Dottore with a stoic and buff but absolute puppy inside reader? 🥺🥺 Like on the outside, they have this irritated frown on their face all the time, but here they are forcing themselves into his lap while he's trying to work?? Especially when they're taller than him and it just looks silly... Picking him up and carrying him around!! (Even when he shrieks about putting him down because it's humiliating) Setting him down onto their lap and squeezing him, nuzzling into him and pressing little kisses all over his face... They're definitely more brawn than brains... but that's useful for when he needs materials from monsters! Except for the fact that they are eepy. Cat naps everywhere!!! Dottore spots them sleeping on the floor of his lab? He can't walk past them or else they'll pull him down by the ankles and force cuddle him on the hard floor. (It's a wonder they can even sleep on such a hard surface...) They whine and pout about being forced to go out to get materials for him, but they'll do it if it means they get to cuddle later!! They definitely bug his segments too! They will scoop a few of them up and force them into a cuddle pile (No amount of biting or yelling will stop them) Dottore is also definitely a bit bugged about them being taller than him... (I imagine when he was still in the akademiya, he was very bothered when they grew taller than him..) His subordinates probably fear them a little bit... considering their stature, and their whole demeanor of looking like a threatening hound personified. But then they see them with Dottore and they're like '???' They walk past him and casually press a kiss to his cheek? They slump over him from behind, pressing their whole weight into him and whining about wanting to nap with him?? Dottore is honestly rather amused at how... submissive they are? So threatening in appearance yet they'll do whatever he says (even if they pout and whine a little about it) especially in bed too... Overall, Dottore still loves them, even if you don't realize they're own size and weight and the fact that they are basically crushing him... This got so so long, I'm so sorry, but I am full of thoughts and they are overheating my brain 😭😭😭 (Also, have you seen the Neuvillete drip marketing? He is so 🤤🤤 It's something about blue men..)

I like Hubert in part because he's one of the simpler examples of a FE trope that 3H often tries to subvert or play with in it's cast, and also one of the most well-executed; his subversion is just “sadistic and unapologetically evil dark mage counselor Gharnef archetype, but he's a fully-realized playable character”, which makes for unique dynamics and conversations between him and the rest of the cast in his supports that aren't often seen in other FEs and, when coupled with him being the only BESF member with any amount of self-awareness as to how shitty of a person he is, makes him one of the only tolerable parts of CF and SB.

I was joking with a friend, but Hubert feels like the Gharnef-Brunya/Ishtar perfect crossover.

He is the brains behind Supreme Leader's conquest and will follow his plans no matter what, is the one who bribes/blackmails/does all kinds of unsavory things for his plans/is the canon dark magic user lol...

and yet, he will never aspire to become the head honcho of some group or to resurrect an eldritch abomination, no, Hubert's main goal is to support Supreme Leader, because it's heavily implied he loves her - no matter what that costs him or if he has to close his eyes to reality (Hanneman support!).

That's what I liked with FE16, the new take on existing archetypes, and the role reversal - Red Emperor is female, so Brunya/Ishtar will be male, but he will also be a Gharnef!

Naïve Princess who hates the war and senseless fights and puts the wellbeing of her people above everything, especially themselves (even if those people are long dead!) is now a male prince who becomes king!

Hell, the genocide survivor from a tribe of beings who have to hide else they'll be killed by humans, who is known for their singing, who thinks only the Goddess can set things to right in the world and tries to have them return to the land and the head of what would become an empire is now a woman!

He looks down at the little wrapped bundle in his arms, a look of confusion etched onto his face. His eyebrows are furrowed as he looks at the little thing, who looks back at him with equal interest.

Except her eyes are filled with innocence. And they share a resemblance with his. Such a beautiful contrast, you think.

“She is.” You chuckle softly, correcting him, still incredibly tired from the pains of birthing his child. But the sight of the father holding his daughter for this first time was so amusing that you couldn’t help it. “She’s a beauty, isn’t she?”

Sukuna doesn’t respond immediately, still fixated on the small…tiny little thing he’s holding. He’s so uncharacteristically gentle with it…like one mistake and she’ll shatter. He raises a finger to her plump cheek, caressing her soft skin.

“Like you,” he finally responds, as the little girl’s tiny fingers immediately latch onto his, wrapping around them. A soft smile forms on his face as he looks at her, then at you. The wonderful woman who graced his cursed existence with such blessings.

He wants to say something, but a strange…slimy feeling of wetness on his finger prevents him from doing so. He looks at the little one in his arms, slurping on his fingers.

“Oh, so you’re a brat too?” He pulls his finger away, and hell breaks loose. He is even more confused now.

“She’s hungry, Kuna,” you pout, extending your arms from the bed, “Bring her here.”

He shuffles closer to you, his hand working surprisingly gently as he hands the little girl to you, and she immediately latches onto your breast as you loosen the robe to feed her.

“Has my appetite.” He grumbles, causing you to chuckle again. He stays for a while, internally swearing at the sight of you and your little girl— that if anything ever even tries to touch either of you, he will rip the world to shreds, and god knows what ends he’ll get to to keep you safe.

“Brat,” He mumbles, one of his hands resting on your head, making you look up to him as he ruffles your hair slightly. “Thank you.”
