Hi, super sorry that I've been dead!
I don't plan on that happening again; but I also didn't plan on that happening in the first place... so. Yea.
Anyways; I've been learning a lot about International Criminal Law, so I might post my notes on that pretty soon.. it'll deal with things like WWI/II and what came of the genocides of those two moments in history.
Anyways, I hope you have a wonderful day!

History of the world: part ii, episode 1 is safe!
History of the world: part ii, episode 2 is not safe!
The opening sketch is about D-Day (preceded by a title card) and focuses entirely on v* as the primary joke. Full audio and visual for all instances. Once I realized the sketch was headed this way (less than two minutes in, and already having seen two instances), I just skipped to the second sketch. The second sketch is titled "The Story of Jesus," also preceded by an all-black title card, which makes it easy to identify when skipping. The rest of the episode was 100% safe.
I'm still watching the series, and I will be sure to come back as I do!

Thought of the Day:
Inserting myself into the age old debate on the existence of an intelligent species outside our planet (aliens). Scientists have theorized that intelligent life might exist elsewhere but is so far away that contact may not be possible in our lifetimes. However here is where I argue:
We are only theorizing within the context of our own existence which has been extremely short-lived in context of time on the planet. Who is to say aliens have not ALREADY come here BEFORE we were intelligent enough to theorize their existence?? Why do humans limit their understanding only within the context of what they already know?? Especially considering that we still don't know a lot about the universe yet being limited in our own human abilities and technology. Who is to say they aren't already here, again, considering the previous statement?
It's been discussed that humans as another animal species have a general fear of the unknown. So even when Athiests claim that because science hasn't proven the existence of XYZ that they don't believe it exists until proof is given, it comes from a place of fear of not knowing something, a place of ego and primitive extinct of survival. You can also question atheists whether they believe in the existence of life outside our planet which science hasn't definitively proven yet, but we can save that for another debate.
Conclusion: Just because we haven't proven it yet doesn't mean you throw the baby out with the bathwater. Aliens could have lived on this planet trillions of years ago and all evidence of their existence could have been erased with time. For all we know aliens could have created us as a genetic experiment. The point is that you have to keep an open mind and not let human ego get in the way.
