Gladiator does not need a sequel!
Knowing Ridley Scott reputation with resurecting his own movies my biggest fear is that it would have been Prometheus all over again, also knowing the climate of the modern Hollywood Lucius is probobly be worst than Comoddus, and the movie will probobly shit on the Russel Crowe character from the first movie like 10 bucks that they'll make him a deadbeat dad who cheated on his wife and had like a trousand bastards and probobly was not even a good general that his legioneres loved and supported and that titul will probobly go to the titular girlboss character beacuse ofc that woman could be a general in the Roman Empire of all things.

Ok but I NEED TO TALK ABOUT MY TWO FAVOURITE FRAMES FROM THE BROS HUG
After the first hug, Mario immediately goes to gently cup and pull Luigi's face towards him. He needs to take in that his brother is right here. He needs to make sure that he's not hurt.
And stars help Bowser if Luigi was!
THE FOREHEAD TOUCH
Oh stars the forehead touch. So much meaning in this one moment ❤💚
Now, forehead touches can have various meanings in many cultures; but in general, touching ones forehead to another person's is a way to get across love, soothe anxiety, and can be seen as a protective gesture.
And that's exactly what's happening here. The Bros are grounding themselves in the moment. And look at the way their eyes meet! In various cultures as well, the eyes are believed to be windows to the soul. The Bros are not just communicating through their physical affection - they are healing each other's hearts.
And given what they have been through, they need it 💗
In this one moment, the Bros can forget about the terror and danger around them.
In this one moment, they are able to focus on the one thing that matters the most to them.

Also a side note: Luigi doesn't say a word during this exchange (not counting after, when he makes the bear comment 😁). And some will probably think "Oh man that sucks!", but honestly it says a lot about these characters. Luigi chooses to remain silent, because he knows that if he attempted to speak in that moment, he would burst into tears and be unable to stop💧

Vivien, dear Vivien - an exquisite actress, thoughtful, fearless, gracious, and enormously kind. A lovely little pink cloud floating through the lives of all her friends, hovering over the setting sun, and thinking of everyone but herself.
Olivier was a first-rate actor and a second-rate person. Larry always wanted to be a big movie star, and while he was considered the greatest actor on the stage, he was never in the first rank as a star in the movies. Then Vivien comes along and gets Scarlett O’Hara. Wins the Academy Award. Biggest picture ever made. Suddenly Larry says, ‘Oh darling, we really must get you out of Hollywood now. Let’s go off and do Shakespeare together.’ Now Vivien could do anything, but he was clearly trying to keep her in her place, which was billed beneath him. Then a few years pass and Vivien returns to make Streetcar. And she’s brilliant. Wins the Academy Award. Most talked-about movie of the year. And suddenly Larry says, ‘Oh darling, we really must get you out of Hollywood now. Let’s go off and do Shakespeare together.’ Small man. Giant actor. Very small man.
