lostbelt, a pruned timeline that no longer exists, while Mh’ithrha travels through time and space as it pleases, and is in eternal war with one of the gods from beyond, bringing it to their level. However, their other two components are firmly tied to the Earth, somewhat taming the ranking of this skill.
Effect: Gain two critical stars per turn, and increase own debuff resistance by 9%.
Independent Action (Hunter) EX
A variant of Independent Action. Simo naturally qualifies for the Archer class, and so would Patxi if he was a Heroic Spirit, so even when manifested in a different class it makes sense they would have a rank at Independent Action. However, due to the Hunt, and Mh’ithrha’s interference, they are “anchored” to the presence of Fenrir, Mh’ithrha and the Hounds of Tindalos. As a result, Patxi can last indefinitely even without a Master and manifest anywhere, but he has no actual control of where he’s going as it must be related to the Hunt.
Effect: Increase own Critical damage by 10% and increase own C. Star gather rate by 10%.
Insanity D
Due to the repeated travels, Patxi and Simo are not all there in the head, especially when taking the almost complete disconnection from the basic concepts of time and space into account. They are both perfectly fine when they are sufficiently anchored somewhere.
Effect: Increase own Buster effectiveness by 4%.
Magic Resistance EX
As a whole, it is very difficult to rank this servant’s Magic Resistance because each of the component Spirit Origins has different ranks at it. Simo practically doesn’t have this skill since he’s an exceptionally recent modern spirit with no contact with the mystic whatsoever, Patxi has it at Rank D because his Lostbelt has more mystery and he’s technically a Demonic Beast, Fenrir has it at A and Mh’ithrha at EX. So in effect, when summoned as a Servant and the four are lumped together, the rank of this skill depends on who is exercising the greatest influence at the time.
Effect: Increases own debuff resistance by 25%.
Presence Concealment A+
A skill normally reserved for Assassins (which Simo actually qualifies as). Between Simo’s reputation as the White Death and his astounding sniper rifle kill count, Patxi’s whole life being a hunter, and Mh’ithrha’s ability to travel through time and space, they’re near impossible to spot.
Effect: Increases own Critical Star generation rate by 10.5%.
Personal Skills
Natural Body (Yaga) C
As a Yaga, Patxi naturally has incredible durability, endurance, strength, speed, enhanced senses, resistance to most toxins, incredible pain tolerance, incredible resistance to cold, and a number of other bonuses. The Yaga are definition of “surviving in tough conditions” after all. However, between the heavy injuries that killed him, and the injuries that Simo suffered in life, all of which happen to be on the left side of his body, Patxi’s movement is hindered in comparison to what he was capable of, and he experiences constant chronic pain. He needs to sit down and rest to take full advantage of his skill.
Effect: Decrease C. Star gather rate [Demerit], grants self debuff resistance for three turns, and gain HP for three turns.
Hunter of the Frost A++
A skill that three of the four components of this servant have, which justifies its very high rank. Patxi has been hunting in the frozen plains and forests of Yaga Russia for his whole life, Simo spent most of his life doing the same, and that’s excluding him hunting humans in the same conditions, Fenrir is a wolf from Scandinavia. When in a frosty landscape, there’s absolutely no way anything can escape them.
Effect: Apply Sure Hit (1 turn) and increase own attack while in [Frost] field (three turns).
---> Hunter of the Cosmos EX
Mh’ithrha’s version of the same skill. While the other components specialize in the cold unforgiving landscapes of northen Europe, Mh’ithrha’s hunt is one that spans time, space, planets, and even the dimensions. Perhaps it surpasses reason itself. It is simply a matter of fact. A concept. No matter where, when, or what you are, you will be hunted.
Effect: Apply Ignore Defense (1 turn), increase own attack (three turns) and apply bonus on-hit effect: normal attacks may inflict Death debuff.
Prophet of the End A-
A strange skill possessed by those who foretell, are symbols, or perhaps even aid the coming of the Apocalypse. Patxi knew that his world would be destroyed, yet instead of trying to stop its destruction he knowingly aided those who carried it out. Fenrir himself was one of the monsters that brought the gods to their end and his freedom marks Ragnarok. The presence of the Prophet means that the end is nigh, and little can be done to avoid it. Perhaps you should wish they leave soon.
Effect: Gain critical stars for three turns, decrease party’s critical star absorption by 100% for three turns except self, and increase your critical damage for three turns.
Noble Phantasms
For the Blue, Bright Sky (Bequeathal of the First and Last Wish) D
Anti-Unit (army)
Range: 30 meters
Maximum Targets: number of people in the designated area
Patxi’s Noble Phantasm. His last moments, in which he gave his own life, and by doing so, betrayed his own world, for the sake of an imagine described to him by strangers. Patxi’s last words, his last desire, his first true desire, marked the Master of Chaldea for all that was to come, and strengthened their resolve. This is what marked Patxi as special in comparison to all else, as he drew the fire of his own people to himself.
Effect: Apply Target Focus to self (treated as buff) [Permanent] for three turns, and apply On Death effect: gain Critical Stars (effect increases with Overcharge), and increase attack and Critical strength for all allies (effect increases with Overcharge).
White Death (A Perfect Shot from the Endless White) B
Anti-Unit
Range: unknown
Maximum Targets: 1
The legend of Simo Hahya, the man known as the deadliest sniper of all time. While the accounts, both official and unofficial, wildly vary, Simo Hahya has been credited with hundreds of deaths, and was used as a tool of propaganda by the Finnish army, blowing up his reputation even further. In essence, this Noble Phantasm allows Simo to make the perfect shot, and kill the target from anywhere, all while remaining completely unseen and undetected. Furthermore, since it’s simply just a shot, activating and maintaining this Noble Phantasm has a very low cost. It’s more of a technique or a meeting of conditions that a mystery.
Effect: Apply Damage Plus [Humanoid], [Human], and deal huge damage to one enemy. Chance to inflict Death (effect increases with Overcharge).
Gleipnir (The Third Divine Fetter) A+++
Anti-Unit
Range: on contact
Maximum Targets: 1
One of Fenrir’s Noble Phantasm, and one of the few that has a physical form. Gleipnir is the last of the three fetters that Odin tried to trap Fenrir with, and the one that he couldn’t break regardless of his strength. It looks like ribbons of golden silk and is just as smooth to the touch, but no matter how much effort Fenrir put, the bindings just wouldn’t break. Fenrir was only freed from them when Ragnarok came. Now that he’s free, Fenrir kept Gleipnir, and he uses it for his own ends. When manifested as a servant as part of this group, he allows Patxi and Simo to use it, but he turns against them once the Hunt resumes.
Effect: Chance to inflict Stun [Permanent] to one enemy for three turns (chance increases with Overcharge).
The Hounds of Tindalos (The Oldest Predators of Earth and the Cosmos) EX
Anti-Unit
Range: EX
Maximum Targets: unknown
Mh’ithrha’s Noble Phantasm, if it truly can be called that. The Hounds of Tindalos are called such not because they’re canids, but because they behave like them, being pack hunters. Their origins are routed in the most distant past of Earth, when all other life was at the bacteria stage, and they are the loyal followers of Mh’ithrha, the strongest of their kind. They are capable of materializing through acute corners, and are described as “inhabiting the corners of time as opposed to the curves”. They are also known to purposefully target humans and time travelers. Under normal conditions, this means they target Patxi, but when he is summoned as a Servant as part of the collective, they serve him due to Mh’ithrha’s influence. When they dematerialize, the Hunt resumes.
Effect: Apply Ignore Defense (one turn), Special Attack [Anti-Foreigner], inflict huge damage to one enemy, and inflict poison for 10 turns (effect increases with Overcharge).
Bond Levels
Bond 1
Height/Weight: 183 cm / 80 kg
Source: Lostbelt, Historical Fact, Norse Mythology, Cthulhu Mythos
Region: North Europe
Alignment: True Neutral
Gender: Male
It’s Patxi! …But… why a Foreigner?
“It’s been a long time… A really, really long time… How long? I have no idea.”
Bond 2
By some miracle, Patxi manifested as a Pseudo-servant of Simo Hahya, a famous Finnish sniper who was known as the White Death. However, while one would expect him to be an Archer or an Assassin, he has mysteriously manifested as a Foreigner. According to Patxi, he and Simo met in a forest while Simo was hunting a huge beast, but that doesn’t really explain his class. He definitely fights like an Archer or an Assassin; he has his good old trusted gun and an old-fashioned sniper rifle that belonged to Simo, and switches between them depending on the occasion.
“Hahya is an incredible shot… I thought that Billy guy is amazing, but this old dude? His hunting skills are incredible. None of the guys back in Smolensk were half as good as him. It’s like the bullets are part of himself, he just breathes them. And he has so many fantastic tips on how to hide or track things, I figured a good chunk of it myself, but having someone explain it and make sense is amazing. … “White Death”…? … … He doesn’t want to talk about it…”
Bond 3
There are two other Spirit Origins mixed in here. First is Fenrir, the Wolf that devoured the Aesir at Ragnarok, while the other is a strange being called Mh’ithrha that strongly resembles Fenrir. Patxi and Simo Hahya appear to have come in contact with it while hunting Fenrir, though their relationship seems to be antagonistic to an extent. Usually it’s Patxi who is in control of the body, with Simo occasionally piping in, but sometimes… sometimes… you can feel the other ones watching…
“Why am I a Foreigner…? What the hell’s a Foreigner? Is it because I’m from this – how did you call it, a Lostbelt? … “That’s not it at all”…? That… Never mind. I know the answer. Don’t ask me about it ever again.”
Bond 4
[[For the Blue, Bright Sky]]
Rank: D Type: Anti-Unit (Army)
Range: 30 m. Targets: designated area
The memory is as clear as day, as if it happened only yesterday. When he pushed you aside and took all the bullets that were meant for you, when he yelled at you that he’d never forgive you if you gave up on fighting for your world and your happiness, when he told you that you were right to fight. This is that Noble Phantasm. It hurts but at the same time, it’s his promise. The one that says “I will protect you no matter what”.
[[White Death]]
Rank: B Type: Anti-Unit
Range: EX Targets: 1
Simo Hahya’s reputation as a sniper in a nutshell. As far as modern history is concerned, he is the greatest sniper to have ever lived. That reputation is enough to make his shot as precise and magnificent as that of the greatest hunters of old, the most well-known folk heroes. A perfect, invisible shot, as if made by a ghost. He’s not proud of it. Not at all. But it is what it is. That was what he thought in life, and that is the sin he carries in death.
[[Gleipnir]]
Rank: A+++ Type: Anti-Unit
Range: on contact Targets: 1
An extremely long rope that appears to be made from golden silk, torn up in various places. Despite being torn though, Patxi assures you that it’s probably the best rope that has ever been made. “If it wasn’t so flashy I would use it for anything”. That said, this thing is a Divine Construct, so Patxi’s definition of “everything” probably comes off as blasphemous somewhere… Surprisingly, despite being a Divine Construct, Patxi doesn’t seem to have issues maintaining it.
[[The Hounds of Tindalos]]
Rank: EX Type: Unit
Range: EX Targets: 1
There’s absolutely no way of telling what those things are and where they came from, but they act like wolves. Patxi can summon them whenever he wishes, but it seems they are not actually materialized but rather they teleport to his side from a different location. There also seems to be an underlying tension between him and the Hounds. Then again, the Hounds don’t seem to like anyone in Chaldea… Is that really a Noble Phantasm?
“That thing that Hahya and I are hunting… I think it came with us. And, there’s something else too… When we saw it, we felt something change. I dunno, it just changed us. I don’t think we’ve done anything than hunt it since then. Hell, we’ve been following it so it makes sense it follows us. Goddamn it.”
Bond 5
Natural Body (Yaga): C
Strangely enough, while Patxi is still incredibly tough, he seems to have more issues with his body than he did in life. Da Vinci thinks it must be chronic pain from all those shots that killed him, and Simo Hahya also had a ton of injuries in his left side, so all of it probably adds up. At any rate, he can’t strain himself as much as he used to, but he seems oddly fine with that. He doesn’t regret it.
Hunter of the Frost: A++
Patxi was always a good marksman, even Holmes commented on it, but now? Now he’s just incredible. He adopted a slower and more deliberate hunting style to accommodate his injuries, but if anything that seems to have elevated his skills to incredible heights. His tracking skills are better than ever too. Patxi gives all the credit to Simo for this. You could say he’s a Simo Hahya fanboy.
Prophet of the End: A-
He refuses to talk about this skill, but there’s one thing that’s for certain: Patxi feels incredibly guilty for it. Almost as if he feels responsible for the destruction of his world.
“I know I’ve been confusing you but… Thanks. Really. Both of us. Thanks to you being here I can keep my head straight. I want to see the world you’re fighting for. I know I’m nothing compared to the servants here but… Thanks. For everything.”
Extra
The Patxi you met in the Lostbelt is very different from the Patxi you know now. You knew him as focused at all times, the voice of reason in many situations, and very, very hurt. Even if he had a hard time understanding some things due to how alien they were to him, he was still determined until the end, once he faced his fears. But now he seems… detached. Distracted. He looks around like he’s seeing something else. You have to remind him where he is at times. Others he just shows up behind you, and he can’t tell you how he got there. It’s frightening… But deep inside, he’s still the same person beneath. Brash, and loyal. He grew up too.
“I know I haven’t really explained things, and I’m not sure HOW to explain them… But after I died, I found myself in a forest and met Hahya. He told me he needed help hunting a huge Beast, Fenrir, and I figured I should help, but then… I don’t know what happened. There’s something helping Fenrir and we ended up getting dragged along with it… I tried paying attention to my surroundings a few times – explore a bit, you know – but… I have no idea how we end up there half the time, and the rest of the time my head feels ready to burst from the shit we see… So I’m not looking. At all. I only focus on Fenrir, or our talks with Hahya. Absolutely nothing else. Otherwise I feel like I’ll break. Hahya’s the same way as me. But thanks to you, we can finally see the world. I get to enjoy travelling. I know I’ve said it plenty of times, but thanks. I got to make it up to you somehow.”
Interactions
Ivan the Terrible
H-how is he here? I thought he wasn’t a servant!? … “It’s the Proper Human History Ivan but with the body of his Lostbelt version”…? …I mean, humans are way weaker than the Yaga so that makes sense, but why did you summon him!?
Anastasia (any version)
The ice Tzariza… I’m not sure if I hate her or not, but she makes me uncomfortable… She’s just so happy. It doesn’t seem like she remembers anything that happened in Russia though. I guess that’s a relief…
Cu Chulainn Caster
Who’s the guy in the blue hood? The Caster Cu Chulainn? …Can you tell him to stay away from me? That wolf is getting antsy around him for some reason… “I don’t know what you’re talking about but he probably knows already”? Who the hell is that guy!?
Abigail Williams (any version)
...Do us both a favour, and keep us away from each other. Who? I don’t know what it looks like here but the Hunt started with him, I just got dragged in that mess. …You have no idea what I’m talking about, do you. Tch, pretty sure it’s another Foreigner servant. I’ve been avoiding them but give them a heads-up anyway, okay? I don’t want to start a fight.
Koyanskaya (any version)
What… is that ‘suka… doing here. “Employer-employee contract?” What the fuck is that!? What do you mean, you’re not sure!?
Dobrynya Nikitich
…That pink ‘suka has PARENTS!? And a dragon slayer!? I, uh… need to process this… Wait, Nikitich is a male name, that’s a woman. …Had to possess his wife’s body…? That sounds… VERY awkward.
Sherlock Holmes
Holmes keeps avoiding me for some reason. What’s up with that? …He avoids Foreigners in general? Weird.
Antonio Salieri
Salieri… I think I saw you play music to the others… That did happen, right? Uh, thanks. Really.
If you have any Norse Mythology servants
I feel like they want me dead? Well, probably not me but the beast. Yeah, sorry, I know I don’t make much sense… It’s like, I can sense them but I don’t want to see them because I get a bad feeling. Sorry. What do I sense? Well, I know they come from somewhere as cold as Russia…
Likes
Stuff I like? Eh, everything! The sky’s gorgeous, the food’s great and everything’s so freaking weird but it’s good weird, you know? And nobody’s glaring at me just for existing, so that’s new… Yeah, I really like it here.
Dislikes
Stuff I hate… Death. I know it sounds weird coming from me but… yeah. I really hate it. “It’s okay to hate these things”, huh…? Thanks.
About the Holy Grail
The Holy Grail? That’s the thing that can grant all your wishes, right? What I want… I wish this blue sky stays forever. Wait, it’s not just blue, right. It has more colours than I could imagine. I think… I want to stay somewhere long enough to enjoy it. Yeah, that’s it. …Wait, do we really need the Grail for that?
Event
Get up, Ritsuka. Something happens. Where? Don’t worry, I can take you there. You’re tougher than you look so you can handle the trip.
Master-Servant Relationship
What do I think of you being my Master? I dunno, it’s weird. I mean, we already knew each other. And I don’t think Hahya was ever summoned as a Servant before, so we have no experience on that… Whatever. You’re my friend. YOU decided that, remember?
Extra stuff not mentioned in the sheet!
Regardless of WHEN you summon him, Patxi has the exact same lines, so it’s entirely possible you get hit with all this bullshit while still in the Solomon arc. This is the result of his connection with Mr’ithrha screwing his concept of time.
He does remember getting shot, but he doesn’t remember dying. The wounds on his chest are still there, but not bleeding.
Not in his “My Room” dialogue (I probably should add it later), but I found out after I wrote this that dogs in Lovecraft are always uneasy around things that have been touched from the beyond because they can sense them. This means that Patxi can track Mh’ithrha easier than Simo Hahya, other animal-like servants - and ESPECIALLY Lobo - are uneasy to aggressive around him, and if he ever pops up in Yaga Russia everyone will be extremely on the edge with him.
His Noble Phantasm changes depending on whose in control - however, all of them are toned down so Patxi is physically capable of handling them.
The reason his attribute is “Earth” is because nobody other than Chaldea know or can prove that Patxi existed.
The class qualifications: Avenger refers to Fenrir mostly, though Mh’ithrha specifically targetting time and cosmos travellers is also a red flag here. Alter Ego is what Patxi would be if it was any entity other than Mh’ithrha thrown in there.
Simo Hahya is a proper Heroic Spirit with a legend and all - he just got dragged into this mess. He has extremely high compability with Patxi because of the very similar lives and backgrounds. If he manifested as “Simo Hahya”, he would end up using Patxi as a vessel anyway.
How did Simo get dragged into this mess: I haven’t thought about that too much to be honest, but I wanted to create a hunter vs hunter dynamic that gets mirrored. Patxi gets a teacher figure to admire just like Fenrir has an outer god helping him.
No Bond CE? Well, I haven’t come up with one yet... Where do I even start?
And this is my sheet! I hope you liked it!
