finally i can stop sitting on this egg. i just... the last few... several... many months have been. H E H. long and meandering. but always full of some sorta growth. and that is good.

I ask nobody, you know George Kamitani? The Vanillaware artist guy. Him art good, but he made himself well known in one way, for giving female characters with power over death some tiggum bitties. Where a typically plump, female body is associated with fertility, life, creation, he gave fucking Odette in Odin Sphere, Queen of the Dead, gigantic breasts hanging off a skinless rib cage. The sorceress in Dragon’s Crown. Like bro, calm down. Right on, though. Oh man. I gotta finish Grim Grimoire one day. That one purple Victorian goth lady… that guy that got turned into a really pretty lion. Dumbledore, but Japanese.

Anyway. Halvah’s mom is indeed big earth mama type that runs on Soulsborne logic, bigger is stronger (re: Ganondonk); but they’re all ghostmancers, spiritmages, undertakers. They all commune with and shepherd the dead.

Small, happy husband. And the musically inclined twin brothers I awkwardly squeezed in to the side. But the menfolk weren’t strong enough to persist after death, so they rest peacefully. And Halvah and her mom just fucking… haunt shit. But mom like being a ball because she’d be too intimidating in full form ~
