exploding into a thousand tiny little bits actually the red team is soooo pack bonded right now. they r blood brothers they did not commit ritualistic sacrafices just to not latch onto each other for life and become soulmates forever. i can only imagine. like.

phil, baghera, and jaiden give the rest of the team (that are present and willing; mainly charlie, cellbit, and foolish) a crash course on how to preen wings in case another bird isn't there to help. phil gets real sad sometimes when helping jaiden or baghera so they help 'preen' in other ways (pulling chunks of dirt/blood out of his hair and ear feathers when they see them, insisting on including him (and cellbit) in a """manicure night""" (they are just scraping the dirt from under their fingernails with their other fingernails/sticks and using rocks to file).

charlie takes requests on which team to hack into (because his code nonsense lets him switch frequencies and infiltrate the other teams' calls very easily) so people can spy on their other people. phil often asks to know what missa is up to. cellbit obviously asks about roier, and sometimes uses charlie as a middleman to pass messages to his guapito. baghera asks him to check on the other frenchies and often shouts at them through his mic when they're getting on her nerves. if anyone dares bring up her friendship with bbh and why she never asks of him she gives them a facefull of BOLAS??!? bbh slander.

carre is (jokingly) borderline worshipped whenever he wakes up. it becomes an instant confidence boost and is oftentimes the only time you see the entire team trying to gain percentages or kill other teams.

they spill entirely too many secrets to each other too casually. they are going to end the two weeks and some of them will know more about some of them than their spouses do. day one cellbit was admitting to murder and basically admitted to being a cannibal. it only gets worse.

they mostly take getting killed in stride unless it's by a) tubbo b) bbh or c) if someone decides to do it over and over again. BOLAS??!? hatred is unlike normal hatred. if they hate you you will feel unsafe going into the wilderness because They Will Just Lurk There in a group and jump you for no reason other than pettiness. charlie slimecicle literally ran across an entire island to chase bbh with no food no water and Mid tools and armour. for like five minutes. out of blind rage and spite.

I have so many thoughts about this episode dear lord.

HOLY FUCK THE FIRST HOUR OF THIS EPISODE WAS INSANE??? LIKE, INSANE INSANE. ISTG MAN- I COULD NOT. I CANNOT.

Jay being the 'child of the sun' WAS SO FUCKING REAL MAN.

Finding out about Lizzie was actually heart-stopping

CHIP WITH THE "We can't leave her-" VOICE BREAKING, ON THE VERGE OF TEARS- STUCK BETWEEN A ROCK AND A HARD PLACE- GOING BACK TO SAVE HIS SISTER OR CONTINUE FORWARDS FOR HIS FATHER BECAUSE HE CAN NEVER COME BACK??? OH MY DAYS MAN.

Chip leaving the room and Gillion following out after him- the conversation that follows- Jay and the rest of the crew being left in this horrible silence after they leave- I can't.

Gillion with the, "Chip, it's not your fault." (Dead. Dead on the ground. No survivors.)

Chip's 'how did you know I was gonna go off alone?' and Gillion's 'I know you.' (Violent sobbing)

GILLION AND JAY DISCUSSING WAR TACTICS- SOBBING. OH MY LOVES- I SWEAR TO THE LORD ABOVE. I WOULD DIE FOR THEM NO WORD OF A LIE.

Gillion telling Chip to let him and Jay handle it, telling him to try and get some rest; Jay and Gillion talking about how to split their crew, Gillion explaining that he was trained for this. As a soldier. Knowing that this is the worst situation they could've been put in- because he's been the one to put people in the same one before. Jay admitting (as much as she hates to) that she knows. She already knows as much. Because she too was trained for the same exact situation. She doesn't want to admit to herself that she knows what's coming- she knows the odds aren't in their favour- she knows that she might not be able to save them- but she has to try. She just wishes she didn't understand what's going to happen.

QSMP Awards 2024 Summarized

-The audio was scuffed for the first half. I don't mean a little crispy. I don't mean with a slight echo. It was fucked in every way imaginable. The audio sounded like it was going through a blender. Then it kept getting too loud, then too quiet (so much so we couldn't hear), all while being way too crispy. Charlie Slimecicle monologued to the audience while the team was trying to fix it but since the audio was both too crispy and too quiet we couldn't actually understand anything he was saying. This carried on for about 7 minutes with him holding two microphones, neither of which was working, before the stream crashed (again)

-All the staff are apparently Cucurucho, with one of them being a "main Cucurucho"

-Missa wore a "Quackity my beloved" shirt. I could not explain to you what the blazer over it was supposed to be.

-Everyone else at the ceremony was shown through discord call. I'm convinced Charlie has never seen German or Lenay's faces cause he did not know it was them until Quackity said their names

-The screen was supposed to switch between showing all the people on the discord and it kept switching between the same four people. If I have to hear Q, Charlie and Missa chant "Foolish" or "Pol" ever again-

-Mariana showed up and Charlie immediately went into bitter ex mode. He also hit on Mariana. Multiple times.

-We got a patented Ironmouse "coño" and chat lost their shit over Luzu existing, as expected

-Mariana looked like Michael Jackson, Bad's background could've been the set of Breaking Bad, Roier had a ski mask, lots of people learned what Lenay, German and Vegetta's looked like for the first time, and Mike had a kawaii filter

-Somehow Bad didn't even get nominated for Best Cucurucho Jumpscare, showing that even non-red carpet events can produce award snubs (congrats to Bagi!)

-Though I yearned for Maximus getting nominated for his Eh Vegetta prank, we all knew the win had to go to Vegetta for the mines

-The audio eventually became bearable but the echo never fully left. At some point there were like three or four overlaps of Vegetta giving his acceptance speech

-Acau won for Best Death from getting killed by an enderman (in my heart Foolish's accidental death by Pomme's sniper that got him eliminated from the elections won, but we did get Quackity dying to a fly as a nom so I feel complete. Also congrats to Acau!)

-The Qsmp shop is officially open! We got eggie merch :]

-Quackity forgot to roll clips for the Best Purgatory 2 Moment nominees and almost read out the winner before we got the montage (Wuant won! It was the clip of him being told he lost and he accidentally did a flip. They weren't able to get the acceptance speech on stream so we saw it from Quackity's phone)

-Funniest QSMP Moment nominees were all fucking hilarious, its hard to pick just one but Maxo winning for when he respawned after a lore-heavy moment in Pierre's bed to his own moans being remixed into a song absolutely deserved the win

-Saddest QSMP Moment was unnecessary and the admins will be hearing from my lawyers for making me relive Dapper's first lost life, Dia de los Muertos and the end of Purgatory 1 (Jaiden and Roier saying bye to Bobby won, Roier changed his screen to black and white and held up what looked like a mini Cucurucho being used as a cross)

-Best QSMP Original Song was played prematurely when the category was Best Language Exchange, and we got a spoiler for the winner (YD and Hugo's exchange won and YD's audio was muted so we just saw her Vtuber model getting excited)

-The aforementioned Best Qsmp Original Song had Gordinho Gostosinho looping aggressively over Charlie singing the Juanaflippa song, which I hope to god gets clipped cause it was hilarious (I'm glad the Roier and Cucurucho rap got nominated). Charlie was very confused why they had him announce his own win.

-Best PVP unsurprisingly went to Etoiles for his colosseum Code fight, after all he is the Best🔥 (the other noms were great too, we had Philza vs Tubbo in Purgatory, Bad and Maxo eliminating El Quackity from the elections, and a cute sparring session between Pac and Richas)

-Best Qsmp Fails went to Fit for that time Pac's internet cut out during their date (of course he bragged about his Brasilian boyfriend after learning he won for best loser)(also if it was up to me Quackity's fly deaths would've been added to this category just sayin')

-The audio problems were revealed to have been roleplay the entire time. Yep. All part of the lore.

-Speaking of, most of the winners who were in the discord call could not be heard so they had to give speeches through Quackity holding his phone up to the mic

-Best Roleplayer went to Roier for his Doied arc (the screen prematurely showed him before they could read the announcement, and his speech was him kissing the camera)

-Worst Server House went to Mariana accompanied with the classic clip of him reacting to the admins roasting his started base; Mariana was part of the discord call but left at some point so he couldn't give a speech, to which Charlie jumped on the opportunity to roast his absence like a shark smelling blood (they rightfully nominated Quackity for his clip of Acau reacting to his failure of a starter house, and apparently Carre's base is just his bed on a dirt plot)

-Most Iconic Clip went to Pac for stealing the Qsmp Logo (the other lovely noms included Foolish and co. accidentally closing their house door after a creeper came in an attempt to shut it out, and Tina reacting to a mob giving Felps a blowjob)

-The Most Bankrupt Islander went to Niki for being broke, we stan (during the nom montage we got a passa tudo mention)

-The Creator Who Spent the Most Time on the Server Award went to Bad, which was shocking to no one, although they did use his Barbie Girl clip for the nom montage (they also used Fit wearing a wig for his clip)

-The Qsmp cake for the one year anniversary had the text "FELICIDADES ALBERTO". We do not know who Alberto is. Pol was losing it.

-Tubbo won for The Creator With the Most Deaths (106), while The Creator With Fewest Deaths went to Philza (he only had 1!). Philza was able to be heard through stream but the hosts didn't know this so they would hear him from Quackity's phone and repeat what he was saying even though we could hear him

-Everytime the camera cut back to the hosts Charlie, Quackity and Missa had more cake on their faces

-Most Distance Traveled (in Minecraft) went to Etoiles (6,000+ km jfc)

-Creator With the Most Mob Kills went to Pierre (162,960 mob kills. what the fuck.)

-They accidentally read the award for Creator With the Most Damage Taken (Foolish) during the Best Builder announcement, confusing the shit out of everyone, especially cause the screen showed Mike instead of Foolish. I am still unclear who won Best Builder

-Creator With the Most Blocks Placed went to Mike!!! (MIKE WIN VAMBORAAAAAAAAAAA🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷)

-We had to uncomfortably sit through Missa feeding Charlie cake (and just Charlie in general)

-There was an In Memorium segment of the passed eggs (Quackity shat on a grieiving Charlie for Flippa only lasting 11 days, but in Charlie's words, "to you it was 11 days; to her it was a lifetime"). Charlie commentated and had nothing to say about Trump because he didn't know jack shit about Trump (though he did make a wall joke which is exactly what Maxo would have wanted godbless🙏)

-The stream ended with the discord people saying goodbye, while Roier was holding up the mini Cucuruchos and didn't move the entire time. I know he wasn't frozen because he blinked.

-Maxo sent in his acceptance speech video last minute and Quackity hyped it up as a mysterious final entry but Charlie guessed it was Maxo and spoiled it on accident

-Speaking of, Maxo's entry was him walking around heaven looking for Trump </3

-Charlie gave a heartfelt speech about the people he met through the Qsmp, all while looking like ate out frosty the snowman <3. Missa simpy thanked Alberto (we still do not know who Alberto is)

-Tubbo wasn't present in the discord call because he thought him streaming meant he couldn't join. After the stream Quackity called and Tubbo realized he was allowed to join the whole time

-We ended on a montage of various moments, with a message of excitement looking forward to the next year!

Ok so JuanaFlippa isn’t actually a code like we thought but just an experiment done by the rebels(??) then what is actually happening to q!slimecicle. My main theory is that they experimented on JuanaFlippa and in the process accidentally turned her into an unstable code

Or the code and JuanaFlippa are completely separate and both are targeting slimecicle cause he’s vulnerable at the moment.

ok so like I knowww cut chaos started from rumours but like rumours are an easy way to start plot lines k? (Also I use she pronouns out of habit but they is pog too)

the friends in question: Tommyinnit (duh), Wilbur (moosic boi), Ranboo (generation loss trauma guy), Possibly Slimecicle?? I know he’s not someone you do requests for normally buttt if you’re okay with it that would be POG, or if slime is a no, tubbo!

SO a few months ago Y/N started working on an SMP with some minimal custom mods, some fancy texture packs, maybe some data packs, and its like this BIGGG project, BUT its not public and its taking a lot of her time, so she can only really do a few streams and most of the time because her schedule is so full its hard to work out streams with friends so, she is alone. with the internet being the internet people started to think something was up, some annoyed viewers made a few rumours and people kept making things up and escalating things until people were saying she did all sorts of horrible things to “lose all her friends” but one of the most popular theories was that she was emotionally abusing them (??? Internet wildin ig) she ignored them while mostly finishing the stuff for the smp, but decided to address it in a very- y/n way. Getting four friends to come to her house and hide slightly off camera while she made a purposefully bad apology video only for them to jump out at the end and her to stand up and be like “YALL REALLY THOUGHT I WAS SOME MASTER MANIPULATOR?! I’M JUST A FUNKY LITTLE CHAOTIC MINECRAFT GOBLIN N’ I’VE BEEN WORKING ON AN SMP THIS WHOLE TIME!! ITS GONNA BE SUPER COOL AND THESE FOUR PLUS ALOOOOT MORE PEOPLE ARE GONNA BE THERE I’M POSTING THE CREATORS SOON AND ITS LAUNCHING IN A MONTH!, SO STOP ASSUMING I’M A BAD PERSON AND GET PUMPED BITCHES!” something along those lines, maybe at the end a little peek at what people are responding with. Roaring Rumors

Life was all about sacrifices.

Or, that’s what you keep telling yourself when you’re up at 1AM working on your server. Putting together an SMP is harder than it sounds; texture packs, data packs, comparability, world-building, even the (seemingly) simply act of contacting people to play on it. For the amount of time you spent on your computer, your hands might as well be part of your keyboard.

Sleep wasn’t the only thing you sacrificed. Streaming, even just fun ones with your friends, had quickly became rare. Although you loved to hop on a call while coding still, your online presence had severely receded.

You just keep telling yourself that sacrifices are necessary. That the payoff would be worth it.

And it really would be, but you just had to get there first. Which was proving harder than you had thought.

At the very least, you still had your friends. Wilbur sitting silently on call with you while you work, Tommy dragging you out of your room, Ranboo always willing to get excited over your progress. Every day you woke up with a text from your groupchat—typically Charlie—just filling you in on the latest internet trend by a meme.

Today, your news comes from Wilbur and Tommy.

“I think they’re canceling you.” Wilbur says casually while you’re in the midst of detailing the hunger bar for a texture pack.

“Ooh, you’re a wrong’un!” Tommy yells in the background of Wilbur’s side of the call.

The three of you had been idly chatting while each doing your own thing. Wilbur and Tommy were engaged in some Twitter competition, as far as you know.

“Canceling me for what?” You ask, deciding to ignore Tommy’s shouting.

“Existing, I think.” Wilbur answers.

“So the normal.”

“The normal.”

Although the conversation stops there, you can’t help yourself. Later, during one of the few hours you dedicate to getting sleep to stay alive, you pull open Twitter on your phone. Your last tweet was nearly two weeks ago, so it’s been a minute.

But you just want to make sure nothing horrible happened while you were busy. You’re a content creator, this is normal. Definitely. You definitely aren’t just justifying this so you can do it.

You swipe through tweets, heading to trending and searching your name. Tweets load, making your mouth run dry. Wilbur wasn’t joking.

All you can do is scroll, reading as the messages get wilder and wilder. From people saying they were missing you to theories on why nobody was streaming you. Each one seemed considerably more implausible, and before you know it you’re glaring at your screen like it’s to fault.

Some thought you had grown apart.

Some thought you had a falling out.

And, apparently, a lot thought you were emotionally abusing them. Or, depending on the tweet, manipulating them.

Quite honestly, you didn’t even know how they got the idea. The long threads of explanations did nothing but send you into a spiral, biting your bottom lip so hard that it bleeds.

You were so close to finishing the SMP. It needed just a few things, then you'd be able to start scheduling to get it up and running. You didn't have the time nor mental capacity to deal with whatever the fuck is going on right now.

Is it a good choice? Maybe not. But do you still ignore the accusations? Hell yes.

By the time you get even closer to finishing the preparations for your SMP, you've come up with the perfect plan to address the (quite stupid) rumors. It'll be a two-in-one; you address the rumors and announce the SMP at the same time.

"How long do I have to lay on this floor?" Tommy asks, stretched out behind your chair.

"Nobody asked you to lay on the floor." Wilbur points out, standing next to your computer. Charlie, on the other side, laughs.

"Yeah man, you wanted to be down there."

"Besides, I'm doing great down here!" Ranboo chimes in.

You roll your eyes, grinning. "I'm about to start stream, so it won't be for much longer. Just wait for my cue, yeah?"

Tommy grumbles, but shuts up. You take that as your chance to start the stream, switching it off your waiting screen and waving to the camera. Your chosen stream title has brought in a bit more than your usual casual steam view number, "Talking about some serious stuff," leading people to believe there will be drama. And if it's drama they want, it's drama you'll give.

"Hello, hello!" You smile, leaning back. "So I've decided to talk about some things. Namely, the Twitter shit. I am so sorry for everything, and I mean that. A lot. Sincerely. There's meaning in it."

Tommy snorts, and from the corner of your eye you catch Wilbur kick him to shut him up.

"What am I sorry about?" You ask rhetorically, acting like you read it off of chat. "Oh, you know. People have been saying all types of stuff. The things about me manipulating my friends?" There's a pause while you let that sink in. "So, I'm sorry."

It's a purposefully shitty apology, but you sigh and act like its heartfelt for a few moments, nodding towards chat. Their messages are mostly confused, especially because it isn't one emote-only.

"Sorry you guys are so gullible!" You shout, and Tommy practically tackles you.

Wilbur's the one to fix your chair, Ranboo and Charlie appearing next to you within moments.

"You guys really thought this one could manipulate me? The master?" Charlie asks the stream, pointing at you.

"Yeah!" Tommy shouts, way too energetic for someone who complained five minutes ago about being on the floor. "We're the master manipulators! Get fooled!"

"I, for one, haven't manipulated anyone-" Ranboo starts, but Tommy slaps a hand over his mouth and nods empathetically.

"Yeah, I don't know what you guys were thinking, but I've just been playing fucking Minecraft for the past few months nonstop." You laugh.

"Nonstop. It's a problem." Wilbur nods.

"It is not a problem!" Pause. "Anyways, I made an SMP! And that's where I've been! Not because I've been manipulating my friends or some shit, stop being dumbasses."

"It'll be super cool!" Ranboo adds in helpfully.

"These four-"

"That's us!" Charlie points around at himself, Wilbur, Tommy, and Ranboo.

"-will be on it, plus a lot more. It'll be posting those people soon! As in, check your Twitter obsessively guys! The SMP will be in about a month, too, so get fucking excited! I want to see some hype!"

"WOO!" Tommy screams, making everyone cringe at having their eardrums ruptured.

"So that's all I wanted to talk about I think. Anything to add, guys?" You glance around at the four surrounding you with a grin.

"One thing." Charlie nods, leaning in really close. "I have a secret. This SMP, it's actually-" He hits your end stream button mid-sentence. "And that's how you keep 'em interested."

Lore update: his parents died making that costume??? I am praying that's not Canon because the lore implications are terrifying. (Kinda like the implication of the eggs have teeth)

Anyway, I like to think Charlie is just canonically completely a believer in ghosts, and tells himself hey yah flippa isn't one and then DOUBTS HIMSELF HALFWAY THROUGH 💀

So we know about etoiles encryption right? If not I'll post the file.

Pretty much Juanaflippa is a bigger part of the lore than we realized. Not to mention that there was slime materials and armor....all over the haunted house? Slime armor everywhere. Slime blocks...Slime balls....

But....why?

Why are they there.

His lore, it's involved in everything. Flippas code-ness did this, and he's getting corrupted quickly. It's spreading, there's not alot left to cover before he's gone. So I'm thinking, something bigs going to happen soon.

So we know or I guess assume (I haven’t kept up with slime lore much lately since he streams right as my shift starts)q!Slimecicle is part slime right and slimes are often associated with the ability to shape-shift. Well what if he isn’t actually being infected by the code itself just that his shape shifting is influenced by how he thinks of himself and it’s one of those becoming the monster they believe they are type things?

I’ve been thinking about it and what their connection could be right?

ElQuackity and Jaiden: the Federation

Cellbit and Maximus: the Order

Etoiles and Slimecicle: the Resistance

I feel like this makes the most sense, that each of them were picked based on their factions/affiliations.

ElQuackity being sent by the federation to replace Quackity, and Jaiden working closely with Cucurucho and the fact that I think she actually used to work as a researcher with the Federation (correct me if I'm wrong)

Cellbit doing a lot of the current investigations for the Order and just being the go-to guy for anything conspiracy, and Maximus who I believe started it after Trumpet died, or at the least was one of the founders.

Etoiles having faced the code monsters several times, and now actively working withing them and the Resistance against the Federation, and then Slime, who to be honest threw me off a bit, but I think because CodeFlippa exists along with him being the furthest along in becoming code, him distorting (physically and vocally) all the time, with all the code blocks showing up at his home, and the fact that he'd do anything for CodeFlippa (which includes breaking into federation offices based off his "egg tasks") I think he technically counts as part of the Resistance in some way.

They could be the "cursed team" and have to eventually come together, especially since that specific scene was shown in the video at the beginning of Purgatory where they were also told that there was a cursed team? And they were shown either before or after their teams were announced, so I feel like it's a feasible theory.

But then the fact that no one from Team Soulfire (Blue) is there, so it could be separate, but even then what else could it lead to? What would be the point of singling out these members, if not to hint to the cursed team? Or is it part of a larger plot?

Idk man I'm just so confused like all the time, and honestly i feel like even with this I'm kinda stretching it a bit bc I personally wouldn't count Slime as part of the Resistance (or any of the other ones) but at the same time that's the only correlation between them, that they're all part of some "greater" force on the island.

And even then, we still DON'T KNOW WHAT THE DEAL WITH THE SPECIAL TICKETS IS AND ITS UGHHHHH but thats probably something for like. when they get back to the main island???

I know I mostly lurk on this site but I have had these AU rotting in my brain for a month now so I’m just gonna share it here.

So far I’ve only seen like one person actually write about it on ao3 and I definitely don’t think I’m the only one to ever think about a crossover between JRWI Riptide and QSMP where slimecicle and Gillion are the same person but let me explain how that shit would work from my perspective.

The federation is really RAFT. making quesadilla island not only Navy turf, but really a prison. If I remember correctly they were all called sinners and criminals by the one eyed freak from Purgatory. What if it was some kind of prison for the worst of the worst in RAFTS eyes

And you know how we were seeing the leviathan bones and detailed explanations on the recreations of leviathans with jay at the stronghold in the Black Sea?

…what if the eggs were failed leviathan projects…

So I imagine the communicators as wrist watch type things, and what if the “communicators” not only translated the languages so they could understand each other, but also altered what they saw? What if they made them more digestible for their altered thinking? Yes there are hybrids on the island, gods/demigods as well.. but they are all human looking. Don’t you find it strange that on such a magical island, the craziest creatures to exist are the Dragonborn “eggs”?

So we see when he is in the luxpurus pearl that he had stabbed Jayson in the chest during the peace treaty meeting. The navy could have issued a statement where if the undersea government were to banish Gillion to the island prison, they would not immediately wage war on the undersea. (Keeping an eye on “undersea champion” the one to either wipe out the land or destroy the sea, and the undersea’s greatest protector sounds like 2 major pluses to me)

But he is so ashamed of himself for being banished, he hides his armor, whale bone sword and his shield. You know the shield with the religious symbol.

The symbols he casts ALL of his magic out of!!

because of Gillion’s moist skin, he gets dubbed slime by most of the other island residents.

And he doesn’t question the eggs because, fuck it he was one too!

And of course he is going to marry his egg protecting partner, he was raised religious and a good religious man marries, reproduces and dies in war!! Not only that but he can officiate it himself!!

And what if all their nights of… promising action… was just gill tearoom Mariana how to sword fight. And Flippa told the other residents that she would hear loud grunting downstairs after being put to bed, the other parents took it the wrong way. And Gillion-committed to the bit-Tidestrider and his bitch wife thought it was so funny that they didn’t correct them.

And you know the rampage that Gillion went on if the Fay wild when pretzel was taken From him.. and how he went on a similar rampage when Flippa was killed?

And when he killed Telin, he couldn’t revivafy her because he didn’t have his shield on him. He ended up exiling himself once more for not being able to keep his loved ones safe. Praying everyday to the moon goddess to bring her back, take him instead. Only for one white bear brings the grieving fish more bad news…

And he continues rarely venturing out of his home in eggsile (still training, maybe training more to distract himself) and when he gets word of a big event he might go back to the main island to visit and meet new people.

And then… his birthday happens…

He finds Flippa in that little grove down in the mines… but she’s not acting right… she doesn’t smell right…

And he recognizes the sent…..

The sent of a code monster…

And that is when he decides to leave the island for good.

Maybe he writes a letter for Mariana or any of the people on the island he has become friends with…maybe he rips his communicator off and smashes it to pieces…. He definitely grabs his armor, his sword and shield before he walks out the door… and maybe he looks back at the crack shack he has been living in for one final goodbye…

Diving into the ocean he swims for miles and miles and miles, and when his arms go numb and he can no longer think, his still pushes away from that island. But as the island fades from view… his memories of it also seem to fade..

Turning over to finally let himself rest he looks up at stars, asking the moon for guidance. Hoping she would answer him this time..

And that would be the night he was pulled from the sea.

Only months later would he remember that island.. when his skin was ripped from him and life drained from his eyes. Waking on the fish hook would he remember his friends still trapped on quesadilla island.

And when he runs to protect chip from the beasts attacking him does he remember where he fist smelt that putrid stench, the dim lighting, the moss, the water dripping…

And the thing pretending to be his daughter.

Not knowing how to process this, not know when to bring this to light, he never tells Chip and Jay about his family, well what’s left of it. But that’s okay, curing the sea, finding Arlin and stoping the mole on the Grandberry pirates is far more important than that.

Because the islanders didn’t know slimecicle left. The federation couldn’t afford to let the islanders know that he left. They were able to kill off sprees and Dan easily, But the chosen one was not going to be easy. And someone who the island had saw as poor, weak and helpless?? There would be questions on his disappearance. So the replaced him for the time being.

Sure he doesn’t act quite the same,

they didn’t make him with ALL his memories

And maybe the code was appearing on his clothes and skin.. but he has been latching onto the obvious code that’s been pretending to be his daughter, that’s to be expected right??

I could go on a whole tangent with more world building but I think this post is already too long. I just really wish there was more stuff like this because I rarely see fics or art of this stuff and I’ve kinda been rotting on this since episode 114 and I can’t stop:)

This is the final one of the night, I've decided it. Part four. OK! Here are my thoughts about Generation Loss characters, more specifically:

PART FOUR: CHARLIE SLIMECICLE

Charlie's a really cool character to think about, because he pops up in every single episode as a different character. Most of my other rants tonight have been theories, but this is more of a headcanon about how I believe Charlie came to be in Genloss and Showfall Media, but I'll be backing it up with evidence and things so don't worry about it.

Let's get cracking!

So the common belief, from what I've seen on Tumblr, is that we all seem to think that GL!Charlie grew up in that cabin from Episode 1, because it all looks very childish. Especially the bedroom. We've got a kid bed, a photo of Slimecicle as a child, the ducky thing on the desk, a small chair, a tennis racket, the whole thing. Anyway, so if Slimecicle was raised like that, damn. He lived his whole life to be that part, the Slime Demon. That's rough, Showfall Media. Even for you. Raising a kid for that?

My thought is, and this is where the heavy headcannoning comes in, so there will be little to no evidence from this point forward.

Have you ever read The Maze Runner? Spoilers up ahead if you haven't, so... yeah. In the prequel book, The Fever Code, the main bad guys (the morality surrounding them is complicated), WICKED, houses all these kids in a top secret facility to try to figure out a cure to the almighty plague thingy. These kids are all immune, except for some (*sobs*), and they're all special. And they form their own little bonds and it's all nice and sweet except for the unimaginable horror zombies and child experimentation.

ANYWAY.

That's what I'm imagining for Genloss. All these kids are in one facility, and they're being raised to be performers. I think GL!Charlie's one of these kids who lives in the dorms. But early on, I believe he was seen as a talented actor, so he was taken to live in his own little room, the cabin, so he could form an attachment to it. That's his main role, I believe, although he circles around in Episode 2 and 3 because Showfall thinks it's funny to see him there, but he's always the Slime Demon in Episode 1. And they raised him just for that, so that's why he has so many personal effects in his cabin, like the photo and the sports equipment. He even has his own portrait.

Anyway, I'm imagining him to still interact with the other kids, at lunchtime and break and stuff, when they're not working. I'd like to think that's how he meets other Main Cast, like Ranboo and Sneeg, as well as others like Niki, Austin, Frank (when he was still alive), Ethan, and Vinesauce. So he knows them as he's going into the show, but once they put him under, he forgets them and has no moral qualms about what he's doing.

Continuing with the Maze-Runner-ish thing (this isn't an AU I swear), I think he might've been given away by his parents at some point. Because has the photo, it could very well be a headshot, like actors put on their CV, or it could be a school photo from when he was actually outside. I saw exactly One Video about the book It Was Just Another Day In America by Ryan David Ginsberg (I'm going to read it when I have it), and the idea of selling your kids because you have no other choice is painful and dystopian and exactly what I think would happen in this Generation Loss world. The outside world, the audience (not us), is failing and collapsing but everybody is buying buying buying and everything is getting very very expensive so some people, if they want their kid to live, if they want to live themselves, well, there's no other choice. Showfall Media conveniently swoops in with an offer and pressures them til they can't say no, and takes their kid for a hefty sum and hopes the parents won't recognise them when they end up dying on live TV.

Does this happen for GL!Ranboo? I don't know. I like this idea of him meeting GL!Charlie and the others in the Showfall dorms, but I also like the idea of them just going missing one day, picked up off the streets and flung into this whole mess. I don't know if that was confirmed by the pre-release short videos they put out, I can't tell anything from those other than a sense of "oh fuck", but yeah. For Charlie, I like this headcanon.

Maze Runner style.

If I were to substitute characters out (I'm doing this for fun now, it isn't relevant to the headcanon), I'd do it like this:

Charlie Slimecicle - Thomas. He's kept apart from them, but he still sees them. He's an outsider and he's particularly special.

Sneegsnag - Alby. He's the leader of them, he's dry and bored. He's not as serious as Alby, but he seems the most confident, so he's the leader.

Ranboo - Newt? I think so. He seems pretty timid when I think of him, but they're rather chill and definitely aren't a pushover when it comes to interacting with the other characters. I think Newt works because they also would be the one to help out Charlie (Thomas) when he first comes down.

Frank could be anyone, really. I have no idea of his character. Minho is a very core character, obviously, and Frank could definitely fit that. Happy, upbeat, childish, a strong bond with Sneeg which would carry on even after he stops talking (whether from psychological damage or actual death, I dunno).

q!slimecicle has to either be turning into a code because of codeflippa (she can do no wrong) or has been a code for a long time and it’s just harder to pretend he isn’t actually slimecicle.

Tbh I’m leaning more towards that he’s being corrupted/turned into one because we can still see all the trauma and his reactions seem genuine,

Anyway Charlie slimecicle lore is so amazing and I can’t wait to see what happens even though

Hopefully if he streams tonight I’ll be able to stay up and watch.

I have a lot of thoughts about it that I’m hoping to write down a bit later :)

Cellbit: f!cell was probably under the influence of the Flesh bc cannibalism but q!cellbit is so very Eye coded. this man is the definition of an Eye avatar. the only thing more Eye than q!cellbit is the Eye itself

Hombre Mysterioso: Dark bc like his name literally has mystery in it so its a lil bit obvious

Jaiden: Lonely marked in the saddest way possible. especially after bobby died, shes isolated herself a lot and she hasnt strongly connected with many people, and she feels like she can only really trust herself bc of everything with the federation

Foolish: Vast. hes a shark with lightning (also immortality in general is very vast coded)

Bagi: VERY Eye coded. probably hates the Flesh too

Etoiles: Hunt and the whole thing with his arm getting all weird is just him getting so deep into the Hint that its started changing him

Baghera: Eye avatar

Forever: Hunt bc wolfboy. but the Happy Pills were a Spiral thing

Pac: Lonely. like look at his whole arc rn. Lonely

Tubbo: i cant explain it but he gives off Buried vibes. like its not because of anything, he just seems like a Buried guy

Even More QSMP Tinfoil

So, what's up with the codes actually?

So I think it's clear the code is like, actually an AI of some sort. And like most AI we have these days, the real journey is watching the AI learn.

I think the AI very clearly wants to destroy the Federation, possibly the island itself. First they targeted the Eggs which is strange but makes sense if the Eggs are the things tying the residents to the island. Basically, the AI doesn't really want the residents themselves to die, they just are opposed to whatever the Federation is doing with them on the island. The residents are all bound to stay here to take care of the Eggs, which the AI sought to stop by killing them. This...Failed.

Then the AI started trying to imitate the Eggs to use the resident's attachment to them to get close to them. At this point they are seemingly attacking the residents, so it's possible the AI think it that it has realized that the residents have to die in order for the Federation to be stopped. This...Also failed.

So now what are they doing? They're targeting individual people and trying to learn how to manipulate them. The code repeatedly challenged Etoiles, knowing he wants a good fight, and is gradually corrupting him with their AI glitchiness. They even realize that he could be convinced to fight alongside them if he viewed them as anti-Federation enough and actual friends in combat instead of entities just trying to kill people.

And then we have code!Juanaflippa. Clearly imbued with some memories and the vague concept of emotions towards Slimecicle, she is designed to appeal specifically to him at first, gradually corrupting him into AI weirdness. Then they also start using the appealing form of an Egg to lure islanders in directions to meet some end-goal of their's.

I don't think I understand everything that's happening. But it's clear that the AI is learning how it can fight the Federation, and it realizes that the residents are the best path.

And then there's the picture BadBoyHalo got. Which is clearly, to me, the AI finding its first ally amongst someone who felt marginalized and alone around the Federation. What happened on this island long ago? Certainly deepest lore is waiting to be unveiled...

Ash do you think that when Slimecicle hugged flippa, she was cold? She was not his girl he knew, he knows this, but he continues to hug her frail and broken body despite it obviously being a plot for a code.

He knows his daughter. He knows her mannerisms. But a man so struck with grief could not see if he even wanted to.

Q!slime was always the one looking out for her things, in the spinning wheel room, in the graveyard, etc. But when he sees nothing, he knows he will not have a part.

But now with her back, with the redundant and futile attempts to keep his Flippa safe- he remembers how she really was.

He hates to even blink around flippa in fear that she will disappear once more. He was so hesitant to leave her. But...he believes that is his daughter. He has no reason to not trust her, after all. She remembers their fights. The mines. The pranks. The dances. The music. Or..had she learned it through other manners?

He knows she is a code, but for him he is just a dad without his daughter.

Ooooo don't listen to deftones while you think about q!slime and flippa ooo it wouldn't be fucking heart wrenching at all

do you think when he kissed her forehead his lips left a mark of code. he knows that never used to happen his mind forcibly connects the dots between her destroying the sign and now but he ignores it. he ignores it the same way he ignores how cold her hands feel and how lifeless her typing and movements are. he ignores it the same way he ignores her calling him dad instead of papa and taking a couple extra seconds to set up the backflip. he ignores it the same way he ignores his tears falling and hitting her cheek, spreading the code even further.

he couldnt get used to her being back the whole time man. he kept checking on her whenever she was invisible, making sure she was still around and ok. he kept holding her as much as possible, whispering into her hair "im so glad youre back. im so glad youre back ive missed you so much" do you think hes saying that to reassure himself she really is back? that he really can be glad? when he walked upstairs to end stream, do you think he was telling the truth when he said he finally thinks hes being a better parent? or was he trying as hard as he could to convince not us, but himself.

he's just a dad without his daughter. and now that shes back he finally thinks a better life is possible. he doesnt care she seems off or her manerisms have changed or her typing is weird, he loves his daughter. all he cares about is being with her again despite all odds, and if that version of "her" isnt normal hes fine with that. as long as she tells him she loves him and holds him in her strangely cold arms he will be content for as long as flippa wants him to be.
